I purchased a 1993 Ram 250 Diesel with 110K miles on 7/17/2022. Now I take full responsibility for not going to look in person at the truck. If I had, I would not have purchased it. I foolishly trusted the salesman. I asked if the 110K miles was actual and he said it was. He lied.
The truck arrived with a dead battery. The driver for the carrier said it must have been sitting for a while. When I asked for a discount from the sales rep, he said it has been listed for less than 14 days. The pic of the truck I think were slightly photo shopped to cover up some of the rust that was painted over. You can plainly see the overspray of the body rust on closer inspection. I think this was the reason that the pics of the truck were taken down so quickly. The underside was given a gloss black paint to cover up a multitude of rust and wear. There is no way that this truck had 100K miles.
Mechanicly the manual transmission shifted very hard and there is a lot of clutch noise. The transmission is covered in oil. Many wires are frayed and exposed in the engine compartment and the K&N air filter has not been cleaned probably since new. It was black with oil and dirt. I am trying to contact a manager, but they won't answer my calls. I could list more but I just received the truck.
I would strongly recommend not purchasing a vehicle form Worldwide Vintage Autos.
Desired outcome: A full refund.
