The day we got our vehicle was going great
The day we got our vehicle was going great. But then, during that month, we found out we were lied to about getting a lower interest rate. They didn't do what they were supposed to do with our tag transfer, so we drove for a month with a dead tag. When we confronted them about these problems, it was impossible to get them to call us back, even though they said they would. Now it feels like they're just ignoring us. It was nothing but a headache getting our vehicle from there.

Terrible service department - they're rude and deceptive to the point of lying
Terrible service department - they're rude and deceptive to the point of lying. The service writer said they'd run diagnostics before replacing the part I thought might be bad. I mentioned that the ignition WIN module might be the problem, but I asked them to run tests because it could also be a fuel pressure issue. They told me the vehicle was ready, so I went to pick it up. But when I tried to start the car, the same issue was still happening. The service writer claimed they didn't run diagnostics and only changed the part I requested. They said I never asked about running diagnostics. They didn't run the tests and changed the wrong part. They made me pay for both the incorrect part and the correct one. I told them I'll take the car to another dealer for the repair. They even added on the paperwork that they changed the WIN Module at my request. They lie! It took them weeks to do the work, and then they lied about it. The car still had the same starting issues as when I dropped it off. They made many excuses but didn't show any honesty. They want me to pay for parts that were changed for no reason. They should only charge for the correct part and the associated labor - not the WIN Module and its labor. They fraudulently charged me over $1,000.
The service department at Albemarle Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is a real problem
The service department at Albemarle Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is a real problem. We took our Grand Cherokee in for service because the check engine light was on, indicating a misfire in cylinder 3. This was back in April 2022, and to make a long story short, they kept our vehicle for over 4 months. They kept giving excuses, saying they were short-staffed and blaming the machine shop. After more than 4 months, they charged us over $3000. But guess what? Not even two days later, the check engine light came back on with the same code as before. They charged us $3k and didn't fix a thing. They claimed there was a two-year warranty on the repair, so we brought the vehicle back for "warranty work." And guess what again? They kept it for another month and still couldn't figure out what was wrong or how to fix it. Their brilliant solution was for us to bring it back every time the check engine light came on so they could reset it. When we got the vehicle back this time, the inside was covered in mud, there were beer cans on the floorboard, and they had driven it over 500 miles. I get that they had to drive and test it, but drinking and driving a customer's car is just plain wrong. We paid $3000 for absolutely nothing. They didn't fix what they were supposed to, and that's fraud. We brought all of this to the attention of the service manager, who couldn't care less. They didn't seem to be bothered at all that we brought the vehicle back.
I bought two cars from Albemarle Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in the past three years
I bought two cars from Albemarle Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in the past three years. The first one was a used 2018 Dodge Journey, which never had any problems. The second purchase was a 2013 vehicle. We all know that buying a used car means it's sold as-is, but the real issue is with the service and management team and how they handled my problem.
I bought the car on March 8, 2022, for a total of ***. I put *** down and financed the rest with them, adding *** for a program that I never received instructions for. The first problem occurred in July when the car battery died completely. They refused to send someone with a spare key or provide roadside assistance, which was supposed to be included in the *** purchase. The second problem was the poor wiring of the battery located in the trunk, which kept disconnecting while driving, posing a serious danger.
The last problem, which is still unresolved, happened on August 25, 2022. The hybrid engine warning light came on, and the car became inoperable. They still have my car, but they won't authorize a trade-in or honor the *** Blue Book cash reward offer. It's almost November, and they haven't even checked my car since August 25th. They ignore my calls, and the manager won't return my voicemails or emails. They refuse to speak with Global Lending regarding my trade-in or the *** Blue Book offer.
Since then, I've had to pay for several rental cars because I need to commute to work. I just want the issue fixed. I don't want to have multiple car loans, especially since it's difficult to get a loan with my current situation.

I bought a 2018 vehicle in July
I bought a 2018 vehicle in July. On Sept 5th, I noticed a wobble in the front right wheel when I turned. The seller advised me to take it to the dealership. They even offered to drive it there for me. My boyfriend checked the vehicle and didn't see any issues. He inspected the tires in my driveway without removing any parts. On Sept 13th, I received a call from the service department saying that the parts had been ordered. On Sept 23rd, I called and was told that the vehicle was being worked on. On Sept 27th, they said it had 'slipped through the cracks' and would be fixed the next day. On Sept 28th, they told me that the wheel (rim) was damaged because it wasn't put back on correctly by whoever took it off my vehicle. They said I was responsible for the damage. The manager also claimed that the mechanic who did the intake on the used vehicle said I had put new brake pads on it. I explained that I hadn't taken it anywhere else because I was told to take it to the dealership by their employee. It became a he said she said situation. They also said I would be responsible for the wheel, but they had already ordered one without discussing it with me. The service manager also admitted that the wheel was not inspected as they had previously claimed. On Nov 21, I contacted them and they said they thought I had been updated on the situation, but I hadn't spoken to ANYONE since Sept 30. The update I received via text was that the wheel hadn't arrived yet and the issue was that the company had removed loaner vehicles from the dealerships. They told me I had to return the loaner by Monday, Nov 28th. They were still trying to get a wheel for me (which was ordered on Sept 27). They had put the spare tire on my vehicle, but it wasn't the same as the rest. They assured me that it would be ready for me to pick up as is on Mon, Nov 28th, which I find unacceptable. I feel like I bought an unsafe vehicle.
