Approximately a week ago (1/30/25), I was scheduled for an APTIVE Pest Control service. I got the typical text that they were on the way. The technician arrived and as usual informed me that he was here to take care of my service. However, the tech did not inform me that he was "new" to my area nor did not know what services I was supposed to get. He did not check out with me when he was finished.
I got a text indicating that he was done but when I asked him about the services he had neglected to complete, the tech's excuse was that he does not "work this area". I could not have him return to complete the inadequate service because I had previously scheduled another appt. and needed to leave.
This is unacceptable, someone from APTIVE should have known and told him, what was needed at my home. In addition, his communication with his customer was far from adequate.
Now I have to waste more of my valuable time, which APTIVE doesn't seem to care about, to get another tech sent out to complete a redo of the incomplete service.
What terrible customer care/service and a waste of a customer's time.
Recommendation: Watch Out. The service is very mixed and unstable.
Aptive Environmental seems to be using your time without fully trained technicians and no accountability at all. Ask for a free redo and some compensation for the time spent here. If not, cancel your service and look for a more customer-friendly company.
