Business owner is battling cancer. Called to inform Aramark his wishes to cancel at the end of current contract. They said it had to be in writing 60 days before end of contract. Letter written and sent certified mail. Now 2 weeks before contract end, we get a call saying they did not receive the letter on time (says it was 56 days prior not 60 days).
They will not let him out of the contract now but will remove uniform service and provide the mat and shop towels every other week, lower the contract to 2 years and remove the automatic renewal.
TOTALLY UNREASONABLE FOR SOMEONE BATTLING CANCER.
Desired outcome: Want out of new contract.

They had me sign a new contract 3/14/20 next day covid hit called and wanted out of contract never got the contract and didn't receive product until 7/1 never used nor do I need it still under covid but yet they are still charging me and tell me i'm stuck with contract or buy out and I have heard that from a lot of other customers. Very poor business practice, don't let them get away with doing this to businesses during these hard times. Help all of us thanks rob g. Broadway bar n grill. Moses lake wa.
Bat customer service
The driver of aramark uniform services is and costumer services they have, I call them to let them know I was canceling the services for a few weeks because of the (COVID-19) problem and they told me they couldn't do anything, that anyway they are sending me bills, and the driver told me he didn't care that they didn't warn him, that anyway I have a contract, that's disrespectful. I'm unhappy with the service they provide to their customers.

On December 27, 2019 @ 10:50 a.m truck #18606D was sitting at the red light @ Hwy 90 and Carol plantation rd. There are 2 lanes going west including a turn lane making it 3. My vehicle was in the turn lane and the Aramark truck was in the next lane next to me and a small car was in the far right lane. When the light turned green the Aramark truck proceeded to turn left forcing me out of the turn lane into on coming traffic lanes. The driver never hesitated and stuck his hand out the window afterwards to what I hope was a wave. I have forwarded this information to local and state authorities along with photos from dash cam.

They increased our prices by charging us for items that were never brought into the store. Driver lied to my employee say that the form she sign is for inventory purposes, instead it was a 2 year contract. My employee cannot speak or read English and has is not in a position to pay any bills. The manager Gustavo was so rude and dishonest. Never wanting to listen only saying we have breached our 2 year contract, that was without discretion given to my employee to sign, while increasing our prices from $45 to $63. They are so dishonest. They would not return my call after 5 times of calling trying to get explanation as to why we are being charged for things that were never brought into the store.
I have never in my 25 years in the restaurant business experience such unscrupulous business conduct!
rude driver
I had a discussion with the driver on 8/22/19 about why one employee was shorted uniforms, with a I don't care type of attitude he could not tell me why and I would half too talk with the driver next week to resolve this issue, on 8/29/19 we received last weeks bill from this driver and he charged us for losses that did not happen, I would like an explanation for his action, and why we were charged for losses that did not happen. thanks for your attention with this matter.

I m Falguni from Fresno Wholesale Tires inc. my company was offered a Promotional service package of 2 sets of Uniforms with green high viz top n plain bottom + first aid kit+ 50 towels per week for 27.oo for 3 of my locations in Nov 7 2018. They never started their uniforms service until 24 th Dec 2018, but started changing my credit card every week 27.55. On Jan 1st, 8 and 15 th I was charged 55.10 for all location in stead of 27.00 . I Aproch the sales man Vardan several times, no use he said he would talk to his D M, then D M Darnell called I explained him, but he never did anything. Meanwhile on Dec 30, 2018 from my manager, I learnt they even did not provide first aid kit at any locations, and did not provide towels at one location and also the uniform color I requested was wrong as service agreement page where color was written originally at the time of signing it was changed by them since they didn't carry my color request, I was told by Vardan he would fax me copy of it from his office after getting it signed by his superior, but never sent me until I requested on Dec 27; 2018 when different color uniforms came. Meanwhile I was still every week sending emails to Vardan, his D M to fix color of uniforms, towel supply, first aid kits, nothing happened, over payments of 55.10 for each location in stead of 27.00 quoted price. Finally on January 16, 2019 i warned them to fix all errors, my credit card payment, towels, first aid kits, and color of uniforms or close my all three accounts. Next day, Taylor Nolan called up, assured he would fix everything, yesterday at one location my color of uniforms came, others still didn't, my credit card charges are NOT yet refunded in spite of several emails, towels are still not provided in one location as always. It is almost 3 months and still what we are offered are not provided. Finally today I have told them to stop ur service from 1 February 2019. It was a Nightmare dealing with Fresno Aramark Office, I found them unorganized, very unprofessional and unethical. My money has not yet been refunded, charged me for no supply but added stress.it was completely waste of my time, energy and peace of mind.

Aramark [censored]ed me! I want my money. I've been taxed up the [censored]. Yeah! Where's my money. Why should I sort my tax out. You do it. How should I know how to do it. You do it [censored] face. I earned 80 euro and then i'm taxed 40 which of course leaves me with just 40. Robbery I say! I level with you i'm a lazy [censored] with no confidence or social skills so help me out [censor] and stop being [censor]. Sincerly me!
pizza
I attached the picture of the pizza I paid a lot for last night at the Houston Rodeo. That picture will show you why I'm complaining. When you're paying that much for something, it should at least be quality food and be presentable. If I could've, I would have demanded my money back or another item. It looked like pizza that had been warmed up in a microwave day two at home. Not good at all. I'd like to show you.
I did not complain last year when the loaded nachos were not loaded. Mostly chips. Or even that the chicken fingers weren't as good as the they were the year before at the rodeo from Aramark. But, this pizza is ridiculous. I'd like my food to be like the pictures advertised.

food choices
I've been in the cafeteria at Spelman College on three separate occasions in the last 2 weeks and the only meat options were either beef or pork. At Spelman, there are many students who aren't vegetarian, but still do not eat beef or pork. I don't think it's fair that we have to pay for a meal plan that doesn't accommodate everyone. Also, one of the ladies working was using the same spoon for pork that she was using for shrimp etouffee, and as we know, this could cause a lot of problems; there are people who don't eat pork who now can't eat the seafood and there are people who eat pork with seafood allergies.
alfredo pasta and other dishes
I order Alfredo Pasta from the sautéed station in the Cafeteria. The food wasn't the hottest for it being sautéed and was extremely too much sauce, I barely had any noodles. I asked a girl working there could she give me more noodles free of charge, since it was heaping amout of sauce left. She said she couldn't do it but sent an another gentleman to address the situation. He said there was nothing he could do about it either, basically you get what you get. And if I wanted more noodles, I would have to pay for them. Keep in mind, I am a daily customer with Aramark, and they ofter serve old, cold food. Lastly, this dish was $8 and I'm upset that nobody cared about customer service in this organization.

I get food at this cafe often, recently I was served by a girl named Amber. I get that people have bad days but she was VERY unprofessional. She treated me as if I was annoying her instead of like a paying customer should be treated.
I ordered food, and she made me repeat myself several times because she wasn't listening to me from the moment I got there. She acted like I was irritating her. She tossed my food on the counter instead of handing it to me when I had placed my hand out. (RUDE!) Then walked away like she was mad. I guess me and my friends will be avoiding the cafe on days she's working alone.
Please just hire workers who care...ughhh!

I work with grifolds through aramark and there is an employee that has some one clock her out so she could go to her parenting class she would leave at 630 or 645 and have someone clock her out at 730 and she has clocked in and went hom andhas stayed on the clock until its time to clock now ive personality told her she could get in big trouble and she has told me repeatedly she wont because the supervisor know she has child support to pay. unsafe driving
Today, June 14th, at approximately 4:00-4:10, I was behind a driver going north on 75 around Plano, Texas, for about ten miles. The driver constantly swayed to the right almost hitting the barricade repeatedly, then would correct and within seconds was drifting severely to the right again. This continued the entire time I was behind the driver, until he/she eventually made a very abrupt and late exit. The number on the truck was 2212AS.

To Whom It May Concern, on the date of June 30th of 2017 at approximately 11:30am the driver of unit 25044 or license plate # FLL 0985 (James) came very close to hitting me 2 times while I was on my motorcycle. The first time was around 11:28am as we were exiting the galleria mall turning north onto Dallas Pkwy off of Galleria Dr, we were both turning right and I was in front of the Aramark vehicle. There were cars coming who had the right of way and I waited until I could safely go, however when I looked back the Aramark vehicle was within a foot from the back of my motorcycle, which is way too close and an unsafe distance, this was not the main issue. Once on Dallas Pkwy heading north I came up to the light at Alpha, I was in the right lane and there were other vehicle directly in front of me. Your driver James is turning right (East) onto Alpha and has a yield, so he does not need to wait at the light. This is when he once again came very close to hitting the back of my motorcycle while zipping passed me to the point that he even jumped the curb with his back right wheels. I thought to myself, “Should I let it go or say something?” I see that he turned left (North) on Barton Dr and I then go straight and pass the shopping center and made my way around to see if I can spot the Aramark vehicle. I spotted behind the shopping center at 13710 Dallas Pkwy Dallas TX 75240 where Paradise Bakery, ATT, Rally House. Pier 1 Imports, Babies R us and Dicks sporting goods etc… are located. I pulled over to the side, got off of my motorcycle and approached the vehicle and snapped 2 pictures, one of the vehicle and another of the driver. I then ask him “How is it going? Are you in a rush?” he then replies with a “No” I then go on to explain how he almost hit me, he is thinking I am talking about us exiting the Galleria Mall area. But when I then explained how he jumped the curb he then jumps in and says “Man, I didn't almost [censor] hit you and I didn't jump no [censor] curb”. At this point the foul language began on his part and I too exchanged words with him, without going too much in detail he then says “You're only talking like that because I am in uniform” I then asked if he respected his company and he said yes. I said “Then learn to drive when you're in your company vehicle”, I am sure had he not been in uniform he would have gotten physical with me when my entire purpose was to let him know how unsafe it is to follow that close.
I am not one to report people, however I feel that the distance he was keeping from me was unsafe and jumping curbs and rushing to the next destination is a huge liability. Not to mention his attitude towards me while in a company vehicle and in company uniform is unprofessional. I too work for a company where I wear uniform and I have been driving a company vehicle for the past 9 years. When I am in that uniform and vehicle, I am the company, I represent them.
I am not sure how your team will handle this, but I do believe some type of disciplinary action is necessary, whether it is counseling or another form or action.
My company has looked into using Aramark in the past, we have used other big name companies like Cintas and UniFirst, I do understand how one bad apple can spoil a bunch, so I hope this is addressed and handle properly.

I reported this to Aramark almost a week ago and have yet to hear back from them.

Aramark has provide adequate service for about 4 years for us. However they are very sneaky and shady about their price increases and practices. They will gladly charge you for extended periods of time for services you don't need and are not using. They will also increase your prices about every 3-4 months. They will come in and have employees sign contracts and never provide them to ownership or agents of the business. If you decide to switch away they will threaten lawsuits.
I have been going back and forth with them and all I can really get from them is threats. They keep claiming they have an original contract from way back when that has lapsed, however they write into that contract that if they aren't notified within 60 says of that lapsed contract that it automatically renews and a brand new contract initiates it's self. Meanwhile they will come in and have employees sign new contracts that will adjust pricing down (until they decide to raise it whenever they feel like it) however they may sit on that contract for 6 months before putting it into effect.
There is no level of honesty, or respect for their clients. They make no attempt to be open and forthcoming with their pricing, practices, or service.
One of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. Right now they are threatening lawyers on us because we decided to switch to a new company because they have been price gouging us for years, and they still have yet to produce a legitimate contract.

We have been a customer for about 5 years, we stared getting all of our kitchen staff uniforms, aprons, and towels with your company, however, due to many problems with the uniforms and how unsatisfied our employees were they decided not to continue paying for them, and once we tried to terminate we were unable, so we had to keep two employees against their will, and us paying for the uniforms, so we would not bridge the contract that we had with your company, but this contract had been bridge by your company due to the lack of customer service.
About a month ago, I called to get a copy of the contract, spoke with our "rep", explain the situation, and that since the service was bad and prices were continuing to increase, we wanted to terminate it and find a new company, he was not very nice about this, and kept saying that the old problems were old, and nothing was happening, that i didn't have argument etc, etc. Well i get old mats all the time, a lot of the times my customers trip on them not to mention the mats move and this is a hazard, i asked for a copy of my contract, he said pretty angrily, that whenever he had time, he would drop by, it's been a month and am still waiting for his visit with a copy of our contract, and i guess he's been to busy that has not had time to email it or mail it to us either.
Now i want a copy of our contract, also a good way to terminate it, doing business with you was not a a pleasure, and if i have to rate it, it would definitely will be a 0, and to advised someone to do business with you never, i didn't take that advised, but i guess is the way to handle your business with small companies like ours.

I went to your cafe that is at chichester college west Sussex it is a very small cafe which I get a drink or coffee from and they have charged me £25.50 for a transaction which I usually only spend£2.50. They ladies her work there don't give receipts and will take your card to do contact less themselves without us checking the payments. I didn't say anything as these women are very rude in that shop except one or two. I will go into the shop tomorrow to confront them but they won't do anything personally. I would like my money back I find this very upsetting as I rely on that money and I would never spend that much money on one transaction on lunch for myself. I look forward to hearing back from you to resolve my issue. Thank you.
