I went to an Arbonne party; there I was told about the wonderful Swiss formulations. It is Swiss law that only natural ingredients be in products. With all the cancer causing agents in products today, I bought several different items. However, $100 later, I still ended up with a body wash that had Disodium Laurth Sulfosuccinate listed as the second ingredient. That very ingredient was discussed at the party as a harmful ingredient. I would much rather spend $5 on Dove soap, then $25 on "Swiss formulated made in the U.S." body wash.

Did you bother to ask about the ingredient? The "Disodium Laurth Sulfosuccinate" that Arbonne uses is derived and formulated from a plant which is the reason why the products more expensive in the long run. The company actually takes the time and knowledge of scientists to formulate cleansing agents from natural, botanical ingredients instead of mixing a bunch of chemicals together to get the same affect (which is cheaper but more dangerous and harmful to your skin in the end). You are not the first to have noticed an ingredient and questioned it. And had you asked, you would have been given the ingredient list for every product which will educate you on which plant, fruit, flower or vegetable each ingredient is derived from. Have fun with your Dove dried out, animal by-product ridden skin when your older. It's lazy people like you that are always going to be part of the overall problem in the world. Do some research.

Ooh...you're one angry dude, reiemher. Question: if Arbonne's DLS is "derived" from a plant (hemlock? mistletoe? poison ivy? grass?) and a very expensive one at that, why is it catagorized as the carcinogen DLS? Educate me please.

I don't think name calling is necessary but I will say that before any of us should write such bold opinions, we should get our facts straight. Not doing so is deceiving and incorrect. Perhaps if we have an opinion or an ill experience, perhaps it is better to pose a question rather than to accuse with such authority. Just my humble opinion on problem solving.

I apologize...I didn't mean to direct that at anyone in particular.

If you are ever concerned about the ingredients in any of Arbonne's products, on the website next to each product is a FACT Sheet. Click on it, it will list all of the ingredients that are in the product.
Please note the the scientific names are listed on the fact sheet so oranges may appear as
Citrus sinensis, orange or sweet orange aurantium, and mandarin orange, reticulata)
