American Automobile Association [AAA] jc towing&auto

On may 31, I had towing service from aaa. Per recommendation from the driver I was towed to j&c towing n auto. One of your aaa approved facilities.

They were the most unprofessional service I have ever dealt with! One of the employees was actually sitting there with his hands down his pants! I was shocked!

I was just charged almost 90.00 for another year of aaa plus membership. If this is the type of service that represents aaa, I would rather have my membership cancelled then to ever deal with a place like j&c ever again.

American Automobile Association [AAA] roadside service

May 31 at about ten, left the theatre in Winslow az, walked to their parking lot across the street, to the lights left on my car and the battery dead. Called AAA, got through the automated system, got put on hold for 20 minutes, call dropped, process repeated, second 20 minute hold. What's the address she said.i said I don't have an address for the parking lot I'm in, but I just left the theatre. She looks it's up, states the address, I say yes that's it! We could have been in business from right then, but she wanted to be deliberately obtuse.. she says I need the address for where you are located. I say I don't have the address. Come to the theatre.. she says what's the address to the theatre. I say I don't know . You know. You have it. You just said it. She says she doesn't know if that's the right address. I say it is. It's the only theatre in this town. She says she don't know if that's the right one. I say yes it is. She says she can't send someone if I don't give her the address. I say I don't know the address. You know the address. You told it to me.what am I supposed to do. What do you want damn. She says you don't get to talk to me like that. Blah blah blah blah blah blah... I say quit talking. I will go walk to the entrance of the theatre. She says what's the address to the theatre. I say I don't have the address you have the address. Do you want a different address. I will go walk down the street to the street signs to give you a different address. I also need your name so I can talk to a supervisor about this later. The address is first and kinsley Winslow az. But she had, already put me back on hold. Her name is selena.

American Automobile Association [AAA] roadside assistance

Today is day four of attempting to have my camper towed I've spoken to I believe six managers at this point and pretty much there has been no communication between the tow driver and dispatch the first day they sent out the wrong truck apparently that guy made up some excuse and said that the trailer is is okay to be moved doesn't need repair which it definitely does he didn't even move or do anything to it so I don't know how he'd be able to tell any mechanical failures secondary which I have taken off 3 days to work as of now then they brought up that it was a registered which it is I just had to put the plate on yet the third day they brought up wires that needed to be moved and pushed up which has been taken care of also last night when I spoke to the manager's manager it proves everything it said I just need to take photos of the wire being moved and there be no problem having a talk same with the tow truck driver was okay with everything after calling in this morning the same lady who who calls me in the morning and makes up more excuses by the day this situation has gotten so ridiculous that I had my mom AAA member since 1979 call today who is dying of pancreatic cancer just so you know and they did what they did to me which is change the blame from Wisconsin where it's originally set up and Colorado pretty much just prolonging getting the job done the inconsistency and unprofessional this is completely out of hand your operators aren't even able to access notes that the managers put in the previous night and I'm more concerned with finding excuses than trying to fix problems I expect a phone call back at [protected] today and if I don't hear from you Monday I will be going to the Better Business Bureau and getting into corporate I don't know what has happened with your company over the last five years but is completely disintegrated with your customer service my name is James Donovan J Donovan is the membership I've been a member almost 12 13 years with you my assumptions are is that I have an RV membership and the camper is a fifth wheel and there seems not to be any towing companies that can take care that but my question is why you have an RV membership then if you're not able to give service the same way you do with cars I hope we can get this moved as quickly as possible I don't have time or energy to be on the phone with AAA 4 hours a day every expectation that you needed for me I have taken care of quickly and correctly only to be taken back by your complete negligence I look forward to speaking to someone that actually could get some stuff done

In the past, I was a member of AAA for over 15 years. We left and returned back this month. I visited this location on 5/24/2019. My concern was the new Kiosk station. Although I'm older I know how to use this. I'm all for things advancing, but my concern is for other older people that don't know how to use it. This was my experience that day. We walked in...

American Automobile Association [AAA] a disney trip I was scammed on

I am extremely upset. I booked a Disney trip through Laura Ferguson at AAA in Rochester, NY and paid UP FRONT for a preferred pool view room but got the cheaper standard room that was really super far from the pool and everything else. I talked to the hotel and they said, that even though I paid up front for the $15 more per day preferred room, the agent just pocketed that money and gave me the cheaper standard room. The agent refused to refund the difference. From the beginning she was messing things up. I paid up front for the room as soon as I booked the trip. Then I added a few days to the end because I needed to have medication shipped to the hotel and I wasn't sure if it would arrive in time. She gave me a quote for that and then when I called to pay by phone by credit card she tried to give me a totally different (higher) price. Then she said oh my bad it is this lower price. So I paid for it. Then a few days before my trip, I tried to book fast passes for the last day of our trip and couldn't. It was then that I realized that she hadn't even booked us for the last night. I called her back and she said oh my mistake I didn't see that. So then she kept changing her story on the price of the last day and we finally settled on it and she took our money. No where in there did she say that we were downgraded to the cheaper room that we had already paid for the more expensive room in advance for. We didn't realize this until we got here and saw where the room was, a million miles from everything and facing nothing. When I tried to contact her about it, she could care less. She just said that the room she corrected (from her own mistake) at the end should have been way more expensive than it was and that made up the difference owed us for the downgraded room. That is total lies because the manager at our hotel said that they would never have quoted her that price for one room. She was claiming that, even though we paid more than $162 for one night at the cheapest disney hotel on they have, that it should have been $15 x 8 = $120 more? No way. What a total scam artist!

American Automobile Association [AAA] aaa roadside service

On 5/2/2019 called for a tow at a park in knoxville, tn @ 6:30pm. I was with my 86 year old parents & dog. Told may be up to 8:20pm max arrival time which u accepted! Called 2nd time after 8pm & then told be 8:40pm +! Requested to speak to supervisor for explaination & was hung up on! Called 3rd time & spoke to supervisor. Got nothing but wasted lip service! No legit explaination as to why such a delay in perfect weather! Got text telling me be 9:15pm before possible tow! Finally tow truck arrives 10pm! Waited 3.5 hours for a tow in a metro city! Stranded at a closed city park, no lighting, in total darkness, turned into an extremely dangerous situation! In addition I am type 1 diabetic & desperately need my insulin! Due to this unjustified stress, trying to care for my family & dog, & lack of needed insulin ~ my glucose level could not be read by glucose monitor (over 55o)! Due to high stress, high glucose, diabetic complications, darkness due to time of night~ missed step getting out of tow truck & fell to the ground receiving several injuries! I was majorly disappointed with the service from aaa! The tow truck drive was awesome however! I strongly encourage everyone to drop there aaa roadside service membership! It is a sad joke & waste of money! Aaa put my family, my dog, & me in an extremely dangerous situation plus endangered my health & caused me personal injury! I actually have 2 attorneys currently on retainer (which you can confirm on line as fact)! I may confir with them about my many legal options directly against aaa for their gross negligence in honoring their contract with me thus causing bodily injury & potential hospitalization! This was a totally unjustified situation!

American Automobile Association [AAA] auto claim #[protected]

I have sent three recent emails to Tasy Hill and called three times. Her voicemail is from April 15 and states that someone will get back to me. No one has picked up her claims or responded. I am trying to resolve this claim and I am ready to hire an attorney to bring closure to this case. I was hit by your client on 1/31/18 which caused a concussion, loss of work and significant health issues.
Please respond to this email or call ASAP.

American Automobile Association [AAA] claim adjuster

Hi, my name is Karishma Arora. My Claim # is [protected]. Adjustor name: Corina McKittrick.
I'm not happy with the way my claim is being handled. The accident happened on April 16th around 8am and I called AAA at around noon. My adjustor called me around 1pm and we went over all the details. She said based on the initial analysis, I'm not at fault but she needs to do investigation before she can assess liability.
The outcome of the first call (4/16/19): She will investigate on this and get back to me if the other party involved accepts the fault (she didn't see a reason why they wouldnt), and I go for the initial car inspection so we can get an estimate on the damages. She kept emphasizing that if the damage is less than the deductible then we have no claim.

I did not hear back from AAA for 9 days and yesterday I decided to give the adjustor a call to check on the status.

In this second call, she told me she can't make any progress till I go for my car inspection because she doesn't know the damages. I kept telling her that it shouldn't affect the progress on finding out who is liable for it, because if I'm not at fault, I am not going to pay for it. She told me so far she bas contacted the insurance company only once, on April 17th I believe, and they told her that they are still investigating. She hadn't reached out to them till April 25th and only after I pointed it out, she said she will reach out to them again. She is so focussed on whether my car damage is below or above the deductible that it's not even a priority to find out who's liable. I don't pay for my insurance so you can pick and choose the cases you want to handle if you don't have to pay for it.
She told me "I have hundreds of claims I work on, yours is just one of them" and so things take time and hence she has no update for me on the liability front.
She asked me to go for initial inspection of the car, and if that is less than the deductible then she will forward me the info of the other party's insurance and I personally have to take it up with them.

Is this really the kind of service that I should be expecting from AAA when it's not even my fault? If you don't have to pay for it (assuming the damages are less than the deductible) then I don't have a claim and there would be no work put into it.

I kept telling her that given I have insurance with AAA, I take it that you'll handle the claim for me and solve the case because I'm not paying for something where it's not my fault, and she kept saying that she will move forward with it only if my damages are more than the deductible.

This just gives me the sense that she is more concerned about herself and the hundreds of claims she has to handle, over the customer's needs.

I don't pay $200 a month to you so you can only fight for me and investigate by putting your best foot forward only if the damage is above the deductible. Otherwise it's the customer's responsibility to call the other insurance company and figure it out!

American Automobile Association [AAA] roadside assistance

I had a flat tire on a bridge and i called Aaa to help. The guy came, didnt check if i have a spare tire and insisted us to go to good year in cupertino. I told him that i live in san jose and insisted him to to switch my tire as i found to have a spare tire in the trunk. The servjce guy refused to do the job and leave us in the dark without further instruction of what to do. I am glad that my cousin was around tl help and this was such a bad experience. He did nothing beside towing my car. Didnt check my id nor do anything. The service request number is #38412 and the driver license plate is 55152G1. I dont know the guy name and his information but he has done an unreputable job and it really made me consider cancel my Membership due to this experience.

American Automobile Association [AAA] roadside service

Membership is in wife's name Phyllis Balan

Date of incident.
We were in the parking lot of Walmart at 8901 US 19 Port Richey FL. The car made a clicking noise and would not start.
I called the 800 Roadside Help # and was given the run around.
Stupid questions like are you calling from AZ, Nevada, CA.
I kept repeating FLORIDA FLORIDA but that dopey machine had no clue. After being transferred to 3 people I finally got somebody
who promised to send somebody in 30 mins. That means 20 mins plus 30 =50 mins. Totally unacceptable. We have been members since 1996 and your wonderful high tech system kept insisiting they could'nt find us. What a croc. We never had any problem when you had a human being answering the calls. One of the shoppers gave us a jump got us on our way.
We will have to reconsider weather to renew our membership.

American Automobile Association [AAA] cancellation of membership 4290474216574002

To whom it may concern,

I am sending this communication based on the bad experience I have had with AAA services. I reinstated my membership on March 16, 2019, however, due to dissatisfied service I requested that my membership be cancelled on March 22, 2019 and for a full refund to be credited back to my account. The customer service agent verbally cancelled my account and communicated to me that the fund will be credited within 2 weeks. Upon checking the status of the refund today April 9, 2019 there was no such credit. I contacted AAA again to get more information as to why my account was not credited, and I was told it had to go through processing, then I was told I will not get my refund. Please check your recorded information on the first time I called for the cancellation on March 22, 2019 to get full verification and please proceed with my full refund. I have not used AAA services since I have reinstated my membership.

Thank you,

American Automobile Association [AAA] towing

I have triple A plus, so I called and requested my car be towed from my home to a garage. The man asked if I would be unsafe to drive it there. He got upset with my answer, put me on hold and told me I would have to pay for my own tow. This happened today at 4/5/19 afternoon. I told him I'm going to call to cancel my membership when it renews in June. He said, "you do what you need to do."

American Automobile Association [AAA] towing

My vehical needed to be towed called in at 5:55 pm they took my report and said someone would call me within 15 minutes. I received a call letting me know that because of the service back log demand that they would be there around 7:15-7:30 pm. I asked if they could get another tow company and they said I had to call aaa. So I called aaa and she said they would check on that. She came back and advised me that the routing dept is working on getting someone else. After about 15 minutes they said they will text me when someone was on there way. At 7:30 I called and they said since I cancelled the first tow company I was put on a list for the next available tow company. I don't know who cancelled the first tow, I asked if they could get someone out there sooner not cancel the first tow company. 8 pm I called for an update and they couldn't get a tow truck out there. 8:30 pm same thing. Finally at 9 pm they said they were sending someone, they arrived at 9:15 pm. Then we had to go to the repair place. The whole ordeal lasted over 3 1/2 hours. I find this un acceptable. Your business is emergency towing and the 45 minutes your expect was well over 3 hours. This did not seem like emergency it seemed like "oh whenever we get out". I could understand if I was out in a mountain area but I was in town in the middle of an intersection. Ticket number is 37447 fresno ca

American Automobile Association [AAA] renter’s insurance

In January, we filed a claim [protected]) against our rental policy for water damage due to a faulty drain pipe. We have gone through numerous claims adjusters, ignored for weeks at a time, and when I just called for status, four months after the damage, I was told that we are not covered.
In addition, in October of last year, we had sold our house, and had purchased a new house that required remodeling. We needed to rent a home while we were performing the work. Our agent set us up with a homeowners policy for the new home and then sold us a separate policy for the rental. In the series of people handling our water damage claim, one of them told us that we were covered by the homeowners policy and that we never needed the rental policy.
So the net result here is that you are denying our claim for damage to our antique rugs and have been gouging us for an unneeded rental policy for the last six months. This situation needs to be set right. I'm giving you one chance to do so before seeking legal guidance on our next steps.

American Automobile Association [AAA] no accountability for selling a false sense of security and a total lack of integrity to correct negligent behavior.

At 0700 on January 1st 2019 I contacted AAA for two tows in able to make it to work that day. The first vehicle was the 2009 Scion TC that had a snapped timing belt (Service # 30124), the second vehicle was a 1997 Rav4 that simply would not start (Service #29927). Shortly after the call I was notified by AAA the tows could not be provided by Highlands Auto Wreckers due to snow and to call back later. At noon that same day I called again once the roads had been plowed, AAA said they would dispatch their towing vehicles and ensured that I would receive text messages regarding updates. After a couple hours I had received no updates and the trucks still had not arrived so I called AAA again and was told the roads were still bad and the tow company (Highlands Auto Wreckers) would not be able to make it until later. At 1600 later that day I called for a fourth time to see if the towing company would be available. I was notified the towing company (Highlands Auto Wreckers) was refusing to come to my location and that a complaint would be filed against them and that I would be contacted in a couple of days regarding the complaint. At this time I was also told to call again the following morning so AAA could schedule both tows with a company other than Highlands Auto Wreckers. The next morning on January 2nd, 2019 at 0700 I called and scheduled to have the vehicles towed with a very specific note for both service numbers on each vehicle. The noted specified not to contact Highland Auto Wreckers due to their continuous excuses. However, two hours later I had to call back because no service was dispatched. At this time I spoke to a Supervisor, Stephanie Garcia, who assured me the problem would be taken care of with no exception, that both tows would be of the highest priority, and not to worry because she would personally take care of the situation. An hour later I received a call from a AAA representative who stated Highlands Auto Wreckers would not be able to come to my location. I had to explain to them for the sixth time the situation and I was finally transferred to Stephanie Garcia again who explained to me I would need to find my own means of towing now 27 HOURS after my initial call to AAA and I would have to file for reimbursement. After one phone call to another towing company I was able to ascertain their service and have both cars towed within a couple of hours. The reason why having the vehicles towed was such a high priority is because I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist at our local hospital. My main responsibility in this position is responding to all codes, intubations, traumas, and life threatening situations in which case life support is utilized. Hence my need for reliable towing, which in this case was negligent by AAA. Stephanie Garcia ultimately denied my reimbursement claim because extrication was involved before the towing. I fully understand extrication is not covered in my policy, however I feel because I pay for towing services the towing portion of the reimbursement claim should be reimbursed. AAA still refuses to reimburse this.

American Automobile Association [AAA] automobile insurance

Policy # TPA [protected]

Auto Club County Mutual Insurance Company

My name is Helen Herron, and I have been a AAA Texas policy holder for over 13 years. I have had Auto, Home and Membership with AAA Texas for over 13 years. In all my years with AAA I have never been late, not once on my policy premiums or even considered cancelling my AAA insurance.

On Thursday, February 21, 2019, I learned my son's auto insurance policy only had "liability insurance", unbeknownst to me. Prior to this, he had a 2012 BMI 328I, that he received for his 16th birthday (August 23, 2015). Which had full coverage 100/300/100 plus Comp/Collision insurance ($1000 deductible). In February/March 2018, my son's 2012 BMW 328I was taken into the BMW for repairs to the front passenger tire. It was then that AAA totaled his BMW. We were given the value of the car, somewhere around $15K and we took that money and bought another vehicle.

In March 2018, I called AAA added my son's 2015 Jeep Wrangler (value at about $40K), which was paid in full. I then directed the Customer Service rep to keep the same coverage on the policy and the same coverages that he had on the BMW. I'm sure there are records somewhere that recorded this conversation, because there is no way I would've sent my son off to College with liability insurance on an expensive vehicle.

Anyone can review my insurance history and should've known that this was an error on AAA Texas part because of how much insurance we carry and the types of vehicles we have.

I want to also add that my son had the Good Grades discount, which is now removed from the policy. So I'm in the process of getting his grades from his College (University of Houston) and sending them to AAA.

I am extremely upset that my son had to take time out of his business day of studying for exams and testing to go all the way across town in Houston to a AAA Texas branch just to take pictures of his vehicle. Not once when I added his car did they say anything about taking pictures to add his truck to this policy. Which he took it into a AAA Branch in Houston today, after he finish taking his exam today.

My point is there is no way I added a $40K vehicle to my policy and only wanted Liability Insurance. The fact that when I talked to a supervisor he states that "some people do this and we can't just believe you wouldn't have liability only." I was insulted and would hate to think that any race discrimination was happening to me.

I would like someone to investigate this and find the transcript to prove that I actually had full coverage and this error was not my fault. Then I want this situation corrected to reflect the coverages that I thought were on the policy.

Sincerely,

Helen Herron
