Their website clearly states it is a $19.99 charge. Then 15 days later they charge additional $69.99 and they say you should have read the fine prints in the Terms and conditions.
They have no return address to send the products that made me really sick and they provide a phone number: [protected].
It takes 35 minutes for a live operator who tells you tough luck.
Snake oil salesmen did not repeatedly charge your credit card.
Do not provide your credit card or forever you get what you can not use and no place to return it to.
I'm thinking there may well be enough of us in England to start Court proceedings. Very scary, I've no legal experience and really don't need the stress, but I really don't see why this Company should get away with it.
SteveJC, which part of the World are you in, you seem very knowledgeable?
SteveJC Thank you for your advice, tho your comment reads slightly oddly. I am reluctant to message my email address on this site/
William1966, it's true, why should we return a trial product that we've paid good money for. I quite liked the little towelettes, they worked for me - but nowhere near £100's worth. Caused me more pain than my feet! This is just all wrong on so so many levels
To be fair, the sell-by date is 2/14 so can't get them on that one
Hi Bod' have replied to your message and you will understand my interest. - I cant see any court proceedings occurring here in the UK. I have provided information on the scam to 1&1 legal - who host all his websites - and they have replied to me saying that they wont act on closing down his sites.!
By my saying < message me here with your email address> I did not mean post it on the complaint thread - but by private message!
On Williams comment on not being £100 worth then the words on the websites like 70% below retail - that price is highly exaggerated, they have never been sold at the retail price suggested on the websites (as confirmed to me)
My knowledge is based on indepth review of his websites, and things like communicating with his office management company in Haslemere, (same UK address as used by Jesse Willms - google him!) and the same negative options payment scam. Gordon Banks agent (Gordon appeared in menshealthweeklyonline) about Gordon endorsing the product - no he doesnt!, identifying the false endorsements, etc, etc, and actually communicating with Robert Tallack and his replying -and blaming it all on his marketeers and generating buyer excitement. The first complaint I have found is the 3rd January 2012 and the last earlier today - so that is over 8 months of scam, scam, scam - and no one in any authoritative capacity seems to be concerned and taking any action to shut him down!
I have been scammed too, I did not see any T & C's and just thought that it was alone off purchase. Today I recieved a card from the post office to collect a parcel which needed customs duty and handling paid £ 18.24 and yes my account was charged £79.99 for the next shipment. I phoned the helpline number and hopefully managed to cancel future shipments but it was a battle and an overseas call. The stuff not that great and you can't really put it on when going to work or social life as super strong smell. Furious at the scam marketing
Apologies SteveJC, have got yr msge and replied, thanx
Jane, did you collect the parcel, if not then it would be up to the Sender to sort it out if yr in the UK. I hope you have stopped any future payments and SteveJC (see above) thinks we should be able to get our money back but it might be a fight. Good luck
Re a parcel for collection: it is probably being held for collection as there is an import tax to pay! Others have reported this tax at between 18 - 19UK pounds. One guy, having got the card saying there was a package awaiting collection, went to their office and they were prepared to tell him that the package was from Revive BioScience - so he told them he would not accept and walked out!
Whereas in the past when you (inadvertently) signed up for this auto-payment process then it was down to you to sort it out with the payee. That has now changed and banks MUST help, get involved, stop payments, start the claw-back process. Do ensure that your bank react proactively - the request you want to make to your bank is CHARGEBACK.
I have attached a couple of screenshots for anyone to use; one shows two testimonials; same words, same picture, names and location changed and the other is from menshealth... with Gordon Banks appearing to endorse the products - whereas I know that Gordon has never heard of them (I have asked him!) and so there is definitely no endorsement from Gordon.
I was in so much pain with arthritis that I stupidly thought this product would help. I am also a pensioner and ordered the trial bottle of their solution that they were advertising on the internet. I ordered on my credit card for £19.99 as a TRIAL bottle. These disgusting people have since taken two months of £79.99 from my credit card. I only realised this a few days ago as I had been away and had not seen my statements. They have taken nearly £160.00 from me and I have NOT even had these products that I have paid for. Fortunately I became aware of their SCAM when the Royal Mail in the UK left a card for me which stated there was a parcel for collecting with an £18.64 CUSTOMS CHARGE. I had no idea who this was from as I knew I had not ordered anything from abroad and thought perhaps a friend had sent a parcel to me. When I went to Royal Mail I still not know who this parcel was from and told them I hadn't ordered anything. I was advised not to accept this parcel not knowing what was in there or who sent it and I did not pay the customs charge so it has been sent back. I took down the address on the parcel and then went on the internet to find out who Revive Bioscience were through Google. It was only then I came across this site about complaints and realised I too had been conned. After reading all these stories I immediately checked my credit card statement and found two months of £79.99 had been taken illegally from my account. I have no goods and certainly was not even sent anything the first month and yet they have taken my money. I have contacted my bank and the card has been destroyed before they take anymore money from me. This product DOES NOT WORK so please do not order this, everything that has been said I totally agree with. DO NOT GIVE THEM CARD DETAILS. These crooks are taking from vulnerable people, many older ones who are in much pain looking for help, how disgusting is that. The credit card company are on to this and I too am going to report this to Trading Standards and report these people for such a scam. As someone who is involved in the media I shall make sure that newspapers are alerted to this as well as TV. Anyone who has a complaint should also contact their local and national newspapers to warn everyone about unethical trading like this. Time to stop these thieves, so they cannot carry on in business. Something must be done now and this product does not work and is a total rip off.
Having been scammed by 024 (my report earlier) has anyone come across ADVANCE7 which I have received a free sample. It is similar to 024 with less camphor smell, I am concerned that it may well be another scam otherwise where did they get my email address.
johnbee: assuming it is www.advance7online.com
I may be wrong but my first thoughts are do not trust it... why?
Note some of the dates - 2008; yet this website was only launched at the beginning of May which is of some concern:
Domain Name: ADVANCE7ONLINE.COM
Registrar: GODADDY.COM, LLC
Whois Server: whois.godaddy.com
Referral URL: http://registrar.godaddy.com
Name Server: NS.ADVANCE7ONLINE.COM

It also has the ..online in the web address which is similar to that of the 024 Pain Management scam - I am not saying it is a scam just pointing out the similarity.
There is a reference to a UK company - Aquil Ltd, THERE IS NO SUCH COMPANY REGISTERED WITH Companies House! BIG WARNING
As a website targeting UK then they should be stating their company address, use of cookies, terms and conditions, and their compliance to Distance Selling Regulations - none of this is visible - that I can see.
Would I buy from them - NO!
johnbee: just sent you a private message via the message system here.
Re Advance7: I have done a bit more research and I will not post further on their operation: save for this information regarding the payment site - it is not secured via https and the associated website privacy/security locks; it is open such that Advance7 will know all your payment details; the payment web-site went live on 13th May - so 2 weeks after the landing page site.
There is no website ownership information that I can find regarding the sites which would be of concern if providing payment details.
endof from me.
Wow sounds like an all around bad experience. However to see that they were willing to give you your money back says alot in my opinion. In the State of Texas you are sold a car as is and legally the dealer doesnt have to give you your money back. My problem is with CarFax. I had a similar experience that the Carfax report came back clean when I got it but 1 year later the carfax report showed 2 accidents and a mileage discrepency. The dealership I was working with offered me nothing. Very frustrated, but I cant be mad at them because they didnt know any of this, but because of the weight that Carfax carries, my car isnt worth half of what it should be. I wish the dealership I had went with would of offered me the deal you were offered!
Hi, me again. I've been unwell so haven't been able to follow things up as quickly as I would have liked.
Been to NatWest today, woman said if I handed over my card details then it's all my own fault and tough.
They've given me number for Fraud Department but said they won't be interested.
Am definitely going to ring Fraud Department and seriously looking at changing my Bank account.
Reviewing my Bank account more closely, have found that O24 have had 2 x £79.99 payments off me on top of the £19.99 trial offer. I have received, nor indeed want, anything further from them.
I am one very very very p'd off person
Bod: go back to bank. INSIST on seeing higher authority and keep saying "CHARGEBACK". Banks used to be able to say it's between you and them but no longer - they are obliged to help
Spoken to Fraud Department, they will not entertain 1st £79.99 payment, sending out a claim form for the 2nd one. Mentioned chargeback and negative option billing and they're having none of it
Have put in an application for another Bank. Service from NatWest has been appalling. They may or may not be able to help but a little bit of sympathy would have gone a long way - i've basically been told i'm a stupid cow.
Cheers NatWest - am leaving! xxxx
Bod: Nat West is owned by RBS; here's the Chief Exec's email:
Stephen.Hester@rbs.co.uk
Here's a link for you:
http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/sale-of-goods/your-rights-when-paying-by-credit-card/chargeback-on-credit-and-debit-cards/
Note the bit on going to the Financial Ombudsman if your claim is rejected by the bank .
Also note the ref to Section 75. It applies to credit payments of £100 or more but I am not sure if it can be applied to 2 or more payments which are under £100 but jointly add up to more than £100 - worth checking.
What some others have said is that by calling their UK 0800 number and telling the operator that you are reporting to the American and Canadian Authorities that they agree to giving you your money back.
Sorry for all the stress this must be causing you :-(
Just an update as information.
Robert Tallack, CEO of Revive BioScience has changed the company reference to 024 International Inc.
UK people will see the 0800 phone number and his new virtual address in the website information below.
http://www.o24worldwide.com
this is interesting as it is almost a copy of one of the scam sites. The browser tab references trial offer (which is how many people were caught by the billing scam) and we still see the - hurry, buy now whilst stocks last - type messages. But what is missing now is any reference to Revive BioScience and Robert Tallack as CEO and the comments that he made - so there appears to be an attempt to sever any references or association with him and Revive Bioscience with the financial scamming that has been taking place.
and a brand new one (to me)
http://024international.com
Take care
Like some people my original order made in May only arrived in July. I was charged in June for £19.99. I did not like the products as they did not relieve any of my sciatica or back pain. I received a customer care phone call and told them I did not want any of the products. In July they charged £79.99 and again in August. PLUS, they sent a pack from Sweden, where they might have relocated now, and not knowing what was on the pack I had to pay duties and admin charge of £18.12. Well I refused the pack and will try to get the duties paid refunded. A shameful scam. I spoke to my bank, the August payment will be returned because it has not gone thru yet. As I am covered for internet fraud on my card, my bank will also refund me of the £79.99 charged in July. based on the negative payment options scam mentioned above. And I will cancel my card to avoid any other attempts to charge anything on it.

don't be too rude!
just want to cry, got form to fill out from NatWest but looking at the questions I really don't see how i'm going to fight my corner. Steve JC i've got all your information, and someone earlier in blog said they'd complained to NatWest, but think I've lost nearly 3 weeks money. Not into physical violence but is there anyone I can thump - not that it would be very hard because I wouldn't have tried their products if I was fit and well! This company is despicable and I hope they don't sleep at night, but they probably will in their comfy homes. What goes around comes around - hope it gets them
ps, my brother is a uk postman. He says parcels that aren't collected can sit around for months before they are returned, then the company involved assumes the recipient has received them. So two choices, either leave parcel and assume company assumes it has been received or, collect parcel, pay 19quid and pay to send it back so they know you have rejected it. ha bloody ha
My email to Revive has been replied giving me a number where I could cancel my account: 0800.5335.368 customercare@allnaturalpainmanagement.com
I phoned them and instantly Amy was on the phone and agreed to refund both charges of £79.99 (she then sent three separate emails confirming everything) not without me stumping my feet and telling about the trading Standards investigation in Surrey and mentioning the name of Robert Tallack and finally asking how she could sleep at night knowing what her employer is doing to vulnerable people. For my bank the emails confirming the refund and closure of account is enough to have the money refunded even if Revive decide to change their mind.
@bod1708... I private messaged you a couple of weeks ago but have had nothing back - do you know that this board has a messaging system?
Follow the process posted by hampshirelivid and you may strike lucky.
Robert Tallack, CEO of Revive BioScience has now two more websites where the sales process is somewhat less aggressive than in the past; 024international.com and 024worldwide.com but one of then still has the words trial and that he can take money from your account because you have agree to their policies.
He has a relative on Facebook and I have messaged her with what he is doing. If you want to message her with a view to shaming Robert then send me a private message and I will provide the name.
Refunds of 2 x £79.99 confirmed on my statement, hooray! Step number one: email them, then phone the number above and politely reaffirm your dislike of their product. Confirm that you cancelled it via email and phone and that they must acknowledge the cancellation of your account and the refund of the debits in writing. Send all this info to your bank with copies of their emails, plus the messages above to substantiate your pledge and good luck!
Just rung no on hampshirelivid's post. After some heated debate they agreed to refund my money. She asked me to return the product and I explained there was no product to return. S'pose it's going to be a few days before I know if this works.
Try it folks - they can't fob us all off x
Oh, had an email saying money will be credited to my account, not holding my breath!
ps hampshirelivid, had already cancelled product by email and had confirmation back, but no sign of refund.
Have received refund for the 2nd payment - Hooray! Think i've lost rest of 1st payment tho as NatWest won't entertain it. Still, one refund is something
omg i was about to order from advance7 did a google search for it and came across this site, thanks guys youve saved me a lot of money and stress, now to find something legit to help the pain in my knees
Just to let you guys know that Robert Tallack, CEO of Revive Bioscience has recently changed the UK company business address. Just like the address that Robert Tallack was using in Haslemere, and told by the landlord to get out, he has taken another virtual address.
It is the same address that he has registered for 024 International and 024 Worldwide.
Here is the link: https://www.duedil.com/company/07839587/revive-bioscience-uk-limited and the address is:
1 Fetter Lane
London
EC4A 1BR
this has made my day :-) Shame that they did not take Robert Tallack, CEO of Revive Bioscience to task on the "negative option billing" aspect that so many here have suffered.
