I receive Botox as part of my treatment plan for my chronic migraines. I've been receiving them for several years. When it comes time to refill my prescription, I always run into issues with my refills and my medication does not reach my doctor in time for my appointment. I had an appointment to get my injections a few weeks ago and my doctor reached out to Accredo to get the refill moving forward. Accredo failed to contact me to authorize the refill, and because of that I had to reschedule my appointment. My doctor's office indicated they filed a formal complaint due to the ongoing issue of getting my medication in time for my appointments. It's continually an issue. Every refill!
In earlier refills, I've continually run into the issue that my medication was not filled even after I was told by the representative I was speaking with that I was all set, my doctor's office info was confirmed, and the medication was ready to be fulfilled. Dealing with this company causes more migraines! It's always as issue getting my medication filled properly. I tried to make a formal complaint (after my doctor's office told me that had done one) while I was on the phone with Accredo trying to get the medication refilled and when they transferred me to make my complaint, I was put on an indefinite hold. I never got to speak to anyone or make my complaint. This company is incompetent!
Claimed loss: The loss is that I am forced to go longer between my treatments which causes migraines to flare up.
Desired outcome: Not to be forced to use Express Scripts and Accredo. This is a horrible company. They are incompetent!
