This pharmacy left me without essential medication from March 2023-May 2023. As a result, I spent 3 months with fevers, auto immune issues, and continued symptoms. Accredo continually claimed they were missing information that I witnessed my own doctor's office send to them multiple times. I was given zero updates unless I called them, and was told the same information from multiple representatives over the course of 3 months. This same incident happened again this year. I ran out of my medication in April, and again Accredo was waiting on paperwork that was sent to them multiple times. I was without medication for three weeks before my doctor was able to send my prescription to another local pharmacy who was able to fill the order the same day. Had Accredo taken longer to fill my prescription in 2023 I would have been hospitalized and in a terminal condition. This company is risking their patient's health over the course of months likely leading to worsening patient conditions, and I would not be shocked if patients die weekly waiting for this company to sort their own processes and systems for paperwork. Their unethical business practices should be considered inhumane and a violation under any other country's laws. I am interested in pursuing a class action lawsuit at this point, as I know several people personally whose health has been impacted from this "pharmacy's" lack of care or seeming lack of experience in the healthcare industry. These are not patient advocates, these are conmen taking money from sick people while waiting for their own patients to die in their care.
Desired outcome: Fines, sanctions, or another regulatory body to shut them down for their clear patient neglect.
