I reckon we got ripped off big time
I reckon we got ripped off big time. Doesn't seem like it's worth the dough we're shelling out. My electric bill is still dang near a hundred bucks a month. These panels ain't doing squat 'cause now I'm paying more than I was before with my regular electric bill. And on top of that, I gotta cough up 150 bucks every month for the solar panels. I reckon the solar biz is chock-full of snake oil salesmen and overpriced gear. I wouldn't advise anyone to go with AgSolar, that's for sure.

TJ in Ohio ain't the best at communicating, and it seems like he doesn't know much about what his inexperienced installers are up to. These installers are taking forever to finish a job that should've been done in a day. They only show up at 4 pm and work for about an hour or so each time. And get this, TJ expects you to be home the day before they show up. Can you believe that?
To make matters worse, these installers actually damaged my brand-new steel roof. And now AG Solar is giving me the runaround about who's responsible for the damage. TJ has the audacity to say that damage is expected with every installation. Can you imagine? Now my fancy new roof has holes in it, and all he wants to do is patch it up with some silicone.
This new company clearly doesn't have much experience, and their customer service is just plain awful.
AgSolar started out okay, no really they didn't. Did not send out a person to look at the job before they came. Thought I had a shingle roof but I have a metal roof. The next time they came they found the electrical was different than they thought so they packed up and left. Finally got my panels on. The workers were good and professional. But now I can't get in touch with them. Was wondering if they are out of business.
AgSolar, LLC is not the best when it comes to craftsmanship and customer service
AgSolar, LLC is not the best when it comes to craftsmanship and customer service. It's important to ensure that you have the same cad agreement as them because when they arrive for installation, they immediately start drilling into the roof without using tape measures to locate the roof rafters. They claim they will come back to patch the holes, but all they do is use silicone. It seems like if they took measurements first, they wouldn't have to fix so much afterwards. Most of their installers have only been doing this for a year, and it shows in the way the installations look. I mentioned my concerns, but one of them simply brushed it off, saying that's just how it is. I will never recommend this company to anyone. I can only hope that the system will work properly once the inspection is done. To make matters worse, the installers didn't bring everything they needed to complete the job in one day. If you're looking for great workmanship, I suggest finding another company.
I had a great experience
I had a great experience. I've read some reviews and while yes there is some lack of communication at times. I understood that they are trying to do a good job, and there are a lot of moving parts and paperwork that has to have its (i) dotted and (t) crossed. So I understood. In the end my panels are doing great. I did have to settle for 4 less panels than originally estimated would fit, but it is what it is. That's life and I'm sure the Google earth calculator or whatever they used was in error, but honestly I have no idea. It'll work itself out. They gave me a check for the difference of panels not installed so I'm happy. They're happy. Everyone is happy. For those that are not happy. It more than likely paperwork errors holding things up. My electric company is great. Go Craighead electric! They handled everything smoothly and I got turned on pretty fast. I've read where that's not always the case, but it's probably not AgSolar's fault entirely. Anyway, best of luck. I think solar panels are a great way to plan for financial easement later in my life, so that's why I chose to go this route.
We started with AGSolar in 2022
We started with AGSolar in 2022. The salesperson was really nice and had good communication. They helped us through every step. We sent pictures of our power meter and breaker panel for system approval. It was supposed to be a one-day install. We got the "green light" for the install. Our system was installed on Dec 28th, 2022. The electrician had to reschedule to finish the job. They came back a few days later to finish connecting the system. After another day of installation, at 3 pm, the electrician tells me they can't finish connecting unless we update the breaker panel. The project manager tells me the salesperson or project manager will contact me to set a date for the update. The salesperson confirmed that AGSolar would cover the upgrade cost for us. I have all the messages/emails and tried calling. At first, the salesperson was responsive, but now there's no response. It's been almost a month since the electrician left, and nobody will talk to me or give me a timeframe for completion. This is ridiculous! I won't pay any money for a system I can't use. We have a $100,000 useless roof right now, it seems.

After clearing up some misunderstandings I have determined that the outsourced customer service representatives were the issue and not the company itself. Once I spoke to actual representatives of the company they gave me all the information I needed and more. This new rating is a more accurate rating of the company.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

I started the process of getting solar panels from AG Solar in June 2022. The sales person over promised and the installation process has under-delivered. The panels were installed in July 2022. We have 2 electric meters at our location, one for the house and the other for a shop - we were told that both could be on the one solar panel system by the sales person. However when the panels were installed we were told the shop was too far from the house to have both meters on the same system. I was told (several times both verbally and in e-mail) that AG Solar would pay my GoodLeap note due on September 26, 2022, if the system was not working by the time my note was due. Entergy came out on September 20, 2022 to set up my net metering but could not since AG Solar had not installed a lockable disconnect - ...so as of today October 6 - we still do not have our solar panels up and working. I have called, texted and e-mailed AG Solar numerous times...they do not return my calls; my text messages and the last e-mail I received was 9/21/22 apologizing for the inconvenience, but no solutions or time frames as to when they will 1) fix the issue with the lockable disconnect; 2) reimburse me for the note(s), since I am paying both the solar note and an electric bill. At this point even if they fixed the disconnect issue today, Entergy will have to be rescheduled to set up the netmeter and I will have to pay October Entergy bill and another Goodleap note for my non working solar panels!

I hired AgSolar to install solar panels on my house
I hired AgSolar to install solar panels on my house. They eventually completed the job and it appeared satisfactory. However, my electricity bills started increasing, and when I attempted to contact them, I was greeted by an answering machine. Previously, I could reach out to ***, but she directed me to speak with the sales department. My sales representative was ***, but I am unable to reach him. It would be disappointing if I don't receive any benefits from this investment, considering I will be paying for it for the next 20 years.
I got a system installed by AG Solar
I got a system installed by AG Solar. They're supposed to give me a login and password for a monitoring app on my phone. I've made a bunch of phone calls to the service department and if they pick up, the receptionist is nice. But I've been told I'd get a call back that I never got. They promised me emails that I never got either. If the service department can't call back or send emails, what's gonna happen if I have an electrical or mechanical problem with their system? I suggest that people looking to buy go somewhere else.
This company put solar panels on my roof a few weeks ago and now they won't reply to my texts
This company put solar panels on my roof a few weeks ago and now they won't reply to my texts. They won't answer my calls or emails either. When I do manage to talk to someone, they keep changing their story about why the system isn't working. I looked into it myself and found out that the city wasn't paid for the permits at first, but that's been fixed now. However, the company won't give all the necessary documents to the electric company so we can start using the system. I don't know what to do next. Product_Or_Service: solar panel system

They was in breach of contract
They was in breach of contract. We signed our contract on 8/12/22 and they had 180 days to complete the job. They didn't complete it until around 195 days after we signed. They told us to try and make things right they'd reimburse us for 2 months of loan payments, but never did, and are not answering our calls or returning them. We had to pay our Solar Panel.loan starting in November 2022 and because they didn't complete the project we had to pay our full electricity bill as well. We paid a full electricity bill in February and March 2023 even though per our contract the panels should of been up and running the first week of February.
AG Solar installed a $100,000 system at my house
AG Solar installed a $100,000 system at my house. The sales and install process went great, but the process to get the panels turned on has been horrible. After weeks and weeks of calling to get updates on the PTO process, I finally started to complain back to my sales rep. When the panels finally did get turned on, from day 1 there were performance issues. For two weeks now, they've been saying an electrician will come out to fix the problem, but now no one answers my calls or returns my messages. At this point, only half of my panels are producing anything at all, and guess what? I now have two bills when I was promised this would all be settled before my panel payments started. Now I'm paying double what I started at. I would never do business with AG Solar again and will never recommend them to anyone. Not cool.
I bought solar panels from AgSolar around 6 months ago
I bought solar panels from AgSolar around 6 months ago. My sales representative was ***. They told us that once the panels were installed and turned on, any excess electricity we didn't use would be sold back to the power company. They also mentioned that we would only receive a bill from the power company for a grid connection fee and the panels. Once we paid off the panels, we wouldn't have an electric bill anymore, but we would still have to pay a minimal grid connection fee. *** also promised us a $20,000 check after the installation, which we could use to pay off the panels or for other purposes. I specifically asked if it was a tax credit or a check, and they clearly stated it was a check that we could decide how to use. If we used it to pay off the panels, our payment would be reduced.
Since then, I've tried multiple times to contact *** through phone calls, texts, and emails, but I haven't been able to reach them. Finally, I sent an email to both the electric company and Ag Solar, asking why I now have two bills - one for the panels and one for electricity. *** replied and said that I was misled, and that I will always have an electric bill. The whole point of this deal was to save money, but now I'm paying the same amount, just split between two bills.
I signed up to have my solar panels installed in mid October
I signed up to have my solar panels installed in mid October . The salesman said I would be installed by the second week in November. Then there were issues with Entergy that I was told they wouldn't approve the plan. I never heard from the salesman unless I called and at one point I was calling once a week and the salesman accidentally text another employee telling them I was hounding him about my plan. I didn't think an update once a week was too much to ask for a product that was one month overdue. Finally in mid January we got approval for a slightly reduced plan and the panels were installed the second of February. The inspector wanted them to add end caps to the rails which took almost 3 weeks to get in and install. I was told then the activation would be imminent. My salesman quit returning any calls and the toll-free number told me they would look into it and never got back to me. I finally reached a supervisor who told me I need a new breaker which I had never been told before and that they would be here on Monday to install it. No one has shown up nor have I gotten any calls with an update. I have left several text messages for my new contact with nothing being returned. They did cut me a check for my first month payment but I am paying for these things and they have yet to produce one single watt of power. I have called their number several times and they are always closed and there isn't any way to talk to a person. Please help me get this turned on so I am not paying for both Entergy and these solar panels.
I got solar panels put in by AG Solar
I got solar panels put in by AG Solar. They finished installing the panels on 10/17/2022. The electric work didn't go as planned. They were supposed to dig a little trench for the wires from my main box to the control boxes in my barn (where the panels are on the roof). Instead of connecting the electrical wiring to my main electric box at my house, they connected it to the control panel in my barn, which is just a 50 amp circuit that powers my barn and two shops. Ever since they installed the solar stuff, the breakers for my shops and barn keep tripping, and I keep losing power to both places. I've talked to AG Solar multiple times to get the wiring redone like it was supposed to be. Every time I call, I have to start from scratch and explain the problem again. They never seem to take notes, but one time I was on the phone with this girl who kept telling me to slow down so she could write down my complaint and put it in my file. They never actually redid the wiring, so my system isn't working, and I'm paying for solar panels that don't do anything, plus my regular electricity. Every time I talk to them, they say they'll schedule someone to fix the wiring as soon as possible, but they never follow up with me. I called them again today and had to explain everything all over again, and they said they'd schedule someone to redo the wiring as soon as possible. I'm so frustrated with their lousy service. Hopefully, filing a complaint will help me sort out this problem.
We talked to a sales rep who promised that the trees in the way would be cut down prior to installation
We talked to a sales rep who promised that the trees in the way would be cut down prior to installation. He also promised that the electrical in our house, which we provided pictures of, would not be an issue getting updated. We advised that we had a new breaker box for inside the house but it would need to be updated on the outside as well. He told us while selling the setup that all electrical, including what was inside the house, would be included. We followed their website for progress on approvals and such, then all of a sudden received a text message that they would be out on July 5th to install our panels. This did not work for us as we were out of town and the trees were still not cut down yet. We tried texting that number back and could not get a response. They came and installed the panels as they said and we found someone to come sit at the house. The installers were asked about the trees and the electrical and were told that is not their job and to call when we completed those things. We kept trying to contact AG Solar to no avail. Finally, at the end of August, we Googled a number and got a hold of someone who scheduled to finish our install on September 8th. When they arrived, they were unaware of how outdated our electrical system was and had to reschedule to another day. They came up with a plan to install a 200 amp breaker box/meter combo and to move the location of the meter. After they left, we redid the inside of the house and installed a new breaker box inside to match what they were doing outside, even though we were told this would be included. When they came back a month later on October 10th, they tried installing a 100 amp box in the same location as the old meter by attempting to cut my metal siding. My husband stopped them and explained that is not what was already agreed to with the master electrician, and we had spent $600+ to go with the original plan. They left to schedule again. Three attempts and still no power. I am out of space, but there are so many more issues.
