My daughter bought me an afternoon tea experience at Christmas, I had just about recovered from breast cancer and she thought I would enjoy it.
The town I live in is in Kent and has one Hotel offering this experience so I have tried to book it several times without success. Apparently the Hotel is not offering this experience at the moment, they ask me to keep trying. Their website has said it is no longer available and the nearest other one is 80 miles away in another County. They will not give a refund because I did not ask for it within 28 days! Really?
Recommendation: Do not waste your money
I'm really sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with Activity Superstore. It's disappointing to receive such a thoughtful gift from your daughter, only to find it impossible to redeem. After recovering from breast cancer, you definitely deserve a stress-free afternoon tea experience.
It’s incredibly frustrating that the hotel in Kent isn’t offering the experience and that Activity Superstore's website is out of date. Having the nearest option be 80 miles away is completely impractical, and their 28-day refund policy feels unfair in situations like this.
I hope Activity Superstore can make an exception and offer you a refund or an alternative experience that’s more convenient for you. You shouldn't have to deal with this kind of hassle after everything you’ve been through.
