This company has continued to send me fake claims, with false information on it
This company has continued to send me fake claims, with false information on it. I called and left a voicemail to stop this an they have failed. This business is sending out false claims and with inaccurate information with intentions of stealing money from people. This business claims I owe TD Ameritrade $822.78 and they would like to collect the debt for TD Ameritrade. So I called the number listed to hear them out on there scam, which no one answered or took the time to call me back which I requested. I will not for personal protection purposes disclose my TD Ameritrade account information but I will confirm that there request is in accurate. I want to make sure no one gets hurt by this scam.

Received a call from them this morning stating I have a balance from Ready Refresh and my that my Ready Refresh account has been suspended and is now in collections. That made no sense at all as I have auto pay on my account and just had a massive delivery from Ready Refresh. I log into my account and see that it is fully paid up to date as expected. The representative on the phone made up some story which made no sense. It sounded like a total scam. I also had a meeting coming up and had to go so I asked if one of my attorneys on my retainer can reach out to them. That's when they got very defensive and put me on hold and refused to provide a contact number for their legal team and hung up. I am attaching a statement showing the expected zero balance.

They refuse to take an incorrect item off my credit report
I received a letter from Associated Credit Services about owing $48.21 from a company whose name was redacted in the correspondence (yes, the redaction was indicated twice). I have never been late on any bill and do not have any past due amounts with the company in question. I have reached out to the appropriate parties and now I am contacting you to help resolve my issue with this company. I suspect it is a case of fraud and they are attempting to coerce me into paying a bill that I neither have nor owe.

I just received a call from this company in regards to a account with Readyrefresh for a debt of over $200. To start the representative was rude and disrespectful from the start, she literally has no idea how to interact with a "customer" and resolve a issue. I told her I work for the company that handles the Readyrefresh accounts so it was impossible, and she said "oh then this should be easy to resolve then!" so sarcastically I refused to speak further. Y'all need to seriously evaluate Amanda *** training and tone with your clientele. With this being said this isn't my account and I am not sure who's account this is, but I know for a fact I don't have an account with Readyrefresh. Please send verified documentation with this information so we can get this taken off of my credit asap.

I would like Associated Credit Services to confirm that account# XXXXXXXX is paid in full and stop all collection activities. I received a letter from Associated Credit Services with a balance of $398.60 for an old *** account. However, I signed into their website and the balance was much lower. I paid the amount they stated I owed to bring the account to a zero dollar balance $91.20 and I do not want no further collection activity about this account. I would like a letter stating paid in full because I paid the amount they requested. Also, I would like them to confirm with Citizen's bank that this account was satisfied. Account#XXXXXXXX
I keep getting harassing letters about a fictitious amount due to a certain company for an account number they confirmed I never had. I called the company in question and they assured me that I do not owe them $781.21 and that the account number in question is fictitious. They recommend I shred the letter from Associated Credit Services as it is likely spam. Now they sent me a second letter trying to extort money from me.

The ACS company put a collection against me on the behalf of TDAmeritrade
The ACS company put a collection against me on the behalf of TDAmeritrade.inc By negligence i did not received any information that i had a negative balance. I had a bad transaction and i truly thought that i had settle the balance from a margin call. I received a collection from ACS and i pay off right away the amount required. They told me that they will remove the collection of my credit report. A year later i am applying for a loan and find out that the collection is still on my credit report. It does affect my credit score in a negative way. I try to call them to get assistance and they just do not want to hear anything and do not want to take the time to remove this collection out. I will hope the assistance of Complaintsboard.com to help me to resolve it in a good time frame. Kind regards, J

I am paid in full yet they are still reporting a collections account on my credit report, which is ruining my credit score. Since I am paid in full this is no longer a collections account, this needs to be. Deleted from my credit report as it is preventing me from obtaining a mortage. I have asked them and they are refusing. I am 51 yrs old, this is my last chance to buy my own home, and this is preventing it.
This company has sent over a collections request for a debt that is not valid from Six Flags theme parks. We canceled with Six flags last winter and ended the season passes. We received a notice of collections in the amount of $487.11 from Associates Credit services. This is not a valid debt. When we let the company know, they said it is valid when we are not pass *** at all.

ACS is continuing collections on an illigetimate debt even after they have been given proof of the illegitimacy of the debit/cease& desist order
ACS is continuing collections on an illigetimate debt even after they have been given proof of the illegitimacy of the debit/cease& desist order. In 2019 a MDIG of PA failed to file an insurance claim within their contracted timeframe with CIGNA. IF MDIG had not been negligent in filing with CIGNA within the terms of their agreement, CIGNA would have settled the account and I would have had $0 liability as I had already met my out of pocket deductible. CIGNA legally denied the claim and informed me I do not have a legal responsibility for the claim. MDIG billed for the full amount and then sent me to ACS for collections. I send ACS a certified return receipt letter with the info from CIGNA along with a cease & desist letter. ACS just sent a request for 75% payment. If this does not stop collections and correct any negative credit reporting I am going to the MA Attorney General to file a complaint.

I paid off a bill for $316.00 and it came out of my account
I paid off a bill for $316.00 and it came out of my account. I have been receiving calls that I never paid though I did and I owe it again. On January 31 I paid off a bill for $316.00 to my medical office. It came out of my account on February 2nd and never to be seen again. I have been receiving calls stating that I never paid it and when I showed proof they stated that I paid off one of the bills for $316.00 and I owe another bill for the same amount. I offered to pay it online and the man (Joseph ***) told me no, I need to pay it over the phone because my delinquency has gone on long enough. I only had one bill to pay to my medical office, the money was taken out and never went into that bill even though it was the only one I owed, so now I don't even know where the money went. I did get a letter from said medical office that I owed them money but only one bill for $316.00, not two.

I was unable to pay electric bill with National **** in full after having a baby and getting a one-year forbearance
I was unable to pay electric bill with National *** in full after having a baby and getting a one-year forbearance. My account got charged off, this business assumed ownership of debt. On Aug. 26 2020 I called to seek a payment plan for deletion as I was going back to school and was unable to get a graduate loan unless this account was deleted upon payment. On this day, Kayla E misled me to believe it would be deleted if I paid it off. I began paying $50 per month, and I told her I would pay the rest when I could. Kayla suggested I pay it with my tax returns. I told her that was a great idea. So in January, I made a large payment of $2,000 under the guise that the account would be deleted. This was all my savings, but I kept the $50 payments to continue working toward deletion. On June 3, I was told that deletion is against policy by supervisor, Alli. Alli refused to listen to or share the recorded call between Kayla and me. I would like deletion from credit report honored.

Claimed I owed $500 JCP&L bill from June
Claimed I owed $500 JCP&L bill from June . #XXXXXXXXXXXX. I paid account off May before moving. Fake bill damaged my credit A.C.S.#XXXXXXXX. Associated Credit Services (ACS) called me in March , claiming I owed $500 on a pass *** bill with JCP&L. I rebuttal claim, because said account mentioned, was from 2010. I knew that I could not move to a new residence plus transfer electric service unless the bill was paid in full. They called back June 10, claiming that I owed now $453 for account per my last residence in 2019. This time I was able to get account# that they were inferencing to as well as my ACS account #. Upon calling, JCP&L said the account balance was $60 and was paid in full May . This makes sense because I moved out on June 1. Once confronting ACS Rep Spencer Davis, he went into a bit of a tizzy. I affirmed to him that I am not claiming that he is making up these false accounts. But that the collection agency is, and that is wrong, and I am reporting them to Complaintsboard.com. Their false claims have already adversely affected my credit report, and I need their false claims removed immediately.

Called and told i had a collection acct in there office
Called and told i had a collection acct in there office. Was from a bank acct i closed in 2019 with a zero balance Yesteday 8/21 a gentleman called from your office stated i had a collection acct in your office for well over $3,000. I asked him over the phone 4 times for proof of the debt as well as a complete breakdown of what ever fees i was being charged. He stated he will offer me a settlement of 40% and then once i paid it he would send me the breakdown. I asked then again for a copy of the break down to validate the debt and he stated he has all the validation he needs. I said this acct was closed with a zero balance. I have been a victim of identity theft. He stated that wasn't his problem and i need to pay this .He was rude, arrogant and very demanding on the phone. I asked multiple times almost 10 times for proof of the debt and then he said he had to speak to a supervisor and rudely hung-up on me. This is NOT my debt, this acct was closed with a zero balance. Nothing should of came through this acct. It was fraud. I told him that over and over again. I want to dispute this and also receive documentation showing this acct and any and all charges associated with it.

ACS collected on an alleged debt to National Grid
ACS collected on an alleged debt to National Grid. Said they'd delete from my credit file when paid and did not. Associated Credit Services working on behalf of National Grid, utility company in New York State, pursued me for a bill they claim I owed to National Grid. I repeatedly told ACS and National Grid directly that I did not even live in NY at the time this service allegedly happened. I strongly disputed owing this. When I needed to apply for a new apartment and was denied because of this collection appearing on my credit report - I approached them about settling it even though I do not feel I owed this debt and had repeatedly told them as much. The associate I spoke to said that when I paid the debt, they would return the account to National Grid and they would remove their collection account from the credit bureaus within 30-60 days. On April 15 I made that payment on that condition. It is now August 12th and the account has been updated to show paid, but has not been removed. I called and spoke to "Tim". Tim said they would -never- offer to remove the account from collections. But even right here in their Complaintsboard.com complaints, I see plenty of examples of them agreeing to that and I know what I was told by their agent. I vehemently disagree that I ever owed this debt in the first place and I only paid because it was damaging my credit! This kind of bait and switch hostile behavior is exactly why the debt collection business has such a bad reputation. I do not deserve to wait until 2025 for this to fall off my credit report. Please honor your agreement and remove it now.

ACS, put a collection item on my credit reports (Equifax, Experian & TransUnion) that does not belong to me and are refusing to remove it
ACS, put a collection item on my credit reports (Equifax, Experian & TransUnion) that does not belong to me and are refusing to remove it. In March , I noticed that my credit report had a negative entered collection mark from Associate Credit Services (from hence known as ACS) representing a bill from National Grid that did not belong to me. I spoke to legal aid in my local county and they explained that the company should send me documentation confirming the debt or they will be in violation of the FDCPA, FCRA and Code of Federal Regulations 16 CFR Part 660.. Therefore, on March 28th, I sent a certified letter to ACS requesting validation of the account that requires them to send me requested documents to verify if the account actually belongs to me, but they never responded to my request. I waited 30-day later to see if they will responded and when they didn't, I sent another certified letter on May 7th, disputing the account and requesting again for documentation to confirm who the account actually belongs to, and still they never responded. Now it's greatly affecting me, because it has lowered my credit score by over 40 points. I spoke again to legal aid here in my local county and they instructed me to send a "Estoppel by Silence" letter that I certified mailed on today July 1st, and if they do not respond by removing the credit item off all of Equifax, Experian and TransUnion within 15 days of the receipt of my final letter then seek out an consumer protection attorney to file a lawsuit against the agency due to their lack of response and refusal to remove the erroneous credit mark that they have reported against me.

Harassment and coercion against myself and my family
Harassment and coercion against myself and my family. ASSOCIATED CREDIT SERVICES, INC has recently sent correspondence claiming that I owe them money. I have never in my life ever have done business or entered into a contract knowingly or unknowingly with this organization. There is on file with the New York City Police Department an identify theft claim that is public record that they can verify themselves. ASSOCIATED CREDIT SERVICES, INC has sent correspondence to my residence admitting that they have purchased a debt from a company called Ready Fresh by Nestle account #XXXXXXXXXX. It has been brought to my knowledge that this account they claim to be tied to my property may be in fact a new account that has been opened without my knowledge and therefore will be addressed with them directly. As for ASSOCIATED CREDIT SERVICES, INC I am requesting that they immediately stop pursuing compensation for a debt that has not been authorized by myself or anyone in my family. There has been a recent correspondence mailed to ASSOCIATED CREDIT SERVICES, INC via certified mail using the USPS service with a receipt #XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX with a validation of debt letter. If they want a copy of the police report on file for the identity theft then I have no problem sending it to them. If ASSOCIATED CREDIT SERVICES, INC does not comply with my request to stop all harassment via phone and mail then I have no other choice than to file suit with local authorities, file a restraining order against the C.E.O of the company and handle this matter in court. Please advise ASSOCIATED CREDIT SERVICES, INC to withdraw any claim or claims they may have against myself and or my family. I, myself and my wife have never or

THEY CLAIM SOMEONE OPENED A FRAUD ACCOUNT, FOR A SUM OF MONEY WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION, AND THROUGH MY COMPROMISED SS NUMBER AND PRIVATE INFO. Date: 3/17 A G XXXXX XXXXX XXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXXXX XX XXXXX Associated Credit Services, INC. 115 Flanders Road, Suite 140, P.O. Box 5171 Westborough, MA XXXXX-XXXX RE: Your Account#: XXXXXXXX Attention: Supervisor/ Manager; M L Whoever you are/ whatever you do: Be advised this is an unauthorized, fraudulent, identity theft account and balance. A complete stranger found me on Facebook and notified me that your letter was mailed to an Aunts former address, who has not lived in this country in 12 years. TO REPEAT, THIS ACCOUNT OR WHATEVER IT IS, WAS NOT OPENED BY ME, NOR WAS IT AUTHORIZED. THIS IS HARASSMENT, YOU ARE HARASSING SOMEONE WITH ANXIETY ISSUES AND I WILL BE BILLING YOUR OFFICE, IF I NEED TAKE MORE ANXIETY MEDICATION, PER MY DOCTOR, AFTER ALL THE STRESS YOU ARE CAUSING WITH THIS NON-SENSE. This ridiculous fraudulent account has been and will continue to be disputed. Precise proof of debt is requested. Under the Fair Debt collection Practices Act (FDCPA), I have the right to request proof of this fraudulent/ fictional debt you purport I owe you. I am requesting proof, that there is a contractual obligation for this fraudulent debt, that i did not authorize. If this harms my current rental agreement or financial standing in anyway, i will be pursuing legal action against Associated Credit Services. INC and the fraudulent scam artist company you are working with, that allowed some idiot to open this account in my name/ with obviously compromised personal information, without any concrete proofs or documents. When i first caught wind of this fraud account on my credit reports, i disputed it with all 3 Credit Burueas. The company that allowed my information to be compromised(Truist) agreed this was fraud and removed the account from Equifax, Transunion, and Experian.(I have the confirmation letters.) Also, when i received suspicious alerts from the bureaus, i immediately contacted the company via the telephone, and was told the following. They did not collect ANY VERIFCATION DOCUMENTS FROM WHOMEVER OPENED THE ACCOUNT. NONE. THEY DID NOT HAVE A COPY OF A DRIVERS LICENSE(PHOTO ID), THEY DID NOT HAVE A COPY OF A SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, THEY DID NOT HAVE TAX RETURNS, THEY DID NOT HAVE PROOF OF ADDRESS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY DID NOT HAVE A WET INK SIGNTAURE. That in and of its self invalidates and disqualifies this silly fraud debt letter you mailed. How are you going to be a supposed place of finance and give someone money, without collecting a single hard copy document/ proof of identity. This smells very fishy and what would not be surprised if it was a scam job, directly by your agency. Your collection agency has been sued a ton of times per Google searches, for fraud, defamation and harassment. Also, I Googled "TRUIST" as well, and it seems it's some place out of Florida, that recently changed their name to get away from the bad stigma they had with their former name. You both are match made in Heaven. Yea, this isn't sketchy at all. This is a request for PROOF/ VALIDATION. Made pursuant to 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 (b) of the FDCPA. I request that your offices provide me with competent evidence to support your claim. At this time I will also inform you that, if your offices have or continue to report invalidated information to any of the three major credit bureaus' (Equifax, Experian, Trans Union), this action constitutes fraud, under both federal and state laws. Due to this fact, if any negative mark is found or continues to report on any of my credit reports by your company or the company you represent, I will not hesitate in bringing legal action against you and your client for the following: Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Defamation of Character... Continue to place collections in my name despite being able to validate this erroneous debt!
Continue to place collections in my name despite being able to validate this erroneous debt! Placed on my credit reports without my knowledge. File # XXXXXXXX To Whom It May Concern: I have previously sent you a request (2/6) to validate my debt under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and all I received was an itemized list/statements of the alleged charges you claim I owe you. This does not meet the Federal Trade Commissions guidelines of what constitutes proper debt validation. Furthermore you are required to provide me with original documentation with my signature on it. In addition, in the case of Spears Vs. Brennan (IN THECOURT OF APPEALS OF INDIANA, No. 49AXX-XXXX-CV-169), the court ruled that: 15 U.S.C. § 1692g(b) (emphasis added). On November 12, 1996, nineteen days after the date of Brennan's debt collection letter, Spears' counsel Shepard sent Brennan a letter declaring that Spears "disputes your debt collection-related allegations, denies the same, and demands strict proof and verification thereof." Record at 21. As such, Brennan should have ceased his debt collection efforts immediately upon receiving that letter. Instead, Brennan proceeded to obtain a default judgment against Spears on the debt collection claim before he had mailed Spears the necessary verification and, thus, violated 15 U.S.C. § 1692g(b). Brennan maintains, however, that there was no violation of the FDCPA because he "sent adequate verification of the debt to Spears in the October 30, 1996 notice of claim." Brief of Appellee at 13. Specifically, Brennan claims that a copy of the consumer credit contract between Spears and American General attached to the notice of claim provided sufficient verification of the debt within the meaning of 15 U.S.C. § 1692g(b). We cannot agree. The contract in no way provides sufficient verification of the debt. A review of the document reveals that it identifies only the terms of Spears' loan, including a 17.99% annual interest rate and the original loan amount of $2,561.59. The loan agreement contains no accounting of any payments made by Spears, the dates on which those payments were made, the interest which had accrued, or any late fees which had been assessed once Spears stopped making the required payments. Indeed, the existing unpaid contract balance at the time Brennan sent the debt collection notice was at least $350.00 more than the original loan amount. Therefore, Brennan violated 15 U.S.C. § 1692g(b) when he failed to cease collection of the debt by obtaining a default judgment against Spears after Spears had notified Brennan in writing that he was disputing the debt but before Brennan had mailed verification of the debt to Spears. We reverse the trial court's entry of summary judgment in favor of Brennan on this issue. I notice that you are still reporting this collection on my credit report, which is considered to be a collection activity. You are now in violation of the FCPDA, and are now subject to fines of $1000, plus actual damages and attorney's fees, which I may collect from you by filing a claim in small claims court. These collections on my credit report are causing me severe problems in trying to purchase a home and the damage could lead into the $1000's. You should also be aware that reporting such invalidated information to major credit bureaus might constitute defamation of character, as the negative marks on my credit report harm my credit and prevent me from enjoying all the benefits of good credit. In addition, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) does not allow the inaccurate reporting of information on my credit report and under this act. Therefore, if you do not immediately remove this account from my credit report, you are subject to another $1000 fine, plus punitive damages. I'm sure your legal staff will agree that non-compliance with this request could put your company in serious legal trouble with the FTC and other state or federal agencies. I intend to follow through with the suit if I do not hear back from you within 15 days.

I have received two letters from Associated Credit Services Inc regarding a dept they are trying to collect for an account that I never opened and have no idea what it is for. The first letter I received last year and I called them to dispute this bill. I was told they would file my dispute, investigate and contact me if they needed anything else from me. I never heard from them again until this week when I received another letter trying to collect the disputed dept. I contacted them again and the initial response was that I had hung up on them the last time I spoke to them on the phone and no dispute was filed, I remember confirming that the dispute would be filed the first time I spoke with them over the phone. Neither ACS Inc or Truist Bank ever sent any other documentation showing that I owe this dept. I feel this is a bogus account they have created to scam me and they are just giving me the runaround. Any help resolving this dispute would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I have asked this company in many emails to stop emailing me and calling for money that is not owed. They keep calling about Great Adventure Tickets that were never picked up by me. I want them to stop collections remove this bill in my name, and NOT PLACE anything on my credit file
