blocking access to my funds
Hello my telephone banking access to wire funds has been blocked. I was told to activate my account but have not been able to . If you would please restore my access and register/activate my account for me. For some reason I'm having problems with regretting my mobile phone . Maybe because I am in the USA. Please restore and release my funds or I'm going to take matters to a higher level
non-release of loan hold amount
I applied loan three months before and after 1.5 months, I received a portion of loan to cancel loan with ENBD and credit card with RAK bank. On [protected], submitted clearance letter to ADCB. Also submitted salary transfer letter 3 weeks before. Still I didn't receive hold amount. When I called customer care three times, they told me you would receive call in 48 hours and now 5 days after that. No one is called. Now I lost belief in ADCB customer care. I called the sales person in ABCB karama, he is saying, you would receive money today, don't worry... Now its seventh day, he saying the same thing. I think he doesn't know any other word. It's just frustrating to wait for long after submitting the all the documents. At least I need to know why ADCB holding the money. Please release my hold amount as early as possible.
liability letter (urgently required)

I have requested for a liability letter for my credit card second time on 27th of May 2017 through ADCB Electra Branch (Ref. [protected]). Customer care representative confirmed it will be ready within 5 working days because its only renewal of date. As per the request it can be collected form Electra branch and I have visited the branch yesterday to check the status. And it was not send to that branch. I contacted customer care yesterday and they informed it will be ready today (04/06/17). Pl I need this letter today.
I have applied all the liability letters of other banks on the same day. But I have received them within 4 days. If you provide your letter after 4 days. All other letters will expire. So please do the needful and provide me the letter as soon as possible.

credit card cancellation without my request/consent
Hi,
In Dec-2016, I paid all my dues for credit card and requested to cancel my overdraft facility which I thought created confusion for me sometimes.
However, In Mar-17 my credit card got cancelled along with overdraft facility without my consent which I did not know till late April-17. I did visit ADCB Adnec branch and approached ADCB call center as well but no response yet. Additionally, I switched my job in Jul-16 but my personal information still need to be updated on ADCB system.
Need your support to resolve these issues.

credit card charges and bad customer service
I had mistakenly withdrawn 500 from my account with my credit card for which I'm being charged with interest for my purchases of almost 10k. Can u believe that?!
Although I had enough balance in my debit account but due to similar looking cards I used the credit card which was an honest mistake. I made the credit card payment right after. The call centre staff are not helpful at all and my RM gives crap about me.
I was never informed that I would be charged interest on the retail purchases if I withdrew using credit card.
This has been one of the worst experiences in UAE.

I had such a big issue with ADCB operator 25.04.2017 at 2.07 pm.
Operator in ADCB was calling me and informed that i need to register my salary card with original passport and emirates id, i said ok i will do that but on the next week, after that that she said ok.
26.04.2017 at 2 pm i got salary, at 6 pm in the same day i was trying to pay by my card, but i coudn't, because ADCB block my account!

Why and again why?!No one from customer service or call center didn't informed me.

I am account holder in ADCB before one month ago I make complaint # C450204 against Your Staff Jarish Sebastian and Ameen because they both misguided me for Credit card and Salary account in ADCB.
When I open my salary account as per advise after three month they was told me I am not eligible for Credit card my question is this If I am not eligible for Credit card from ADCB why they both forced me for account opening.
After this complaint in March on lady call me from ADCB and asked when my three month salary credit in this account then ADCB will give me Credit card butt now no reply.
Please solve my issue and take action against these people otherwise i don't have choice for Close my Account with ADCB.

taking end of service amount and putting negative balance in account
Last 10 years I am dealing with ADCB with good relation with both side, I never made default in EMI in this period. But recently I am facing very bad experience from ADCB. I had change my job recently, and on 16/3/17 I submitted all documents like new salary certificate, new visa page, passport copy & emirates id. The end of benefit from my old company 16, 000/- was credited in account.in two installment ( 8, 000+8, 000) both are taken against loan even after my new company salary is credited in ADCB. Several times I contacted (Not mentioning the name now) CDMS liaison officer through phone & mails, but he not willing to relies my money saying that all my end of service will be taken to loan. I have good payment history till today no EMI is pending. In all means of communication, I contacted ADCB everywhere it is saying that the document which I submitted is enough for continue my facilities and enough for relies the end of benefit and also saying that bank will not take the End of Service amount, if I have Job and salary is transfer to bank (I have proof of that -3 different communication details with ADCB).
This amount is taken from my account without my permission and more over that I was objected to do so. The bank is taken almost 5 installments. This is total against the policy one installment per month. That I informed ADCB it is not acceptable for me. But who care, that CDMS liaison officer of ADCB given least value of my words even after I informed him that My Rent Cheque of Dhs. 5, 500/- is coming for collection on 15/4/17. But he taken the End of Benefit amount to Loan, not only that put Negative balance of Dhs -7, 986/-(negative) in my account (pls. note that I don’t have anything due to the Bank). That I informed the CDMS liaison officer & Bank by mail & phone banking also when I notice on 12/4/17 (the proof attached). But till on bank closing time on 13/04/2017 (Thursday) the negative balance was not removed from my account (proof attached), which blocked me to arrange the money for my Rent. I was planning to fund this Rent with my End of Service money because I submitted all documents in bank and 1st salary also credited. I don’t have any option to pass the Rent cheque. Still I didn’t understand what is intention of putting Negative balance of Dhs. -7, 986/-, and after informing the bank about the negative figure by mail 12/4/17 6.24pm and Phone banking 12/4/17 6.32pm, why the bank not did that till closing bank time. I checked till 5pm on 13/4/17 not done and in midnight so thing it did. and not informed me the action. The next bank working day 15/4/17 8am My rent cheque will be presented in the Bank totally now I will be helpless. As a normal reader, how you feel this is it targeting action against with a wrong intention. Tell me is it I am responsible if my Cheque is bounds. (The receipt copy attached). The CDMS officer and bank knows all the details (mail communication attached). From where I will get Justices, is it I ll get back my End of Service amount taken by the bank . Is this correct way of Banking? Is it bank is not giving value customer needs and rights? Can anyone help me to contact with Central Bank.

noc letter
I am trying to get an NOC letter from ADCB for the last two weeks and after speaking to multiple people in this organisation, I can't figure out what the process is. Every person seems to have its own ideas. I kept on asking what I need to do, and still not sure when will I get. I only have credit cards which I have closed even after the fact that I was advised by my relationship manager as well as her manager that its not necessary.
One of the worst banking organisation I have ever come across. I am not sure how do they operate when they can't train their guys on a very simple process i.e., to provide NOC letter to their account holders. I am a privileged account holder and wonder how crap would they be in dealing with basic accounts.
Can't wait to move away from this crap organisation and speak to people who actually care even at human level. Today, I was promised by manager of my personal relationship manager that he will not leave office until he emails me and he is not picking up his phone now. Second lady, responding to my request for credit card cancellation, promised to call me after 2 minutes, still waiting. Maybe her one minutes is one light year away.
Terrible customer support with no knowledge of their processes (I am wondering if they have any at all) effectively conveying the message, we don't care, go to hell and we will just say sorry at the end to cover for all the suffering and pain.

I want to raised this complaint as I am suffering from tremendous nervous breakdown due to the untoward incident done my ADCB Collection and Legal Department. I am in a financial Struggle at this very moment of time. I have to consider a lot of things to cope from this difficulties right now. I am a customer of ADCB since 2009 and my salary was transfer to the bank until now. I have overdraft facilities, Credit Cards and Personal Loan from them, unfortunately 2012 we encounter a very serious Financial Problem due to Medical Condition of my father and at the same time the survival of my sister to fight for the breast cancer that struct her last 2012. I supported them for the medication until such time I was already in a financial difficulties that I cannot even pay my bill, but I manage to do such things. Last November 2016 salary was transferred to my ADCB account they hold the remaining amount of my salary after deduction of my personal Loan, I was expecting that they will credit back my salary for my Credit Card payment but unfortunately it was not happened but instead they hold it for the recovery of my Overdraft Facilities which the cancelled with out informing me. I was not able to pay my Credit Card due that time. On my December 2016 Salary our company deducted my whole salary against my advance to them and nothing left for crediting to my account. In short I have 2 months default on my payments. The worse things they did was they visited our company and Humiliated me to our Managers and instructed them to terminate for not paying my outstanding due on my credit cards. I beg on them Not to do it inside our company as I was already had a warnings from our company not to put them in the scenario as this is my personal problem and company has nothing to do about it but a certain person from the Collection Department with the mobile Number [protected]/[protected] insulted and cursing me and tell me they will do a necessary action that the company will terminate me.. Is that a humanitarian action by them? I deserve to be respected even though I owed from their bank. I never had any intention to run on my obligation to them. They should not be worried that I can escape from them, since my salary account is under ADCB and even told them if they want to block my salary they do it until such time my Credit Card outstanding amount will be completely recovered by them.
My concern is that they should not deprive my only means to settle my obligation to them. I am doing my job well and I don't want to loss it as I am supporting my 2 children with their education, foods and clothing, my old mother, my ailing father and my sister chemo therapy and medication for her cancer which later metastasis on her lungs. What will happened to them if I loss my JOB because of my 3 months defaulted payment on my Credit Card, Is this a humanitarian ACTS from them? I hope I can get a concrete and understandable explanation regarding the gesture, harassment and threat from ADCB Legal and Collection Department.

Good Morning Everyone, Its my advice that don't open any account in ADCB bank. Worst bank in the world. i have face a lots of problem with ADCB Bank. Everyone will not provide you the full information. If want to punished yourself take the money from ADCB bank. they will make you cry. they will charge u extra money. Please its my request to you do not open account in adcb.. they will cheat you.. in my case whan i am leaving uae i have 1 aed balance but on airport i checked my balance, showed service not avaiable but tgey charged 2 aed and my account balance falls in negative.. after two month they mail that your account is -100 aed. They charged each month 50 aed.. so i request to you close my account, they replied first you settele negative balance, so i request one of my friend in uae to credit 105 aed in my account.. after my account balance came to positive.. than they asked for some document, i immidiately send. After they stooped to give reply.. and account not close up to 18 days passed.. after again they charged 50 aed.. and told you first setteled negative balance.. i am shocked.. how can they do that.. this is delay by bank.. in one day they opened account ..for closing this much time.. they are cheating.. never trust on adcb. After i contact with accoun opening person he told i can not do that if you want to close account you have yo come again uae. Still now my account not closed and in negative... I dont know what to do?

I am a dissatisfied customer through my recent dealings with a current ADCB dispute regarding a unauthorized transaction. On October 10, 2015 I received a call from ADCB advisor to notify me of an unauthorized transaction on my credit card and shortly after that received a dispute form to be completed. This was clear and expected that the query would be addressed directly by ADCB. To my dismay found that it is my responsibility to chase the bank on updates and after 30 days the amounts are still shown in my statement with the response that it will take 45-120 days to investigate the matter when it is clearly evident that these were irregular expenses (as noted by ADCB, when they called me) and more so that I have never been to the country where the transactions took place. After multiple frustrated calls and email follow up lead to believe that the disputed amounts are pending management approval to be credited which was notified to me on the October 19, 2015 4:03 PM. I cannot understand why firstly it takes 9 days to response with some form of clarification and secondly why 30 days later the amount is still not approved by management. Signed by a very unsatisfied customer of ADCB.

I have made a request to cancell my credit card on 20 th of October 2015.they made me called every single day because of no action taken. when ever i called, each customer service agent gave me different versions of reasons, finally the card was closed on 5 th of november. Again on 7 th of November they came up and informed me, i need to pay another 7200 dirhams for another card, where i got only one card and its cancelled!.The agent was continously telling.. " mam i understand you as if he is a machine" . i tried my level best to convince him, i got only one card and it is cancelled since i paid full amount. finally he put me on hold for 10 min and came up telling that he will get back to me. I finished my employment on oct 17th, i am just waiting to clear the this .. POOR ADCB. VERY POOR SERVICE.. I tried to buy some stuff from Al Shaya (H&M) on 5th November and while i was waiting at cashier for transaction, i received message from ADCB bank that amount is deducted from my account. But cashier told me that transaction was invalid. I called the banks call centre and customer service representative told me that my money is on hold and will be returned in 10 days! Why do they keep my money 10 days? I did not buy anything because cashier showed the slip which was mentioning that transaction was invalid, but my money is deducted and bank tells me to wait 10 days! Why? It is not my problem, why they keep my money, i want it back immediately! They cannot just say that this is the process, i do not care, i want my money...
false terms and hidden charges!
I opened a Meethaq fixed deposit account with this bank in January 2008. After 8 months of depositing AED 2000 I decided to pull the money back and close this fixed deposit. The bank ignored my request for 3 weeks and then claimed that the money I deposited total of AED 16, 000 is no longer available as they lost the investments. Then they claimed that because of the terms I lost this amount. Now after 7 years am receiving that I owe the bank AED 8830 on a debt card that had no outstanding balance! Is there a way I can claim my money back and complain to the authorities of their false practices.

I have had the worst experience with this bank ever! I had just requested for a liability letter with a mere intention to move to another bank that agreed to give me a better inerest rate. Following that i received a call from their retention unit claiming they wanted to retain me! Little did i know this is going to be an absolute torture in this manner! They agreed to buy out my car loan which i had with another bank. And so i provided them with the liability letter beginning of january. And following that it has been such a traumatic experince with their incompetent personnel! I had to chase them several times and then i was told they had misplaced my liability letter and that i am to go over, pay again, and get them another liability letter! I refused initally and had to make an issue! Later i receive a call stating they have located my liability letter. After that there was silence again!
And then following several attempts to reach them from my end, i get another call saying the letter has expired! And the staff dealing with my case in the retention unit has absolutely no sensitivity to this matter! I literally had to visit the retention unit and meet the manager to resolve the matter! Upon my visit i promised a further reduction in the interest rate by the manager who was apologetic and i was requested to obtain the letter again as the process could not go through otherwise! Left with no choice, i am yet to receive the liability letter and all this delay has caused me tremendous loss and damages as i had other commitments ! More than a month and i am still stuck up! Absolutely pathetic! I am looking for a way to lodge a complaint and let people know of what the treatment is like! Any suggestions are welcome!
poor service & follow up
I requested to open an Offshore account with ADCB. This took 21 x days as the Relationship Manager did not bother to follow up on collection of documents. Once opened, I am then informed that to pay a cheque into the OffShore account will take 45 days - yes, you read that correctly, not 4 to 5 days, but 45 days - 6 weeks! Clearly ADCB will be breeding the carrier pigeon that will fly over the GCC, across the globe, and then settle into Jersey.
Despite my writing of 10 x mails across 21 days duration, there has been little change in terms of action, and no change in terms of the 45 day clearance.
Needless to say, I am totally aghast at the Flippancy of ADCB, their pathetic CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVES and their general follow up and actions. I can not believe that in 2014 they simply close ranks and show zero shame when they quote such time frames. Thanks ADCB for being so uncaring, and for wasting so much of my time. Utterly Utterly hopeless service from ADCB - WILL NEVER BANK WITH THEM AGAIN.
There is no mobile banking app for BlackBerry 10 OS. ADCB has always lagged behind in providing support for their banking app. Almost all other banks who have apps have extended their platforms to BlackBerry OS 10, like Emirates NBD etc.
When can we expect an app for BlackBerry OS 10?
I tried to call ADCB Toll Free 8002030 from UAE, they never picked up the call. Tried twice and waited for more than 10min over my mobile phone. No body answered the call.

I have a bank account in ADCB Bank and for the past 1 year and have credit card with them as well. Recently I have resigned from my current employer in Abu Dhabi) to join another company in Dubai). For visa purposes I exited UAE and currently in my home country.
Two days back, my existing employer credited a checque of my end of services benefits however the bank blocked all of this amount reason being that my salary will no longer be credited in the account and the bank needs surety that I'll get my salary transferred from my new employer to the same bank.
This made me really worried as currently I cannot give the bank such surety as my visa is in process and I can't ask for the salary transfer letter from my new employer till I officially join them. Furthermore, I've some payments scheduled and the checques issued by me will be dishonored if this amount is not released by the bank.
Currently I have no liability with the bank except the credit card and the total credit limit of the credit card is way too less than the amount bank blocked. I can understand that the bank needs to protect their interest and I asked them to block the amount equal to my full credit limit and release the rest so my checques will be cleared.
When I asked how am I supposed to make payments, even for my credit card dues, when you are blocking my account balance the bank representative responded me that it's not bank's problem.
Now I'm sitting in my home country waiting for visa and have checques issued for payment of my car loan and can't do anything about it just because of such a stupid and illogical bank policy.

I am having ADCB Bank Credit Card, they charged me 170/-AED per month for Credit shield, though i am never defaulted the payment. This credit shield i never activated or requested, Without my knowledge they are charging it for last few months and i complaint about it and they are not ready to reverse the amount. Paying for nothing is painful, and i feel cheated. Banks need to be transparent, this is not the way to make money.
