SEO provider ZOEK is a total scam and so disrespectful, wasted so much of my money and did nothing, knew nothing and refused to hear my experience
The SEO provider ZOEK is a total scam and so disrespectful, wasted so much of my money and did nothing, knew nothing and refused to hear my experience "Combine with our on-site SEO services for guaranteed ranking and traffic results in 90 days or less." is a COMPLETE LIE. Hated everything they said and 'did' for my business. They fail small businesses and disrespect people, refuse to make accommodations for where they failed or admit their work was inadequate. AND after I expressed all this upset they had the audacity to charge me 2 months after I told them to stop after our agreed upon package. I have never had such a horrible service provider and I have to warn folks how deeply dangerous of an investment this is and how awful it turned out for me. So much stress it caused and continues to cost me almost a year later!

SEO service are a scam
I prepaid for a year of services. In the first month, they said they did 3 links. None were visible. They wrote a 3 paragraph AI generated blog post to a non-industry relevant site with information that is not helpful. Did keyword search for a keyword that gets 0 traffic, ever and when I told them before doing the work, it is not a relevant keyword, they didn't care. If you try to cancel for lack of communication or activity, they don't care because they say you get nothing back for the other 11 months we didn't start work for. COMPLETE SCAM. So by not doing any work, they win because client gets no recourse.
Recommendation: ABSOLUTE SCAM, stay away.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. *** L started off very professionally on the phone, gave me a quote with a one month turn around do redo two menu pages on my website. She took my money and has ignored every email I've sent her since. Next week will be the three month *** and nothing has been done, they don't return emails, or phone calls.I have spoken to "***" who was supposed to be doing the work on my website twice. He had told me both times that he's busy with clients. Am I not a client? They treated me like one WHEN THEY TOOK MY MONEY! On Jan 20th, I received an email from *** in escalations saying how bad he felt that I was having this problem and that he wanted to help me. I wrote him back on the 21st with no answer. I wrote him again on the 23rd with no response. I called him on the 25th and was able to get him on the phone. He promised me that *** would call me that same day with an update. Shockingly, *** never called. I emailed *** this morning at 7:30 and have also left him another voice mail earlier today with no response. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company and their employees. They have ZERO integrity, and are THIEFS.

I am always hesitant to write a negative review of anyones business, but with Zoek, we spent $3,000 and they created four horrifically written new pegs on my website and provided *** reports wrapped in the Zoek branding Zero SEO improvement.
I hired a professional ( ZOEK) recommended Wix. I paid this SEO company in full for the entire year $2000, expecting them to deliver quality work. However, the I checked the progress of PHASE 1, I found that they "content' they had written, ( content refers to 3 short , VERY SHORT, essays they content of which was taken from my own website. Obviously, I do not want to pay for content that's already on my site and have not updated my site. Ido not trust that they will do quality work because when i ask them about the quality of the content, they want me TO PAY MORE MONEY. They are refusing to pay me back for services that do not match the quality of the work I was expecting. For example, they write in one of the essays ... Butter Bits also make lotion bars. THATS THE ONLY THING I MAKE. They are adding erroneous content to the website and are telling me to go fix it or delete it if I don't like it. WHAT !?!? If I knew they were going to write this quality of essays and plagiarizeI wouldn't hire them. They are now REFUSING to negotiate or to pay me back for services I do not want. Why do I have to pay for essays with verbiage taken from my own site. Is that even effective in increasing traffic to my site?! I want a full refund and I want them to keep their essays for themselves.

Go Zoek to Go Broke. I wish I could give them zero stars. They constantly harass and gaslight customers. I paid for a website design, on-site and off-site SEO services and 1st page of *** placement. Once my website was completed, the issues started. They claimed I misunderstood the contract and that it wasn't agreed upon that I had paid for SEO services but for an additional $59/month I could. Too bad I had it in writing through 80+ emails that I DID pay for it. They also blackmail customers with threats of ruining credit scores if they block payments (I reported them to my bank and have a perfect credit score). Their supervisor *** is the worst of the manipulators. She needs serious people skills. When I first hired them, they had 5 stars. They clearly have changed management. All I wanted was a website and to transfer my business to it. Blocking payments made them triple the harassment. I've reported them to Wix Abuse as well since Wix recommended them and they said they'll be watching them. Filing a report with ComplaintsBoard.com made the harassment quadruple via email. They would be nice via responses through the ComplaintsBoard.com and then through email would double down, eventually it got to the point where I could no longer respond to them through the ComplaintsBoard.com. This is not a nice company. All customers should be aware and steer clear of them.

Took me for allot of money. No product satisfaction. No refund or partial refund. Will not even give you credit towards another SEO campaign. They will take your money and run. Don't bother reading the fine print of their contract/agreement. They will do as they will.After not communicating with them for over a year, they charge me for an order I didn't ask for!I don't understand with a 1.92/5 customer average, they have a B rating with the ComplaintsBoard.com.They deserve a D+ rating. Can you imagine charging me for there service, after 1 year of doing no business with them, they charged my bank aacount money on a Saturday at 7pm? So I have to go my bank on a Monday at 9pm to stop payment on it.

I subscribed to Zoek on 20th Jan 2020 for 3 months. I was promised many value adding services Zoek will be able to provide to improve my website's presence. However, I received nothing but non-sense pages on my websites - which I would really be embarrassed to have on my website as they are irrelevant contents. To make it worse, the design of the pages doesn't even marry with the rest of my pages. I received no reports or updates on results from whatever Zoek has "done" since I joined. When I finally had enough, I emailed the project manager, Yaseen M, to enquire on how I can stop the subscription with Zoek and how it works with the payments/contract on 3rd April . And since then, I've received daily (sometimes twice daily) email from Yaseen reminding me to sign the Cessation of Services Agreement. I emailed Yaseen back on 9th April requesting to clarify when the last payment would be due and what value adds have been done so far for all the payments I've made. He didn't respond. Instead, I've got an email from Maria Rodriguez the next day advising that she's going to be my new Project Manager. I tried to reach Maria and asked for her to schedule a call to further discuss my account but heard nothing back from her. Having experienced the above, I can't help to think that Zoek is nothing but a fraud which try to take people's money by locking them into a contract and disappeared.
For my beauty supply business, I wanted on-site and off-site SEO. I knew no one else to turn to but Zoek Marketing. They have previously done services for me and always delivered on their promises. They have a client for life, so I recommended them from my side.
My firm was doing well, but I discovered that our website wasn't appearing in the top sites in *** searches. I contacted Zoek Marketing, and they promptly increased our ranking on all search engines. My candy company has never been stronger.

BUYER BEWARE! Zoek - Absolutely the worst experience in my marketing life! To start, the staff is extremely RUDE, almost never available, and the worst part is you can never cancel with them. These crooks, even after requesting to cancel their service, continue to bill your credit cards. They billed a card for 2 years after the cancellation request and even after we changed cards, they continued to bill the new one! I spoke with their representatives, and I can't begin to explain what a clan of crooks they are. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

It was only after the "initial website build" that they admitted that it really cannot be done and they are stringing me along with some sort of makeshift workaround. It's not going to work. The supervisor tells me that I am not eligible for a refund citing the contract language. And offers no resolution to my complete frustration. So no website and no refund of any sort...not even the web hosting! It's entirely unethical. They boast in boldface that there is a "money back guarantee" in the sales pitch documentation. But that only applies in that sketchy timeframe between the consultation and the "initial website build." How are you to know you are not satisfied until you are presented with some of their work? That initial website build is vague and ambiguous. I have never experienced anything like this. They only communicate when I hound them for updates. I was so excited to launch my online business, ready and eager to be presented with a website I could be proud of. Instead I'm at a standstill and not able to open up my business. Zoek took the wind out of my sails. They are not interested in making it right with their client. They've got their money and I am made to feel like a nuisance to them.
After you pay them, then they send the contract. If you decide not to sign contract, you will no longer be able to contact them. They ignore you and keep your money. Glad I found this out before signing.

It is now August 2022 and I still do not have a website that is operating with what they have promised. I called and spoke to the billing department about parting ways. Billing said she would get back to me. Now they wont answer my calls. I have paid $656 in payments. They are stating that I still owe $798.00. My patience has run out. This is a breach of contract, a scam, and I demand a cancellation of this contract.

They did send me nice, colorful email templates saying they had finished phase 1, phase 2 and phase three all within about 2 weeks, yet, here it is, 90 days later and I can't even find my business website listing ANYWHERE on Google. They also aed to have mailed mobile site..which has not been touched at all. Essentially, I have seen NO results at all, no follow up calls or emails. NOTHING. Within the first week of starting my Zoek package, the baraged me with emails and calls to upsell me on more content packages, etc., before they had even proved themselves by doing what I had originally asked for, signed up for and paid for. I have called Zoek and since my package does not include a "dedicated project manager" I speak with various reps who tell me to be patient for results. "It can take 90 days or more to see results", they tell me, but little else. I have been designing websites for many years, but I am not an SEO expert. However, I do know what to look for when SEO has been properly implemented. As far as I can tell, the only thing Zoek has implemented is their monthly billing on my bank account and giving me excuses for not doing much of anything for my SEO. There are lots of other good, affordable SEO companies out there. I am surprised that *** promoted Zoek...not very good for ***'s business. Don't use Zoek. ***.

My experience with Zoek was utterly frustrating, and a total failure. I signed an agreement on July 23, filled out the business info they requested, and sent additional ideas/photos as suggested. I had to submit much of the same info more than once (waste of my time), and my project manager completely missed our first scheduled phone update (another waste of my time), and was consistently late in responding to emails. I got a lot of automated emails, but saw NO results of work on my behalf until the end of August, and that was an SEO report. I was told by one person to expect a draft of my new website by the week of Aug 15. One week later my project manager told me I shouldn't expect anything until the end of August. Timing was critical for this marketing project, and Zoek completely destroyed any hopes I had of having something fresh and effective by Sept 1. Finally, out of utter frustration, and after chewing out my project manager, I paid an additional $99.99 and cancelled my agreement in early September. I redid my own website, and dealt directly with Google ads for more efficient ads. I am deeply, deeply disappointed in Zoek. My project manager was evidently going through a couple of personal crises, which I understand. But a well-run business would make sure a customer's account is still serviced WELL. Bottom line: Zoek's service is unprofessional, ineffective, and certainly not worth your money, particularly if you're a small business. In essence: you don't matter as much as the big companies the say they have serviced. My advice: find someone else or do it yourself.

This company is a ripoff! Got me for $1600 I *** full not thinking I would get screwed! in there contract says you get certain percentages back if you decide to cancel. I had one consultation. I picked a template for the site. sent them over 20 photos. All they did is add one photo my name and address of the business and that was considered a complete build. No other info writing or edits were conducted Nor did they add anything to the website to even edit. They told me 30 days they would have a website made. I dealt with them back in forth for 2 months trying to get in contact with them. After getting frustrated and getting no where with this company or my website. I requested my money back. They still tried to convince me to move forward and it will all work out. I tried to give them another chance but got the run around again. So I contacted them again and said I want a refund not liking the service. When trying to get in contact with them or when you scheduled apt with then they never called me back or fulfilled there scheduled appointments. And then was told I was getting refunded is not possible! They try and push there clients to get past there consultation and pick a template so they can do a edit on basically nothing! After 3 edits they charge you more. I refused to do a edit until they actual built the website. But thats where they get you. After your first consultation you dont get your money back thats considered a complete build cuz you picked a template thats pre-made adding a address and phone number with one photo! Is not a complete build! Such a rip off! Loops holes in there contract that enables them to rip you off! Wish I would of read these reviews! Hopefully this will save someone else the heartache of getting screwed over!

Beware of ZOEK; I can only say I wish I checked ComplaintsBoard.com first. Partnered with ZOEK for Simple SEO, Premium Content and Social Media 3 times per week. Early on, they made big mistakes posting my home address which I requested not to, and an incorrect email. It has taken forever for them to fix it and it is still not fixed. They said they would do 3 posts to social media per week; I lost trust and refused to give FB access; as a workaround, they sent to me to post on FB. This never happened. But I was charged for it. As for the Premium Content, it was laden with grammatical errors. We could not get them to make any corrections. Instead of resolving issues, they continued with poor service until I had enough and canceled. But wait, there's more. You cannot just cancel; you need to sign their 'Cessation of Services Agreement,' which authorizes them to charge the contract's remainder. Why pay more when I was charged for services NOT provided and what was provided was poor and inaccurate quality. I attempted to compromise (30-day notice and keep what was paid even though not earned) with them but they refused, stuck in the loop sign and pay, sign and pay, sign and pay. They refuse to cancel this contract unless we sign as-is, which authorizes them to keep collecting the contract's balance. In the end, we may actually need to pay but will not sign the contract as we are paying under duress and not in goodwill. The unfortunate part is I am just getting started, which is not a good way to begin a new business. It seems ZOEK is in the business of faulty contracts serving only 1 party, ZOEK, and a terrible loop you cannot get out of when things go bad. If we can help another person make the same mistake, please heed this review and the 94 other ones and stay away.

My experience with Zoek has been a complete debacle. I have requested help or resolution so many times I have lost count. It is obvious there is a serious disconnect between sales, operations, web design support, and the actual web designers. Needless to say, the lack of communication between departments to each other and the lack of caring or concern for a customer's needs are glaring and apparent. There is not a single company that I work with that has worse customer service than what I have received from Zoek. At this point, I do not believe Zoek can complete my project to my expectations. The examples I was shown of websites created for customers do not resemble my website in any way. The template I selected "coffee house" looked professional, clean, modern, and fantastic. The website which has now been sent to me for review looks amateur, unprofessional, cluttered, and is not something that I want to represent my company in any way. The edits I requested have been ignored and not used. Much of the content and pictures of the business I have sent have been ignored. I was sent the same copy of a website for approval twice with no changes. I am not stupid but I am completely dissatisfied. I have been promised completion deadlines over and over, none of which have been met. I can't afford to do business this way and I need to find another company that can complete a project.I have decided to part ways with Zoek. I believe that the person in charge of web design has decided my project is irrelevant and I have become a point of contention and now I will get no assistance whatsoever. IT IS OBVIOUS! I choose not to work with Zoek under these conditions. I have requested full credit from Zoek. I have taken up the issue with WIX who seems unwilling to take ownership of the fact they recommended Zoek and work as partners but now there's an issue, they want no part of it! In total, there are hundreds of people who have all complained about this company and that is not including the reviews they have probably deleted or somehow got rid of. We are all saying the same exact thing. This company is a Fraud. ComplaintsBoard.com, please start an investigation on this company. Please! They are scamming innocent people. Zoek claims to provide a service to customers with website building and improving SEO. They start by making us sign a contract that basically states they will be doing this service, and in return, we (the customer) will pay a fee on a monthly basis for that service. We then provide our credit card information to pay our first month's payment and a separate fee to sign up. However, they never hold their end of the bargain. They do not provide the service that they state they will provide, but they continue to charge our (the customer) account each month. This is stealing! We are paying this company for a service, but we never get what we are paying for. This is a breach of contract! I first spoke to a representative from Zoek at the end of August. I was hesitant at first because I wasn't expecting to pay a monthly fee for a long period of time. I was contacted by Zoek through my website provider when I sought to hire a professional to redo my website. I was only interested to pay a single charge upfront. Eventually, I signed up with Zoek once the representative convinced me how important it was to have a professional team working on my website's SEO on a daily basis due to algorithms. I signed up on September 4th. I sent numerous emails to my "project manager" asking for an update on my website redesign. I was constantly told it was being worked on by another department and they will send me a link to approve it. That never happened. I asked so many times, that eventually, I just gave up asking. It is now November 5th and I have been charged a total of $399.97 for no reason. My Website was never redesigned, which again was the main purpose I signed up with Zoek. I noticed that every single customer that has complained, Zoek takes the time to write a response on here with some sort of excuse for what happened. Hundreds of people who are all saying the same thing can't all be making it up! There's no way that hundreds of strangers are all lying. There is no way that it is just in all of our heads. I am very disappointed that this company is still able to scam innocent people like me today when there have been so many complaints against this company before me. Horrible service! Over promised and under delivered! Customer service extremely argumentative and customer last was my initial impression. The 30 minute consultation that was promised in contract was actually 10 minutes. From the 10 minute conversation 45 days later a website was created and published without prior notification to me. They were shocked that I wanted to view the site prior to it being published. I provided a few examples of what I wanted my site to look like as well as the logo. The finished site looked nothing like what I asked for. Numerous attempts to contact them resulted in extremely long response time. Per contract, I should've received 24 hour priority in response, I didn't. The domain name that I provided to them was not used. It was a nightmare getting it all corrected because the wrong domain was published and listed. Every effort was a challenge. Per contract they committed to list and market 25 products. It took so long for them to even add the list of products that I ended up posting them myself. The excuse was that they were working on a really big project that required a lot of their time and mine was small and they would get to it. Reality, they do not commit to their contract fully. Bits and pieces were performed to shut me up. When I complained to the customer service manager, the response would start with, "first of all." As if I did something wrong by demanding the service that I paid for. $1500 down the drain and only thing I received was a fraction of the work that was promised. Each time I complained they would brush me off and take forever to respond. Most request fell on deaf ear. The final straw was when I asked for them to apply 40% discount to my site. Two weeks later, they applied the discount to the domain that they first created incorrectly and published without consulting me. They emailed me to let me know my designer quit all of a sudden causing issues. They asked that I call them to talk through the process since they applied the work to the wrong site. I was so frustrated that I told them to just cancel. The customer service manager emailed me to say that I would be charged $124 fee for early cancelation. I was livid because through that point, I did not receive what was promised via contract. I performed most of the work. I was extremely patient with them but felt they could care less about my website. I am angry because I trusted this company to deliver on what they contracted to do and I received a fraction of the work. The pre written content they promised was horrible. My impression of this company is that it's a total fraud! I have all the email communication from start to finish to back up everything I stated in this complaint. There is quite bit more, just too much to get into. But again, I have all email communication to support my claim as well as contract to show that they clearly dis not deliver. Ideally, they should have apologized and offer to refund some of the funds and that would've been acceptable. But with this company, that would be too much to expect from them. For a small single owner business, just horrible experience.

Incompetent SEO Web Developers, Lack of Communication, Unfulfilled Promises. I joined in June , paying $1,600. Will from Sales assured me my site would be fully SEO optimized, including image alt tags, local search-tailored meta descriptions, schema markup, internal link building, and broken link repairs. My site, with years of organic traffic growth, had over 75 subpages and 50+ blog posts. Despite the site's size, the sales team promised thorough optimization. Post-signup, I provided GoZoek with all required info, but their team's product knowledge was poor. They mishandled off-site SEO, creating duplicate listings and failing to correct existing errors. I wish I could give this 0 stars. This was the biggest rip off I have ever dealt with. I hired them to do SEO work for my website, and was convinced to do so after they told me that they would get me to the front page of google. I would have to leave a novel of a review to detail out all of the incompetence that occurred within my six month contract. However, to bullet point it out: - My website never made it to the front page of google (which was the only thing I cared about) - They created extra pages on my website that were TERRIBLY written and flat out embarrassing. After expressing my immediate concern, they said that I could simply "hide" the pages without affecting the SEO (I was told later by a higher up that that was not true). I went in and hid the pages, but not being super tech-savvy I didn't know that I needed to separately "hide" them from the mobile view. The poorly written pages were viewable on mobile devices for months before I realized myself and nobody from Zoek went in to hide them even though I asked them too. - A Zoek worker sent me login credentials to an entirely different user and her business, so I ended up logging into her toolbox. This made me very concerned for my privacy and who they may have sent my credentials too unknowingly. - A summary paragraph that was posted as the business description for the search engines was also terribly written. I rewrote an entire paragraph for them, but it was never changed. After constantly asking if they had updated things, I went into Google my Business and changed it there myself. Unfortunately, I didn't know how to go change it for the other smaller search engines and it is still there (also embarrassing). - I sent so many emails expressing concern over many things and asking questions and very rarely ever got a response. - They did however always reach out when they wanted something. They bribed a 5-star review on Google for 50% off the next month of work (also probably why they have so many 5-star reviews on Google but 1 star reviews here). - They avoided answer my questions multiple times, and towards the end when they asked if I wanted to extend my contract, I redirected to my unanswered questions. Instead of answering, she just said "as a gesture of good will" they would give me the last month for free and asked me to sign the cancellation papers. She told me that if I didn't sign by a certain date, that I would be charged, so I signed them and then she cancelled my account effective immediately (which was a month earlier than it should have been cancelled). At the start of this whole thing, I received an email "from the CEO" stating that they appreciate feedback and such. I sent a lengthy email detailing out all of my issues and got no response. I forwarded it a second time and said I would like a response (because I still had all of their issues that they had not fixed stuck to my website). The email was passed over to the Director of Operations who then tried to "rectify" the situation. She basically just tried to say that they had done their job and were showing all positive results from what they've done. Many things that she told me were completely opposite from what I had been told from my previous Zoek workers. She told me that they updated my summary description and had done everything right, which I politely told her that I updated that myself and that nobody from Zoek had ever fixed it in any of the other search engines. All I wanted was for my website to show on the front page of Google like I was promised, and for the summary description to be updated everywhere that their crappy summary was still showing. She ended her final email to me with this, "While we have provided you with everything promised, I again understand your frustration and have not mentioned the missing payments and have allowed the account to be canceled without issue, of course.". I had NO missing payments and clearly nothing that was promised was provided. They only added more work onto my plate because I had to undo and fix everything that they did. I responded with direct responses to each of her points and accusations and attached screenshots of messages as proof. She never responded to me again. Unfortunately, I still do not know how to fix everything they've done and am appalled at the terrible customer service, work provided, and upper management's attempts to "resolve issues". Never in my life have I dealt with such incompetence. I'm not one to write long negative reviews about anything, but hopefully I can keep this from happening to somebody else.

The report highlighted areas needing improvement, aiding my decision on the service package. The OnSite SEO package cost $1,500 for 3-5 websites, plus a $100 setup fee, with various payment plans. The rep agreed to send a contract for me to sign. In hindsight, I should have trusted my initial reservations.

I hired Zoek through a recommendation through my Wix website for SEO optimization. I was told that they do the analytics to find me the best keywords and provide a list for me to choose. Also asked me which keywords I thought would work. I gave them 3. They used my keywords, never checking to see if these were the best to use and never sent me a list of recommended words. I paid them for this and I did the work. They never bothered to see that my site was already connected to Google and did it again, disconnecting my site. Issues were only resolved after repeated phone calls. I've paid for content writing, answered questions from the writer but still have not received anything and Zoek is telling me phase 1 is completed. All they did to my site is make the content smaller in size. I also was told from each person I talked to that they would be my primary contact, and yet I keep getting passed on to someone else everytime I contact them. Seems I'm getting nothing for my $1,800.
They (Zoek) contacted my wife recently stating they never received payment. Despite my wife stating that we had in fact paid they disputed this and told her it was her job (obligation) to prove payment. When I looked on our accounts for her, we had three charges with transaction dates of 7/12 and posted dates of 7/13 (See Photo). We paid over $2,000 in total. I honestly could not believe that they came back and implied that my wife used their services and did not provide payment, inferring she stole.If they cannot keep track of basic accounting they should not be in business, especially if they are going to make accusations against their customers. It is not the customer's responsibility (obligation) to do their accounting for them. Moreover, they accused my wife who works hard and is not only a mother, full-time employee but is trying to start a business.
So I started working with this company in January after being recommended by my site host, Wix.com. They sold me this exciting offer of helping m,y business for 6 months for $149. After that, I could cancel. At the time I knew nothing of SEO so I agreed. After being with them for 8 months I saw no improvement in traffic to my site. I requested to cancel my account via email on Sep. 3 and was ghosted. I then called their office and was told I would receive a callback, which I never got it. Partnered with ZOEK for Simple SEO Services, Premium Content, Social Media posts 3 times per week. They have you sign a contract and then if you want to cancel due to poor service, poor communication, breach of contract or any other reason you must sign a 'cessation of service agreement'. The agreement as the contract is Unconsiousable as it is wayed only to ZOEK and makes no allowance for their poor service. In order to cancel you must sign the contract on their digital portal. Since I do not agree with any further charges we removed the part about further charges and they refuse to accept it. So either we pay more money to company that has not done what they said they would do or continue to be charged month after month with the threat of reports to collection agency if we change the numbers on the card. Having lost trust I removed would not give FB access so we agreed they would send me the posts to post myself all of which was not done. We attempted to compromise with them.
An aid popped up on wix to help online business owner to increase revenue. I spoke with them and they graded my web page an insured me that if i hired them I would definitely be happy with their service and like others I would continue to renew my contract with them because of the increase in traffic and sales and that it would pay off. My webpage is still not receiving traffic or sales. I worked with multiple people because either they were on vacation or no-longer worked there. The contract specified a timeline which they were always behind on. The quality of work were poor and many mistakes on the description of our products. I called, emailed and texted my concerns with them and I was giving the brush off with someone will call you in 2 days to resolve the issue. I always had to call them back. I started receiving calls and promises from the manager Ryan after I request a full refund do to a breech of contract. He also failed to fulfill his promise on corrections and delivery.

Contract agreement include: A cancellation clause that allows for cancellation of services before the end of the 6 month period. However, after over 1 month of emails chasing/multiple emails, they have still not fulfilled this cancellations - and continued to bill me. First email requesting for cancellation - March 5. As of today, they are still continue to bill me. I consider this a clear breach of contract. The business offered to increase our web traffic and do the back work for our SEO and get us connected to prominent networks. Contract from December to June for SEO web work to generate web traffic through strategic partnerships for sales. The cost was $149 USD monthly for 6 months.
We have done generic web searches for our business and three of the four major keywords attributed to our product line cannot even locate us after multiple pages of searching. We have had 213 site visitors since working with them and from the analytics, we have seen that the majority of those visitors have been from sources with minimal web impact.
When we told them we wanted to cancel after the mandatory subscription time and explained our reasons for unhappiness with their work, their solution was to scare us into staying with their company, claiming 'our web traffic would suffer without their monthly maintenance of our site'. This is a total scam where they made sweeping promises they had no intention or ability to fulfill. We would like 75% of our money returned to us.

I have hired this company called Zeok for my website design. i have hired them on 18th january , today after more than a month i did not received any work from them, when i say any it literally means that. There is not a single text or even image change took place in last one month and they already charged me $800 or more. I did not sign a contract for services with zoek but gave them an initial down payment and setup fee which is not being refunded. I did not sign the contract because I did not like the terms but they are still holding on to setup fees and did not communicate with me during two during which time I had been sick in the hospital. When I called them to see if they had started on the project they said NO, because I had not signed the contract. I wanted a contract that was specific to my needs as I had stated. I need ALL my money back, there is no reason to give anyone $100 for talking on the phone with me as a client since they did no work there was no setup required, no contract signed. They make you make them an "administrator" of your website so they can then go in and review themselves. They discuss one price with you on the phone, and then you sign the papers, and suddenly months down the road after telling them you do not want the services they are not providing, they pull out a fake contract that says you agreed to spend $900 with them. I have had to have my bank issue refunds multiple times as they continue to charge me despite my discussions with them regarding their false business practices, fake signatures and reviews, and their failure to do anything at all that they said they would per their discussion on the phone, which conveniently they then won't write in the contract. It is imperative that this company be shut down. The complaints go beyond just those who have reported. There are many who reach out to me after I made a public review saying they had the same, if not worse, experiences, but they just haven't had the time or wanted to to deal with filing a complaint. This is disgusting business practice and it must be shut down as they are draining hundreds of thousands of dollars from small businesses just starting out with false promises and fake contracts.

Never use this company. Zoek was recommended through my web hosting company, Wix. My initial communication with them was in September. I am writing this at the end of January . I was promised a range of web development services, including a redesign of my site and SEO optimization. Since they are listed as a preferred Wix partner, I assumed that they were legitimate. After dutifully submitted a list of keywords to the account rep, nothing happened. After repeated requests and conversations and having spent nearly $3,000 I would warn any person considering this company. I am requesting a complete refund of all charges. If you are new to Zoek, save your money and work with a reputable firm that will deliver on what they promise and not steal your money and exhaust your patience. Because of this experience, I am also re-evaluating my relationship with Wix, since it is obvious that they do no quality control on the companies listed as preferred partners. Shame on them as well.

I secured the services of Zoek approximately 44 days ago. I was seeing on my webpage that it was not being worked on. I was inquiring as to where to find my webpage on *** , which is partly what they help with , as far as the position of my ad on ***. I was told that Zoek was a division of *** , who I purchased to build my webpage. Zoek , I was told , was a SEO company who worked with businesses to help position them on ***. I was unable to connect my Project manager initially and learned that he had left the company. I was assigned a second project manager to assist me with their services. I attempted to contact the second project manager and eventually found out that she had left the company. I am on my third project manager and have had little contact with her. No phonecall conversations except when I asked for a Supervisor. I spoke with Mandy ( supervisor) and was dismissed to the project manger via email with a note that all was set up with my account. After much research , I have found out from *** , that Zoek is not part of their business and *** itself has an SEO division. I have asked for a cancellation of my 6 month contract with Zoek due to neglect of my webpage , the inability to maintain project manager to communicate with and a lack of communication of what services they have accomplished in a way that a layperson can understand and over the phone. All communication except with the supervisor has been via email. No explanations of what services they have completed has been provided. I have found out today, that the wrong web page is published on ***. ?

As an added portion to their ecommerce package they also had SEO assistance. One of the requirements was that I provide access to my site to the program manager to be able to make the changes. I provided this access to the email address that they gave me. Two weeks later, I emailed to ask why I had not seen any changes to my site. The manager claimed that they did not get access to my site and asked me to provide it and then gave me a second email address to assign to the website so they could do the SEO portion right away. I revoked the first website then assigned the second email address. Then the changes were made. Today, I have emailed them again to ask them for an update on the redesign and ecommerce portion. The manager proceeded to tell me that they had not started and that they needed more information to begin the process. I have paid over $1000 and they have not started my project? The only reason that I have contracted with them was for the redesign and the ecommerce portion. The SEO was just an added boon. I have since requested a refund, however, this is unacceptable. Their customer service was terrible and did not communicate with me until I asked them for information. They are not doing the work that I contracted them for to begin with. The manager clearly is mismanaging my account if they cannot give me the right email to assign to make the changes I require. I talked to the representative from Zoek, who promised that I would receive social networking, where Zoek would increase and work my *** and ***, three to six blogs a month, google views and that I would get all the work on my web site. I did not receive this or increase in business they would do everything for free, fix it or refund my money. I paid for the services of 200 for the fee and another 200 for initial start up. The very first day, I was asked keywords for google search engine. I was dissatisfied immediately, saying to myself, isn't this what I hired them for." I was told by the person taking care of the account that I had to sign a contract for these services, I did, but I was also told that if services were not as stated, the contract would not be valid. This company reached out to me through *** after I put in a request for SEO. I had figured that since *** was the one that assigned me to them that they were reliable. After a month, they sent me the alert that phase one was complete and they wrote blog posts on my behalf for my site. When I looked at the posts in question, they were extremely poor quality, to the point where I assume (can ONLY assume, I can't claim for certain) that they either threw my site to a random freelancer or just threw together keywords without looking at my site. Most of the posts barely made any sense and one of them blatantly mischaracterized my site. I decided I could try to fix it myself and was going to approve it, and asked for only one small change. They did not get back to me, so I tried approving at which point the response was immediate. I decided to cancel. When I emailed to cancel, they told me I would have to pay another $300 to do so, per the contract. Then, the same day I made the complaint, I was charged another $150 to go into the next month with them. I ended up emailing them demanding to speak to someone about voiding the contract and asked if bad quality was justification to void it. They admitted it needed revisions and claimed they could fix the posts, but my issue with this company is that it seems their contract makes it so that they don't have to claim responsibility for any damage done to a site as a result of their work. After seeing the quality of the initial phase they completed for me and their efforts to trap customers in this contract (they essentially told me I'd might as well continue with them because I would have to pay them $300 regardless), I find their contract and their practices questionable and do not want them to have any access to my site. I will at least credit them that they did finally waive the contract fee, but they have still refused a refund despite what little work they've done for me being of extremely poor quality.

We hired Zoek to do our company's SEO on or about December 30. We signed a 6 month contract with them stating that they would immediately begin work on our account. We had 1 initial phone call with them and then trusted they would follow through with the next steps. After almost 2 months, when we did not hear one word from the company regarding progress, I reached out to them on or about February 19 or 20 when I was told by an employee named Tyler *** that our account had slipped through the cracks and not one person was working on our account up to that point. We were over 45 days into our contract then and NO work had been done besides that initial call which was pointless since no one followed through. We were guaranteed services which were not given to us and not one person at the company was monitoring our account or working on it. Tyler verified that we had lost, at that point, over a month and a half on our contract. We requested a phone call with a manager, and spoke to employee (Eric ***), and were then assured that from that point forward things would move quickly and work would be started on our account. After a week or two, we were told that we would need to approve changes on our website in order to proceed with the process. Upon checking the changes that were made, we realized that Zoek writers had plagiarized our initial website content. After telling our new account manager, Santiago S this information, he replied in a passive aggressive email that Zoek would NEVER do this and all content was original; he also stated that if they had copied anything from our original writing on the website it would HURT our ratings in google (why we hired the SEO) and not help it. I went back and took screenshots to prove that they had copied our original content and that we were blatantly LIED to by Santiago. At this point, it is over 66 days into our contract and NO WORK has been done on our SEO. They are in direct violation with our contract.

It’s ridiculous how trying to cancel a subscription will cost $150. It’s not labor intensive to cancel something, also the salesman never said anything about a charge for cancellation. Such predatory business behavior.
