it all started with internet chat' oh how are you' where have you been. long time no contact. one day this man who poses to be residing in london sent an email attachment with a reciept of Xtrac courier services and informed that he has sent a parcel containing a laptop and some currency through this courier. a couple of days after calls started coming from kualalumpur that malaysian customs have detained the parcel on the charge that it contains money and valuables. A penalty fees of US$850 was demanded plus a demurrage of US$280. on our request an email was sent to us naming the person and adress to send the money to. couple of days later price goes up to 16000 british pounds for sending the parcel onwards as now miraculously over 200000 British Pounds are detected in the parcel. There are a lot of stories like this on the net. These people are so convincing in their frauds that mostly people fall in their trap that is why these frauds keep going on otherwise it would be a dead business by now.

THE KIND OF FRAUD
On the 12 Dec 2016, I received a text via my mobile informing me that he just arrived at transits KL Intl airport to en route destination SGD. With due respect, I was wondering why must he text before calling me? I guess he's not a professional personating an agent form the UK Federal Diplomatic Service Courier and demanding me to pay the cost fees of $8, 220.00 SGD. Without hesitation I just off my mobile!
