I have used AmericanFlags.com for 15 years with no issue until this year. I ordered a flag, it never came (after 2 months). I reached out to the company for an update and never got anyone to respond. I then left a message and stated I would like them to refund the charge they put on my credit card over a month ago. I got no response. No response and no flag or flagpole. Guess this company has gone down hill in the past years. Will be using a different company going forward.
Ordered flag July 5th. Have not received it yet. Call or e-mail eveyday asking for my money or my flag. Got one vague e-mail which just gave the same old song and dance. Of course like everyone else they took my money right away. Perhaps they should put that department in charge they seem to have no problem getting things done quickly.At what point does it become fraud or even theft. The flag was supposed to be for my pier. By the time I get it if I get it at all it will be time to take the pier out of the water. At this point I just want my money back.

Finally got a response from Jeff saying they flagged my account and it should update in a week. That was June 27th. It's now August 1st and I've heard NOTHING. I've sent 2 more e-mails requesting a refund and still have not heard a thing. Should have never taken my order and my money if you couldn't fulfill the order.

All we want is our flag. $150.00 taken from our account on 6/12 and no flag and no answers to a delivery date... They blame Covid. I have received numerous other deliveries, so stop blaming Covid. Another terrible customer service review. BEWARE ! 2 weeks of emails and voicemails trying to find out when my flag will be shipped. No reply. Way too late, no longer need the flag so I asked to cancel my order. No reply. Began the dispute process through *** and the next day I received an email saying my order was shipped and should arrive in one week. (I paid extra for expedited delivery). But I don't want the flag anymore! I asked multiple times for them to refund my credit card that they charged it the day I placed the order. I asked again for a refund and a prepaid shipping label if they want me to return the flag to them. Still no response. Please stop advertising on your website the most orders ship in 1-2 days. According to many, many review online, this doesn't seem to be true. However, they are good at charging your credit card right away. That's the only evidence I have that someone may still actually works there.
It has been 1 month today since you took my money thru *** and I have repeatedly emailed and called only to hear that the voicemail box is full. This makes me so angry. I will seek to have this resolved thru ***.

As every review before of this company, I too have had a terrible experience. Immediately took the charge on my credit card then sent a "boiler-plate" email of how wonderful they are. After weeks of attempting contact by phone, email & via the web site without success I disputed the charge with my credit card company. This is one charlatan.

Looks like there is a trend here. Ordered flag on 6/18 and have heard nothing from the company as of 7/7. Have tried calling and emailing them with zero response, and still no flag or any indication it's ever coming. I get that Covid can cause delays, but why can you not return my calls or emails and update me on what's happening? If it's delayed, just tell me. I'll be buying elsewhere next time.

Thoroughly disappointed
Thoroughly disappointed. Ordered flag 6/28; sent follow up e-mails mid-July and got reply that it was COVID's fault. Requested to know when I could expect the flag. No response. Cancelled order 7/27. No reply, no refund. Contacted credit card company and working that route now. I will give them one more week to refund my $94.25 or I will warn all my hundreds of friends on *** not to do business with American Flags. I will urge them to repost and in this way, notify thousands to look someplace else for flags.

Can't rate a product I never received, but one star for customer service. Ordered flag in May, never received product. Credit card was charged immediately and I have already had to pay for it. Phone calls to customer service are not answered and I have emailed asking for either a ship date or a refund/cancellation and can get no response. I would have been more understanding had they not taken my money already, or at least honored my request to cancel the order and refund it so I could purchase at my local hardware store. My next stop is to try and recover it from the credit card company.

i placed an order on 5/*/20 for the Deluxe Flag kit. My shipment was missing the clips to attach the flag to the pole. I emailed but that was returned so i called. Someone answered and said no problem, they would mail those clips out for me. As of 7//20 i still have not received the clips and no one answers either phone number listed or returns my calls. I had to buy another flag at the store just so i could fly it on July *** and continue to do so. I continue to call changing the message from my request for the missing parts to a request for an RMA # which they need to return an item. Still no answer or return call.

Hello, I recently purchased a US flag and flagpole from AmericanFlags.com. The purchase price was $154.00. I ordered the product on 3/29 and received several days later as expected. After displaying the flag for ~7 days a small plastic peice of the flag pole broke off. The flag and pole are now unusable. I first reached out to the customer service department on 5/12 regarding this issue. I emailed back and forth with "Lori." I sent photos of the damage and so on. On May 19th, I received an email from "Lori" stating the the damage seen in the photos were a result of "normal wear and tear" and that the return/exchange policy is 30 days. Since then, I have called on the phone on May 20th and also on 5/25. Both times I was able to speak with a customer service representative and was told they would "forward this issue to a manager as urgent" and that I should expect a phone call back shortly. I have yet to receive any such phone call in return.
