AM Home Delivery & Trucking order of two P-tech units

This company received the two p_tech units in their Tucker shipping facility on May 10th. They held the units for over a month.

They were finally delivered June 12th after demanding a refund from ApplianceConnection.

They kept "trying" to schedule a deliver to my location which is two hours south of them. Please note that I am 1 mile off I-75 on a 5 lane road. From Tucker you have interstate the entire way.

Appliance connection called/emailed them numerous times and finally pressured them into delivering the items.

Never once die AM Trucking answer the phone and Never did anyone from there say they were sorry of that they gave a Dam if it was delivered or not.

About the worst service I have experienced in 40+ years of business.

AM Home Delivery & Trucking Damage to property from delivery truck

This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. They took almost a month to delivery my furniture as they continuously attempted to deliver on the 2 days a week I am not available after calling almost every day for several weeks to get delivery scheduled. Once they FINALLY arrived, they created about $200 worth of damage to my property. I have called several times but only to be transferred to an answering machine with no calls back...I have also emailed them twice with pictures of the damage but again, no replies. HIGHLY recommend NOT using this company EVER!

AM Home Delivery & Trucking 42" fridge

I ordered a 42" fridge with white glove and 1 set of steps noted. They showed up on Mach 1st with 2 guys to install. They told me they could not do it until they had 3 guys, they wanted to just leave it in my drive and I take care of it, I also offered my 4 guys across the street to help and a very large forklift also but they refused. I told them to take it back and deliver it with 3 guys. about every other day since they have moved the date out. Here I am with a date 21 days later that will get moved again. I have dealt with many delivery companies and have never seen one this bad even after it was their mistake from the start. I have since contacted my other suppliers to make sure they never deliver to me anymore.

Desired outcome: Another company that can actually show up for delivery

Hi Guy,

I’m having similar issues with the installers and white glove delivery. How have you resolved it?

They left my fridg in my cabinet and they said the legs were broken. I have my refrigerator in the cabinet and the installers put styrofoam under the fridge and a chair in front of it so it wouldn’t tilt. Now they are using every excuse not to come back. Do you know of anyway they will put the legs on my fridg like they said they would? Katherine Williamson

AM Home Delivery & Trucking Continuation of Extortion Complaint from 12/1 - Unresolved

Summary: AM Home Delivery wanted to charge me $150 to carry up my front steps. I told them to leave it on the curb. They would not drop the package without additional payment and left. I posted prior complaint immediately, got a call back the next morning and rescheduled the delivery DAY at no cost.

Now: Instead of getting a call to confirm Timing of delivery, they are now ordering a $75 re-delivery fee to come back and drop on my curb like I originally requested. Management is not communicating with the local delivery teams.

Desired outcome: Re-Schedule the delivery at no cost to me since it was their driver that refused to drop it on the curb when I rejected the $150 cost to take it up the stairs.

AM Home Delivery & Trucking Extortion

12/1/22 4:15 PM: Delivery Arrived as scheduled. I have stairs in front of my house. They wanted me to pay $150 to carry the item upstairs. I rejected that and said they could leave it on the sidewalk, and I would handle it. They refused to drop the package without additional payment and now I have to arrange another shipment date with them or return the package to the seller - both of which will incur other fees. Completely Unprofessional!

Desired outcome: Either Arrange with the Seller to return the item for full refund - no restocking or deliver charges, or re-deliver with no cost and drop it as originally instructed without being extorted for more money.

AM Home Delivery & Trucking Unreliable - Poor Service

AJ Madison contracts with AM Trucking. AM Trucking picked up our order on 10/19/2022. And, as of 11/17/2022 still could not provide a delivery milestone other than it had been picked up in California and was in transit to their terminal in Texas (where we reside). As of 11/17/20022 they still could not provide a delivery date until they actually received it at the local terminal, which they could only tell me it should be a few more days - that is just insane in today’s digital environment for tracking anything/everything in supply/logistics/transportation. Heck, I could have driven to California, picked it up and drove back in less time. Cancelled the order all together. AM Trucking cost AJ Madison a lost sale of $12,160.

Desired outcome: None, Cancelled Order, but want to protect others from such poor service.

AM Home Delivery & Trucking dishwasher

We purchased a dishwasher from Appliance Connection. AM Delivery delivered the dishwasher. Your representative, installer Javier Felix and partner came to do the install. This took them quite a while to replace the old one. He charged us $50. for an installation kit which was paid by personal check.

When complete we questioned why the unit was uneven and there were uneven gaps down the side. Javier stated that was the best it was going to get. The other dishwasher was in perfectly. He turned it on. Stated it works and left. Then we went to use it. There were p[arts in the bottom of the unit. We notified both Appliance Connection and AM. Pictures were sent to Elizabeth thru email.

Then we had another representative of AM, Calvin to correct install. We showed him the parts, which was a spray arm and the way the unit was installed. He found part of the top basket rollers was broken off also. He took pictures and reported it to his company. I signed a statement that he rendered the unit useless.

Then we made numerous calls and emails to Martin at ext 4811 from Appliance Connection. He stated to contact AM. Fill out a return form online. He now will not respond to my emails ore return calls.

We have made numerous calls and spent hours trying to reach your company. We did reach someone at ext 2, a dispatcher, he could not find the return form I had filled out. I filled out 2 others and when I called to follow up, they could not be found.

We are an elderly couple and we need a dishwasher. We would not be spending all this money if we didn’t. We had one and we still need one. This one that is here has got to go. NOW. We need to deal with this before we can get another.

Again this should not be this hard. We need a dishwasher. For all this aggravation I think you owe us one.

It is truly unacceptable for this to go on. I could give you some tips on how to handle your customer service. It is the worst I have ever dealt with. The number of calls and time spent on hold to get no one. Unacceptable.

AM Home Delivery & Trucking Appliance Delivery

This is not my first time dealing with this company and once again they were the worst. This time the driver called me and said there is someone parked in the loading dock so I went down. They were working on getting the drive of the van to move it. It was pouring rain and the driver never got out of the truck I had to walk out in the rain to the truck 3 times and I was soaking wet. He said you have 5 minutes and then I am leaving. The condo told me the driver could use a different ramp but this would require him to get out of the truck and get wet. While I was standing there waiting for him he turned around and drove off. I called him back and he would not answer. I called him back 2 more times and he finally picked up. I begged him to come back. I had already waited for this dishwasher for 1 year and flew down to my condo from North Carolina to take delivery. He said I am not coming back you can talk to my disparcher and hung up. Unfortunately this is the compny that AJ Madison contracts with to deliver their appliances so I have no other choice.

Desired outcome: Delivery my dishwasher today. I flew here for delivery and have to fly home Sunday

AM Home Delivery & Trucking Need to contact local office

I ordered a range for delivery and installation. Delivery guys brought it to my house, said they didn't know how to install it, left a bunch of spare parts for an electric dryer, "rolled" new range across my hardwood floor swearing that it would not damage my floor, (it did!), and left the range sitting in my kitchen (uninstalled and not hooked up). Hardwood floor has significant ruts and markings where they rolled the new range from the front door to the kitchen.

Desired outcome: Fix my floor please. You have the photos and quotes per your request.

AM Home Delivery & Trucking Home delivery

We ordered a fridge and while it came when expected, the delivery guys were just horrible. They dragged the old fridge out across the wood floors leaving a long line of deep gouges. I noticed after they passed through the dining room and asked if they had carrying straps to carry it. They said they don't have them or use them. I called customer service and was told that all crews are provided the straps and are supposed to have them. I asked them that they need to lift/carry the fridge and they said "but it's heavy!". They brought in the new fridge and were about to drag it to and I said they couldn't do that. They threatened to not bring it in. Then they brought a dolly from their truck?!?! where was that before. They then tried to bait and switch having me sign for the delivery with no damages by saying it was "just routine signature you received the fridge". I pressed them to let me read the pages before the signature and figured out what they were doing. I wouldn't sign.

I also pressed them to take their own pictures of the damage, which they did, but you can see on the letter for the company below that "based on the photos taken by the delivery which clearly shows that the installation / connections was completed properly.

The nature of the damage(s) is quite noticeable, it should have been noted on the shipping documents at the time of delivery." Well of course the delivery crew has no interest in reporting the damage they caused!

I've spent months trying to get their claim department to take responsibility but it a game of asking for a form, then pictures, them estimates, and they need to get the driver's side of the story. Finally they just said there was no proof and they wouldn't not accept liability. Their guy for handling claims, Moshe, is a thug and a crook. It's his job to string people along, deny, deny, call customer liars, etc. They sent an official denial even saying I signed the form saying there was no damage, when I explicit refused to sign anything. And it says I wouldn't need surveillance footage to prove the claim! The letter is attached:

Dear Kai Angermueller,

This email is in response to your claim submitted to our company.

After a thorough investigation by our company, including an interview with and a statement taken from the delivery personnel who handled the delivery, presenting them with all the documents and pictures you emailed us, reviewing our records and all the documents we requested in connection with this claim, and additional diligence conducted by our designated claims department, we regret to inform you, that a decision has been made to deny the claim.

Our decision was based in part, on an interview with, and a statement taken from the delivery / installation personnel, who handled the delivery / installation, including presenting them all the documents and pictures you emailed us, stating that they didn't damage your property or installed / connected the merchandise inaccurately, based on the shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Proof of Delivery and inspection questionnaire survey), presented to the customer during the delivery, completed and singed by the delivery personal, which clearly states that at the time of delivery "My property has been left in good condition with no damage done to it" "consignee hereby acknowledges install and/or removal was completed in a satisfactory manner and there was no damage caused to your property as a result of these actions", and finally based on the photos taken by the delivery which clearly shows that the installation / connections was completed properly.

The nature of the damage(s) is quite noticeable, it should have been noted on the shipping documents at the time of delivery.

We strive to keep our customers satisfied, and for that reason, we try to give ample opportunities to note the shipping documents. Nonetheless, we cannot accept any liability for damages, if the shipping documents are not noted, during the delivery, indicating damages to your property.

With the current information and evidence available to us, we have closed this claim, however, if additional hard evidence, like video surveillance or other hard evidence, will be provided, we will reopen the claim.

We hope you understand our findings, but if you wish to discuss our claims protocol or the above determination more fully, please feel free to contact us during normal business hours at [protected] X 203. Will be happy to take the time to respond to any concerns or issues.

They were supposed to deliver between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm September 14 but then called and said driver had an emergency and would deliver next day at same time. Later they called and changed the time to 6:30 to 10:30 pm the next day and then changed back to the morning. Now they have changed it to 2:30 to 6:30 pm today. I cant get a live person!

The worst company ever! we purchased the W/D on June 13th, 2020 and it is July 8th, 2020 and still havent been able to get any response... AJ Madison Appliances blames AM Home Delivery however, they dont provide us with Phone number and or email address to get ahold of this Company. Complete SCAM, FRAUD! I need my money 100% back

AM Home Delivery & Trucking Scam “delivery” service

After waiting for our new recliner for nearly a month and a half with no regular updates, we were notified that they would be delivering it the next day between 1-5. Because they gave zero notice, I had to take the day off of work even though money and shifts are tight right now from Covid. I wasted hours and hours waiting for the delivery and it never came. After the promised delivery window we got a quick call saying they were running late but would be there within the hour. After the hour passed, we attempted to call every number they provided- and even the "after hours support number" left us on hold forever, hung up, or transferred us to a dead message line. We made 10+ phone calls, emailed for support, and reached out in every way we could think of. We were on hold for over 2 hours in total and were not connected with a single person every though it kept saying we were next to speak to someone. Another 4 hours passed (I had waited for more than 8 hours at this point) and not a single phone call for the delay and the order never came- nothing was ever delivered.
I then Found hundreds of scathing reviews online, many with stories like mine. When we tracked the item with their website, it showed it was out for delivery, and then all of a sudden, the same tracking site says that they cannot find any order with my order number. Now, the tracker that said my item was being delivered within an hour is saying there is no order number matching my information. This company is a total SCAM. It appears as though they doctor the tracking information, when in reality your items aren't even out for delivery. As with many others, it looks like we will be forced to take them to court for fraud and theft. Thankfully we recorded all of the conversations and took screenshots of all of the tracking "updates" that all of a sudden disappeared. I think the best thing to do would be if all of the victims of this companies illegal practices group together and file a joint/ class action complaint (i will be speaking with my lawyer first thing in the morning). AM Home Delivery needs to be held accountable for their fraud and shady business practices. When they lie and refuse to deliver product as agreed upon in the sales contact, they have committed theft of my property. I am still out $700 because they have not held up their end and delivered. This company deserves to be shut down.

THIS COMPANY IS DISHONEST AND THEIR DELIVERY SYSTEM IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM! DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY.

AM Home Delivery & Trucking delay in delivery of shipment

dear agent,

my shipment [protected]

i places this order on 19th august 2018.

i did receive a message that i will receive it on 20th august which did not happen

then i contacted customer care number today, no apologies from them for the delay .

after our call to customer care another message came in that will it be delivered on 23rd august

i am sorry to say this but this is very unprofessional way of dealing with ur customers.appreciate if u can consider this matter urgently

Hello,

We purchased a washing machine WDB030 and a dryer TDB230 from your shop in Serdika mall, Sofia, Bulgaria this June. We booked a delivery for 24th July 2018, but they never delivered them. I am contacting the shop every day, but they don't give us any information. This is not acceptable. Please advise how we should proceed further. Kind regards, Alexandra Chevalier

AM Home Delivery & Trucking Delivering and not making phone calls like promised.

I had purchased my washer and dryer from AJ Madison, and I guess they may use this company, AM Home Delivery. Well its a long story. Awful customer service, gave me the run around. I guess this is what you get when they offer you free shipping! Dont ever use this company. They need to SERIOUSLY work on their customer service. I would have rather paid for shipping if I could have gotten my washer and dryer in a decent amount of time and better customer service, from another company, never again will I be ordering from there. Just beware.

Ordered range June 3 2022, and still waiting as of August 29 2022. They just keep rescheduling over and over. Appliances connection will not answer neither will am trucking. Not sure if there ever was a range out for delivery. I will be forced to take action soon!

The company could provide a way for the Driver to Call ahead if they are going to be really early or really late! This way the Customer has the ability to adjust for this if they can. Also my email to info@AMTrucking.com was never answered. So emailing them is NOT the faster way to get an answer.

Mine arrived earlier then the 4 hour window, and left before I arrived (which was earlier then the 4 hour window). I tried calling them to get a hold of the driver, but they hung up on me 4 times in a row. When your waiting to get through and stuck in the queue an automatic voice message said to have a faster response you should email them at info@AMTrucking.com. I can't believe they would suggest emailing would give you a faster response then Calling! So, I also emailed them all the details (included the Schedule confirmation and order info...). Still no response, so I started calling them around 2:57 pm. The first time I called, I waited 10 minutes, and then took one of there other automatic voice suggestions and dialed 0 and my 10 digit phone number so that they would call me back! After that I called again. This way they would either call me or answer my current call (which ever is faster). I waited 19 minutes before I was first in the queue and they answered my call. As I was giving them my order information, they hung UP! When I called back immediately, I was 22nd in line again! A little over 22minutes later they answered again, and stayed online at 3:48 pm, but said the driver was to far away! To Far because they didn't answer and stay on the line earlier on!. They said a deliver manager is trying to reschedule and would give me a call back. Instead of calling me back, I got a automatic machine call saying to confirm my delivery two days later. I tried calling back to see if they Could deliver today still since it was still in the 4 hour window or tomorrow. Called them 5 more times, and each time I finally got through they immediately disconnected the call without saying anything! What kind of company is THIS!

2 hours late after 4 hour window. I was forced to decline the delivery. They tried to charge me $250 because I declined. Over an hour late on second attempt. I'm not sure they are even going to show up this time.

Well I dont feel so bad. They promised me 5am to 9am delivery, and I aint seen em yet.Its been 8 hrs. I was promised a time so I scheduled my propane company to install the line. Im glad I read this site. You can bet They wont hook it up.

AM Home Delivery & Trucking class action

my experience with AM Home Delivery was similar to many listed below.(above?) Their website promised "white glove" service "delivery and installation" but when they finally got to my house a week late they said, "oops, stair carry". $120 per five stairs, 480 bucks.. I pointed out that wasn't mentioned on their web page and that I'd paid for installation, They played dumb and left my fridge on the curb..I think this may their buisness model, and if it is I think it may be actionable under a variety of common and statutotory laws.. I'm an attorney and I'd like to right a few of the wrongs I've read about. If you've been mistreated by this company I'd like to hear your story. [protected]@yahoo.com With enough plaintiffs we might be able to garner a better result than simply griping on line and warning others.

The company could provide a way for the Driver to Call ahead if they are going to be really early or really late! This way the Customer has the ability to adjust for this if they can. Also my email to info@AMTrucking.com was never answered. So emailing them is NOT the faster way to get an answer.

Typical bait and switch company. They promise you one level of service, but deliver a much lower level of service. There is no reason it takes so long to ship something such a short distance. When you call, it is a different excuse every time. I would recommend that you stay far away from this company.

AM Home Delivery & Trucking Stove Installation

Ordered a stove to be installed in January, 2010 from Home Everything. Home Everything arranged for shipping and install with AM Home Delivery and there the trouble began. The AM Home Delivery "Installers" damaged the counter top by not unscrewing the old stove from the counter top (basic task) and tearing part of the counter top up so all of the counter top needs to be replaced ($1, 350). A call to Home Everything resulted in a contact with someone who contacted the trucking company and was not able to get them to reply to her. Multiple emails from January to November of 2010 with AM Home Delivery resulted in an offer of $200 "take it or leave it". I contacted a lawyer and in order to avoid further legal fees settled for the $675 AM Home Delivery offered after I "left" the $200 offer.
None of the damage was my fault yet AM Home Delivery did nothing except stonewall me and claim they were not at fault. Home Everything did nothing to help it out except bemoan the fact that they could not get an reply to their emails from AM Home Delivery and eventually would not respond to my emails.
My only recourse now it to warn others of the sleazy way they both do business. I will never do business with either again and caution others to beware because a purchase through Home Everything and a delivery and install in California uses AM Trucking. Spare yourself the irritation and money.

I did pay order on February 17, 2018 last few ago month but I have save track here is # uh033763822cn spider big but they not arrive about March 31, 2018 should say before arrive I saw my mail done what happen my phone is [protected] call me. Now please touch with me now I really complain about that I worry !
