I am on an infusion medication for the management of my ulcerative colitis that, due to having Cigna insurance, I must receive through Accredo Specialty Pharmacy for home infusion. After a policy change, I have been trying to get my medication for more than a month and am now two weeks past due for my infusion. This happened before as well when I first had to start using Accredo and get home infusions and it took more than 2 months to get it set up, making me two months past due. This can result in a flare up of my symptoms and damage to my colon. I have spent more time on the phone with Accredo than I can even estimate. The medication was supposed to be shipped on at least 3 separate occasions now since January and each time it has been stopped. Each time I speak to a different representative and each time they cannot tell me what is going on, or they give me a reason that turns out to be incorrect when I speak to the next person. I keep getting told that they are in need of the prior authorization before they can ship it, but I have a letter from Cigna approving the medication that is dated February 3, 2021. Cigna instructed Accredo to run the claim as medical rather than pharmacy to resolve the issue and this was supposed to have been done. When I ask to speak to someone that can resolve the situation, they cannot reach anyone or basically tell me there is no one else I can talk to. I was told about 10 days ago that they had what they needed and set up the medication to arrive on 2/26/21, but when it did not (as I expected) I called again that day. That person told me they had just gotten the prior authorization that day (untrue) and she was sending it to pharmacy to be filled. After receiving another automated call on 2/27/2021 that my shipment was delayed, I called again to verify that it was in process and was told yet again they were still waiting on the prior authorization. I was told by the gentleman on the phone today that he spoke to someone in the "resolution department" but when I asked to speak to that person myself, he told me he could not transfer me to that person/department. I have spoken to Cigna several times as well. At this point I am truly at my wits end and do not know what else to do. I am concerned about further delay and having a flare up of my disease.
Desired outcome: I would like my medication and supplies to be shipped immediately and provided with a tracking number for the shipment.

This pharmacy is no better than the companies that making the opioids the people are addicted to!
You place an order for a prescription-they lie. Individuals that are probably given phone names-chanda, letrisha, etc. You have to ask for the spelling as the names are not easy to spell phonetically. You can't call the same person back-as they have offices all over the world-according to shawda or was it chakia? All their records are to serve their company for $. My son had health insurance-with cigna. The company that both this speciality mess-now they
Want him to pay hundreds for a shot-they failed to fill in a timely manner?!?
Then-the rx is not dispensed as they lie about contacting you, no one answered, someone hung up the phone, etc. This is the age of covid 19-our phone service is horrible. But these people have jobs and don't care about making other people's lives miserable.
