I have a home warranty with First American, and they use Antech as a service provider. Antech diagnosed a problem with my fridge, took a full week to order a part, finally installed the part and it failed to fix the problem. It has been six days since the service request and Antech has thus far failed to submit the service report to First American. All Antech needs to do is submit the report through the web portal, or by phone, so that I can move forward with my insurance company. I have called them 4 times, with no report submitted. They give me the runaround, and keep telling me that they will pass along a request to the technician to submit the report. The fact that they have failed to do this simple ting, leaving me with a broken fridge for six more days, shows the absolute contempt they have for their customers. I have two young children and have had a broken fridge for a month. I'm surprised that First American would choose them as a service provider.

This company does not even deserve 1 star. Not only did they not fix the appliance in question, they broke another one in the process and refuse to fix it!

I have a home warranty with American Home Shield. Like many other reviews I've seen on Google and on this site, these people are absolute scam artists! My washer suddenly became really loud when it was in its spin cycle. I called American Home Shield (AHS) to have a tech come out to look at it. When the tech arrived, he opened my washer door, spun the drum with his hand once, turned on the rinse/spin cycle, and had a diagnosis immediately stating bearings were bent, the drum needed replacement, and other components inside the washing machine that can't be seen with the machine still put together were busted and needed replacement. Before he even started working on the washer, I specifically told him that I don't overload the washer...EVER. I always do light washes or if the load is heavy, I ensure I don't pack it full to its capacity. He said he would have to order the parts and they'd arrive within 7 business days. When he wrote up the report (the copy was given to me) it didn't state anything about the washer breaking due to overloading or misuse of the appliance, yet the report he sent into the vendor stated that I missed it, it was my negligence for overloading the washer, therefore, it would not be fixed under my insurance. The tech was also quite rude and seemed very agitated when I kept insisting to him that I do not overload my washer. I've already spoken to AHS to get a 2nd opinion and I also informed them that they should drop them from their contract since there are numerous complaints on them. 1.7 star rating out of 110 reviews. That should same something!
