#1 Cochran Automotive Bought a car from them, had the engine light come driving out of their lot.

I was told by the manager that they would stick with me till it was fixed and figured out because buying a car and having the light come on day 1 is absolutely unacceptable. After the problem not being fixed and them having my car for over a month and a half with three different times that it was dropped off to fix, the manager would not listen to me and told me he is washing his hands of my car, he told me it was not his problem and hung up on me. During our entire conversation he would interrupt me and say "You just don't get it" There was one employee that was kind to me, and the manager said that they should not have been, that they were out of line. I was told by the manager they would take care of it, and he clearly just said what he could to get me to take it somewhere else and stick me with a $1,000 dollar bill that they won't cover when I only did what they told me to do. Then to be insulted and not heard by the manager that is beyond horrible customer service. Do not deal with them.

Recommendation: Do not take them at what they say, I was told one thing and they did another.

My 20 year old son recently bought a used Audi S4 in Virginia, when he got it home it had a light on the dash so we took it to the Washington dealer; they had the car for over a month and in that time they never called my son to update him on the car, he had to chase them down to find out what was going on. Once they finally got the car fixed and put back together ($8500 later), they told him that some air ports would have to be fixed as well and that would cost another $1500, because they would have to pull the engine again - why not call him while engine was out and say this needs to be done and it will add another $300 or so to your ***?It still won't pass Emissions, and he was told that they cannot give him an exemption sticker, even though he spent way more than the PA required $150 to try to fix it. I feel like they are just trying to take advantage of a young kid, who was excited about his new car and is now totally disenfranchised with the Audi brand and #1 Cochran the same. This complaint is not about the amount of the time they had the car, but about the way they try to rip people off by trying to have them pay 2 times to have a car torn apart when if a phone call had been made while the car was apart and it could have been taken care of. This is a breach of trust and poor business practice! The worst part is that I was looking into investing in an Audi myself and will definitely not be dealing with Washington Audi and probably won't even look to the #1 Cochran family for any car in the future. Such a shame.

#1 Cochran Automotive If I could give them a minus I would

If I could give them a minus I would. Have been trying to resolve a issue for a registration for 6 months. Called the financial person 3 times. Blamed Dmv being behind. Called salesman once. Stopped in once. Called titled person twice. Comes down to the dealer did not fill out the paperwork right. *** was informed in March registration was rejected but didn't do anything til we finally stopped in on May 20th. After all the calls above. Still do not have our registration today. Dealer says it was processed yesterday"

What a waste of time! Seen a *** that I was looking for and put $500 down payment to hold. Car came damaged off of delivery truck. Was still willing to accept but heard crickets about what Was happening. This was definitely the worst car buying experience of all. Went to dealership didnt try to negotiate price was just willing to purchase. After crickets FRUSTRATION AND ARROGANT MANAGER! You know the type salesman has to go back to for pricing. Not once did I ask for a reduction In payment until nonsense of vehicle being damaged in transit. NOT MY PROBLEM!Will never deal with this dealership again. Oh yeah I will make sure acquaintances Will know.

#1 Cochran Automotive 1st off, Brandon the salesman has been great

1st off, Brandon the salesman has been great. Now, we purchased a 2021 Kia Seltos at the end of July. Shortly after receiving the car, we noticed a paint defect that was admittedly done by the detail dept. 1st repair attempt, removed touch up paint and claimed it was fixed. 2nd attempt, painted part wrong color and paint on the emblem. 3rd attempt was supposed to get new part swapped in place. Same part, just painted again. Now the rubber seal was missing between hood and still had paint on emblem. Returned to pick up again, mostly looked ok but still paint on the emblem. Pulled emblem and there is no paint under it. Another half__s paint job on a brand new car. Finally able to talk to a campus manager but was informed that was as high as I could contact. Customers are not able to contact the owner.

#1 Cochran Automotive Try to be quick here

Try to be quick here. Kia Optima was in accident; Insurance paid for repairs that were quite extensive; Car had issues from that moment with false accelerations, especially when turning left; also some fluid leaking into car. Took car back and collision center said they wanted the Cochran Service center to diagnose. They were supposed to call but never did. Anyway finally took car in and they analyzed everything but the main issue- I think they wanted to do a state inspection instead. They said needed new tires, brakes, and had a clogged AC line. I said what about the insurance issue. They took for quick test drive and problem did not occur. Then said I owed over $300 for diagnostics and repair, where nothing was authorized. I said it was the collision center who wanted the car diagnosed for the insurance claim. They would not release car until I paid. Oh- and the car had an extended warranty from the same dealer and they did not bother to use this. Never again- service or purchase

#1 Cochran Automotive Took vehicle in for two non significant repairs 1 Shift linkage 2 Smell of gas in cabin w/ check engine light

Took vehicle in for two non significant repairs 1 Shift linkage 2 Smell of gas in cabin w/ check engine light. Was charge 3 hrs total labor @ 120/hr 2 hrs for issue 1 1 hr for issue 2. Quote to repair was $1905 for issue 1 and 970 for issue 2. Seemed excessive so took to independent repair facility first for issue 1 they adjusted linkage for $149. Contacted VW service manager and was told VW has to replace entire assembly to warranty and offered to refund half of 2 hr diagnosis for issue 1 hard to argue with that one since I dont know VW corporate requirements so I agreed. Obviously concerned with price gouging I took vehicle back to independent for issue two which was gas tank vacuum line. Independent facility repaired it in 2 hours for $234.51. I was told by service manager my VW technician was a 20 year veteran "Master" technician. The quote for issue 2 was $94 parts and 7.3 hrs of labor. Cannot not rationalize what the other 5.3 hrs of labor is for other than textbook price gouging.

#1 Cochran Automotive I bought a used Buick Regal

I bought a used Buick Regal. Was assured very dependable and no issues with car. Sales manager was very good at selling what later turned to be he was just trying to make a sale. I have had nothing but trouble with the car. Even took it back to them under the 1000 mile guarantee as it had an oil consumption. Problem. Dealer told me it was basically my problem. I finally got them to agree to do oil consumption test as I made them aware of problem within 1000 mile warranty period. Took car back three times as directed during consumption testing and at end was told it was normal for the car to use2 to 3 quarts of oil every 1000 miles so they would not fix problem. Car is ess than 6 months old and i have already had to put in multiple quarts of oil but have also had to replace power steering pump and belt. #1 cochran has done nothing to help and i still owe $9000 on car. I would highly recommend not using this dealer to purchase a car. They basically told me to go away and now I have a car I cant use nor afford to pay off so it just sits

#1 Cochran Automotive I will never purchase another car from Cochran

I will never purchase another car from Cochran. They are dishonest and have zero interest in hearing from their customers. We dropped our 2019 VW Jetta off at the South Hills VW dealership yesterday morning for a primary complaint of a remote start system failure. Not only was the vehicle not completed yesterday, it took them until today at 2pm to call us with an update. The update provided by Kayla, the "service advisor," who was terrible yesterday, provided me was that it still wasn't functional and wouldn't be because VW needs to provide an update. This is flat out untrue. I asked immediately to speak to Justin, the Service Manager. After waiting on hold for a few minutes, she hung up on me. I called the dealership back, this time talking to Mark, another service advisor. I asked at first for Justin but was told he was off today. Mark couldn't find where any work had been completed on my vehicle and rudely told me to call VW with complaints about software. In the meantime, Justin called me back. MIRACULOUSLY, the remote start was working and I could come get the vehicle. He didn't understand why Kayla had told me it wasn't and also didn't understand why Mark told me he was off. It's clear me -- they lie and are told to. When I asked to speak to Mark's boss, I was given 3 names, and no phone numbers. Cochran doesn't care about its customers, so I recommend finding a VW dealer who does. We won't be going back. I tried reaching out to one of his 3 bosses, and no one has called me back. They're a lousy organization who just looks out for $$. Don't waste your time.

#1 Cochran Automotive The service at the dealership is a scam, and discriminative

The service at the dealership is a scam, and discriminative. I bought my 2013 VW CC Lux with low mileage because the engine light came on June 3. Prior to that, my car had no issues. They said it was a misfire and my coils needed replacement. They replaced all four coils for over $900.00. The dealership claimed a complete diagnostic was done and everything looked good. Two weeks later, my headlight bulb needed replacement. No check engine light issues at this time, but my brake warning light/sensor was the problem. When they returned my car, the bulb was on the car seat and the dealership informed me that someone tried to remove it and busted the entire headlight assembly. I confronted them, as they are the only ones who work on my car, about who broke it. They quoted me $2869.75 for the repair. During the same visit, the dealership said I needed new tires and other services. I got what I could afford, but before I left, and after I paid, my check engine light was on again. I returned on June 19, for the check engine light issue. The dealership tells me it's my fuel injector causing my engine light and sensors to be on. My car wasn't running poorly until they touched it. I trusted them as experts. Fast forward, I had the fuel injector, brakes, headlight assembly, and other recommended repairs done, including more tires, brakes, hoses, pumps, etc., because they said my tires and rims were broken. I paid $3400.00. I put the car in on 7/6; they had my car for 45 days. I couldn't reach anyone. I got my car back on 8/22, only after speaking to the manager. The dealership tried to charge me $4500.00 for things I had already done and paid for. They assured me they did a full diagnostic and that my car was in better shape than before. During the payment process in August , the manager told me my car was under warranty for the work done for 12 months. On 12/31, my engine light started flickering, the car shook and stalled while driving on the highway. I made an appointment for 1/3/2022; after 1 1/2 hours, they tell me it was my timing belt and it would cost $7333.67. I've had work done based on their recommendations, thinking they were honest experts. Less than 6 months later, my car is in worse shape and more damaged than before. Not to mention, I had a brand new discontinued $250.00 spare tire that they can't seem to find either, and my sensor lights are still on. With all the money and time I've spent, they took advantage because I'm a woman and they think I'm naive. I will be contacting the consumer protection office and filing investigation reports. It makes no sense how they scam people out of their hard-earned money to line their pockets, by jacking up the cost of the damage they cause.

#1 Cochran Automotive Started well and ended badly

Started well and ended badly. On Monday April 12 I made contact with a sales man (Victor) from the South Hills Hyandai dealership, I believe. He had been helpful on my prior search for a vehical over the phone with advice on my trade in value and getting myself to a place where I was ready to move forward. I contacted him here a year later to begin the process, although we had never met in person. Everything started well. I completed an application, picked a vehical, credit check, sent pictures of my trade in, I agreed to $3000 down, a monthly payment estimate was given, the trade in was accepted and valued, and the process was going well. Everything was submitted to the finance department and I awaited a call or email form Mr. R. F On April 13, at 7:30ish p.m. I recieved both emails and text messages to "check out your updated offer!" It was the vehical (2019 Tuscon Limited, black on black) I wanted with everything included and a monthly payment cut to half the amount ($210 per month). Of course I was happy and replied to both the text messages and emails that I would accept the offer. The next day, I found myself needing to send screen shots of the emails and text to the agent because he stated he had no idea who sent the offers. He had informed me days prior that he would be off work for a day and to email Mr. F for updates, so I assumed it was him. When I emailed Mr. Fr*** he said he knew nothing and that I should contact Victor. When I contacted Victor, he sent me to Mr. Fr*** The back and forth became annoying and I was made to feel as if some how I had done something wrong by believing the offers sent to me were actually real! Again, I was sent back and forth between the two men with no real answers as to what was happening with the deal... Jump to the 19th of April, I still had not heard anything, so I text Victor to ask what was going on. "Am I still a customer?" He replied he still had not heard anything from Rober F I also emailed Mr. F on April 20...to date my email still says, "Sent six days ago. Dismiss nudge?" No one said a word to me. When I finally hear from Victor, he said it was a financing issue. I have never had a 10 day finance issue when trying to purchase a car. At the most a full day of processing, but never 10 days. I have never not walked off the lot in 1 day without a car. By April 21, I felt totally disrespected as a customer and wanted to move on. I am building my credit and have made great strides to get it where it is. To move on to another dealer after having #1 Cochran make numerous enquiries on my credit report would only make things worse. So, I tried to work with the them and stay. I expressed my desire to file a complaint with there headquarters, shared my displeasure in the process, and move on. Later that day I recieved a call from Victor that the car I wanted was no longer available. I was upset and felt the whole process unfair. However, I tried working with them again to aviod more credit inquiries. Victor informed me that they had found a financer (with I believe Genesis was the name), so choosing another car would move the process along faster. On April 23, I viewed and chose another vehical (2018 Hynudia Tuscon (I believe), and asked a question about the payment going back up to $470ish on a 2018, when the last deal for a 2019 was for $210. I was told by Victor that it was a higher interest rate on the 2018. I then asked him to speak to finance to try to get the payment lower, but was willing to trust the word of the dealer which ever way it went. I did not recieve a response. On April 24, I texted Victor to inform him that I would be moving on. Two weeks of waiting was long enough. I have since talked to other car dealers who have made faster and more financially effiecient offers to me. I am shocked at the way I was treated and to date never recieved a reply from anyone at Cochran. Not even a thank you. No one followed up. Rather financing was tough to find or not, you don't treat customers this way. I will NEVER shop or recommend Cochran (any location) again.

#1 Cochran Automotive My 2014 Kia Optima Hybrid broke down in November

My 2014 Kia Optima Hybrid broke down in November. I had it towed to the Robinson Cochran Kia. Found out it was covered by my warranty. Took them 2 months to correct the problem. I had to wait 2 weeks into that waiting period for them to get me a rental from Enterprise. The stopped payment on my rental on Dec 22nd after telling my husband, in person when he went there to ask about the car, that it was still being worked on. I had to pay $583 to have my car towed and $550 to pay from Dec 22nd to Jan 4 when I picked up my car. After picking up my car, the following day I was leaving for work in Harrisburg from Pittsburgh and my battery was dead. They claimed that it couldn't be proven that it died on their property. I had bought it from them 3 years earlier and the warranty had just ran out. So I had to buy another battery that cost $280. Wednesday, Jan 5th, I was driving back to Harrisburg and my car broke down again with the same warning on my dashboard, I was only 5 miles onto the turnpike and had to get my car towed again back to Cochran Robinson Kia. Now they cannot tell me when I'll get it back because Kia Corp Office hasn't made up their mind to what they plan to do. I had to miss 2 days of work because of the breakdown. I want my car back fixed properly this time, reimbursed for towing x 2, my battery and a rental car until its completed so I can make it to my job.

I had recalls done on my car and they said I needed a break fluid change I paid them they did it. I then got my car back with my check engine light on and I've called them many times and left voicemails and I'm not hearing anything g back they said drive it 50 miles it will go off. I did it's still on. I personally know a couple lot attendants that work there. They keep telling them they weren't under my hood to cause an intake air leak which is what my check engine light says. How weren't they under my hood if they changed my brake fluid.

#1 Cochran Automotive I bought a vehicle from #1 Cochran, it was a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe with minimal miles (11k)

I bought a vehicle from #1 Cochran, it was a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe with minimal miles (11k). It was toward the end of the day and I wanted to be able to take the car home and purchase it that day so, I did not do a test drive first. I do the paper work and finance the car, during this process I put $2,000 down and financed the rest. I was previously told that their return policy was within 72 hours (or 3 days and within 150 mils) you may return said vehicle. That in mind I felt comfortable to purchase because I have somewhat of a safety net for issues. Once the deal is done I am handed the keys and sent on my way as the last customer of the day. However, as soon as I drive the car off the lot I realize that there are issues with the car. When I speed up and brake the steering wheel shakes and the car is very jerky like they sold me somewhat of a lemon. After some thought I decide I do not want this car anymore and contact the dealership telling them as such the very next morning. I tell them I am returning the car and ask what are my options on getting another car. They say I can return however I will not get refunded the document fees related to the sale. I agree and make an appointment to return this car however, when I get there they say I am not getting a refund for the taxes paid on the car. I would like to note that the taxes on this car is $1,803. This is where my issues is currently at, they are trying to say that I am responsible for taxes paid on a vehicle that I have returned and have not own for more than two days.

I went to look at some new vehicles at this location over the weekend (Sat. August 27, 2022) and had a really positive experience with the salesperson I was working with. However, when they appraised my trade in, the manager had informed me my moon-roof shade/headliner was broken during the appraisal. It was not broken prior, and they offered no rectification for this other than telling me that my appraisal value was "before it was broken". The moon-roof shade was draping/falling out from the glass over the entire back seat, as well as part of the driver's seat, completely blocking the rear view mirror and causing a safety issue. The manager suggested "[trying] to pin it up" as the service team was gone for the day, he instead completely removed the shade altogether (which will cost anywhere from $500-$2000 to fix if I don't buy another car, not to mention depreciating my car's value). The photos included were taken after it was pulled down by the manager, and that is how I have had to drive my car since then. It seemed to me that they don't care very much for making sales work or taking care of customers. Truly a shame as I work in retail and customer service, and I know what I would do in this situation. I feel the least they can do for me is offer to fix the damage they caused to my vehicle, as they admitted to me that they broke it.

The car was very unsafe to drive in the first week of August.. The emergency service technician sent by the AAA told me the car needed to have the brakes fixed.. Since it was a Subaru Impreza I assumed that a Subaru dealer and repair shop would be able to handle the repairs. and diagnose most effectively. Incidentally the address/and phone number is slightly different than the sales department. 4515 William Penn Hgwy as well as the mileage on the odometer The Service Dept is closer to 100.000 than 192,011. When he sent me the receipt of over $3400 dollars to repair the car I told him that I sent an offer for the lien holder to back the repairs. When the lien holder ignored me I asked that I wanted them to return my car. So far they have just kept my car.

Dealer ran my credit without my authorization. My salesperson Jaicob assured me he would confirm with me first before anyone ran my credit. General manager told me he would talk to his finance manager. Never heard back from either. I have email proof between me and Jaicob specifically telling him to NOT run my credit. I have left a voicemail for the finance manager and I have no heard back from either Jaicob, the finance manager, or the general manager. Jaicob is now ignoring my emails. Do not do business with this incompetent dealership.

#1 Cochran Automotive I purchased a vehicle from Cochran Monroeville on 8/26

I purchased a vehicle from Cochran Monroeville on 8/26. I purchased an extended warranty with the vehicle. When I received the paperwork for the warranty I noticed that my name was spelled incorrectly on the warranty. I was concerned that this would be an issue if I ever needed to use the warranty. I contacted the warranty company and was advised that I needed to contact the business that sold the warranty to me, they would have to correct the misspelled name. I contacted Harry G, the sales representative I had dealt with. He stated he would speak to Eugene, the representative who handled the paperwork for the sale. Eugene is the individual who actually presented the extended warranty to me and sold it to me. After a couple days and no response, I called the dealership and was transferred to Eugene's voicemail. Still I received no response. Then I called the dealership and was transferred to the voicemail of the "sales manager" ( I did not get a name at that time). I left another voicemail and no response. This all took place in September or October. I became frustrated and did not act on the issue for several months. In early March , I took my car into the dealership for service. I spoke to the sales manager, Dale T about the issue. Dale assured me he would look into the issue and would respond to me within a couple days, no more than a week. The week went by and there was no response from Dale. I emailed him, and left a voicemail for him. Now it is a month later and I have not heard anything regarding this issue from anyone at the dealership.

#1 Cochran Automotive I own a 2018 Nissan Leaf

I own a 2018 Nissan Leaf. I was having a lot of issues with the battery rapidly dropping charge while driving on colder days, and at one point went from 50% to 0% in 30 seconds and completely shut down on the highway with my whole family in the car. After dropping it off at the dealer the second time, and talking with Nissan Cooperate, they finally did some more investigation and found that the lithium battery needed replaced. The loaner vehicle they gave me was a gas car and I asked Nissan about getting the fuel reimbursed since I charge 100% at my work for free which is the main reason I purchased an electric car. She advised that under these circumstances she thinks that they would cover the fuel expenses and advised me to save all receipts. It took over 2 months to get my car back and when I questioned about the fuel reimbursement process, I was told I would have to work it out with the dealership that did the work since they did not provide a loaner electric vehicle. This was not mentioned earlier or I would have discussed it with the dealership as well. This is extremely frustrating because I was under the assumption this would be taken care of promptly and therefore was not as worried that it took over 2 months to get my car back. I also had to swap loaner vehicles halfway through the repair (which also had no gas in the second vehicle and I had to fill it up!) There's no reason I should have had to go through this repair to begin with, but this is really frustrating that I am currently stuck with over $560 worth of fuel costs! I have contacted Cody at the dealership 4 times about this dating back to May 13, and provided all receipts and have not heard anything back yet. Please make this right.

I bought my 2015 Hyundai Sonata the day after Thanksgiving, 2021. Since then they had it for 2 months to fix a paint issue, then they had it for another month to replace the motor in June 2022. I had it back for 2 weeks and it is broke down AGAIN. They told me that it was part of the fuel system and that it would be another $600 to repair as they used the old parts from my old motor and now it isn't covered. I have owned this vehicle for 8 1/2 months and out of that time it has been in the shop for 4 of those months but yet I am responsible for the payments on a vehicle that I cannot drive.

We purchased a 2009 Pontiac vibe on June 27, 2022, the dealership had stated they completed the state emissions and inspection and the car had passed as of May 14th 2022. The car was reported to be at 94,958 miles at that time.. We purchased the car around 95,000 miles. on July 7 2022 it started leaking oil excessively. It was taken to a Monroe muffler. The mileage was reported at 95, 415 . The mechanic stated it should have never passed inspection. They stated the car Had an exhaust leak, needed front lower ball joints (right and left), the valve cover gasket had to be replaced which already cost us $478$. And there is an issue with the rear subframe control arm. I had contacted Cochran Volkswagen. Left messages and I returned the call again today July 14, 2022 And finally spoke with the general manager who stated the car was purchased as is and they were not willing to do anything further.I have the reports available from Monro auto service dating July 7.2022 Which reflects the multiple issues the car had. We are only requesting # 1 Cochran to be make the necessary repairs for the car T o pass inspection and emissions at another site . As it was #1 Cochran Who stated the car passed inspection on May 14th At 12:56 PM and we believe they falsified documentation at that time.

#1 Cochran Automotive I live in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and I went to Pittsburgh in mid-June

I live in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and I went to Pittsburgh in mid-June. One day, I could not start my Nissan Versa 2012. The #1 Cochran Nissan Cranberry service centre diagnosed the battery issue. I paid 375.96 USD (June 21-2022) for the battery replacement, only to discover an hour later that the vehicle would not start. I recorded a video to document it. The next day, I brought the car back and showed them the video. That time, they diagnosed an intermittent failure in the NATS system and concluded that its antenna needed replacement and the keys reprogramming. I asked them why they changed the battery if the problem was elsewhere. They said the battery was low and needed replacement and that they now found the abovementioned issues. They said I should be able to drive home to Canada and be prepared for the intermittent failure with starting the engine. Upon returning home, I emailed a copy of the diagnostics report to my local Nissan service centre. They asked if I wanted another diagnostics or to go ahead with the replacement of the parts as indicated by their American colleagues. I decided there was no need to spend the money on something that another Nissan centre had already done and authorized the replacement of the antenna with the immobilizer and reprogramming of the keys. I paid 418.07 CAD for the work. As in Groundhog Day, the vehicle failed to start the same evening I got it back from the service centre. I wasted money on unnecessary work based on the diagnostics done by the Nissan centre in Cranberry. I replaced parts that did not need replacement. I have to pay for another diagnostic this week, and I have already spent around $1000 CAD for nothing, thanks to the #1 Cochran Nissan Cranberry. I would like, at minimum, to get a refund for the replacement of the antenna with an immobilizer (418.07 CAD = 322.19 USD ) and another diagnostic (147 CAD = 113.27) to the total amount of 435.46 USD. I have all the receipts to prove my case.

#1 Cochran Automotive I purchased a 2017 BMW M240I from Cochran Buick GMC of Robinson

I purchased a 2017 BMW M240I from Cochran Buick GMC of Robinson. Back on 01/06/2022 Feb 9th while taking my daughter to the Dr, My car started smoking really bad, that lead to a $6500 bill to have my car fixed. No one at the dealership informed me that my car came with a warranty. The Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) Used Car Rule requires dealers to post a Buyers Guide in every used car they offer for sale. This includes light-duty vans, light-duty trucks, demonstrators, and program cars. Demonstrators are new cars that have not been owned, leased, or used as rentals, but have been driven by dealer staff. Program cars are low-mileage, current-model-year vehicles returned from short-term leases or rentals. Buyers Guides do not have to be posted on motorcycles and most recreational vehicles. Anyone who sells less than six cars a year doesn't have to post a Buyers Guide. The Buyers Guide must tell you: whether the vehicle is being sold "as is" or with a warranty; what percentage of the repair costs a dealer will pay under the warranty; that spoken promises are difficult to enforce; to get all promises in writing; to keep the Buyers Guide for reference after the sale; the major mechanical and electrical systems on the car, including some of the major problems you should look out for; and to ask to have the car inspected by an independent mechanic before you buy. The Eccentric shaft failed on car and I believe the car was sold to me with this issue. I have repeatedly sent emails to Jason K to help me. Easy Care has denied the claim stating I "might" have caused this. In fact this was done during assembly at BMW plant. If I am to be on the hook for a $6500 bill I demand that Cochran prove under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, That the failure was done by me are anything I did to the car. My Desired Resolution is to have my car fixed at no cost to me. Under Fed law ( as stated above) they failed to provide me with the knowledge of my car having a warranty.

#1 Cochran Automotive My son took my Subaru Forester to this dealership on 2/11/22 for a coolant leak concern

My son took my Subaru Forester to this dealership on 2/11/22 for a coolant leak concern. The issue was was diagnosed and repairs were completed along with some other dealer recommended services. After some time of driving my son started to hear a squeak sound from the engine area. Over the next few days the squeak became more prominent and easier to duplicate. He returned the vehicle to the dealership on 3/11/22 to have it looked at. The technician identified the squeak that was demonstrated coming from the rear brakes and we were told the rear pads and rotors needed to be replaced. The work was okayed since they are the experts and I myself am in North Carolina and not able to deal with this face to face. After I got the repair order copy I saw that the complaint for this return visit was not documented properly which was strange, we had no reason to request the rear brakes be checked. The work was paid for and my son left the dealership but informed me right away that the squeak was still there. I called the advisor immediately to let her know and was informed that the technician was already gone but that she would contact my son to arrange to get the vehicle back. At that point I requested to have the parts saved for my son to inspect when he returned since rear pads and rotors had been replaced only 15,000 miles earlier. She said she would put a note on them. Vehicle was returned to dealership on 3/14/22. My son requested to see the brake parts that had been replaced but was told the cleaning crew threw them out. Seems odd that brake rotors would be thrown in the trash. I do believe that repair shops are required to return replaced parts when requested. In fact isn't the repair shop required to advise a customer of their right to have the old parts returned to them? They said they found a heart shield loose and it tightened. My son confirmed repair. I finally was able to speak with the advisor on 3/17 to see what would be down about the uneccesary brake charge.

I purchased a "2016" Chevy Trax on 4/20 and at the time of purchase I also added on an extended warranty that was good for four years which included another perk . The perk which happened to be four complimentary oil changes. However when I took my car to have the initial oil changed I was not charged, but when I went a second time I had to pay because due to the gentleman at the service center told me that he did not have any record of the free service that I was supposed to receive. Not only did he not check with the sales area to verify at which time would have made sense to do but I ended up paying out of pocket for what was supposed to be complimentary. When I sent my car to have and oil change the next after going back a forth about the perks that I never received and contacting the sales area who now said I was entitled to only three oil changes made the gentleman(Bryan) aware of what I was due finally said to bring in my car for the oil change and in the future to call ahead and schedule with him to set it up. Which I did and sent my son to do it because I had a fractured ankle and could not walk. In the meantime my car was serviced by someone named Ron but the tires were never rotated. I contacted Bryan and made him aware of the tires not being rotated and he directed me back to Ron who was the advisor that handled my car. So I called and left a message but got no response. So I texted him and inquired about no tire rotation because it was not listed on my invoice and asked him if this is not a service that's done automatically when you get an oil change? Also inquired why my vehicle did not get the same service as other customers? His response was "in all caps" , an oil change is what was asked for and that is what was done and it is not done automatically but if I would like to come in I can have my tires rotated at no charge. So in order not to go back and forth with him about it because he knows that he was wrong. I just said okay, thank you because tire rotations come with an oil change everywhere else, and left it alone . I'm submitting this complaint because I can't understand why after purchasing my car over a year and a half ago why my information is not on file yet? First the oil change and now the protection plan under my extended warranty. Now that I need to use it it's not on file but I have the service contract. After calling the1-800# I again was told they have no record of my information and I needed to contact the sales area where I originally made the purchase. The manager in the sales area apologized and told me to bring my car there on Monday to get it serviced, which I am glad to do .But don't get me wrong. I really like #1Cochran which is where I will always go to purchase my vehicles but I believe somebody really dropped the ball . And It is very frustrating to keep going around in circles just to utilize a service that you know that you should have . With all that being said, the way that Ron texted me in all caps was not appreciated and he needs to have better customer service etiquette. Because why are upset with me because you did not do your job and I called you on it? Really.

#1 Cochran Automotive On Saturday, August 1st I purchased a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum

On Saturday, August 1st I purchased a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum. When I took the vehicle for a test drive the tire pressure sensor tripped off. I informed the sales man that was working with me (Chad) about the issue and he assured me they would put air in the tire before I left the lot with the car. That part they did, the tire pressure sensor was off, and I was on my way. One week later, on Saturday, August 8th the tire pressure sensor came back on, and I reached out to the sales person in regards to this (Chad). He informed me that it was probably a matter of the rims not put back on the tire right and to bring it back down so they can make it right. I put air in the tire, drove it down to the lot (60 mile drive from Mercer, PA), waited for 3 hours, and got told there was nothing wrong. I was told by the service employee if this happens again, to not put any air in the tire, drive it right down to them, and let them take a look at it while the issue is happening. I agree to this though I was VERY annoyed given I just drove 60 miles to get told nothing is wrong / we've been having "hot days" that could cause the tire pressure to drop 15 PSI in a week. I agreed to this and just let it go as I have more important things to worry about in my life then a simple issues. On Friday, August 14th on the way to the store with my family, the sensor went off yet again. So, I detoured with family in tow straight to the dealership with the hopes of one and for all putting an end to this. This time I went directly to the service manager and didn't turn the car off nor did I put air in the tire. The service manager saw the issue and assured me they would figure out what was going on. Low and behold, after two hours of waiting, I'm told "we can't find anything wrong with it" in which I replied, "well, i'm not crazy and you guys see the issue." He agreed with me, threw his hands in the air, and sent me out the door after putting air in the tires yet again. At this point, i'm beyond pissed because I bought this car 2 weeks ago, that has this limited warranty, and felt pretty good with my purchase until this tire pressure sensor situation came up. Yet again, I let it go thinking maybe this will resolve itself and again I have more important things to worry about + the cost of driving down 60 miles and back vs just dealing with this sensor issue... Long story short, I was tired, fustrated, and very off put so I took the high road and let it be. Today, August 17th, the tire pressure sensor goes off YET AGAIN, and I'm in need of air. I DO NOT want to go to the dealer to get told "tuff luck" and waste my timing sitting here but I also want this issue resolved. I think it's very inexcusable to sit here and tell me "we don't know what's wrong" and send me out the door especially after I spent 1 1/2 hours driving down to your dealership each way attempting to get an issue resolved. This is getting to be quite crazy and the fact that two techs sit here and tell me "I don't know what's wrong" then proceed to send me on my way instead of saying, "you know what, let's get you some new tires given YOU JUST BOUGHT THE CAR FROM US!" I played ball with you guys twice now and ate 3 hours of my day trying to do the right thing/be the nice guy in the situation but i'm getting jerked around.

#1 Cochran Automotive When I bought my 2017 Kia Sorento from #1 Cochran Kia in Robinson Twp Pa, it was a very good experience; the sale was perfect and I got the car

When I bought my 2017 Kia Sorento from #1 Cochran Kia in Robinson Twp Pa, it was a very good experience; the sale was perfect and I got the car I wanted but things didn't go so well a few months after. I was driving to work when my engine light came on. The car started to shut down and white smoke came out of my tailpipe. I had the car towed to the dealership and was told they did not know what was wrong with it. The guy on the phone said some computer told him to move some components around. Basically they never fixed the car but just made the engine light go off. I told him again about the white smoke out of the tailpipe and he ignored my concerns. Since then, I have been missing oil from my car but not leaking any. Every time I took the car to dealership, I told them about the missing oil. I was completely ignored. There was no offer to leave the car with them to do any testing. In December (car still under warranty) I took the car back to the shop because it started shutting down again with the white smoke. I used my code reader and it told me there was a misfire and code that started with a P. Again, I told them about the white smoke as well as the two codes. I was told I needed new spark plugs and that's why I had the misfire. I asked about the other code and he said there wasn't any. I told him there were two and was blown off again. In October, I took the car into the shop for one of the service packages that were online and a coolant change. The package included, both cabin and engine filter change as well as a tire rotation. I put in the note box to have the coolant changed and to find out what's going on with the oil. When I checked in the car the guy mentioned the coolant change and tire rotation. I asked about the missing oil and he said he didn't know about that. How did he know about the coolant change and not the oil issue? it was in the same note. BTW, they did not change the engine and cabin filters. I did the engine one myself. Now it's Halloween and the car shut down again with the white smoke. I dropped off the car and waited a couple of days to get a call. Ben called and said I needed to have my fuel injectors replaced with a cost of $2447 but had to order the parts. I didn't hear anything back so I went to the dealership to see what was going on. I was then told I needed a new engine. How did it go from fuel injectors to injectors and engine $8700. After waiting two weeks to hear if Kia would cover the cost of the engine, I was told no because I'm at 107k miles. I was under warranty when I was complaining about the missing oil. My car is still there waiting on the engine. I told the guy on the phone, I can't pick up the car until the first week in December because instead of $2447 which wasn't a problem, it's now $8700. That will take a little bit more time to come up with. Being a veteran and knowing how integrity is above all else, I'm feeling as if I have been lied to on multiple occasions. Maybe the color of my skin is the reason that I have been ignored so many times. Yes, that still happens. I am aware of the recalls on the engines but I feel your dealership chose not to make things right. Ben had told me HQ wanted more testing and pictures before making the decision. If they were going to deny the recall because of my mileage, that could have happened right away. They wouldn't need more info. So what really went on with my car? Did the service department damage the engine? I have lost all confidence in Kia. This is my second Kia and I love the cars but my experience with that dealership has left me with a sour taste. Oh when I asked if your HQ knew about the first time I brought the car in, the guy(not Ben) paused then said they know the service record. The pause makes me think he either doesn't know, or just lied.
