I have been using Skyrizi for almost 5 years now and it has been a miracle medication for my psoriasis. However, the multiple times per year that I have to communicate with Accredo to receive my medication bring me more stress, frustration, discouragement and helplessness than the actual effects of my autoimmune condition. The incompetence and disorganization of this pharmacy is shocking to me – I truly do not know how they are a functioning business. My medication has been late several times, there seems to be no documentation of previous conversations, I talk to a different representative every conversation so there is no knowledge of prior notes made, they do not keep track of my prior authorizations or my prescription numbers, they do not send specified invoices for my medication, I end up spending multiple hours on the phone with different parties to get assistance, etc. the list could go on. I have genuinely considered switching medications SOLELY to not deal with this pharmacy, which would be such a shame given the medication has done wonders and it is just the pharmacy that is not competent enough to get it shipped to patients in a timely manner. As I stated before, I do not know how this pharmacy has not been shut down. Patients who use specialty pharmacies have enough stress to begin with, it is outrageous that this place adds so much anxiety to their patients' lives.
Claimed loss: Late shipments, financial stress and hours of my time were lost
Desired outcome: For my medication to be delivered in a timely manner, to speak to representatives that know what they are talking about and to have my skyrizi savings card applied to my prescription without me having to jump through hoops.
