The A&E Factory Service technician missed the schedule appointment. The A&E company phone line is automated and does not give an option to talk to a representative about where the technician is and any updates on when he will arrive. I accessed in-person help by contacting Sears appliance repair which contracts A&E. They gave me an updated time, but it was for the end of their business day. I makes it impossible to find any addional information. No emails, text messages or phone calls about where and when the technician would arrive for the entire appointment. If they are sending text messages, they are sending it to my home phone which does not receive text. I gave them an alternate cell phone contact number. Still no texting.
The appointment was for 09/22/23 between 10am and 2pm. After 2pm when I had not heard from or seen the technician, I called the automated line with no help. The workaround using Sears gave me an updated time of 4:30pm the same day. It is after 5 pm and still not calls, text, or emails from A&E.
Desired outcome: I would like them to have an agent available to handle problems not covered by the automated system. I need them to contact me immediately, bump any other schedule customer and get my appliance repaired.
