Since my mother, who was the account holder, passed away in 2022, The account number is G40920. I have been attempting to receive the distribution of a death benefit. I finally received a check in January, but it was made out incorrectly, to a trust, when it should have been an estate. The previous check for RMD in December 2023 was made out correctly. I was told when I called in mid-January that the incorrect check would be voided and that I could expect the corrected one shortly. That has been over two months. It does not take that long to reissue a check. Two phone calls and an email have resulted in nothing. I need help to get this resolved without further delay. Thank you. The most recent case number is 2760845, dated 1-29-24.

Claimed loss: 14,686.17

Desired outcome: A check for the amount above, reissued to the correct payee: the Estate.

I received an incorrect 1099-R in the first week of February. Instead of the estate, to which the payment was correctly made, the 1099R was made to my deceased mother. I called customer service to have them order a corrected one. I made a call about two weeks later, to find that there was no news about it. I then emailed on 3-6-24 to say I urgently need the IRS form to file taxes for the estate of my deceased mother. I have not received any response nor have I received the form. Please help.
