I am aware that they provide 3 day passes to anyone who would like to come check out the gym. I myself already have a membership along with 2of my other close friends. I have a friend who attends LA Fitness who was thinking of switching over because the majority of us came to 24 hour. He decided to get a 3 day pass to check out the gym and see if he'd like it. We arrived to the gym, everything was going well they even gave him a tour but at the end of the tour the manager wanted to sign my friend up to a membership but my friend denied. As soon as he denied the manager became aggressive and began saying how if he isn't serious then why even bother coming, he was insisting that my friend paid for a monthly membership. My friend kept his cool the whole time as the manager! Clnstantly became even more aggressive. My friend kept saying he's sorry but that he was just checking out the gym to see if he liked it he wasn't ready yet to make a decision of getting a whole new membership ( keep in mind he still has his membership at LA Fitness. So the manager responded by only allowing him to stay the one day he was there but no three days because he wasn't "committed" . The main reason why this bothered me was, how is it possible that it's three free days if the only way to get those free days is to get a membership. I really want something like o be done about this please get back to me if you can. The location was at 5045 W Slauson Ave

condition of the gym and machines
The Montfort Drive at Beltline and the Dallas North Toll Road is the gym that I use.
The treadmills are always broken, but no signs on them, so I literally went from one treadmill to another to another until I found one that worked. There is always at least one treadmill out of order any time I go in and I go in 3-4 times a week. The dry sauna has a board on the bench that I guess broke, and the gym has put up police tape around the area, making the sauna much smaller in space and it has been that way for weeks.
The gym is not kept up, the paper towel dispensers are often empty, which makes it difficult to wipe down a machine after using it.
The staff is ok, not particularly helpful and not particularly friendly.
I pay dues, not a great amount, but still, I pay every month and expect the gym to be kept up much better than it has been. If things don't change, I probably will not renew my membership.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. The team members at the front are alright but the management is terrible. The GM MARK FRAGOZA is definitely having a relationship with one of his trainer employees and it is outrageous, so unprofessional. Every time I aske to speak to him he's not there because he's with his employee girlfriend! He's so unprofessional and none of his management team seems to care about customer service either!
They all claim to be too busy to talk to the members and this is why I am cancelled my membership, my husbands and my two sons. Thanks to mark and his management team you have lost 4 members from the gym. I will be joining another gym. All I wanted to talk to management about was why my account hasn't been frozen and no one wants to give me an answer it's ridiculous!
I truly hope that some action is taken upon this club and the management here.

hello my name is Tanya Seguinot and I have been a member for several years even so when it was bally's. I have a membership that includes unlimited guest visits that I had when it was bally's. I was told they would honor that only at the sites where the bally's were. Fordham on the grandconcourse in the Bronx, new York is where bally's once was, I am entitled to have my priveleges honored there, I went Saturday 8/4/2018 for the body pump class at 930 am, my guest was denied entry because I was told they do not honor that there. I pay extra every month to have that on my membership, so to go to the gym and then be denied something im entitled to is truly unprofessional and misleading, i asked to speak to a manger and none was available at 9:20 am i asked what time is the person coming and they said they should've been here by 9, the manger did not show up until 10:35 am, i spoke to a lisandra a manager there and she told me as per her discretion she made the decision not to honor unlimited guest priveledges for members who still have them from bally's, i asked her so this wasn't corporate changing this policy and she said that is correct not corporate but under my discretion. I need to speak to someone who can help me with this because this is truly unfair and unexceptable . If this is the case i expect to be reimbursed . Another problem with this location is the unprofessional unsanitary conditions going on. Most of the workers including managers are constantly on their phones, having loud inappropriate conversations just doing nothing while the restrooms are dirty. I've seen waterbugs in multiple either dead or walking around in the girls bathroom, the shower curtains are dirty as are the drains, filled with hair, soap scum etc, the walls, mildew and no soap in the dispensers, i have video of this, when its raining there are no mats out to keep people from slippining and falling, the classroom has no air conditioner we have complained several times and minimal attention has been given. I've seen people slip and pass out from the heat. i am one who has almost fallen . this is the worst location in the bronx . something needs to be done its out of control the staff is rude and unfriendly, unprofessional . when i suffered a gash on my arm because of a sharp edge soap dish in the shower this location did not even have a band aid and did not generate an incident report. They have a male cleaner to clean right before they close the gym in the womans bathroom while there are woman still in there, they mop and put no signs outside by the work out area where it is very slippery . i have recorded some of these conditions and i will continue to record and eventually have the media involved. this is unfair to the members. i will also be calling corporate to address this . i truly enjoy the classes and the instructors but the gym itself really sucks. The staff should be trained properly . im thinking about changing gyms to L.A fitness . so please someone address my membership rights and this Fordham Bronx n.y location. im very unsatisfied with this gym and i will share this on all social media including the media. i would also like a copy of my original contract. My question is very simple being you are claiming to be the person responsible for this facility, then when is the actual cleaning of this place going to take place.
Let's make it simple because as I am replying to you this date August 9, 2018 I have NOTICED NOTHING DONE! And let me reiterate NOTHING I have photos taking over the course of the year and would share socially, better business bureau, health department and corporate. I had enrolled for 2 month minimum commitment personal trainer which can be terminated anytime after two months of training. Through auto payment service they will take from you third month payment even if you want to discontinue after two months and will give tons of excuses not to pay back ur money.

My name is Timothy Wilson, Member #BLC10039416. $49.99 debited from my account each month cover my membership fee. On June 12, I purchased from Costco a 2 year membership to 24 Hour Fitness for $649. I spoke to the representative at the Green Acres club and was told that my new membership may not be activated until December because I am currently an active member.
I am currently retired and am on a fixed income. The reason I purchased the 2 year membership is to reduce my overall cost. However, I am now losing money because I have the monthly charges in addition to the upfront cost.

On Jul 13, 2018/0930 hrs I tried to register as a retired first reponder at the Kaneohe 24 HR Fitness in Kaneohe, Hawaii. I was informed by TJ, the Operation Manager, that I do not qualify since I'm retired. According to your add on Facebook I do qualify. I'm quite disturbed that your management is not up to date with corporate. I walked out depressed and insulted. I'm a retired military (Army) and a retired Honolulu Police Detective-Sergeant. Can some type of memo be sent to Kaneohe 24HR fitness and seek why the operations manager is not up to date?
unacceptable customer service
The hold time to speak to a representative is awful! They said 20 mins then ends up 40+ minutes unacceptable ! Everytime I call I'm put on hold. This happened to be ongoing daily. There is a recorded message daily after you get through that leads you to a representative and you're on hold for more than what is told to you. I'm a paying customer and expect to be able to talk to a human and not spend all day waiting for no one to answer or gethelped. Im about to cancel membership ! service and equipment safety at 24 hour fitness
I was injured earlier today at the 24 hour fitness at 525 E Colorado Blvd Pasadena CA 91101 because of the broken, worn out wires on a cable machine, there was no sign stating that this machine was broken. I touched the sharp pieces and my finger started bleeding, when I looked closely, I saw someone else's dry blood on it so I have to go to urgent care and get mediciation to prevent HIV because I was exposed to someone else's blood. I'm filing a lawsuit against 24 hour fitness because they didn't notice the worn out broken wires and didn't have any signs. I would like to file a compliant against 24 Hour fitness for not detecting the broken parts of their equipment and not warning their customers and therefore caused my injury and possible exposures to diseases. I would also like to file a complaint against the clerk working there at the time was named Washington and he gave me attitude for wanting to file an incident report, I was bleeding and he just kept telling me really loudly " you are not bleeding" repeatedly trying to get me not to file a report. He kept giving me attitude instead of helping me and told me it was no big deal. He didn't want to help me but instead he tried to make me feel bad for even wanting to file an incident report. I've never seen anyone that rude in my whole entire life, I was already freaking out because of my injury and I had to receive looks from him. He even laughed at me for taking pictures of the broken wires as evidence, and told me that I'm not even bleeding. I was bleeding.

I been charged for 3 months even after placing freeze on my account. When I realized that I am being charged I approached the 24 fitness store and spoke with online care and explained what happen.
They agreed that it a mistake from their end and said that I will not be charged for 3 month if I start using the membership since they already have 3 months credit on my account.
And also said in case if I want to cancel the membership permanently then the 3 month credit will be refund to me within 30 days.
Now, I am moving out of country so I wont be able to use the membership. I asked for the refund but now they are saying we can't refund the money because you can only use that if you continue to use the membership.
That doesn't make any sense.
I been charged which im not supposed to and now they say these things keeping my money.
Please help how this is fair and this is how you service your members.

Between the tiles lines you can see mold starting to build up. For the proces the members get charge, the facility should be disinfected and clean on a daily. Location is

On March 26, 2018 I joined 24 hour fitness in West Seattle, Wa. 98126 Employee 117555 Nicholas Swanson [protected] who signed me up. Its free through Silver&Fit im retired. They suggested 6 lessons with Tyler for $330.29. I took the 6 lessons and then he said they had a special for 8 lessons 2 times a week for 1 month at $581.33. April 22, 2018 they took $581.33 out of my Visa Credit card, then in May 22, 2018 they took $581.33 out of my visa credit card and June 22, 2018 they took $581.33. I was in shock and called them and talked to Adriene a manager and he said no its a package I said no it was for 8 lessons. then I asked to talk to another manager Zack Stevenson and got the same song and dance and said I was not getting the money back. they lied and scammed money from a elder woman taking total advantage of me and I will never go back to 24 hour fitness again. My husband is quitting because of it.

The managers name was Angie, and I was politely asking her if she could intercom for my daughter because she was missing. She refused and said she could not do that.But before, I was able to do this with other managers. I want to complain about this manager at 24 hr. Fitness on Lemon st. in Fullerton, Ca. They were very UNHELPFUL! If I was corporate, I would terminate Angie asap! From a very unsatisfied customer.
cancelled my membership
First off- I joined with a friend of mine Randy Harkey so we could work out together. I called and cancel my membership due to the harsh decision your company made against Mr Harkey. Banning him from all locations. Mr Harkey visited a club at your Silverlake location ((Everett, WA). The receptionist confronted him in front of several other guess. That he needed to pay $10 fee for His location. Mr Harkey replied "no problem" I'll catch you on my way out. She insisted he pay this immediately and say he could not go work out. That didn't sit very well with Mr Harkey. So he left went outside and called the corporate office. They will very understanding and waived the $10 fee. My Harkey proceeded back into the gym to work out. She confronted him again saying he has to pay as a lot of people try to get out of paying this fee. Implying that he wouldn't pay the fee- he tried to explain they waived the fee- however the computer wasn't updated yet. At this point Mr Harkey is boiling mad. He went outside again and called the corporate office. He was using profanity on the phone Yes he should not of used profanity- however he was so upset and belittled he cuzzed. Mr Harkey is a black man and feels he was discriminated against The way she was so persistent and even stated he was trying to get away without paying. Now this is our THIRD letter we have sent to the corporate office with no Fair resolution! We feel an appropriate resolution should be he is not allowed at that location. Believe me he was so humiliated he will never return there. Mr Hatkey has been at several of your locations Including California and New York. Mr Harkey has never had an issue like he experienced. We are only asking for a fair resolution and not bann Mr Harkey from all locations. We would like to join again. Thank you for your reconsideration

I recently spoke with a representative about the annual charge that caused my bank to overdraft. I paid all fees associated and the representative informed that was the annual charge on June 8th. It is now June 18th and I have an annual fee on my account for $54.11. When I initially spoke with the Rep, I chose to pause my membership. After discovering another charge on my acct, I called today and the rep was continuosuly telling me I was not charged on June 18th when I can clearly see on my bank statement when I was charged. I am requesting a refund and extremely dissatisfied.

We have four new members of 24hour Fitness in my family - gift memberships we purchased to get us all healthy. We didn't take on this expense to be treated with condescension. At the Atlanta location in Huntington Beach, you have an employee, Jeremy Bruce, who treats members as pesky underlings.
This Sunday morning at 9:35, 6/10/18, Jeremy was training a young woman in a almost-empty area. I was using an exercise band and was traversing a small slice of the floor. Let me repeat, no one else was on the floor, and I was using a thin and unobtrusive slice of the floor, as close to the exercise balls as possible. There were three rope-pull machines, and Jeremy instructed his client to use the one that didn't exactly obstruct my path, but he was leaning back so there was no way to go around him. There were two other machines he could've used. As there was no way to go around him and he was blocking my path, I said, "Excuse me." He - and I am incensed as I write this, incensed at not just the lack of customer service, but the derisive and condescending and arrogant way he acted as he was taking the lion's share of the area unnecessarily - then retorted, "Excuse me? This area is for trainers only, so... (pregnant pause with furrowed brows and open, mocking disgust at my middle-aged, out-of-shape female form)" I stood gape-mouthed, shocked. Then the coup-de-gras, "What's your problem?" Now, my family has been snipped at by Mr. Bruce, indeed he's fielded a question of my daughter's with open disgust, complete with eye-rolling.
I have worked with the public. In fact, I'm a public employee currently. Working with people is never easy, I get it. But to have someone who treats people this way on a company's payroll is poor form. I don't pay membership prices to be treated thusly.

This is regarding health hazard and created by a member, which was reported a couple of weeks ago to front desk and NO action was taken and the member keeps doing the same thing
On May 8 or 15th a member uses machine A-10 to do stretching with his leg on the handle bar and does not clean it, which is health hazard as leg is kept on a handle bar
and is very unhygienic and also the wrong machine to do stretching and the misuse of the machine
This was informed to Mr.Paco on May8/ 15th, but nothing seems to done and no action against the member
Today also this member did the same thing and you can see in your security camera around 8 am in the morning
If NO action against this member is taken banning him from this club, this will be informed to health department and this violation will be very expensive violation for the club
A-10 machine where arm is to rest, is being used for keeping leg for stretching and never cleaned

So guess what I couldn't work out because they only had one employee at the childrens club so my kids could not stay, so we had to go back to the house and wirts thing was that the assistant manager was laughing when I was super pissed off, So my question is, if this bussiness have my many already for the first and last month why in hell they couldn't take care of the kids when the service is paid for? Oh wait then I got extra charge for my membership.
