I know this booking was last week but I can't in good faith just let this go. I saw that I was charged $90.55 for a room that I did not use. When I arrived, the room was filthy. It was already open, slept in (used) and it looked any contents were removed by other guests. The room did not have a room number on it. It was a very insecure feeling. I went down to management to register a complaint. He offered me another room, but that room was just as bad. The gentleman at the front desk was nice but the whole situation was really bad. He made note that I left the premises. I had a very hard time finding your company's contact info. This never happened to me before. I registered a complaint to my credit card. $90.55 is a lot of money to throw away when for a room that was filthy and unacceptable.

I tried to cancel this booking, within the set free cancellation period, and although the hotel has had the cancellation confirmed, I have not received the refund of £66.65.
The cancellation period is until the end of today, 28th May, as shown in the attached photo. I have emailed the address on Agoda website as well as contacting the hotel directly who confirmed the cancellation but could not process the refund as I booked through Agoda.

Unable to change old email address because your site will not allow editing
I have booked almost 80 separate bookings with Agoda and they have always provided excellent customer service. In the past two years I have changed my email address but your website (under details) will not allow me to edit/update said address. Instead I'm forced to use Facebook to log in and I;m not happy about that.
Just today I booked a room and the confirmation was sent to the old email address. I rebooked the room Confirmation for Booking ID # [protected].
When I tried to get help at your FAQ page it did not recognize your own ID

Reservation cancellation
I made a reservation on Agoda. I requested to cancel it. I contacted the property directly. They were willing to cancel it (and provided me that in writing)but said they need Booking.com to cancel in order to remove it from their system. The motel never heard of Agoda. I tried contacting Booking.com but they do not have a reservation under my email in their system. They also do not have a phone number for customer service. I forwarded the email from the motel to Agoda saying that they were willing to cancel but needed Booking.com to do so. Agoda said they cannot cancel the reservation I made with them and emailed Booking.com to cancel. I never made a reservation through Booking.com. I made it through Agoda. Agoda should be able to cancel the reservation. I do not understand the runaround.

Cannot change email address associated with Agoda account
I cannot change my account details (email address specifically) attached to my Agoda account. My profile allows me to change name details but that is all.
however, there is no obvious way to contact Agoda successfully on this issue to resolve this matter. I don't want to delete my account and start again as I have gained platinum status and would also lose my booking history.
I have tried their customer service email which advised that I go to the very same page that I started from on their website...However, their list of FAQs does not cover this issue, only booking-related questions!
I then had to spend time trying to locate an Australian contact number, which in itself is not obvious. But I did eventually call their Australian number and their automated answering service requires that in order to talk to someone I must first give a booking number, which I don't have, as this is not a booking-related issue. As a result I could not proceed and was cut off.
I feel that there is no way forward here.
The inability to make contact is, I feel, unacceptable.

I booked 2 suites on Agoda (Booking ID [protected])
On arriving at hotel on 25th March there was no booking and after several hours on phone, email and chat with Agoda support I was informed that refund will be initiated back to my credit card. Till today there is no news from Agoda and they are claiming that their agent is trying to contact hotel but no response from hotel.
Kindly issue refund at the earliest.

Web site options keep changing
When I go to the Agoda web site and select my destination, a window appears that gives me, along with a list of hotels/resorts at the destination, an "Your budget", "Stars" "Locations", and "More". Within the "More" filter, I used to be able to select customer stars, pool, breakfast, internet, refrigerator, Car park, etc. Starting about 3 days ago, the filters options have changed. There is no location and the filters in "More" are significantly reduced.

This is my first experience with AGODA and I haven't been so embarrassed in my life.
I made a Booking for the Town Lodge in Mbombela (Nelspruit) on the 16th March 2021 for my stay from 24 March until 26 March 2021.
Unfortunately, I could not go to the Hotel as I had some commitments in a nearby town next door.
I told my wife not to worry as I've made the booking with AGODA for the Town Lodge on the said dates and that they've already deducted the payment from my account.
My wife went to the Town Lodge to book in. The Receptionist or Booking Administrator could not locate any booking that was made for K Els on the specified dates. My wife was told by a lady with the Name of Adri van Heerden that there was no Booking for K Els at the Town Lodge Mbombela (Nelspruit).
My wife phoned me regarding the issue and was very upset and in tears as she did not know what to do. I then spoke to Adri from the Town Lodge and she told me there was definitely no booking made. I asked her to contact AGODA, whereby she told me that she could not help us as the booking was done through a 3rd Party 'WEB BEDS'and not with the Town Lodge directly. They do not deal with 3rd Parties and cannot help us.
The lady told us that the Booking is most probably for the Hotel next door being the Road Lodge.
I told my wife that I would never book a room for us at the Road Lodge as it's an inferior hotel and not to my standard of living.
I could not contact AGODA via email to complain as we had an Internet connection problem at the company, I was at the time.
After discussing the issue, my wife decided to go to the Road Lodge, and there it was established that the booking was indeed made for the Road Lodge.
The gentleman at reception was very helpful and tried to get the matter resolved but to no avail. By this time my wife was exhausted and accepted to take the booking at the Road Lodge.
I was disgusted with the situation and what AGODA has put us through,
The room we eventually occupied was cramped, the facilities were below our standard, the bed was very uncomfortable, the bathroom facilities were pathetic, the size of the room was so small, even the Tv was the smallest you could get. Throughout the night people were slamming the doors and it was very noisy. This was the most unpleasant stay that we have endured in our lives.
I could have booked another hotel but was not sure if AGODA would refund us the money.
I could place my review on Tripadvisor or any other company that handles these reviews, but I rather want to resolve the matter in a peaceful manner.
I want to know what AGODA is going to do to compensate me for this embarrassing episode. I prefer a refund of my money as this would put the issue behind me.

Poor customer service and reservation was cancelled last minute with last minute notice. Property I booked did not accept American Express Card.
I had an email sent to me last minute that my reservation was cancelled. I had two reservation using same American Express Card. I called Agoda customer service and I spoke to Jetty or Jaidy, first he told me my card was declined which was a false statement since my other booking was not cancelled using the same credit card through Agoda for the same location and week at a different hotel. The employee kept on saying that my card was declined n there's nothing he can do. I called the property and found out the property did not accept American Express. I called back Agoda customer service and Preeya answered the phone. She was rude to me when answering the phone, I had to use a different phone number to call since Agoda customer service was not taking my calls from my number. Preeya disconnected my call. I end booking the same hotel using my master card at more cost. This is the worst experience I had ever had, the stress I had to go through and the poor customer service Agoda employees gave me on the phone. I was put on long holds, hang up on, and Preeya's bad attitude from Agoda. I will never book through Agoda again. I would like a management team to contact me at [protected]. We booked to stay at the Kingsgate autolodge in Paihia on the 19 feb 2021.
We were in auckland when the auckland district went into level 3 lockdown.
Our only solution was to head south incase auckland went to level 4 COVID.

The Kingsgate says they have not received any money from agoda.

Partner booking with Booking.com/ Agoda for Kennedy Tupaea 11 Feb 2021
On 11 February 2021 my daughter and her friend, both heading to university, booked accommodation at All Suites Perth WA to stay 14-21 Feb. They were due to attend their university inductions in Perth this week.
This was booked under Kennedy Tupaea for $733.26 and paid up front on credit card! The booking number is [protected].
This booking was made on Booking.com site but said it was partner booking with Agoda. When they arrived on 14th Feb to check in, they were told that there booking was from 14-21 March. Obviously an error by the girls. They will be in their uni accommodation at this time so they could not, and do not need to keep this booking. So they cancelled. Now, this booking error on dates, is an obvious mistake on their part. They were told there would be no refund?! How is this so.
How can this be legal, particularly as it is an obvious mistake. So what happens here the hotel/Agoda keeps the money and the hotel is re-booked. Isn't that double-dipping. I doubt this is legal or just. These girls made an honest mistake. They are young and not sure how to solve this issue, so have asked me to discuss it.
I have sent approx 8 email messages to and fro to Booking.com. They say they cannot deal with this as it is handled by partner booking Agoda.
I would like to be contacted asap on this matter. I find this very unfair and unjust that a refund cannot be issued. I will be talking with Consumer Affairs regarding this matter.

I had booked a non refundable hotel room at Point A Edinburgh between 4/12/2020 and 7/12/2020. Unfortunately due to Scotland restrictions Dundee and edinburgh were both in Teir 4 restrictions meaning the following
1. We were not allowed to leave our own home and travel outwith our local authority
2. We were not allowed to enter Edinburgh due to it being in Teir 4
3. Hotels in Teir 4 were NOT allowed to accept holiday guests unless it was people staying on work basis only
Therefore we were NOT ALLOWED by law to have our stay and expected a full refund. I have checked this out with consumer rights who have confirmed that The UK watchdog, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), suggests you should usually get your money back if coronavirus restrictions scupper your holiday plans.
It says this would be the case if a business cancels your booking, or can't provide the service due to lockdown laws, or you can't go on a booked holiday because the rules would make it illegal. The CMA says you should receive a full refund under most circumstances, with non-refundable deposits "likely to be unfair, and therefore unenforceable".
