Buyer beware
Buyer beware. They will act like they're up front about the extra things they claimed they put on every cars. The sales person will go over the pamphlet and it's over $4400 value. He even told us that the car been there for a while and the manager while probably discount it. No proof that they put everything on the car. I can see them putting the GPS system in the cars just in case someone steal the car. If you look at the tags on the cars, they put a tag that says extra add-ons $2680. When the manager eventually came by. I notice the extra charge was on the invoice. When I asked the manager regarding that. They claimed they discounted it to $2689. When I continue questioning that and told them I'm not paying for something they on the car to protect themselves. He just dances around it. So, I got frustrated and walked.

The used car guys are extremely unethical
The used car guys are extremely unethical. They jacked us around for 3 days on a used car when trying to get an independent inspection of the vehicle. Finally completed the inspection and got to the final appointment after driving 180 miles round trip twice in 3 days. Had us sit around for 1.5 hours in spite of having an appointment, while they called their leads on the car which I know because they called me as I was sitting there waiting, then told us it would be a couple more hours due limited staff. I told them we were going to get dinner because my family was hungry and call me when they were ready. We did not hear from them so we went back an hour later when they claimed they sold the car. I am a businessman and have bought many cars in my lifetime. This is one of the worst business transactions I have ever experienced.

All of the comments about Huntington Beach Jeep not honoring their advertised price are true. They have almost $5,000 in added features such as vehicle tracking, paint protection, door handle protection blah, blah, blah...and they are not willing to take these items off. Their response that they "do not require the purchase of dealer add-ons, they are always optional" is a complete lie. I was there two weeks ago and was told that they were mandatory charges. I left, of course, without buying the car. I would put zero stars but the ComplaintsBoard.com website makes you put at least one star.
WOW! Should have come to ComplaintsBoard.com first!
WOW! Should have come to ComplaintsBoard.com first! Never cease to be amazed at how such scum can still keep their business running with such horrible business practices. We have never had to deal with such dishonesty before. Even from a car salesman! Ha! We were mislead over the phone that the pricing was correct as what was advertised. We confirmed this SEVERAL times as I had to drive from Temecula to HB. Once I got there, I found that was not the case. There were numerous discounts I suddenly didn't qualify for. The price then went from $38,000 to over $50,000. The salesman we spoke to prior to me taking an hour out of my time to get to their location admitted they had troubles with that in the past and he couldn't talk pricing or anything over the phone. Richard and John should be ashamed of themselves for employing themselves in such a corrupt company. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. Their fraudulent & unethical business practices will be reported to the FTC as well.

They never, ever, ever, ever answer the phone for any department other than sales
They never, ever, ever, ever answer the phone for any department other than sales. It's been 6 months since I purchased my vehicle and I now live 12 hours away, so I can't go into their business to get any resolution. Read your contracts carefully. They will literally do anything to stack on "dealer add-ons" even if you tell them it is illegal to force you to purchase them. Even after we argued this point, and they agreed to take them off, the contract was absolutely littered with extras. 2 months later I get a call from the finance manager accusing me of not paying my down payment. I had to submit a bank statement so that they wouldn't repossess my vehicle. 6 months later and I STILL DON'T HAVE MY PLATES FROM THE DMV. The DMV told me that the dealer never submitted the paperwork, and the dealer refuses to answer the phone to verify. Also I just tried to get a key replacement and the 3rd party warranty administrator told me that the dealer NEVER SUBMITTED THE WARRANTY TO THEM. They just pocketed my money, and guess what? THE DEALER DOES. NOT. ANSWER. THE. PHONE.

Everything you see here about the infamous PRO PACK is true. Classic bait-and-switch, slight of hand dealership. They will try to hide real prices from you, they will not honor advertised prices and will NOT allow you to buy the vehicle without this useless $4-5K add-on. Don't walk, RUN from this dealership! ADD-ONS ARE NOT OPTIONAL despite the B.S. response they will give to this post. Go read the numerous Yelp reviews that complain of the same. Their Google reviews are fake.
I guess i should have gone here first
I guess i should have gone here first. On 04/28 I took my 2018 Ram for its 15K service which your website shows the service for 516.00 which is reasonable. It lists all the things you are going to do including oil change, oil filter change, both fuel filters and various lubes, rotation of tires, fill low fluids. I was called by service tech Tarek and advised of the cost of service was going to be 738.00. When I told him the internet shows a price of 516, I was told he does not know how to get on his own website to find this. He then calls me back and says it will be 738 but the service manager will take off 30% of my entire bill including parts and labor. This would bring it back to 516. I go to pick up my vehicle and first, the fluids are not topped off including the DEF. Tires did not appear rotated and it was not washed as promised. I then advised I only have 150 taken off the bill and the total charges is nearly 640. I had no choice but to pay it. The service manager refused to talk to me. I will never go back to this dealership and will let everyone know my experience.

THE WORST DEALER EVER!
THE WORST DEALER EVER! I purchased a vehicle for my daughters 21st birthday on May 6th and 2 and a half weeks later they decided to call me on a Saturday Memorial weekend and tell me they were having trouble verifying my employment and if my boss did not verify it that day they would be repossessing the car! The number I was given was closed also on the weekends and my boss could not verify this until Tuesday! I told the dealer this and they did not care at all! They ended up taking my daughters car at 1:30 am Tuesday morning after she got off of work and I just couldn't believe this was happening! I am a state employee and they seen my pay stubs and clearly knew that I had a job! I felt so humiliated by all of this! Later that same day around 3:00 pm after several emails and my boss verifying my employment at 8:45 am that same morning they told me we could come pick the car back up and everything was verified! I have never in my life had to go through anything like this with buying a vehicle and I should have read the previous reviews from this dealer as they were HORRIBLE! BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY!

We went down to this dealer for a specific vehicle and price advertised
We went down to this dealer for a specific vehicle and price advertised. This was being sold as a pre-owned vehicle as it had 120 miles. When we got there we were showed the vehicle that had no window sticker. We were told we had to purchase the card package for paint leather and tire maintenence. We said we did not want it but was told it was mandatory. When we went in to sign the contract it was on a desk computer. The finance guy flipped through pages never printing it out or allowing us to really examine the numbers. Its unfortunate that I trusted this dealer. When I got home and printed my contract out there were a 1799 cash accessory charge that I have no idea what that is. The care warranty is printed on my contract as an optional purchase but even when saying no we were lied to saying it wasn't optional. I work for the city of HB and am very disappointed in this dealership. Be aware and make them print out your contract . They took my trade in but I ended up paying almost 5000 dollars over the orginal sticker price they offered. They are not very honest. Everything I can find says this is optional and was lied to.

Beware, they list their price lower than other dealers, but tack on mandatory add-ons that were not clearly outlined in their listing
Beware, they list their price lower than other dealers, but tack on mandatory add-ons that were not clearly outlined in their listing. They listed a used 2019 Cadillac XTS for 21700. This is a good price, and I was ready to buy it with tax and registration etc. without haggling. Then, they mentioned that they added on various options, but could not clearly provide the detail and purpose of each one (GPS, Anti-theft, paint protection, and disinfectant). Please note, GPS here is different from the standard navigation GPS, which they could not tell me what that was and how it defer from the anti-theft. I ask what the disinfectant was and they claimed it was a machine that was installed through out the car, and I asked them to show me and it was a sticker on the door(there was no such machine that was added on to disinfect the car, this cost alone was $900). All in all, this was an additional MANDATORY cost of about $5,000. Which put the car at about $29500 out the door with OC tax rate of 7.75%. This was clearly a scheme to get more foot traffic to the door. Don't waste your breath and time. This was clearly false advertisement.

Buyer Beware!
Buyer Beware! If you buy a vehicle from Huntington Beach Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, be advised that you'll not be buying the vehicle for the advertised net cost, your price only starts there, it's false advertisement. The net cost gets you in the door only to find out that you will get the Dealer Discounts but, part of getting the advertised Factory Rebate is that you have to use Chrysler Capital to finance your purchase and even with a 872 FICO score, I was presented with a 6.9 APR and when I challenged that rate, I was told that if they give me a lower interest rate that I would lose some or all of the Factory Rebates. Then another hidden cost is the dealer installed tracking device and vehicle care package that is not advertised nor on the window sticker to the tune of $4,200. When I told them I was not interested in this package, I was told that the tracker is already installed and comes with the vehicle so you have to pay for the package. So as the story goes, I ended up with this tracker installed and 2 days after my purchase, I was almost involved in a near head on collision. Making a left hand turn, my brand new vehicle began to stutter, failed to accelerate, all sorts of warning lights on the dash were flashing, power steering failed, ABS system failed, engine was turning off and on, etc...luckily the on coming traffic was paying attention and saw that my vehicle was struggling. Next I had it towed to a closer to home Dodge Dealership where it was diagnosed and in the following quotes is the language directly from the work order invoice "Found several stored codes due to aftermarket tracker device installed at the OBD port, removed tracker and road tested vehicle 10 miles to confirm vehicle operation, all fine at this time".

RE: Appointment to Purchase Used Ram 2020 Big Horn, at $28,500 August 18.2020 Dear Sir: Your salespersons were unable to give me a straight answer on any of my questions. They were demanding to know what I thought I could pay in payments before they submitted the offer to contracts. That was confusing and somewhat insulting. It made me feel think they were trying to pull something over on me. I thought the days were over were people had to deal with "the used car salesman". I was ready to purchase that truck and filled out a credit application. Your sales staff new that my FICO score was around 800. I was ready to put down $10,000 or a combination of money and trade-in that reached $10,000. I had a balance owing on the 2017 Nissan Rogue of $10,000. They said that is all they could pay on the car, so I was ready with $10,000 cash and take my car home. I could not get any answers from them nor would they draw a contract. I said I could buy the car outright at $28,500 plus tax and license, but your salespeople would not complete the sale. When for the cash price I was told it was $35,000. $28,500 plus tax and license would not be more than $33,000. After trying to understand what was taking place it occurred to me that this was a bait and switch or fraudulent advertising. Nothing on the offer to sell said anything about that price requiring warranties and financing through your banks. False advertising. Your salespeople (3) that tried to sell, were selling, warranties, and financing at 4.4%, even though I could get the car loan through Capital One at 2.99%. Since I did not want their warranty or their financing, they would not sell me the car. Was that your intention? I will be reporting to the ComplaintsBoard.com, and the on-line rating system at Cargrus.

Worst sales staff I have ever encountered, we went down to Huntington Beach Jeep/Dodge to purchase a vehicle that they had advertised on their website for a certain amount, and when I tried to purchase the car the manager came out and said that we would have to pay for about $5000.00 above the price that was stated on the website, nowhere on the site does it says that you have to pay for any additional addons and when I stood my ground and told them that I was not going to pay anything other than the price of the add on the website they got really mad and tried to tell me that they were not going to sell me the car at the internet price without paying for the B.S. They tried to throw at me, I told him that was false advertising and that I would be contacting an attorney and sue them once I said that he said that he would try to talk to his boss and see what they could do. I ended up getting the car for the price of the add but they still found a way to make it a pain for us because when we left the lot and drove home we got off the car and locked it and didn't realize that had only given us just an ignition key and not a remote control key So once the car locked we couldn't get into it. We called the dealership and I got ahold of Razi he said that someone would be calling us back but it took them over an hour and a half to call back, the person who called back was a gentleman by the name of Mike who said that he was a manager spoke with my wife and told her that we bought the car as is and it was our problem now so we were stuck with a car in the street with my wife's purse visible at night with no way of getting into it or able to get it all this happened last night at about 6 p.m. Sunday 12/13 and they ended up telling us that they were going to send a locksmith to make a key for entry on Monday 12/14 and as of 1:36 pm no one has shown up or responded to us by phone or email, text nothing the worst experience of my life liars cheats just all around scum if I could give them anything lower than a one star I would

HORRIBLE experience!
HORRIBLE experience! Save yourself from this SCAM dealership. This dealership is guilty of False Advertising! This specifically is for the Used car side of the dealership. They post cars at a reasonable price to get you in the door. I even called in advance to get the price because I live an hour away. They confirmed and told me to come in. Once we test drove the car and sat down to talk about price the cost shot up a few grand even after tax, title and fees. They explained that it was "pre-installed equipment" in the vehicle and they couldn't take that out so I'd have to pay extra. The "Pre-installed items" are lo-jack and then their leather protectant and other nonsense tha that they claim they have to sell the car with. Well that is the definition of false advertising if you list the car for $22k but then you say there are add on's that are already added on so it's mandatory to pay an additional $3k in addition to the tax, title and fees. That is just ridiculous. After wasting nearly four hours to find out that they are scamming us on something we clearly do not need, we left. That was after telling the sales rep "no" repeatedly that we do not want the add on and he said "It's part of my job to ask, I'm required to review the packages" Even after we said we understood he had to review and we do not want them, he continued to push. When I called back to speak to a manager, Ace was zero help and then I left a message for Mo. Ace said they would be losing out on money if they had to uninstall the added items. Here's the thing to all buyers: THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. They buy cars, install extra items that CAN be uninstalled but claim they can't and then expect you to fall for paying extra for things you do not need. If you added it to the car, then list that in the price and don't waste peoples time to test drive, talk price and then at the last minute hand write $3k on a piece of paper and say it's a "mandatory installed item." They clearly take advantage of people and act like this is normal but they are practicing false advertising and are the reason why people do not like going to dealerships anymore. ComplaintsBoard.com- Please stop this business from scamming people and wasting hours of their life.

False and misleading advertising
False and misleading advertising. Auto listed for sale on website reflect 1 price. When I went to purchase the vehicle - they added approximately $4,500 in additional cost to the purchase price on top of fees, registration, license, etc (standard fees). Overall adding ~$9,250 to the listed price. They disclosed it as "dealer installed accessories". I said that I didn't want those dealer accessories and to please take them off and honor the listed price on the website. The dealer claimed that the accessories could not be taken off and that the reflected price on the paperwork was their best offer and that they disclosed this on the website in the dealer notes. Dealer notes reflected: All Pricing and Advertised Prices for any/all vehicles offered for sale does not include dealer installed accessories which can be purchased for an additional cost. WHICH CAN BE PURCHASED. If I chose NOT to purchase them - they should be taken off. If they cannot be taken off - then they should be included in vehicle listing and included in the retail price. I pointed this out to the sales person and they would not budge. This is a direct case of false advertising and price manipulation.

I bought a 2019 Hyundai Kona from Huntington beach used dealership in September . It is now March 1, and they have not submitted the registration to the DMV, or to the loan company. I have called numerous times and have left numerous messages with no calls back. Other than one person I spoke to back in October who stated the information was sent As of today 3/24 I have spoken to the DMV and loan company who stated they have not received the registration or transfer of ownership from the dealership. I have made 6 phone calls to the dealership alone today, and used their web chat with no resolution .
I purchased a new vehicle from this dealer and nothing about the warranty was discussed with me. It pushed the purchase price up exponentially and I'm very displeased with the shady sales practice. I see from other complaints that this is common at this dealer. How do they have a A+ rating?
I purchased a 2018 Silverado crew cab at Huntington Beach Dodge; it's been nearly eight months, and I have not received tags, registration, or plates from the dealer. I've contacted the Department of Motor Vehicles, and they tell me that the dealer has not filed the paperwork to continue the process. I then spoke to my insurance, and they said the VIN number or temporary tags are invalid and not in the DMV system because the dealer hasn't uploaded anything.
I haven't spoken to my financial company that financed the vehicle, and they have not heard from the dealer either because they've been having title issues, and I'm still making my payments. The financial company is a well-known institution, and they have stated that they have tried numerous attempts to get a hold of someone in the registration department at the dealer. So far, the DMV and the finance company have told me the same thing: that it's the dealer that is not sending the paperwork over to neither of them. Every time I call the dealer, I get attitude from the staff.

The dealership has a Vehicle for sale VIN *** which includes a Jeep rebate of Detailed Pricing List Price $43,535 Dealer Discount -$7,885 Sale Price $35,650 Rebate $2,750 Net Cost $32,900 VIN: ***Stock: *** 32900.00 net cost after rebates. I attempted to purchase this VIN and got some crazy you must pay for the JEEP care package of GPS, Maint. plan, clearcoat whatever the 4 or 5 parts of the plan are. I simply wanted to purchase the car at the advertised price plus of course their listed doc fee of 85.00 plus tax and license they would not make the deal. After spending an afternoon with these folks only to have them not honor their own advertised price I talked with them the next day. The dealership employee admitted to me that you must buy the Jeep add on plans or they will reduce the advertised discount. The employee called it the 'business plan' telling me he can take off the as of yet added options but he will have to lower the discount. The advertisement says nothing about the additional requirements of buying the Jeep protection plan at 4500.00 Seriously folks does it get any dirtier than this. Oh you may think they were honest with me really this seems pretty systemic and in their very DNA. Beware.

Purchased 2016 Ram 1500 in Aug of 2020. The dealer was quick to take my money (down payment) was told that due to the pandemic DMV was slow to process registration. Was told that my temp plates were valid for 3 months if not longer because of the current situation. Received a call from Huntington Beach Jeep Dodge deal (DMV registration department) in January, was told that the dealer themselves had mishandled the process of transfer and registration, I was asked if I would be willing to drive to the dealer so that the the smog could be done to the vehicle and the can start the process of transferring and registration. received a notice from the California DMV on 04/08 stating that my registration was delinquent and total due is 708.00, if not paid i could be sent to collections / wage garnishment and that my vehicle may be impounded. To this date the problem has not been corrected. I have also contacted my lender Capital One on this matter for assistance
I first went down to Huntington Beach CDJR to purchase a Hellraisin Challenger on February 28, for a total of $66,808.89. I informed them that I had received an offer from another dealership of $16,000 for my trade-in because they initially offered me only $11,000 for it. Subsequently, I purchased another new car on March 6, from Huntington Beach CDJR for $66,908.89, which had an advertised price of $45,900, because they were unable to provide me with the first car.
I am seeking a refund of $13,422.00 from Huntington Beach CDJR for the Optional charges totaling $8,392.00 that I did not request, and for the adjustment of my trade-in value by $5,000. Additionally, I am requesting compensation for the $30.00 late fee charged by my bank due to the dealership's delay in paying off the car I traded in. The business has not resolved the issue to my satisfaction. They have only agreed to remove the MOPAR options valued at $5,795.00, which, as of April 12, has not yet been done. They have refused to remove any other Optional charges that were added without my consent. The Stock Number for the car I bought is not disclosed here.
On 5/7 I called the dealer about a 2017 Lexus RX350 and was told it was sold but they had a 2016 for $25,636. I gave them $15,000 as a down and was talked into getting a warranty. Signed a bunch of documents, each one with no explanation or breakdown in cost what so ever. I was expecting to be handed a document showing the itemization of charges but instead was handed a USB stick. I was shocked to see that this "warranty" added $10,000 to the cost of the vehicle. I went back with a print out to see what all these charges were about. A $25,636 vehicle now being financed at $22,850 while paying $15,000 down is wrong. They added $10,000 worth of extras and didn't bother to disclose any of it. They supposedly removed $7,397 extras at my request however the $1,799 optional GPS already installed accessory was required and not disclosed. Also, stating that my insurance would apply a discount which is not true. After all this, they tell me I will still be paying the same $ monthly

I went into the dealership on Tuesday night (5/26) to buy a brand new truck that I found on their website. I called ahead of driving there and verified the sales price plus any other applicable rebates were correct on their website. The sales guy would not sell it to me for an advertised price when I got to the dealership. They said that I had to purchase the protection package($4496) otherwise they would not sell me the truck. The sales guy also claimed that the part of the protection package will take care of the COVID-19 virus inside the car. I left that night after driving an hour each way from Los Angeles and wasting my time at the dealership. The next day another sales guy called me from the dealership to inquire about my experience. I told him about my less than stellar experience and he said he would be calling me later in the day to resolve the issue which he never did. I also send an email to the general manager with no response. The business advertises the following: "Why Buy From Us? BUY WITH CONFIDENCE We have created a more transparent car-buying experience by providing the lowers prices in the market, Up-Front on all our inventory. You can Save Even More, by qualifying for additional Manufacturer rebates and offers." The above advertisement is false!

They advertised a vehicle at a sale price, then when I called they said the vehicle was sold however the very next morning the vehicle was still for sale but at a higher price They said prices change everyday at 10pm and that certain vehicles are advertised just for a day. This was actually not true, they never sold the vehicle and appear to just be using it to bring customers in under false pretenses.

I previously leased a vehicle with this dealer which is due to be up in the beginning of June and arrived at their business on 04/22 to purchase the vehicle. The lease loan is through *** Financial, and as of today 05/08 the dealer has sent no documentation to *** or paid off the lease. Due to this, I am being asked to pay off the balance of the lease loan on 5/17, as well as the new used car loan on 05/22 to Ally. I began contacting the dealer on Monday 05/04 to make them aware of the issue and was told to "Relax" and they would "Take care of it" I followed up with the dealer on Wednesday 05/06, and was told that the issue would be resolved by today, 05/8. I followed up with *** today and was told that still no documentation has been sent to them from Huntington Beach Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. I left Voicemails with the Finance Manager *** as well as the General Sales Manager *** and never received a return phone call. The dealership had 12 full business days since the day i purchased the vehicle to submit proper documentation regarding the lease pay off and failed to do so. I am now being told by the bank that i could be responsible for paying both the lease payment and the new used car loan which are due 5/17 and 5/22 if action by the dealership is not immediately taken.

BAIT/SWITCH, YOYO SALE- 1st they attempted to sell me a car advertised at $23,745 for well over 37k (included a ton of dealer add on nonsense that was not of interest to me) after a hour of explaining i had zero interest in these extras they finally said frankly "you know youre getting a good deal just work with us and get one of the add ons, i agreed to the GPS and GAP insurance. I was prepared with all of my financial documents (labtop in hand). they did not ask for any docs to verify finances. I paid $2500 down and was told the deal was done. signed docs electronically. 11 days later i get an email (no phone call) that says they needed to re negotiate the lease/financing options. after speaking with a legal professional i understand this is a common practice in california car dealers, YOYO sale/spot delivery. On my contract the dealer is listed as the creditor. I signed all docs and i was contacted after 10 days. FTC complaints have been filed. I plan to make my car payments on time directly to the dealer. I refuse to sign a new deal which will obviously be skewed to help pump profits for the dealer. very disappointed in the dishonest practices.
Bait switch with pricing to lure you to the dealership
I purchased a 2020 Dodge Challenger on Nov. 18, 2020. During negotiations I informed the salesman the payments were too high during the Pandemic shutdown and I would not be able to handle them until February, so I would come back then to make the purchase. After conferring with the sales manager, he informed me Dodge had a Pandemic purchase program where there would be no payments for the first two months, so I would not have a payment until mid February . He said they were routinely doing this to assist buyers during these difficult times. Based on that commitment, I made the purchase. A few days after Dec. 18, 2020, I received a call from Chrysler Credit demanding that I immediately pay my past due payment for December. When I called the sales manager he claimed the bank made the change and only gave me 45 days. I said that makes no sense because the bank said I had no grace period. When I tried to make the payment, I was forced to pay both the Dec. and Jan payments $1,780. This totally depleted my Pandemic and Christmas cash reserves. This was a cruel deplorable Bait and Switch scheme.
May 31st I purchased a new vehicle from Huntington Beach Chrysler/Dodge/Ram/Jeep
May 31st I purchased a new vehicle from Huntington Beach Chrysler/Dodge/Ram/Jeep. Initially I was made an offer by their salesman *** that they would include at no additional charge, a full extended warranty. I agrred to make my vehicle purchase based on that offer. As it turns out, I had cause to review my paperwork about 2 weeks after purchasing the new car, and I discovered the salesman lied to me, and in fact had included extended warranty BUT at a charge of and additional $4500.00 which is far and away quite different than what I had been offered. So that's my first point of grievance. Second point of grievance is that I also discovered they had listed my home address incorrectly, which has resulted in my license plates for the new vehicle to NOT arrive (and I do not know when I'll be getting them now). Thrid point of grievance is that I had contacted the finance manager *** that wrote up my purchase back in the month of April and advised him of the purchase price error due to incorrectly charging me for a warranty that I was told would be at no charge, as well as advising him the need to correct my address for their and the DMV's records to be accurate. It is now 31/2 months since I made contact with *** asking for these issues to be resolved and I've discovered that after doing as they asked in order to get the issues fixed, they have done not one thing to correct the address error nor adjust my contract to exclude the extended warranty I should not have been charged for. I spent $37,000.00 at thier dealership and have been treated with nothing but ignorance.

Dealership advertises very low prices for vehicles but doesn't disclose all the costs until you arrive at the store (or get close to it)
Dealership advertises very low prices for vehicles but doesn't disclose all the costs until you arrive at the store (or get close to it). For example, the web page shows multiple trucks for sale at a fairly low price. When I call to ask why so low, they state they sell the most trucks in California so they can have larger discounts. I filled out a credit app in advance and submitted it to the dealership. Then I rented a car and let the sales man know I would be coming to the dealership which is over 300 miles away. However, about half way there, while talking to the sales man about the prices and my tax rate and interest rates, the sale man sent me a picture of what my purchase invoice looks like. I was confused since the priced jumped from 30k to 41k. While looking at the picture, I discovered there is a hidden upcharge that wasnt listed on the invoice, window sticker or on the web page. Once I saw this I immediately called the sales man back to confront him about several things like why they used a very high interest rate, the wrong tax rate and this mysterious "Aftermarket charge of $4496" which essentially deletes all the dealer discounts listed on the initial web page. He initially said he didn't know but then after I let him know Ive already spent money to rent a car and Im half way there to please be honest. He then stated that is the trick his dealership (and other dealerships he worked at) use to draw in customers and then once they arrive, they disclose the hidden aftermarket fee, but usually by then, the customer had a hard credit pull and they just buy the vehicle anyway. I was very irritated about this and let he sales man know it and he just said there's nothing he can do, do I still want to buy the truck at the much higher price. I declined and decided to make this report instead.

The salesman (***) who helped us on December 7 told me that it was okay to leave my vehicle at the dealership location
The salesman (***) who helped us on December 7 told me that it was okay to leave my vehicle at the dealership location in order for it to get towed and that I would receive a call when it was towed since I was doing a voluntary repossession. I received a call from Chrysler Capital today (December 29) saying that they didn't have the vehicle and that I needed it back in my possession in order for it to get towed. So I went to the dealership today and I spoke with the salesman in regards of the vehicle and at first he told me that the vehicle had already been towed/taken away so I asked him what company towed it away or who called for it to be towed and he said he didn't know. Then he changed his response to the vehicle still being at the dealership but it was at a lot that was locked so he couldn't help me but he asked me to leave him the key which he had a key in his possession already from when I left the vehicle there but I refused to leave him the key. Then he said that the car was missing/stolen and recommended me to report it stolen to the police. I had my daughter call the police and that's when he decided to finally take me to where they vehicle was which was at a location nowhere near the dealership. My daughter spoke to the police and they said to file this complaint and I am because it was unjustified for him to be lying to me about my vehicle and not helping me to get it back in my possession when he knew exactly what I was there for and that I needed the vehicle. What he did is fraud especially changing his choice of words all the time and pretending to be the manager when he isn't the manager. He was racing my daughter back to the dealership after I got the vehicle in my possession in order to make sure that we wouldn't talk to the police. The police has already left the dealership but my daughter talked to them on the phone and that is why I'm filing this complaint due to his unjust actions.

I purchased a car from Huntington Beach Chrysler Jeep on May 8
I purchased a car from Huntington Beach Chrysler Jeep on May 8. I told the finance manager I didn't want any warranties on the car. He stated there were no warranties on the car. After signing my contract, I discovered there were a number of warranties on the car. They stated there are mandatory warranties on every car sold at their dealership. They told me as long as the car was being financed, I couldn't remove the warranties on the car. To eliminate the warranties, I paid the car off on May, 27, 2020. They told me the only warranty that I could remove were the two warranties from ***. I asked them to cancel the warranties from *** on June 8. They told me I would be receiving a check within 30 days and I have not received anything from *** or Huntington Beach dealership. I returned on several occasions to find out the status of my request. I was told the were still processing paperwork from customers who came in as far back as March. However my request was summitted on June 8. I telephoned *** on July 27 and they told me they never received any request from Huntington Beach Chrsyler. They told me to contact the dealer because I was suppose to cancel one of the warranties within 60 day and I could not cancel because it was after the ninety day grace period. They dealer have not returned any of my call and I'm tired of going there with no results. I asked to speak to the Sales/Finance and general manager and never receive a response. Also, I never received a registration or title for the car or any papers explaining the warranties that was mandatory for me to purchase. Currently I'm driving with no registration. I spoke to Capital One the finance company the financed the car. They told me the reason I have not received a pink slip/registration because the dealer never submitted the paper work to DMV (that is as of today 8/16. The dealership told me the finance company was responsible for providing me a title

I purchased a 2019 used Jeep Cherokee on July 24
I purchased a 2019 used Jeep Cherokee on July 24. I test drove the vehicle around the block for approximately 10-15 minutes. At the time, no odors were detected but there was substantial animal fur in and around the vehicle. I informed the sales associate *** that I was interested in purchasing the vehicle but that it needed to be substantially cleaned/ detailed, noting the animal fur and some minor stains in the ceiling fabric. I also informed them that I had secured outside financing. While the purchase of the vehicle was frustrating due to common sales tactics, it was not outside of the range of normal. However, after explaining some of our frustrations with the situation, Mr. became verbally aggressive and began getting in my husband's face. We attempted to drive away but one of the sales managers intervened. We finished the sale with another sales associate. Despite having outside financing, the dealership ran a hard check on my credit and attempted to secure other financing without my knowledge/ consent. It wasn't until I received decision letters in the mail from random banks that I became aware of this situation. Upon receipt of the vehicle, I noted that the car had been wiped down but not detailed. There was much less animal fur but not completely cleaned. The stains were not addressed. Additionally, during the purchase, I noted that the dealership added $40 for a tank of gas to the purchase price of the car. When I took possession of the car, there was only 10 miles remaining until the gas tank was empty. Because of the aggression from the sales team, I was uncomfortable returning to the dealership and hoped to call them to rectify the situation. Upon the drive home, I noticed that the car began to smell AWFUL, like a wet dog. It got so bad during the drive that I nearly vomited. I have attempted to handle this with the dealership but they refuse to return my calls or emails. I have emailed 3x, and called at least 5x.

We purchased a new vehicle from this dealership on March 6
We purchased a new vehicle from this dealership on March 6. We went to the dealership for this specific vehicle. When we saw the car and left the lot it was dark. We purchased an additional warranty that was presented as covering all dings, scratches, tears, "roof to road" as explained by *** in finance, our salesperson *** and the finance manager, *** Though we wouldn't expect to receive a brand new vehicle with defects, this warranty gave us peace of mind for potential future issues. When we got the vehicle home and in bright light we noticed several dings and an issue with a gap/fitment issue on the driver's side where the front quarter panel meets the driver side door. My husband and co-owner, *** emailed the aforementioned Dodge employees at 9:56 p.m. on 3/6, immediately upon finding the issues. He included photos in his email. He sent subsequent email over the next week and made multiple phone calls regarding the original issues and several other we found when inspecting the vehicle including a scratch on the bezel. When returning the vehicle to have the sunroof installed, he was told "they would see what they could do." The vehicle was returned to us after the sunroof was installed on 3/25. My husband was extremely upset because not only did they not fix the original issues, the car had additional damage to include scratched front window tint, a scratch on the leather surrounding the bezel and a scratch on the driver side door frame. The dealership refuses to repair these issues that were present at the time of purchase and/or damage that they caused. It is fair to expect a new vehicle to be free of door dings and defects and it is also fair to expect the dealership to repair these issues if not out of good faith and it being the ethical thing to do, by honoring the warranty that they require you purchase when you buy your new car. Also, the warranty includes nitrogen filled tires and a clear coat, which we did not get.

This place is a bait and switch store!. I called to see if they have a car which was showing available online. They told me they have it and are sending it for detailing if I would come in and test drive. I drove 25 mins and reached the store. They told me that car was sold a few days ago, and wanted to sell me something else. Dont waste your time. Funny thing is the car still shows available online! I should have believed reviews online that said they either bait and switch or add 5K in dealer junk cost that you have to pay for. Save your time dont go there.
One of there responses said that they take cash which is not true. My experience was that i haggled with them for a while and we finally agreed on a number i said i would pay cash. They said no, I had to finance through them to get the car. Thats how they get you with a high finance rate and hide more charges. So I walked out. Buyer beware !
