World Wide Express has been looking for an outside sales executive in the Nashville, Tn. area for over 10 months now. They will NEVER find one because they are the rudest most arrogant people in any business. I have ever dealt with any one this rude. Before I could even begin to answer my first question, the guy was rushing me and just said 'you need to leave'.

While interviewing, they are rude, arrogant, insensitive and will never find an outside sales person because of the way they treat their interviewers. I have a wonderful job now as a Business Account Executive with another company, so I am glad I am not with them, but save yourself the time and effort from being treated so rudely and then thrown out. There are plenty of other companies that are at least decent to the people they interview. DON'T WASTE YOU TIME!

Sorry to hear your experience was so bad. I just happened to take a job with them in NY and the experience has been wonderful to say the least. You might want to review a company before interviewing and before writing an article. WWEX is a franchise so Nashville vs NY or anywhere else for that manner will have different employees, attitude and expectations.

All things considered your calling out WWEX when in fact you should be speaking specifically about Nashville. Just something to think about.

I just hired on a month ago with a office in NY. It's been a wonderful experience.
WWEX is a franchise so just because you have beef with Nashville doesn't mean all of WWEX is in that same situation.

When blogging on the net, interviewing or anything you should consider the entire situation before making an opinion.

If you went to a beach and it sucked would you say all beaches suck?

I worked in the Chicago office and it was the worst job i have ever had. The owners were idiots and didnt know run a business. The lied to customers, cheated me out of commissions and were the most annoying bosses ever. It was a mother daughter combo who would fight all the time, disappear and not explain where they were. I'll tell you where they were, at home thinking up ways to cheat someone else out of money. If you are ever considering working for WWEX, absolutely do not work at the State street office. You will want to kill yourself, I promise.

I too made the mistake of working for the infamous Worldwide Express. They have a vacumn cleaner sales approach, forcing their sales reps to knock on 70+ doors a day to try and find business. 40%-60% of their accounts leave within two months of signing up with them. They do not know how to manage accounts in any way shape or form. They offer a ### $30, 000 base salary and ### commission plan. They are franchise based, we all know how shady franchise based businesses can be. Each office is independently owned and operated and follows no guidelines whatsoever. Worst sales job I have ever had. They act like they are Fedex or UPS, when in reality they are some tiny [censored]house shipping broker. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY< YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU DO.

Also, I have heard horror stories of them trying to sue former sales reps who leave the company and find work with a competing shipping company. If you do make the mistake of working for them, make sure you tell them to screw off when they ask you to sign their ### non-compete agreement.

Say not to Worldwide Express / CGI Franchise Systems!

I didn't work for them but I used their service through Fusion Partners in LA. www.fusionpartners.com
The sales rep said they will discount 5% more than we were getting from UPS.
Their "List Price" is somewhere around 15% higher than "UPS published rate". As a result, we paid more than we were getting from UPS.
I had to check all the invoices from them as sometimes they chage prepaid package to our account.
Keep away from Worldwide Express and Fusion Partners !

With your horrendous grammar and 3rd or 4th grade punctuation, spelling and typos it is a clear indication that you are well accustomed to being asked to leave people's offices.
You should have paid attention and applied yourself in grade school.

I also went on an interview recently with Fusion Partners aka WWEX in the Philly and I agree that the people representing the company in the interview were ignorant and totally disrespectful! I wanted to stop right in the middle of the interview and leave, but I have respect so I stayed but I wont come back for the second interview!

I just recently began working in one of the NY offices. Granted each franchise is run by a different owner, but I can only speak from my experience. It has been a great experience so far as an entry level sales position and they were very up front and honest about the qualities they look for in their sales reps. If you have an issue with knocking on doors and think that a $30, 000 base salary plus full benefits and a 401k option is "[censor]" for an entry level sales position, you have obviously not done very much homework on many other entry level sales positions. I wish you the best of luck in your pursuit of a sales rep job that does not require you to knock on doors and make you earn your paycheck.

Everyone will have varied opinions about any job or career. Personally, I worked for WWEX for over a year in North Carolina, and enjoyed much of what I experienced. True, the pay is low, but we are talking about entry level sales positions here, not c-suite assignments. Once I received the green light to hit the pavement, I received bonuses and commissions in a fair and equitable manner. My offices did not have group insurance, but did reimburse me for my premiums. The Basic Sales Training is a full week of scripting and role playing, with a contest at the end where the winner stands to receive $1000 case and the infamous Mont Blanc pen. I won mine, and it set the stage for a successful though short stint with the organization.
Yes, there is some arrogance with WWEX and Fusion. The prior EVP of Worldwide can make anyone want to leave, and some do, but I feel that it weeds out those who wouldn't be able to stomach a field sales job in the first place. It is not for everyone. It takes a high energy, type A person to succeed in this position and if that does not fit who you are, then you should look somewhere else. If a young professional cannot handle the cold-shoulder egos that some at WWEX have, there is no way they will be successful at B2B field sales. Many doors will be shut in your face, but many will remain open. As a second generation owner of a large healthcare company, I value the fact that my father did not hire me directly out of undergrad, and I attribute much of my aggressive "go get um" style of strategic growth to the training and experience i gained at Worldwide.
Best of luck to you all.

Worldwide Express? Great entry level job for good skills training but I made it to management and found out how horrible WWEX is. Lies after lies after lies and I could not continue trading my own personal integrity for such a company. Greatest training program in the US for recent college grads that want to get into sales. You can get any sales job with WWEX on your resume but you wont stay there long unless you too are willing to lie and cheat to make money.

As an executive recruiter in transportation this company is laughable. From the videos I have seen to the stories I have heard I have no idea how they get people to work for them. It is really amazing. The culture within this company reminds me so much when I was just getting out of college and was being recruited by these two meatheads selling copiers. They seem to zero in on cute girls and arrogant ex-jocks. Just some advice, and take it for what you will, but if you are interested in a career in transportation, one, get a degree in logistics if you can. Certain universities have degrees in logistics. Two, start in operations even if you are most interested in being in front of the customer later on. I have found the best sales people come from an operations background. Three, network, network, network. This will help you with you next job. Four, research, research, research. The decisions you make today will affect tomorrow. Start with the right company and save yourself time. It is more beneficial to intern for free with a good company than to start out with a bad one. Bad habits are hard to break. Good habits will serve you a lifetime. And one more thing, and trust me on this. Look to make a move (doesn't mean you have to) every five to eight years. If you don't. You will lose money if you are not moving the company ladder. That is all. Best of luck to all. And I guess I will add this as well. Return calls from recruiters. Establish a relationship with one you who values honesty, integrity, and who has strong business ethics. We are here to help you. Not all are good and not all are bad. You will have to decipher that on your own. Remember it is a job to get a job and you never want to be without one. You are always more marketable when employed. Hope this helps all and again best of luck.

Worldwide Express Miami sounds just as bad as Nashville if not worse. This company will also lie cheat and steal valuable clienteles money just because it is convenient for their pocket. The turn over ratio is absolutely horrifying, no one lasts. The office as a whole is also miserable, there is no respect and no boundaries. The management is non existent and the perks are zero to none. Absolutely mortifying experience, owner posts fake reviews on Indeed about how great the company is. Candidates beware, stay far away or just play close attention to office dynamic when interviewing and that will give it away.

The worst company by far I have worked for. Thank god I'm done with WWE Pittsburgh franchise. Owner only favors the females. Management is atrocious. Not a single person knows what is going on.
