On 25/12/2021, I ordered a pair of boots online from www.martensboot.shop for a total of £36.50 including delivery.

Having received no confirmation, except (I later discovered) from "After-sales Service" - no other name - which gave only an order number and amount of £36.5GBP.

They actually took £37.35 from my credit card via some dollars to pounds conversion. The line in my credit card account shows:
25 Dec 2020 SS*fightargapplehop 50.15U.S. DOLLA at 1.34270415 £37.35

The company has no postal address or email address or phone number shown online. The only contact is by an online form which I have sent several messages on without any reply.

From checking their T&Cs I have discovered the company is in China - it says only the Chinese laws have jurisdiction over it.

I contacted the Dr Martens website to tell them about the company using their name and logo. They thanked me and after checking it said it was a fake site which was using their name and logo without authorisation. They had passed the information to their legal team.

I contacted my bank to change my credit card to prevent future misuse by the company.

Then on 04/01/2021 I received a pair of sunglasses by Yodel delivery. The package label shows the same order number as my boots order with www.martensboot.shop.

Is it possible to get a contact number for the Southall company or find who it is owned by?

The From address on the sunglasses package is: 4PX, Unit 5, Trident Way, Southall, UB2 5LF. There are a lot of complaints associated with this Southall address.

I don't understand the connection between this address in Southall and www.martensboot.shop based in China.

Desired outcome: Refund of £37.35

Hello, the exact same thing happened to me! Has there been any other progression in your query? Why did they send sunglasses etc?

It was the same for me, no reply to e-mails to Customer service and it explains where the cheap sunglasses came from.
Still no sign of shoes, - a costly mistake!

This is becoming THE NORM. I ORDERED SANDALS FROM THIS COMPANY COSTING £49.92 EXCLUDING NON-STERLING TRANSACTION FEE ON 29/12/2020 A COMPANY FROM DOC MARTINS. STILLWAITING FOR THE DELIVERY.

I have received a pair of mesh ladies shoes in my size in purple apparently from this company but I do not remember ordering these at all & cannot trace an order on my laptop. It would appear that if I attempt to return these it will be virtually impossible so hey ho what to do?
