The Kindle version of GLOBAL WARNING is open to the public to read but somehow the same content keeps being rejected for not being English enough.
All my books are educational tools in nature. Teaching languages is therefore the main reason why these 2 books (and future ones) are in more than one language with English up front.
Why did ABOUT GOD pass the review test but GLOBAL WARNING keeps getting rejected with half a dozen messages as:
• Make sure the language selected for the metadata matches the language in the manuscript. If the correct language was selected, and you need to upload a revised file, please check the cover file to make sure it corresponds with the interior and metadata.
I am about to Promote and Advertise both the Paperback and Kindle version, but your robots repeatedly hinder this. Can you please let a human make the decision to contact me and reason this out?

Worst version of A to Z yet
I don’t like anything about this new look. Why would you take things (like pay, time, transfer opportunities, etc) from one page load, to two? We had a drop down menu before to go straight to that page. Now we have to go from the home screen, to the schedule page, and then to the next page. Why would would anyone make navigation WORSE? And NO ONE likes these video ads! This is an employee app. We use it to clock in and out for work, amongst other things. Why are we being advertised to like we are on social media or a shopping app? I’m already fully vaccinated, I don’t need to be hounded to death about it, thanks. I gave it some time before I decided to write a review, hoping it would grow on me. Nope. It has only frustrated me more. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
Step it up
It’s hard to find a lot of different things I’m looking for. When digging around trying to find things, I’m taken to external links. Why aren’t these links in the app?
Also, if I actually do find info, it’s vague. Why the vague instructions when you could code in the link itself to the desired designation?
My two main solutions:
Keep it all in the app, no leaving the app to online extensions. This is counteractive and mad annoying.
Secondly, I encourage to provide us with a key word search bar! That’s such an easy add on.
This app is good for nothing more than looking at your schedule and not having to use the time punch machines.
Even the notifications, you have to click through to actually get to the message.
All that dough we’re pulling in and cant hire a decent coder?
Working at Amazon
I started this job on 2 June 2022. I am 72 and never considered starting a new job. My neighbor across the street from me started working there CSG1 in Moreland GA. Sometime ago he is 65. We were talking to each other at the mail boxes. This is how I found out about working there. I applied and got the job. Work is not spelled FUN! It is diligent but I myself enjoy my position. I am a picker. I equate my job like working a puzzle. You just never know when you pick up the next piece, that you are slowing building the picture of the customer getting their package with excited expectations. I never get see the whole picture finished. Though some how it gives me enjoyment that I helped pulled a piece of the customer’s puzzle to complete the whole experience. I like working at Amazon!
Covid 19 and the reason it’s running ramped there
So I was working for amazon and was directly exposed to Covid 19 and had not contracted it but had to care for a 3 year old and that’s under there policy and doctor backed all I said if they would cared about me staying a employee but they didn’t and to my belief it was only to screw me out of the sign on bonus and I’m sorry but that to big of a company to treat a employee this way everyone I spoke to there told me different things and some what to do step by step and as I said I didn’t receive sign on bonus over fact I validated and couldn’t even file for the leave to be paid and they knew this makes me sick DONT THINK THAT HOURLY WORTH IT OR JOIN THE UNION PROTECT YOUR SELF FROM ANY EMPLOYEE BEING TAKEN FROM WHEN ITS A AGREEMENT BUT NOT ONE THATS HONORED YOUR ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR WORD !

How the heck am I supposed to clock into work or take the VTO offered (which btw! Love getting offered VTO when it’s not even available when I click on the notification in literal seconds) if I have to wait for an unskippable ad before I can access anything? The ads don’t even have anything to do with employees half the time! This company is ran by one of the richest people on this planet, tap into some of that money instead of exploiting your employees. The fact that this app regresses in quality with every update is sad at this point. Cant wait for the eventual “pay to use this app using the paycheck we give you” feature! Since you’re making extra money off ads I’m forced to look at I’d LOVE to get a raise!

Given a ‘wisely’ debit card app at my mission viejo location and was told to call [protected] but it was only voice prompt without any assist. So I called the original appicatiib center at 1855-[protected] and the gentleman advising me had no information and could not verify me on the phone. He was arrogant and not assisting in any way possible whereas I called this number before during the application process without problems.
The fellow on the phone did state the company has no information on me .
I gave him the exact information on my original application. He stated I needed to correct my information and as I responded to him ‘why’ it will be the same info . Without spending further time here I left this conversation vary disappointed and would rate this person as a definately ‘poor’ rating .

I have been blessed to be working for Amazon just a little over a year now.
After being in the health care (senior living) field for over 40 years and commuting an average of 30-35 thousand miles a year, I knew that (at age 66), it was time to slow down and seek a position much closer to home.
I am so grateful that Amazon has provided me with the opportunity to to be a part of a professional and caring team!
I love the A-Z app because it is very informative and guides me through my entire work week.
The A-Z app also keeps me informed and keeps me updated on all of the new and exciting news and features that Amazon has to offer to their employees and clientele!
I also understand that overall safety and customer satisfaction is always our top priority!

Please make this place your LAST resort for employment
The app changed THREE times in the course of 3 days. Showed incorrect information and you couldn’t schedule yourself(found out later you had to call ERC to pick a schedule. crazy). They knew of the issues last week and as of this moment of me writing this review have yet to send out a notification, email, text, or phone call; but they can send you emails about your upcoming scheduled day or how to bend properly at work. Some users(including myself) were shown UPT time which I later found out when trying to use it I didn’t have. ERC’s suggestion? I should’ve called last week to ask about it. Why would I call last week when I wasn’t scheduled and it showed in my app for 3 days until the moment I went to use it? Amazon will work you like a dog and give you scraps. Billion dollar company that doesn’t care about their employees at all.
Not receiving notifications in a timely manner
The app works fine for the intended purpose of punching in/out and reading Amazon news.
However, recently I started receiving notifications really late. I thought that it may be my cell service, but I think it’s due to Amazon’s internal program. Just this Friday, I was looking in the app, and decided to see if there was any VTO available in the coming week. Lo and behold, they had offered one for both Sunday and Monday, BUT I HADN’T RECEIVED ANY NOTIFICATION. No app pushes, no texts, no emails. This used to work fine, but this has been happening more and more. Same with VET. I get a text and open the app within 20 sec, all opportunities are filled. I asked some coworkers, and they confirmed that they had received a notification at a earlier time than I did. Really makes me upset.
I hope that this is resolved quickly, as it makes things unnecessarily difficult.
The new update
The reason I gave two stars is because the old version was so easy to understand. But in the new version when I try to view my attendance, it is off by a day. So to explain, I work nights, and the old way the work day was considered the day the shift started (to my knowledge this is still the case) but now it is showing up in a to z as the next day. So if I were to clock in late on the Sunday 14th of the month, to review the exact time so I can utilize pto the time in would be on Monday the 15th. However, the 14th would be flagged— even though the only mistake in time clocked were on the 14th. Also, the upt would be shown drawn from the 14th. May we please have it back to where everything coronates with the date it happened on, please. It is very confusing to have to go back and forth between two different days and HOPE I put in the right time and date to fix the issue.
Needs better control over notifications
I’m so sick of getting notified every time my UPT is low. There is nothing I can do about my UPT being low, besides earn more each shift. I don’t need to be notified on a daily basis that it’s under 10 hours. I should at least be able to choose every single notification that I want to receive, not just whether or not I want push notifications. Come on, guys. Treat this like an email subscription, where you’re able to choose which types of emails you want to receive.
Also, you guys need to get rid of the “There will be VTO available within the next 60 minutes” notification. First of all, it almost always shows up after VTO has already been offered and taken, second, it forces everyone to battle for one spot. Not being notified was so much better, because then it just meant you periodically check AtoZ in hopes of coming across some VTO. Yeah, it was random, but your chances were better, because you weren’t racing 20 people for one spot. Everyone in my department complains about it every time I get to work and there was VTO offered.

Stop hiring employees if they are not vaccinated your killing us from mask wearing almost 2 years now I can’t control who Amazon hires but I’m seriously tired of wearing a mask when we have upper management working with 6 feet mask off face and close to each other and learning leadership saying if their 6 ft away they don’t need a mask this is all a slap in the face to us smaller or lower on totem pole employees I’ve been with Amazon almost 5 years I’ve seen a lot and I know what’s what so fix the problems and handle the issues we will all prosper without management doing their jobs we will never prosper and FOE1 will never become #1 in the world and yes that’s my plan within year but if Amazon continues to hire unvaccinated employees we are in seriously trouble losing money paying them for getting Coronna and people in contact with them not being notified yes I’ve been in direct contact with multiple Covid positive people and never let known until they come back to our FC so that’s not my problem that’s a cover up and lack of management handling business we all interact daily so do a better job at letting people know whom they are in contact with and have managers be motivational inspirational and push people to their best Melvinfr loudest Amazonian is out have a great day see where this goes how far up the rabbit hole it will reach out too
Amazon Warehouse Flex
I seriously think Amazon Warehouse and Whole Foods market should go the flex route. There should be an open insurance place market as well with special Amazon discounts, because the amount of warehouse work is dependent on a variety of variables. Instead of $300/month for medical insurance it should be $50/month with the Amazon salespeople team negotiating down the insurance prices for Amazon workers. If there is no work in UWA1, people need to go to DSE4, DSE2, or some other warehouse with work.
I’m sick and tired of managers from other facilities/other shifts feeling like they need to attack each other through social conversation, because their is some fast worker stealing work from another facility. Parties are designed to be a form of warfare. Amazon makes it super plain with their work culture that morphs people into the Predator in Alien vs Predator.
I hate Jeff Bezos’s form of Capitalism because it encourages infighting within the corporation. I’d love to help the managers move up, if only I can get a free education in Supply Chain. Supply Chain doesn’t pay off and there is no money. Middle management is dead. I tried joining the military, because the future of middle management is in the Military Industrial Complex.
If I can get a free education in Supply Chain with a job guarantee, I’d love to boost Amazon’s stock to that $5000, if that’s what Jeff truly wants. You can become a trillionaire without getting Amazon’s stock price that high up.

Horrible, cheat App!
Beware of this Amazon ATZ App! This app is very weird, cheating employees hours worked. Now, if you are a Flex employee, pay close attention on your hours worked because I have been cheated by this ATZ App. I had a 06:30-10:30 and 11:00-2:00 AM shift that I completed on November 02, 2022 for total 7 hours which was showing up there in the and suddenly, this morning today I only see 3 hours and 4 minutes left. I checked with the HR they told me that could not seen I started work scheduled at 6:30 PM like they had a robot or a zombie went interior their system and deleted all information including the entrance, the clock IN and OUT, and the duty about that shift scheduled that day. Who ever deleted my 4 hours that I drained my energy for probably thought I would worked for free, in their dreams I will let this happen. They are trying to make believe there is something wrong with my badge, well. There is nothing wrong with my badge's card. I am wondering for how long they've doing that to me? They have a funny system, supposed you pick your hour scheduled then by tomorrow the shift hours can dramatically reduced the next day when log in to ATZ.
This App is not working most of the time, it keeps on crashing and freezes all the time! I clicked on Add shifts, unfortunately it is freezing! I uninstalled and reinstalled it does the same thing. I went and logging in my MacBook and it still frozen. I give it only two stars because I try to add shifts I saw 4 shifts available but I could added any of them because it freezes on both phones and computer! Funny!

I’m am 62, broke my left leg from the knee down on May 13th. Since that break, I had a terrible ATV (Polaris) on Sunday, September, 25th. Not wanting it to delay my start date, Thursday the 29th, I said nothing to Amazon.
I asked to be put in AFE PACK under OM Fongy as first I knew the walking would be minimal, it is located at the front of the building and thirdly, I had experience during my employment at OHL, an APPLE fulfillment center.
I went through my first day of training (Jonathan was AMAZING then and has continued to be so by caring and checking in with his new hires as often as possible.)
I was assigned to STOW, furthest possible end of the building and way too much for my aforementioned physical conditions.
Fongy, OM over fulfillment and specifically, AFE PACK, ran into me after my final break, yesterday. I suppose the pain was “written all ove me face” so he stopped my to inquire. I tearfully explained my situation to him and he 1) listened to every tearful word and 2) offered a solution by transferring to outbound, AFE PACK and RT SHIFT.
I WILL have to get medical assistance involved as my Doctor says I can stand and periodically sit while at my station. His letter is forthcoming to the appropriate department.
Lastly (and I apologize for the length of this “comment”) I absolutely love the people at Amazon, 6060 Golden Bear Pkwy, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, I love the buzz of machinery and human enthusiasm!
Please help me transfer to AFE PACK, RT shift. PLEASE, and yes I am now begging.

I think this app may have a bug
I was noticing that my phone would call people or look up things on the internet the other day when I wasn’t touching it last night I tried to call erc and it made the speaker go from on to off multiple time and then I started to think. When I downloaded this app a few times I noticed my phone would be dead service like no sending photos no phone calls or texts no internet connection on my google or safari. This only happens when I’m not at work or now trying to call erc. I even noticed after plugging my phone into charge at amazon my battery life plays tricks on me saying it’s dropping 2% every other second and or staying at 25% then says 1% not even a few minutes earlier. At first I though oh it just the battery is fading out. I even mentioned to someone that I said something completely alone and it was repeated to me by on of the amazon employees. Or I was on the train a few times once two Amazon employees when I got attacked by a bus driver trying to get to work and just and one I’m not to sure of but I was again speaking allowed walking alone at three thirty am to catch the n line when it ran at 445a to Union and called who ever was listening out and sure enough not even an hour and half later I met a guy telling me that he could protect me him and his eight friends which is crazy because I said to myself that no one is ever there to help take care of me no help no protection. Anyway this didn’t happen until the app even one day someone changed my password and try to sign me up for stow when I never wanted to go there. And it won’t let me clock in and out anymore not even on WiFi.

On 6/21/23 via email I was instructed to ship 2 boxes back to the seller. After I did I was to provide receipts, shipping information, I would then be reimbursed for the shipping cost. Its been phones calls, emails chats. I have been told at least 5 times by members of leadership that they will get this resolved and within days I receive an email that I'm not getting my refund. I cant get ahold of anyone I am now out 409.17. False information, no one ever gives me a phone number a real email address Please refund my money

I was sent the wrong item, and the seller didn't allow the 30 day guarantee
I have a flyer dated 6/1/23 that has mattress dimensions, on 6/10/23 I placed my order from my list showing a Queen size bedframe. On 6/15/23 2 boxes arrived at my home I never open them because they read full size. I contacted amazon immediately. To the right of the item description there's a 30 day guarantee, refund or exchange. I paid 126.00 in shipping at purchase. The seller insisted I ordered wrong and wouldn't provide a postage paid label. After contacting A-Z to report the seller, for making the offer on 180.00 refund and keep the frame, I declined. I was then instructed by Amazon to ship the boxes back and then they would reimburse when I provided documentation. I paid 409.17 to send those boxes back, 6/28, I haven't gotten my reimbursement. I have been told some one will be in touch within 6hrs, 1-3 days, 5-7 days, I request an email be sent to me before the call ends. Then silence, I don't understand why seller gets to resell the same item and profit, then I remember its because he's in the furniture business' I was told by Amazon several times that I would be reimbursed, they were going to let me be taken advantage of.
Desired outcome: I want my 409.17 refunded, just like I was told

Failure to support customer returns for items that are not serviceable anywhere but California
I live in Texas and we lost our cooling system. I purchased a mini split from a company in California. At the time i purchased it I knew nothing about refrigerants. The Company stated that the unit uses R32 refrigerant and that availability should be verified. When I put the unit in my purchased items. I saw that there were 2 identical purchases 2 18,000 BTU mini split a/c units by the same manufacture The one I tried to order and another that appeared to be the same but was $100.+ dollars cheaper. In my haste to stop the purchase of two units I cancelled the more expensive unit. When It arrived I had a HVAC installer ready. He told me that the Refrigerant used by this unit was not approved in any state except California. I immediately ordered the Identical unit same maker and same BTU and verified that the refrigerant used was approved for Texas. I contacted Amazon and they said it was approved for free return. The third party seller refused to accept the $200+ cost of return shipping and offered me $200. just to keep the unserviceable unit. I Contacted the seller 3 times with more information after the continued to refuse free return shipping I contacted Amazon and was told me I was approved for Amazon A-Z return and cancelled my dispute. The replied to my message that my dispute was closed. I am stuck holding the bag.
Desired outcome: Either seller to pay for return shipping or to have Amazon a-z guarantee refund the $860. cost of purchase.

Was told to send back my defective kids 24v power toy to Sopbost. Shipping was $493. It’s been two weeks and I still not have received my money. Despite calling three times our customer service agents tell me is there escalating the problem to Amazon A-to-Z guarantee. There’s no email to them, there’s no phone number, I’m left to deal with customer service. Highly frustrating and I feel like I’ve been stolen from. They monitor and record calls and I pray to God they can pull the call from July 2, 2023 when the supervisor told me exactly what to do instruction by instruction and I followed everything exactly the way she told me. Still waiting on my money.

It’s so many bugs on this app, it’s ridiculous! I cannot clock in or out, it won’t let me see my schedule no matter how many times I click the schedule button. This morning, it wouldn’t even let me put in for PTO time. I almost missed the time window and got my UPT deducted♀️ Luckily, I had my MacBook on hand so I was able to do it from my internet browser on there. Idk what’s going on but this app is very important and these issues need to be ADDRESSED & FIXED NOW! Tired of it. It’s a constant struggle with this app at this point.

Worst thing that Amazon has come up with , the app seems to work against you rather then helping you . It’s constantly racking up your points for no reason , forcing you to waste your time on the phone with HR , Your supposed to be able to drop any shift 16 hours before the start of that shift , but this app sneakily locks you in to some shifts not giving you the option to drop . If you can’t get a shift because there aren’t any available, you’ll get a point for that week due to no fault of your own , it’s unethical and should be against the law .
Communication is Horrible only downfall
Same, my situation was similar due to my spouse and our new born baby now 2(months) being affected by covid 19. When I got emails about my absence I replied to a message that said please respond then got a another email the next day saying replies aren’t available but there is literally no one to talk to, like ever. Even with the 1800 number the associates either hang up or just don’t know how to help... I’ll give the job, flexibility and benefits 100% but trying to implement these tools is it basically being non existent. Which basically makes it a regular job in America.
No VTO notifications
This app used to work just fine for me, but I don’t know if it was after the update or something, but about a month ago, I have not been getting any VTO/VET notifications at all. I asked some people around, and I know a few that has the same problems as well. They don’t receive the notifications but when they log in to the app, they see that there are offers that have been offered which were already full. Now it has gotten even worse for me, and I don’t receive VTO offers anymore, I asked people with the same shift as me, and they apparently were offered VTO for the same shift.
An Absolute Catastrophe And Waste Of Time
The newest update doubles down on the infrequent pop up ads in previous versions, downgrading them from simply being a nuisance to being a catastrophic waste of time. The 15 second unskippable ads prevent employees from accessing vital and potentially time-sensitive recourses, making it easier to simply avoid using the app altogether. In the future if I'm looking for employee recourses or VET opportunities I will be asking an on-site manager or HR for assistance, NOT sitting through a useless, irrelevant, and entirely unnecessary video presentation to access the things that I need.

Love clocking in and out from my phone. what I don't love is the forced advertisements within the app. this is a company app, are you really profiting off of the people that work for you? and now, they won't even load. I don't like them. compile them in a place where people can look at them, but don't force it onto me. It used to be a 5 second wait, you used to be able to get around it, now it is a 15 second wait and they have worked out the easily skippable trick. If you find this information so pertinent, it can easily be sent in an email without making the app itself frustrating.
Mentally ill and lazy workers at Amazon
Hello I am leaving this review because I would like for new employees or people that are looking to work at Amazon to be aware of the over acceptance of homosexuality and transsexuality at the Amazon work place. I have no problem with with homosexuals but when there are men dressing up as women and expecting to be identified as a “they” or a she when they are clearly a male as well as the other way around, it is unacceptable and for that same reason I have left Amazon. I worked there for a total of 2 months, 2 days a week and had enough of the Amazon experience it is by far the worst place I have ever worked at.

Pop up ads are annoying
As soon as the app loads you get a pop up ad about Dr. Vin Gupta that you are forced to watch for 15 seconds then you can click the skip button. If you don’t watch it and try to click on another section of the app, once it loads you’ll get another pop up ad until you give up and just watch the ad. Very annoying and very frustrating especially when you have to clock in and out with little time for ads. Get rid of the pop up and put Vin Gupta back in the “News” section. More over the application feels dry and stiff. Doesn’t feel like an amazon app should feel. This app needs an updated face. Make it more vibrant.
This App is trash along with Dolphin
Issues they should look into:
Schedule and time and day of shifts not corresponding to the correct time
Auto bot responses from HR when there are attendance points given and you’re trying to provide information as to why you shouldn’t have them.
Clunky response time and overall awkward places for certain issues
Dolphin software is horrendous and will flake out and throw you on a google page as you’re trying to scan packages.
There is no lock button in place to keep you from veering off onto another portion of the program.
The chime intermittently stops working and you’ll have to fidget with the zebra to fix it.
Flex associate VTO issue
I am a flex associate and get VTO offers through the app but every time I claim VTO it only covers the first shift so I have to either create a case or go to Hr and sometimes I have to do both because they will remove the points I got or sometimes they would add the VTO to the other shifts but if they just removed the point, after a day or two it would come right back. It such a headache having to create cases for every time I accept VTO. In this year they updated the Flex policy to include VTO as approved time off. So by the app not covering all of my shifts with the VTO, I wouldn’t meet my weekly requirements and would get a point.
Amazon is a fraud
So I was recently terminated after working a week and wasn’t giving an explanation as to why. So I emailed my manager and got no response and hr and nobody was answering the phone due to “technical difficulties “ for like 2 days! When I emailed hr one more time they told me that I have no hours doc for the week I worked and I worked 20hrs ! They told me I have to log into A to Z to fill in my missing punches but I am terminated and can’t even log into the app because they deleted me off the system! I will never work here again due to them being so unorganized and I will receive my money before I report that amazon site at Whole Foods!
Forced to watch corporate propaganda when trying to view pay information
Not at all loving how when I’m trying to access my pay information or punch in, the app randomly displays an internal advertisement that can’t be skipped or closed in any way for a solid fifteen seconds, and then has the temerity to ask me if it was relevant to me before ever so graciously permitting me to access the functionality I needed to use. No, it absolutely wasn’t relevant, and it never will be! Just another example of how much disrespect this soulless corporation has for the irreplaceable time of the people who work for it and provide the actual value that fuels the C-suite’s outrageous wealth.
Remove this “feature” and maybe I’ll edit this review.
Make it make sense
The app does freezes.
Canceled shifts turns to missing.
The ERC # redirects calls then hangs up.
HR is out of reach, page redirects.
Causes anxiety being contacted at odd hours of the day for infractions never happened.
On numerous times, I’ve been told to contact hr & their out of reach.
Others have had similar problems.
The markers for the communication board has been gone for a month, we been told it’s virtual, go online. Going online, this app won’t let you leave an email. The numbers provided is voice automated and no one shouldn’t have to sit on the phone 8+ mins pressing numbers to only be redirected when the app suggests needing more help contact call ERC.
Terrible App
Since day one this app has given me nothing but headaches. I went to school for graphic design, and know little about app development, but with the little level of education I do possess I KNOW it’s possible to develop an app that works. Believe it or not, you CAN write code that deal with issues such “daylight savings” and shifts that span from one day to the next! I shouldn’t have to stand in line at my sites HR EVERY time I take a VTO… because the system can’t figure out how to VTO BOTH parts of the shift (FLEX employees - you know what I’m saying!). Code can be written that can fix all of this, but obviously Amazon isn’t all that bright when it comes to hiring app developers.
HORRIBLE!
I have been working for Amazon for a year and using this app (AtoZ) to pick my shifts and keep track of my PTO (paid time off). Last week it all of a sudden stopped keeping track of my PTO… which means if I’m running late or I’m sick or any reason I need to use my PTO I can NOT!
I have opened up many tickets regarding this matter and nobody has fixed this issue!
I’m going on 12days now not being able to request PTO. If Iam late, or can’t show up for a shift employees get occurrences, 3 occurrences and your terminated! THIS IS ABSURD THAT AMAZON HAS NOT ADDRESSED THIS ISSUE.
NÉXT STEP IS TO FILE AN ETHICS CLAIM!
SHAME ON AMAZON FOR NOT ADDRESSING THIS VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE THAT CAN RESULT IN MY TERMINATION!
