Avira Operations ref no [protected]

i have been trying to cancel my subsription since the middle of october from when i tried to pay you about £23.00 for 1 computer. You then took £90.99 instead through my pay pal illegally my i say, as i never gave you permission to take money out of my account in the first place.

Since then i have replied to your emails you have sent after i cancelled stating as below

I have only one computer and i am 82 and find i cannot afford £90.99 and therefore that is the reason i cancelled in the first place before you bombarded me with emails which i replied to two number emails stating, i had cancelled as the reason given and i require my £90.99 back which you illegally obtained

regards

Avira Operations unauthorised renewal of optimisation suite and debiting of credit card.

On 4/4/2019 my bank notified me that R604.95 had been deducted from my account by Avira for renewal of their product. I did not request the renewal, nor were they given authorisation to debit my credit card. Their transaction ID stated as [protected].
This behaviour is totally unethical. I demand that they take back their product, which I refuse to install, and refund the money to my bank account.

A mail was received from Avira within half an hour of the money going out of my account, saying "we thank you for the renewal..." as if it had been asked for... it was not.

My bank insisted that Avira be approached to reverse their unauthorised transaction, before proceeding with their own steps. As I cannot find any direct email address to approach this company online, the above has been forwarded to this board.

I do hope this matter will be promptly rectified.

Mr. A. Carlos

I was also charged for a renewal with Avira without their consent. Once your credit card is used on these sites they take liberties to charge you for their subscriptions. The best thing you probably can do is to remove your credit card completely from their websites (or make up a fake one to replace it if they won't allow you to remove it). That way they can't rob you.

Is Avira Operations Legit?

Avira Operations earns a trustworthiness rating of 94%

Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.

Our conclusion: After a detailed review, ComplaintsBoard finds Avira Operations to be a trustworthy company. Although there's a 25% resolution rate for customer complaints, which deserves attention, Avira Operations is known for their high standards and safety. If you're thinking about dealing with Avira Operations, it's wise to check how they handle complaints.

We found clear and detailed contact information for Avira Operations. The company provides a physical address, 2 phone numbers, and 2 emails, as well as 3 social media accounts. This demonstrates a commitment to customer service and transparency, which is a positive sign for building trust with customers.

Avira Operations has registered the domain name for avira.com for more than one year, which may indicate stability and longevity.

Avira.com has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.

Avira.com has been deemed safe to visit, as it is protected by a cloud-based cybersecurity solution that uses the Domain Name System (DNS) to help protect networks from online threats.

Avira.com you are considering visiting, which is associated with Avira Operations, is very old. Longevity often suggests that a website has consistently provided valuable content, products, or services over the years and has maintained a stable user base and a sustained online presence. This could be an indication of a very positive reputation.

Several positive reviews for Avira Operations have been found on various review sites. While this may be a good sign, it is important to approach these reviews with caution and consider the possibility of fake or biased reviews.

Avira Operations website is deemed to be popular and indicating that it receives a high volume of traffic. It is important to be cautious when using a highly trafficked website, as it may be a target for cybercriminals looking to exploit vulnerabilities or steal personal information.

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:

  • Despite a high level of trust, our investigation found issues with Avira Operations's service, including poor customer service, lack of accountability, and responsibility to resolve complaints. Customers may face long wait times for responses, receive generic or unhelpful answers or no response at all. Only 25% of 0 complaints were resolved.
  • You should not trust a website that appears to be parked, especially if you have already paid money to the website. A parked website may be a sign that the website owner is no longer actively maintaining or developing the site, and there is a risk that the site could be a scam.
  • Avira Operations protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.

Avira Operations Avira total security suite

A installation problem persists. They couldn't solve it. They made accept refund. Although it was not my desire.

They keep saying my PC configuration was not good and the problem was solely mine.

Truth is, I've bought Karpesky Total Security with my refund, and installed like a charm.

Therefore, the problem is in the Avira software and not in my PC.

They made all the efforts to make me fell guilty.

Avira Staff is a bunch of ####, people with no word or honor whatsoever.

They support is a great scam. They have no expertise, they are just interns in steroids. I should have seen it at once, when they nominated a eastern European named Irina to take care of my problem. They certainly pay her less because she is Romania, Bucharest. She had no skills just try to keep me busy to almost a month. And then purportedly had a meeting with "so called" experts. Which I doubt just to say she's unable to sort things up. And worst, push me to take the money back.

A deceitful woman, never was a prepared, cheating and duping me just for fun.

Avira is not a trustworthy company, but a rat's nest.

I know they will never solve my problem, they are not this kind o people.

But I will let everybody I know who they are: RATS.

Avira Operations Avira total security suite

Dear friends from Avira,

I have bought in 1/13/2017 the most advanced antivirus from your firm, namely: Avira Total Security Suite. The data regarding the aquired Suite follows:

Avira Total Security Suite
12 months - 1 device
electronic delivery
9FZZZ-ZZZVF-L2Z5X-ENBRB-2NY42

It worked for a day or two and stop working, suposedly because an 2753 error.

Your firm designated a expert Ms. Irina, from Bucarest, Romênia. I am from Brasil, she speaks portuguese, was very nice, no complaints. She tried to fix the problem for more than a month. She promised to fix it in name of Avira.

I was took by surprised when she didin't honour our last comitment. I found it unusual, but wait her response. Personal problems use to happens.

That was not the case. Se told me she had a meeting with Avira Experts and they decide my problem has no solutuion. Told me to reinstall my windows (at the same time said it not advisable).

As a alternative solution she offer me full refund. I accept, but just because I was in a dead end.

I can't believe that a firm like yours with 500 milions global avira installs and 30 years of expertise have not the know how to solve my problem, a mere Instalation Problem, besides this, in this 500 milions isntalations a and 30 years on the market never cope with a problem like maine or never saw something like it.

What kind of professionals works in your support departament.

I see you are not thinking don't care about me as a costumer. But you, Avira, have to bare in mind that you are not very famous in Brasil. I was very exciting to have your software and tell everyone how good is it, for my friends, my family and costumers (as I am a Lawyer). But now, you've got an enemy. I will tell that Avira is not a good firm, that you are not reliable. When we need we can count on you.

I really never expected it from you. I always buy german products. I have relatives in Germany and Netherlands. People with just one word. If I choose you you, I choose you because of it too. But you gave me a Girl from Bucarest, very nice, but with not the expertise. That's ok, she asks help from the Experts. That's the worst: YOUR EXPERTS ARE UNABLE TO FIX MY PLOBLEM? They not even try, they not even get in touch with me. What's wrong with you? What's wrong with AVIRA?

I don't think this message will change anithing, but beware, Avira is dead for me.

Best regards,

Wanderley Zonneveld

Avira Operations C4s click for support

I purchased Avira Antivirus in January of 2015 through c4s for $899 (three year subscription...no further costs!). 24/7 tech support guaranteed! Have been receiving "pop ups" stating that my subscription is due to expire this month (January of 2016). Purchase the new upgrade for more money! Tried contacting by phone and email. Phone numer is no longer in service! Emails sent to the company and CEO...recipients not found! Red Flag...buyer Beware! I've already contacted my credit card company, to stop "Automatic renewal, " initiate a rebuttle...and request a refund. I've also placed a complaint on /link removed/ accepted! For any disgruntled customers wishing to complain...please add your complaint to the above mentioned website. For those customers feeling satisfied by the offering after a year...and still satisfied, "Slap me silly!"

Avira Operations Fraudulant virus protection

Avira offers a "FREE" virus protection download. BUT, , , they try again and again to have you buy an "upgrade" to a paid product.

IF you do not buy upgrade, they launch a virus ad/spyware into your computer to shut down all functioning.

The only cure is to "UNINSTALL" Avira, get a legitimate virus protection and find and kill the virus files and cookies of spyware that Avira has put in your machine.

All in all, a very damaging and frustrating waste of time.

Avira refuses to respond to ANY of my complaints about their horrible product and virus files.

The virus file they slip into your machine is; ADSPY/FalseInstaller

and it comes in many (13) elements and cookies.

AVOID THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS !

I had the identical experience with the free download except that when I attempted to uninstall it, a Folder (with around 500 files) and an isolated file remained on the computer. Though I attempted to eliminate these with Revo-Unstaller (a fine uninstall program), and to delete or incinerate the folder and file, it could not be done. Two calls to Avira tech support at different toll free numbers resulted in the same response: let us clean your computer and sell computer security programs for a big price, or you are stuck with a corrupted computer which runs at a fraction of its normal speed. Fortunately I remembered the Restore function on the computer and was able to restore it to an earlier date. This resulted in the elimination of the Ariva program and a computer that performed normally.

I also would recommend avoiding this like the plague.

I have been trying to get them to answer a Tec support question for over 10 days.
They have NO service in the US.

I can’t believe that you have never even answered any of my E mails.
How in the world do you say you have over 100+ million users but you do not answer any e mails for Tec Support?
Please just refund my money…

For over 40 years I have giving Seminars to/for all size Companies like, Exxon, Shell, Kroger and many others for the purpose of helping them better their relationship with their Customers.
I have never known a Company that needs help as much as your Company does.
I do mean this with all due-respect as your Company has a great Product.
But as far as your Tec. Support is you are a total failure.
I, for the life of me can’t understand why you do not have “live” phone technical support in the US.
I have tired for over 10 days to get help and all I get is that my problem has been turned over to the “Proper” department but that is where the help stops.
The two most important “Themes” of my Seminars was/is, “Getting Back To Basics and Commutation”
I charged $5, 000. For 2 hours for these Seminars and I am mot trying to sell you any thing.
So this is free.
You really need to re-vamp your program.
I would just like a refund and purchases a soft ware program for another Company who really cares about Support.
Respectfully Submitted,
Robert Lippincott

P.S. It might be of interest to you that I do talk by E mail to over 250, 000 families a day on the internet and what I recommend to them is most important to most Companies.
