Freeland Chrysler Dodge
I'm a business owner who unfortunately decided to do business with Freeland Chrysler Dodge. I purchased a used 2016 Nissan NV1500 work van from this dealership. It had high miles, so I agreed to purchase the extended warranty that the finance representative offered me. I thought that would be a great purchase based on the high miles of the vehicle. So...
Read full review of Alpha Warranty ServicesA+ warranty plan not being honoured, lied about items not being covered (2×), and deleted information from my account.
I purchased my 2007 Toyota Tundra in October 2020. With it, Alpha Warranty's A+ plan. In January 2021, I had to take it to my mechanic who found that the water pump went out, along with thermostat, the belt needed to be replaced, and there was a small crack in the radiator. My mechanic, whose English isn't strong, asked me to call and file a claim; so I did. I explained what was going on and was informed by the rep that it wasn't covered under my plan. I thought it was a little strange, but thinking this company possessed integrity I didn't argue. Owning a company that utilizes my truck daily, I didn't have time to waste. $1000 and a day later my truck was repaired.
A few months go by, now July, and I noticed my transmission had started slipping and shifting hard. I took it to a different mechanic as my original one was busy and, like I said before, I don't have time to waste. The mechanic gets back to me and states that the lubricating solenoids are bad and need to be replaced. I gave them the info brochure for AW and he called me a cpl hours later stating they do not cover the parts needed. At this point I'm like "What do they cover?", so I study the brochure myself. It turns out that they, in fact, do cover everything from the first mechanics visit, as well as "All internally lubricated parts in the transmission".
I called them today, cause the tensioner pulley broke and needs to be replaced, and brought up all the aforementioned issues. The rep told me, "There are no notes or claims on your account, except the transmission". He goes on to tell me, "I'm not sure what happened to the January claim, with everyone working from home due to covid there's no telling why it wasn't input to the system. We would've covered that, but now it's too late because it's 6 months past the repair date".
I've reached out to my attorney as I have now missed a weeks worth of income, roughly $3000-$5000 (yes, I have proof of loss) and the money paying for the repairs. Small claims is in our near future.
Desired outcome: Refund of all warranty payments, not including repairs as this would fall back on the dealership, and 50% of profits lost. Non agreement will result in me seeking reimbursement for all costs in small claims.
Engine coverage
Two weeks ago my 2006 chevy Silverado started acting odd. I pulled over turned truck off and started again. When I did the oil pressure gauge showed no pressure and my low oil alarm came on and a check engine also came on. I checked the oil level it was fine. So I called roadside assistance. It took 4 hours to get a tow and next day I ordered a to again to mechanic shop. Tow truck never came like promised. I talked to Alpha warranty about it, no apology, so I had to pay for a tow to mechanic, then the next day I called to talk to a adjuster and I was told that isn't allowed and I had to wait for a inspection from mechanic. Ok, i talked to mechanic and they need approval from them for payment according to warranty. They required maintenance records of work done and this company KNOWS when You Buy a Used Vehicle there may be issues down the line. Duh! Why we purchase extended warranty [censored] company refuses to do there damn job but RIP ya off. I am still waiting to see if the will pay what I bought EXTRA COVERAGE FOR! I will find this class action law suit out on these [censored]rs and all the car dealers that use them to be removed after paying for repairs

This company is a joke
I filed a claim to have the EGR valve replaced. My contract states that exhaust valves are covered, however Alpha stats this particular valve is not covered. This company is a bunch of thieves, this is the second vehicle we have filed a claim with that the particular part, with long labor hours, that needs to be replaced with the engine/exhaust is not covered under their joke of a warranty.
alpha warranty
What an absolute waste of money. When I filed a claim for the emergency brake work I had done (brakes were sinking to the floor and clearly in bad shape), I received a response from claims that stated, " How was a low brake pedal, a blown out master cylinder would cause this condition?, however it makes no sense that ALL 4 calipers failed at once, customer needs to provide an explanation of why the repairs were done."
Seriously? I'm not a mechanic. I provided all of the paperwork from a reputable, well-known company.
The didn't cover one cent, even though my policy clearly states all break work is covered.
Complete waste of money. You can cancel, but there is so much red tape and you must fil our paperwork where the car was purchased. Paid for a 6 year warranty and it didn't pay for one single thing. Not even a defective seatbelt buckle. Brakes were clearly listed in policy as COVERED.

warranty
I bought a warranty that would give you full engine, transmission, suspension and air conditioning coverage. I have problems with air conditioning and my car is in the dealership awaiting approval of the alpha warranty. alpha warranty says the bad air conditioner part is not part of the warranty package. I am not a mechanic and I do not know all the parts that make up the air conditioner, I believe that each car has different parts, so I bought a warranty that covered every air conditioner, every transmission, every engine and every suspension of my car. alpha warranty says they can do nothing to solve this problem, it shows that alpha warranty is unreliable, they fill out a contract in a confusing way to deceive the consumer, they are great sellers, but have bad support.
alpha warranty sells false warranties

I bought their warranty service. I had a malfunction with the valve body on my transmission. There contract said they would cover "ALL internal lubricating parts of the transmission". The valve body is an internal lubricating part. I filed once with BBB, and their response was "the contract said the transmission was not covered because of the valve body failure". My response to them was that the transmission did not need to be replaced due to the valve body failure. I got the car into the mechanic before it damaged the transmission. Their response was that it said any damage to the transmission, but they left out the "due to failure of the valve body" part... which would then indicate the point I was making. That there contract was talking about replacing the transmission. And that wasn't covered due to a valve body failure that was not addressed which resulted in Failure of the transmission. They said the valve body was part of the transmission, but even that is invalid because every other part that's listed it's not an internal lubricating part is part of the transmission as well They're playing with the words of their contract in hopes to get out of payment that is Justified. Not to mention only $1, 000 payment when I have $100 deductible. Which is a drop in the bucket compared to the $4, 000 I paid for the warranty that I've never tried to use until now.
auto warranty
On 03/26/2016 I bought a GMC Sierra K1500 SLE from M. Moriah Auto Sales in Memphis TN. They sold me an extended warranty from Alpha Warranty, the A+ 3 year or %85, 000 miles. Paid a surcharge of 4wd and day one coverage. On 11/16/2017 I made a claim on my motor. On Nov 28, 2017. The warranty was denied due to build up on the motor. I changed my oil as required, keep the truck serviced, down to the every detail. I provided all my maintenance records to the dealership and they sent all of my records along with their records of them owning before I bought it. This truck had 114, 329 miles when I bought it, at the time of break down, it only had 130, 000. I only approx 15, 671 miles in the truck from the date I purchased. Alpha Warranty is reporting on their website it has over 199, 000 and that is not true. They refused to paid and closed the claim, stating they do not cover pre-existing conditions. However, in the warranty it states Preexisting conditions not cover if known to YOU. Well, I pointed out that I did not when I bought truck that it was like this. They tell it doesn't matter and it's not their fault, I would need to take up with the dealership who states the warranty company is responsible. I am 22 years old, financed this Truck for 5 years. Paid $2, 195.00 for a worthless piece of paper.
refuse to pay claims
I must say by this time, I've lost all hope. Alpha warranty is the worst company on the planet. They will do anything to get out of covering an expense. I purchased my chevy camaro 2011 in Sept. 2016 . Had a fresh oil change straight out of the shop I was happy. I purchased my car with 25, 366 miles on it. I got my first oil change at 28k.. So I barely put 3k on before getting an oil change. I go in they say oil appears to be low. At this point I'm very confused. Gm cars you should get 7k-15k between oil changes. Believe or not you're not suppose to drop oil quickly. I think nothing of it. I got no negative report back from my mechanic. I drive to about 31k and I hear this knocking sound it came out of no where. So I research online. Gm forum says it could be exhaust. But at the time I had no check engine lights or anything so I was majorly confused. finally im driving and the car shuts down. The battery has died. I get a jump and now I have a check engine light. I take my car to pep boys down the street just to get a pulse on what might be the problem. They tell me its dealer specific codes and I need to take my car to GM. I brought my car into Gm around the first week in June. I'm thinking ok let them read it. GM takes my car for a week tells me the battery is dead. Yes I know that. Also they tell me they still haven't figured out the sound and would need to take the car apart. Chris from Gm service desk tells me that he was instructed by alpha warranty to take the car apart to diagnose the issue. Chris urged against this. But Alpha warranty insisted they would not cover anything until they take it apart. So now Gm pulls my Engine apart. Take out my transmission. My car has been gutted. Alpha warranty send out an adjuster after being told that my crankshaft has been worn and burn from heat exposure due to lack of oil. The adjuster spend 2 mins in the shop according to Gm rep. Chris. Then tells them the car is low on oil so were not covering the damage. The reported cost was close to 7k. Now I'm being urged to purchase a new engine or used engine but the cost will be on me. I just purchased this car. I puchased Alpha warranties Priority one coverage. I was not treated like a priority at all. Their claims adjuster lied. Several times I asked whats the recommend amount of oil required in a vehicle when it comes in for service no answer. I threaten legal action, so they had me fill out an appeal. After 3 weeks of waiting on that they gave me the same answer I was given initially. Car came in low on oil were not covering it. So now its august Ive been without my car for about 3 months. Alpha warranty didnt try to split the cost. never provided a claims adjuster for me to speak with. No senior advisor was provided. They cared nothing for me. But they didn't, mind taking my money for the warranty. Please Don't ever use Alpha warranty. Their entire company is unprofessional. They have no compassion. You have to upfront for everything. I couldn't even get a rental car without having to pay for it myself. Alpha Warranty if I can help it will be shut down. I refuse to let them steal anyone else time or hard earn money. I've read to many negative reviews. I wish I would have seen all of this before using them. Alpha warranty is the absolute worst. I will be looking for other to file a class actions law suite against Alpha warranty. please never use Alpha now I'm being charged for storage at GM and I owe them 1300 dollars just for taking my car apart. Now it doesn't even drive. on top of that i'm still making payments on it. I hate alpha warranty and someone will need to pay for terrible excuse for a company.
I bought a air conditioner five months ago.
Since it did not have enough cooling, I contacted the installer. After a five-month call with the following numbers
[protected], [protected],

Denial of auto warranty claim
I advise everyone to stay away from Alpha Warranty Services.
They are very typical where they try to deny every claim possible so they can keep it in their bottom line. They do this with valid claims that should not be denied. They either do this or will try to put in a used part because they purchased it for so much less. They also will make you wait days or weeks while they send an inspector out to evaluate the repair. More than likely the inspector will deny it after you have authorized the tear down (which you have to pay for fully when the claim is denied)
DO NOT do business with Alpha Warranty!
I would also recommend staying away from any other warranty company as they ALL tend to operate the same way. Save spending $2, 000 - $4, 000 on a warranty and put that money in the bank for an upcoming repair.
Don't blindly believe the A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. This rating is partially based on how prompt they are dealing with the complaints. Read the official complaints that are filed - not just the customer reviews. Click on each one (there are DOZENS) and see the details of each complaint. You will see a pattern!
Alpha warranty services-refuse to pay claims saying repairs are &existing&
I purchased a vehicle from exotic motors of rolling hills, illinois. The finance manager-jennifer-sold me a worthless alpha warranty for $5000.00. As soon as I had an issue with my mercedes-benz g-500, they refused to pay using "pre-existing" as their excuse not to pay. Google alpha warranty and see all the similar complaints. A "class-action lawsuit" is being prepared.
