AAG: Exceptional service and support - Highly recommended for financial assistance
At first, it was kinda tough with AAG because the person helping me out was not very professional. You can just tell that she didn't quite know what she was doing. But then AAG stepped in and hooked me up with another agent who was the exact opposite - she knew her stuff and wasn't messing around. She really went the extra mile to make sure that I got exactly what I needed. And you know what? Everything is working out great now! I couldn't be happier with the support that I got from AAG. Now I'm in the process of renovating my condo after 20 long years of not being able to do anything because I didn't have the money. But thanks to these guys, I finally have some extra cash to play with. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the service that I received and would recommend AAG to anyone who needs a little extra help.
Quick and Seamless: A Satisfying Experience with American Advisors Group for Reverse Mortgages
Me and my son talked about reverse mortgages and I gotta say, I was a bit hesitant at first. But eventually, I decided to go for it since I'm already 67 years old anyway. Sharon from American Advisors Group helped me through the process and boy, she was quick! Even though we had to wait for a few more days for the paperwork to be done, Sharon made sure everything was handled. I would definitely recommend AAG to other people who are considering reverse mortgages. Thanks, AAG!
AAG Reverse Mortgage Review: Sweet Deal Turned Nightmare with Terrible Customer Service
So, me and my wife got hooked up with AAG for a reverse mortgage. It was a pretty sweet deal at first, but lemme tell ya something, if you wanna get out of that mess, good luck buddy! 'Cause dealing with their customer service is like trying to give a cat a bath, impossible! These guys have no empathy for absolutely any situation, like zero, nada, zilch. If you're lucky enough to get to the managers, well don't hold your breath, 'cause they ain't never gonna take your call. And good luck gettin' a call back after you leave a voicemail. If you got an option to do business somewhere else, do it! I wouldn't recommend AAG to my worst enemy. The only thing that's worse than their customer service is Tom Selleck's commercial representation for them. Seriously, guy?
AAG Reverse Mortgage Review: Hassle-Free Home Loan with Ownership Assurance
I was really curious about AAG and how it works with a reverse mortgage. Talking to one of their agents, I had a big question in my mind – will AAG own my home? I was relieved when the answer was no, I would still be the owner of my home, as long as I followed some simple rules. I just have to keep my property in good condition, pay my taxes and HOA dues if I have any – that's it! And you know what, I can even stay in my home for life! That's amazing.
Robin was the agent who helped me understand the whole process, and I must say, she is the best agent I've ever dealt with. She explained everything in a way that I could understand, and I felt comfortable asking her all my doubts. Honestly, I was a bit apprehensive about the whole thing, but Robin assuaged all my fears and concerns.
I'm so happy I went with AAG for my reverse mortgage. They made it so easy and straightforward. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle-free home loan.
Mixed Experience with American Advisors Group Loan Process and Customer Support
The lady who helped me out during the loan process was really great and helpful. But my experience with the customer service team afterwards left a really bad taste in my mouth. The issue arose when I was trying to log into my account and couldn't. I called up the company and spoke with one of their representatives. But it seemed like they didn't really care at all about my problem! They had a very uncaring and unhelpful attitude and didn't seem to want to do anything to fix the issue. I had the exact same problem a few days ago and when I reported it to them, they didn't fix the issue for around 6 days, which was really frustrating. I feel like their customer support team needs to work on their attitude towards customers and not treat them like they are wasting their time. I would suggest looking around and checking out other options first before going for American Advisors Group.
A Review of American Advisors Group: Making My Retirement Dreams a Reality
My house was paid off for a long time and I wanted to make it even better. I also wanted to have extra money in case of an emergency or to go on some trips. I had seen American Advisors Group advertised on TV before, but I put it off for a while because I thought it was too good to be true.
One day, I decided to finally give them a call and that's when I met Thomas Norfleet. He was so nice and patient with me, he explained everything I needed to know in a way that I could understand. He was always there to guide me through the whole process and he made it really easy for me.
Whenever I had a question, he would answer my emails and phone calls quickly. I never felt like I was being ignored or forgotten about. He made me feel like I was important and that my needs mattered.
Finally, I got the result that I wanted. Because of American Advisors Group, I was able to make some improvements to my home and even go on a few trips that I had always dreamed of. I was so grateful for their help and I would definitely recommend them to my fellow retirees and friends.
Overall, American Advisors Group is a great company that really cares about their customers. They made the whole process easy and stress-free. I would definitely use them again if I needed to and I would suggest anyone else who needs some extra money to do the same.
Outstanding Customer Service & Simplified Reverse Mortgage Options by American Advisors Group
Customer service from American Advisors Group (americanadvisorsgroup.com) was incredible, especially from Mr Fernandez. When I first approached him, I was worried about how complex these loans can be. But Fernandez put all my worries to rest and promised to help me understand all the options available to me. And the amazing thing is, he came through on his promise! He really simplified everything, and it was easy to understand all the different aspects of the loan.
When it came to fees, I was happy with my APR, which was fairly reasonable. The fees did come in at quite a bit with mortgage insurance, origination fees, and service fees all added up. But it's not very different from other mortgages, so I guess that's just how things are. The loan I got was quite extensive, running well into the five-figure range, but it is what it is. I'd rather pay a bit more and be able to enjoy the benefits than not have them at all.
Speaking of benefits, I'm very happy with the reverse mortgage. No need to fret about any potential downturns in the economy - I know that I'm secure for the next five years, maybe more, thanks to this. There are so many numbers and different scenarios to keep track of, though - it can be overwhelming. But if you bring up your own ideas and concerns, they'll help guide you in the right direction. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience with American Advisors Group and highly recommend them to anyone looking into reverse mortgages.
Stay Far Away from American Advisors Group - Sleazy Company with Appalling Customer Service
American Advisors Group, or AAG for short, is a company that has been around for quite some time. They claim to offer reverse mortgages to seniors who want to access the equity in their homes. However, my experience with them has been nothing but disappointing.
First of all, their appraisal process is a joke. I had three real estate agents evaluate my property, and AAG still decided to lowball me by 70k. I should have taken this as a red flag, but I was in desperate need of cash, so I went ahead with the loan.
Once the loan was closed, that's when the real trouble began. If you have any issues with your loan, good luck trying to get in touch with a living person. Their phone numbers are nothing but recorded messages that lead you in circles. If you manage to get through to someone, they will give you a fax number or an email address to send your documents to. But don't hold your breath waiting for a response.
I've been trying to reach a real person since November of 2020, and I still haven't had any luck. I had to reapply to a tax relief program in my city due to COVID, and despite having received approval, AAG still managed to mess things up. They paid the tax themselves, and now they're asking me to pay them back an exorbitant amount of money. They won't respond to my emails or faxes, and I'm left feeling frustrated and cheated.
It's clear that AAG's only focus is on getting your home. Once they have your loan, you're on your own. Their customer service is nonexistent, and it's appalling to see a company treat their customers this way. It's ironic to me that they have someone who has time to answer reviews, but they can't spare a second to help their clients.
In conclusion, I would not recommend American Advisors Group to anyone looking for a loan. They are not to be trusted, and their lack of customer support is unacceptable. Stay far away from this sleazy company.
Outstanding Customer Service from Jennifer Feliciano at AAG - A Rockstar in the Reverse Mortgage Industry!
Jennifer Feliciano from American Advisors Group (AAG) made me feel like a VIP. I mean, if I could give her 10 stars, I would. Going the reverse mortgage route is a big decision because it involves your home, your future, and your peace of mind. Jennifer took her time to help me understand the process and what everything meant. Honestly, AAG wasn't even my first choice. I browsed through the reviews and called another company first. However, their eagerness to pressure me into signing papers without really explaining anything quickly turned me off, so I switched to AAG.
And boy, am I glad I did because Jennifer is simply a rockstar. She took the time to get to know me and what I needed. Her knowledge of reverse mortgage was beyond impressive. This is unlike those commercial pitches by actors or retired sport stars that we all tune out because they are, well, reading a script and do not have any real knowledge of the process. Jennifer was the real deal. She made sure I understood everything, and that made me feel so much more comfortable.
But what really sealed the deal for me was when she went out of her way to respond to my email while she was on vacation. Do you know how remarkable that is? She took the time to address my concerns and help me, even when she was meant to be relaxing. Now, that is real customer service, and it's one that I'll never forget.
If AAG has more people like Jennifer on their team, they are lucky. I highly recommend AAG and Jennifer, and I'll be sure to mention my fantastic experience to my friends and family. I can't thank them enough for making this whole process so incredibly smooth and easy.
Beware of Lack of Transparency with American Advisors Group's Reverse Mortgage Program: My Experience
I recently had a conversation with Maurice, a representative from American Advisors Group (AAG), about their Reverse Mortgage Program. I must admit, the conversation was quite frustrating and a bit heated. I simply wanted some straightforward answers regarding the program, specifically how it works and the fees associated with it. However, Maurice continued to sing the praises of the program, stating that it was a wonderful opportunity for adults over the age of 62, and that borrowers never have to pay back the loan for the rest of their lives.
My concerns were valid - nothing in life is free, so I wanted to know who was making money off this program. But Maurice refused to address my concerns and would not give me the information I needed, such as average interest rates, any fees that could be charged, or the closing costs. I even provided Maurice with my mortgage balance, property value, household income, and our ages, but he still could not give me any applicable fees or costs.
To make matters worse, Maurice insisted that he needed both my and my husband's Social Security Numbers before he could give me any information about the costs involved in securing the loan. I found this to be a terrible policy, and I refuse to have my credit pulled all over town. Other companies specializing in reverse mortgages did not require this information from me. They were much more forthcoming with the information I needed to make an informed decision about whether a reverse mortgage was right for me. These other companies were willing to share the average fees and closing costs, as well as any other relevant fees such as origination fees, third-party fees, and insurance costs.
After this experience with AAG, I will be comparing the costs proposed by several companies before I decide who I will work with during this process. Some companies are levying much higher fees than others, and I want to make sure I am making the right financial decision.
It was disappointing to hear Maurice say that his lack of transparency was representative of AAG's policies as a company. If this is how they treat their elderly clients, then they have a lot of work to do in terms of customer service. I did not appreciate being treated as if I was stupid and ignorant, and I'm sure many others feel the same way.
In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone seeking a Reverse Mortgage Loan to be very wary of American Advisors Group at this point. Their lack of transparency and customer service leaves much to be desired.

Terrible Experience: Slow Response Time, High Rates, and Outrageous Charges - Avoid at All Costs!
this company is so slow, its like watching paint dry. I waited for weeks for them to get back to me, and when they finally did, their rates were higher than anyone else's. I was also shocked by how much they wanted to charge me for their services. It was outrageous! Honestly, I would rather punch myself in the face than work with these guys again. Save yourself some time and money and look elsewhere!
Review of American Advisors Group: Unexpected High Loan Amount and Confusing Statements
So, I was trying to get my hands on $25,000, ya know. And these folks over at American Advisors Group (americanadvisorsgroup.com) said I was qualifyin' for $64,000! Crazy, right? But here's the catch, they didn't tell me 'bout the interest on the balance that I didn't pay back yet. So they give me the $25k and I'm suppose to be payin' 5% interest on the rest of that $64k. But lemme tell ya, it's actually a little less than that and I ain't quite sure why. And the statements they're sendin' me, oof, it's like they're written in a different language or somethin'. Hard to understand, that's for sure.
