World TEFL Institute is owned by the same British guy that owns ITT International TEFL and TESOL Ltd.

James Anthony Dwyer.

Therefore, the same scam warning that applies to ITT International TEFL and TESOL Ltd. also applies to World TEFL Institute.

James falsely claims the following about World TEFL Institute:

- It is a government-regulated course

- it is fully accredited

- it is recognized worldwide

- it receives consistently positive customer reviews

In response to these claims:

- World TEFL Institute is a registered company in the UK. Anyone can register a company in the UK. It is, by no means, government-regulated.

- James created and owns the accreditation website that "independently accredits" his TEFL program's courses.

- Certificates from this company are not recognized worldwide because of the fake accreditation, and because James now has a tarnished reputation in the TEFL marketplace.

- James writes reviews for his own program.

At the bottom of the website page for World TEFL Institute, it reads: "Copyright 2023 © World TELF Institute".

If James can't spell his own company name correctly, you can imagine the quality of the course behind the paywall.

ESLbase deleted James's ITT program from its website and GoOverseas stopped promoting it; due to multiple complaints from consumers that they had been scammed.

Trusted TEFL Reviews - an independent TEFL reviews website - outlined many reasons why you should avoid taking either program, and the evidence is irrefutable.

Incidentally, James claims that World TEFL Institute is a UK-based company.

It may have been registered in the UK but is run exclusively in the Philippines, from Cebu City.

World TEFL Institute is a scam.
