Arriva Bus reviews and complaints
ENTERING MY HOME DRIVEWAY
I am making a complaint about an Arriva Bus Company Driver.
Outside my house there is a recently marked bus stop and at
1352 hrs today the 3rd November 2009, I pulled up outside my home to reverse up my drive, I reversed for about 2 meters when the Springfield Flyer pulled in behind me, so close that I could not reverse any further and therefore could not enter my drive and clear the way for the bus. The driver just sat there sounding his horn. I got out of my car and before I could say anything the driver just kept on saying your parked on a marked bus stop. I replied that I was not parked I was reversing up my drive but was unable to do so as he had stopped across my drive. His reply was well you should have used your lights. I said what more lights could I have used, I had my lefthand indicator on and my reverse light.
All the driver had to do was stop for 2 seconds to let me complete my reverse up the drive and the bus stop would have been clear, but instead he had the attitude move it or else.
It is dangerous and I think is against the law to reverse out onto a Main Road, so the only way we can get onto our drive is by stopping on the Bus Stop to reverse.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Another old lady has been at the stop from 2.05 pm and no buses came at 2.15 pm or 3.15 pm. It doesn't take one and a half hours to come from Paisley. The...
