I recently visited this medical provider and had an incredibly disappointing experience. I have dual insurance coverage: my primary insurance is billed first, and once they issue an EOB, it is forwarded to my secondary insurance. My secondary insurance typically covers the amount equivalent to or greater than my primary insurance co-pay, so I never have to pay out-of-pocket co-pays at any medical provider. However, this facility refused to acknowledge this process and insisted I pay the co-pay upfront.
I explained my situation, but they still demanded payment before seeing me. When I refused to pay, they told me they couldn’t provide services unless I paid the co-pay. To add to the frustration, the front desk receptionist said she would call my secondary insurance to clarify, but instead, she called her supervisor. As a result, I left without receiving any treatment, and they ended up making zero dollars from my visit.
This experience was highly unprofessional and frustrating. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone with similar insurance arrangements.
