Ordered a high end refrigerator to get delivered and to have our older model removed
Ordered a high end refrigerator to get delivered and to have our older model removed. The men who arrive to perform the service installed the new refrigerator, but removed cosmetic handles and escutcheons from the older one and left it on the side of the road in front of my business. The men did not wear masks, even though there is a COVID-19 lockdown in effect. I called their customer service line and it was closed for the weekend, so I was unable to get the drivers back to return the parts. When I called on Monday, I was treated like a problem. The agent, who refused to identify himself, suggested that I pay them up front for another pickup in three weeks. As a business owner, I keep a responsibility to my customers and to my community. A refrigerator on the side of the road is a safety hazard, and these actions were entirely irresponsible. My firm will take steps to file claims against this firm, and I urge others not to do business with them.
They are supposed to "deliver", "install" and "haul-away" the REF and Dishwasher I bought from HD
They are supposed to "deliver", "install" and "haul-away" the REF and Dishwasher I bought from HD. But NO, they delivered but left the appliances in my Garage and they left in a hurry! There's NO install and haul-away that happen as clearly stated on their worksheet. They reschedule us two weeks later to install the refrigerator (but by this time I already installed the DW, they just had to haul away the old one). They came and looked at the Refrigerator and found that it is installed via reverse osmosis. I told them to install the Ref anyway and I will do the hookup. And lo and behold, they did a disappearing act on us. Like all my front and garage doors are wide open and they LEFT without saying anything. Like their GONE without telling us and left us hanging. The funny thing is, they called us minutes later and wanted to reschedule for another install. I said, no thanks! I called Home Depot and ask them to refund the installation and hauling services. You truly live up to your name. Your "Bar-is too- low"
Terrible company! The people in the office lie and the merchandise was delivered damaged. Due to their lazy unprofessional attitude, I will never order an appliance from Home Depot again. If I could give them negative stars I would.
I had a dishwasher installed by Barlow yesterday. First off they followed none of the delivery guidelines outlined by the seller. No face mask, no shoe coverings, no gloves, no cleanup after install. When the dishwasher was installed, a cycle was started to ensure that it was functioning properly. After the installers left we realized that there was no longer water coming out of the kitchen sink. We followed up with the seller and they indicated that Barlow said they would not come out to fix the sink issue and that we should hire a plumber. I contacted Barlow directly and was able to get an appointment for an appliance install check. Unfortunately they had nothing available for 7 days. The installers also did not use the junction box I purchased but took it with them when they left. I called and they confirmed that they would return it to the store but that has not happened. Very sad that this company is able to contract with large retailers considering their lack of professionalism, customer service or even common courtesy.

If I could leave a half a star, I would. I purchased a Refrigerator from Home Depot a month prior to the scheduled delivery of the Unit. The night before the scheduled date, a representative from Barlow, called and left me a message, informing me that they had to pushed out the delivery by more than a month, due to the lack of man power. This call was placed at 8pm at night, on a Tuesday, THE NIGHT BEFORE. I called back the next morning, to get more detail. The same representative, April I believe her name is, showed no empathy, interrupted me several times, once stating that it wasn't her problem. She said that I could come and pick it up or wait two weeks for the next available time. I'm moving into a new home, with a new born, with no means of refrigeration for my child's food. Unacceptable. As a business owner, I understand that things happen and especially during COVID times, employment can be an issue, but do not offer a service, if you cannot meet the demands. You can not give Home Depot scheduling flexibility and then back track. As far as the customer service aspect, April needs to find a new career at the DMV where her disinterested demeanor and lack of empathy, can be properly displayed.

This company completely destroyed my brand new dishwasher. They screwed into the control panel and placed the dishwasher on top of the drain hose. My dishwasher has not worked since the point of install. Now I have to fight to get a new one. All because they decided to mess up the install.
They get one star for showing up with my appliances that we ordered from a local retailer and paid for install and haul away of the old appliances. These two men were completely unprofessional. They acted as if they were in a hurry. They claimed they couldn't install the dishwasher or the fridge due to "leaking water valves" for each appliance, when there was just water in the line that they just shut off. If the valves were bad, we would have had water under the sink or under the fridge. They agreed to shut off the main at the house to allow my father (since my husband was working) to drive over and connect the water line to the appliances. But instead of finishing the job, i.e, putting the appliances in place and balancing the dishwasher, placing the kick plate back, they left and they didn't haul away the old dishwasher. They disconnected the drain line for the old dishwasher from the garbage disposal and the clamp was lost. The new dishwasher didn't have a clamp. Their customer service department called the deilvery guys and they lied and said we disconnected it and they didn't have it. They left the main water off at the house. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL and rude experience. A formal complaint was made with their company. After WE paid for install and connected everything ourselves...NO LEAKS like they claimed. Which appears to have been an excuse of "liabillity" so they didn't have to do the install. The worst experience of my life. Beware of your install and they tell you, "you have a leaky valve. you need to call a plumber".
Terrible - take no liability for anything
Terrible - take no liability for anything. Did not wear masks and unprofessional. Had appointment to install a $3,000 washer/dryer set on 11/23. Guy came out and said he could not install because I needed a new valve. Said to just call and they could come back that Saturday (I was on vacation that week). Called and could not get appt until Monday, 11/30 while I was back at work. The guy that came to install was so angry because the other installers did not put the washer/dryer on the pedestals or put anything together. Units still in boxes. The new installer took the box with the washer and flipped it upside down to cut open the box in my driveway. Had me come out after install while he turned on water and dryer. Said sign here - he was definitely in a hurry. After work my husband said he could not close the drawer on the pedestal for the washer and the whole side of the washer is dented. Tried to do a load of laundry and the washer shook uncontrollably - not level and don't know if it can be leveled due to the damage. Husband called company and they said it's not their liability, call GE or Home Depot. They will not do anything. And I tipped him!

This company is abysmal. Had an order in place for 6 weeks through Home Depot, delivery date scheduled for 12/23. Received a call the day before confirming delivery would take place between 7-11 a.m. At approximately 9:30 a.m. on the day of delivery I receive a call that they could not deliver my order due to a driver calling out sick. They had no contingency, and it was obvious that they were overbooked and could not fulfill their delivery orders. No accountability, no recourse, just the standard "nothing we can do" response. I would suggest not ordering from companies that utilize Barlow as a delivery option.
This company was used by home depot to deliver and install a new refrigerator. The delivery was scheduled for 12/23 and the truck arrived early in the stated delivery window. All good so far. Driver asks to see the install spot - no problem - old fridge is there and the new one was slightly taller (two inches) and deeper (inch) - regardless, I had measured and everything would fit AND told him they (there were two of them) would need to remove the doors to get the new fridge in (pretty standard, right? I mean page 2 of the fridge manual starts instructions on what to do!). Driver then said the new fridge wouldn't fit through either of the paths because they use straps and its too tall and wide to fit. Told him with the doors off it will fit fine, and that they should use the dolly and it'll be fine. He didn't want to use the dolly because it might damage my floors (hardwood and tile) and that itd be too heavy... hmm... discussed with him that I disagreed and gave my permission to use the dolly... he deflected and said he didn't want to be liable for any damage, and that if he were local it wouldn't be a big deal (learned he was from Atlanta and the guy was from S. Carolina - we're in the Phoenix area). He called his supervisor and told her the situation and she agreed... I told him the dolly would be fine but no luck. So they unboxed the fridge and I had them put it in the garage since I WOULD have to go get a dolly, take doors off, and install it myself. Called home depot and chatted with them because I was very frustrated at this point, and they offered me one of their dollars (cool, I dont have to rent one now). New fridges have more doors, wires, and trays, so it took me a while to remove, which is now what I think the real issue was with the installers. They had a truck full of stuff to deliver and didn't want the hassle/time of getting my fridge installed (which i paid for). I got everything removed, got the fridge in the house (using a DOLLY) and the path they could have used, and got it set up. The dolly tracked some dirt in on the floor, but that was it. I get the "liability" issue in our litigious society, but I would have signed a waiver and such and unless they were negligent, nothing would have happened OTHER than me having to spend my work time installing a fridge I had paid to have installed. I truly think the drivers just didn't want to spend the time taking it apart. Alas, I will do my best to ensure I do not order anything from a company who uses Barlow's (thats you Home Depot)... not to mention i thought it was odd that they flew these two gentlemen in rather than using local labor? Thats a different issue... buyer beware!

Barlow Delivery came to deliver a washer/dryer unit
Barlow Delivery came to deliver a washer/dryer unit. I showed the delivery guy what to take out and where the new one goes. A few minutes later he called me in and said I had a broken valve and the water won't shut off. He turned the valve and then started to loosen the hose. Water came spraying out. Unfortunately I refused the delivery. After they left I went to the hardware store to get a new valve. I went in and turned the valves off and loosened the hoses. No water sprayed out and no leaks. We live in a 2nd floor condo with several stairs. These installers played me so they wouldn't have to bring the appliance upstairs. I called the supervisor on duty and she just gave me the run around. Says we can't hold the appliance for you and reschedule. She can't send the installers back because they don't want to come back. Of course they don't want to come back, they lied to us. Some supervisor. Can't get their employees to do it right. Pretty unbelievable that the supervisor didn't even care. We were really inconvenienced because we live out of town and were only here for a few days. We scheduled this delivery specifically for that day. Can't believe how we were treated. Have read some of the reviews left here and this is clearly a pattern of behavior.
I'm almost surprised but I guess not really that a lot of people had the same issue as me
I'm almost surprised but I guess not really that a lot of people had the same issue as me. Delivery/install guy called to tell me he was on his way which by the way wasn't friendly at all... He Said 30 to 40 minutes he'd be here but showed up in 15... As soon as he got in and was moving my old washer out he told me there was a problem and that my valves were broken and if he attempted to unhook that my house would flood. I kept asking questions as this is a 4 year old house and house valves looked pretty clean and easy to turn to me... He wouldn't let me try or turn off the water to the house. He told me that it was a liability and I needed a plumber to come out and fix my problem. So I did and I had them leave my new washer... Well the plumber came out to tell me my valves were fine and the install guy just really didn't even try... That being said seems like there's lot of reviews of the same issue. I think his name was ***. Just a kid really but how are you going to offer install and haul away and not be able to actually do those things? Even his co worker looked at the valves and like really? He took pictures too and I'm just not sure how their office can just be okay with 4 year old valves looking perfectly new and believing him that they didn't turn. The company should be shut down honestly. I'm not sure what they do if everyone has the same issue.

Worst delivery service I have ever experienced
Worst delivery service I have ever experienced. I purchased two appliances from Home Depot , to be delivered by Barlow. I was told that I would receive a call from the driver 30 minutes before delivery, so that I might meet the truck at the job site. I had been there 10 minutes before I was told by workers present that the driver arrived and left because one was there to sign for it. On the second attempt, the next week , I received a call informing me that the delivery would take place between the hours of 9 a.m. & 1 p.m. I arrived at the delivery location ( the job site) at 8:45 a.m. , when I was informed by workers present , that I just missed the truck for the second time. I checked my phone to discover that I missed a call 10 minutes prior. So much for 9a.m. to 1 p.m. , and 30 minutes advanced notification. When I called the dispatcher to complain , he said to me that he told me 8a.m. to 12 p.m was the delivery window and that he would have to reschedule for yet another week . I subsequently called Home Depot to have the delivery made to store for a will call pick up. That took another week. I was finally notified by both Home Depot and Barlow trucking that the appliances would be delivered to store on Tuesday , the 4th. I went to pick up the appliances on the following day , the 5th , only to discover that the appliances never arrived. I'm now informed that they are due on the 10th. The two Home Depot employees I dealt with went on to say that they have nothing but trouble with Barlow Trucking. One wonders why Home Depot does business with this company , at the expense of the customer.

Delivery Drivers are disrespectful and incompetent , we have used Home Depot for our appliances for years for our home and ours rentals,80% of the time they deliver appliances that have some kind of damage. Today 5/29 We had a new fridge from home depot being delivered they were on time which was a first. We are in the middle of a Pandemic , so the first thing I asked when one of the guys got out of the truck was about Masks , Gloves and Booties since they were going into our apartment at that point it became clear that he didn't understand English , so asked second guy when he got out the truck and he just said YaYa Ok. I went around the other side of the Apartment to do something else for a few minutes , walked back out near the truck still no PPE on delivery guys. I was clear at that point the hinges on fridge needed to switched to the proper hinge side that we ordered, The delivery guy had the freezer door off and laying on the steel tail gate of the truck trying the remove the screws from the hinge to move it and reaming the head of the screw with his junk screw gun. I have been a contractor for 35 years and asked him to just stop before he damaged the door and the screws and I would take care of it myself. He started yelling at me and lost it , could not understand most of what he said it was not English but I understood enough. I asked if they would just put it in the apartment and take the old fridge out leave reminded him before entering the apartment and about PPE and just decided to step away for a minute. I came back into the apartment and they had moved the new fridge in and did not have on any masks , gloves or booties. We had just cleaned and quarranteened that apt for over a week. Now We have to do it all over again. At this point they potentially contaminated the apartment and myself. We have followed the Covid guide lines to a T I had my mask on at the time but still have to clean the apartment again. I asked them to leave the apartment and go out side and he refused and threatened me , he realized at that point that was a mistake he left. We will take legal action against this company and yes its on video. Home Depot Just lost a long term and loyal customer , I don't get how they feel this is a good partnership with Company. Had to give them 1 star to post this they do not deserve it!

IThis is the first time writing a negative review for a company
IThis is the first time writing a negative review for a company. I like to focus on the positive. But when I say this is the most unprofessional company with *** POOR customer service... I can not express it any more. Upon initial delivery day of my washing machine (home warranty replacement), it arrived damaged, so they had to reschedule. This was after 4 weeks of it being ordered. After *** weeks, I was told the new washer was in and we scheduled for Friday. Thursday I was told a 2-6 delivery window. No one called and no one showed. When I called in Monday to find out what happened, I was told the washing machine was not even in the warehouse and I would get a call when it arrived. Ummm... how is it not there when *** called *** to schedule delivery? But I digress. After another two weeks we were told we'd have delivery on Friday.. didn't happen. Then told Monday. We expressed we needed delivery prior to 3pm. They came after 3pm and left a note. We DROVE *** THEIR LOCATION to talk with someone because phone calls don't get your passed speaking with *** or Mandy (two different people). They will put you on hold for 20 minute bouts stating they are trying to find their supervisor. Then that person is either in a meeting or out of the office. Fast forward. When driving to their location, we were told we'd have delivery on Tuesday. They showed up.(wow... they actually did something they said they'd do.). Then the younger delivery person right aways says "Do you have hoses, we can't deliver without hoses." I say yes. He then says, "New hoses? they have to be new." .. I reply they are new. "Okay" he says. Then, "I have to check your valves to make sure they aren't corroded." Mind you this house is 3 years old..sigh. I tell him that. Then... when he attempts to turn the valves off ( I can't see what he's doing). He says they can't deliver the washer because he is not able to turn off the valves. "No problem." I tell him. "I'll just go turn the water off to the house." He then tells me that's against company policy and I can't turn off the water to the house, it has to turn off at the hose. We go back and forth. He calls ***. *** says it's against their policy. At this time I am totally convinced there is some sort of secondary gain for them not delivering the washer (first one dented, second one didn't exist and now this one, well, you read it if you've made it this far). So I go into problem solving. I JUST NEED *** WASHER! "Can you take this one down and bring the new one up? I can install it." They said I have to disconnect everything from the old washer. I am DONE at this point. I turn the house water off. I disconnected the old washer. Finally, the older delivery driver who's been quiet the entire time, shows some compassion and helps me. This company is contracted with my home warranty company. I had *** choice but to be at their mercy. How they are in business I do not know. If you have a choice, I highly recommend finding someone else. When I came to look at reviews, it all made sense. Just bad business.

My dishwasher was installed missing a part and Barlow had zero integrity to flag it
My dishwasher was installed missing a part and Barlow had zero integrity to flag it. A week later the part/panel fell off and Barlow came back out to re-install the panel advising he can just remove the part. Im looking for compensation as this should have been rejected up delivery. Very unethical installers.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Barlows home delivery was paid to deliver and install my appliances. On the 2nd attempt to install my dishwasher Barlows again failed to bring/provide a power cord for my diswasher. The first time he informed me the powercord was not there so he couldn't install, I was told they would be back the next day to install it, the next day I receved a call to reschedule and not install, fine. Almost 2 more weeks for Barlows to come out, they show up with NO NOTE on my install form that the powercord was missing, so the tech says he cannot install AGAIN. The customer service agent *** was pompus and rude. I travel for work as well as work from home. I arranged my schedule twice, paid for install of this product that was purchased only to have them no follow through with what was promised TWICE, and the service has been paid in full. Paid for a product and it cannot be used. Well over a month from original install date.
Ongoing installation process for several months now
Ongoing installation process for several months now. Barlow's has been to my residence three times to unsuccessfully install a simple ice-maker. They lie constantly about the problem and situation. Their scheduling is only the night before like people don't have jobs. This is the worst servicing company in existence. Very rude people.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
They were supposed to deliver and install a dishwasher today
They were supposed to deliver and install a dishwasher today. First it was scheduled for delivery between 11:00am -3:00pm. That meant someone in the household had to take a day off work. When they weren't here by 2:00pm I called to see if they were still coming and they said yes but changed the delivery time to 2:00pm - 6:00pm. They did not show up. I never received as much as a phone call! Now they will need to deliver on a Saturday, not going to take another day off work.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I purchased a fridge on June 25th and paid for it along with delivery, installation and removal of my old fridge
I purchased a fridge on June 25th and paid for it along with delivery, installation and removal of my old fridge. Barlow rescheduled the delivery the night before delivery 3 times. They did not tell me that if my existing fridge had a copper waterline they would not disconnect it. They finally delivered the new fridge on 9/9. They refused to disconnect the old fridge and left the new fridge on the property disconnected. They finally agreed to return on 9/15. I had to pay a plumber to disconnect the fridge the morning of 9/15 (extra cost). I called on 9/14 to confirm delivery and the Supervisor apparently did not put me on the schedule for 9/14. In addition, there is not a single person available in the company to talk to me. The operator also refused to give me the name and number of their CEO/Corporate office. The issue remains unresolved. I also want reimbursement for delivery and installation fees.

We purchased a dishwasher from Home depot on 06/28/021 for around $700
We purchased a dishwasher from Home depot on 06/28/021 for around $700. This included delivery and installation from a third party which was Barlow. We finally receive the dishwasher on 07/14 in which the delivery/installers informed us they were not even going to take our new dishwasher off the truck because it was severely damaged. We then took pictures of the unit for evidence. Once they left we have made multiple phone calls to Home Depot, Barlow, Frigidaire and have received the run around from each party. Nobody taking responsiblity for the error. All we want is our new dishwasher and are being told we will have to wait another month to have it delivered. We were even told at one time that maybe we would be better off picking it up ourselves and installing it ourselves. We paid to have both of these completed. We have spoke with Michael in customer service and Dee in customer relations with no resolution on our new unit.

Barlow was hired by GE to replace an oven/microwave unit
Barlow was hired by GE to replace an oven/microwave unit. We weren't able to reach anyone to schedule and had to go through our Home Warranty to confirm a date and time on April 30. The team removed the old wall unit damaging our cabinets in the process. They then falsified the damage report and said there was preexisting damage, despite us physically witnessing (and hearing) the damage and watching them take a photo AFTER the damage was done. They said they would submit to claims, however, almost 2 months later this is unresolved. Several contact attempts lead to being told the person needed is not available, and has no direct line, voicemail, or email. The final delivery involved them dropping the new oven box in our kitchen and refusing to install, claiming it wouldn't fit without even opening the box. They left 3 minutes after dropping it in our kitchen. Ring photos attached to show no attempt to do the assigned job was made.

I prepaid $468 for a dishwasher and $140 for installation, but faced issues with Barlow's service.
About 2 weeks ago I prepaid $468 for a dishwasher and another $140 for Barlow's installation service. After a two-week wait, they arrived on 06/23 at 4:34PM. The rude employees claimed they couldn't install due to my reverse osmosis system. Requesting their manager's contact, they hastily left with my paid dishwasher. Contacting the main office, I was advised to get a professional company with trained plumbers for the installation. The delivery driver, who absconded with my dishwasher, ignored my calls and texts. It's perplexing why Barlow's would accept a job they're unqualified for. Their service is appalling!

I ordered an appliance suite from a major retailer and this is their installation company.
I ordered an appliance suite from a well-known retailer and this is the installation company they use. They failed to install all my appliances, leaving several in the middle of my kitchen. During the installation, a valve was left open, causing water damage in my kitchen and entryway. I refused to sign the installation paperwork as they didn't complete the job. Now, I need a restoration company to repair the water damage. The retailer acknowledged the poor service, refunded the installation cost, and I've filed a claim. Given the negative reviews, it's surprising they're still operating.

On 3/3 I bought a fridge from a store in Pine, AZ
On 3/3, I bought a fridge from a store in Pine, AZ. We got a text at 6:00 pm on 3/19 confirming delivery for 3/20 between 9 am and 1 pm. We drove 90 miles to Pine for the delivery. At 7:51 am, Irene from Barlow Company called to say they wouldn't deliver today as they don't work on Sundays. She offered Monday delivery but couldn't give a precise time. When I asked to speak to her boss, she hung up. We had a similar issue with Barlow before, and their website shows a low rating, indicating unreliable deliveries, yet the store still employs them.

On 7/20 Barlow's came to my home to install a microwave for my home warranty company
On 7/20 Barlow's came to my home to install a microwave for my home warranty company. When in stalling they requested a blanket to cover my stove during installation. I was working from home that day so was on site, but not in the kitchen with the installers. When they were done they called me in to sign the paperwork and left. Approximately 10 to 15 minutes later I could smell something burning. I went into the kitchen and found that when they removed the blanket they had inadvertently turned on the oven, which I use to store some containers. I opened the oven and found that the Tupperware was melted in my cake pan and all over my pan lids. I hurried and got the items outside before the fire alarms went off. In turn finding that all the shavings and mess from the install were all over the counter and floor. The blanket had been tossed in a corner. I immediately contacted the driver and he asked what I wanted him to do about it. I in turn called the company and sent the photos. Jason in the claims department was hard to get ahold of, and told me repeatedly he needed to talk to the installers when I could reach him. After no return call or email I reached out again with no reply, or resolution to the damage. The installers also did not wear gloves or masks in my home, which caused me even more work than the clean up, to sanitize the home. Therefore I am turning to the ComplaintsBoard.com to file a complaint.

In December we purchased a dishwasher from Costco and was to be delivered and installed by Barlow by contract
In December we purchased a dishwasher from Costco and was to be delivered and installed by Barlow by contract. On December 13, Barlow employees delivered the dishwasher and stated we didnt have the correct fitting which we would have to buy for them to return and install the dishwasher. While installers were at my home one of the delivery / installers untightened the dishwasher water supply line under my sink. For some unknown reason he didnt check to make sure it was tight before they left. This produced a water leak from him not tightening the water supply line. The leak was not detected for over a week, at which point the cabinet and everything under the water line were completely saturated. When we discovered the leak we immediately turned off the supply line, and began cleaning up the mess. The water had ruined our cabinet, with possible water damage to the wall as well. After several attempts to get this resolved, sometime in Janurary an employee from Barlow came to home and took photos of some of the damage from the leak caused by their emploee. To date I left numerous phone messages for both Barlow loss personnel and their insurance company with them failing to: 1. Repair the damaged cabinet from the water damage from their faulty installation. 2. Install my new dishwasher that is still sitting in my kitchen. Barlow Company and Sedgwick Claims have failed to address this negligence in a timely manner and further caused me and my family financial loss as well as suffering.

I ordered a microwave and range from a well-known retailer and Barlow's delivered them
I ordered a microwave and range from a well-known retailer and Barlow's delivered them. On 01 Nov 2021, two Barlow's agents arrived and couldn't use the existing bracket for the microwave, even though it was from the same manufacturer. They suggested I hire a handy person, but the retailer's 3-day return policy made this challenging. The agent, rushing to the next job, advised me to install it myself, which wasn't feasible. He was impatient when I tried to clean under the stove and wouldn't wait for me to call the retailer or decide on a solution. His insistence on hurrying and rudeness made me uncomfortable. A quick clean-up was possible, but he didn't allow it. He then damaged my floor by moving protective coverings while removing the appliances, leaving no new appliances, and the oven displaced. The microwave's reinstall is now uncertain, risking further damage or injury. This experience shows the company prioritizes speed over service. I'm seeking compensation for the damage and will not use their services again.

I ordered a washer and dryer over 3 weeks ago from a major retailer
I ordered a washer and dryer over 3 weeks ago. They outsourced the delivery to a terrible company. I was promised delivery today (March 17). I took off work, and my fiance was home all morning. The driver called, saying he'd arrive soon. I waited by the window but then received a call claiming they tried to deliver but we weren't home. I called the driver and the office without success. A rude representative argued with me, denying their mistake. The supervisor was no better, insisting I wasn't home despite evidence to the contrary. They failed to follow up after promising a call back. This company's customer service is appalling, and they show no respect.

I was scheduled to have my brand new dishwasher installed by Barlow's that was purchased from ***
I was scheduled to have my brand new dishwasher installed by Barlow's that was purchased from ***. I had a plumber out the previous week for an unrelated issue and as a precaution checked all valves to ensure all were proper. The delivery driver/installer came into my home looked under the sink and said "were not installing the dishwasher" and kept going on about that there not installing it. I kept on asking why and finally got an answer that the vale was corroded, I checked and the valve in question was in perfect working order and did not have any corrosion on it that would indicate an issue. As a precaution I offered to turn off the water to the whole house to ensure there was nothing wrong with anything. He then got hostile and began telling me no that is not how this works your just going to have to pay a plumber to replace this line. He then called their main office and placed the gal on speaker who got hostile and stated " your plumbing is not in compliance there is nothing more we can do" I then responded back asking if they were licensed as plumbers she stated "no" so then I responded "then how would you know what is in compliance or not if your not a plumber" this got to the point where I was starting to become frustrated with both the driver/installer and the gal from their office. Upon the driver/installer walking out to the garage the gal was still on speaker from the main office continued to berate me on how ungrateful I was and began saying hateful things about me. I then responded that "i heard you" comments from my driveway and she responded back saying she didn't care. The delivery/installer was also extremely rude and told me to "you better calm down or were going to have an issue" which then got to the point were both me and delivery driver were in each others face ready to start throwing hands. I then told them to drop off my dishwasher and leave the property.

Any large big box stores or appliance companies who are considering using this distributor, stay far away if you want to keep your own customers. I ordered a fridge from GE and paid for install to my 2nd story kitchen and to haul away my old fridge. The delivery team hauled away the old fridge. They loaded the new fridge into my stairwell, got halfway up the stairs, and then gave up. The fridge is sitting in my garage and I've been without a working fridge for a week. In addition to this, the delivery team damaged my stair hand rail, put a huge dent in the entryway ceiling, and badly chipped my wood door. The company was supposed to send out another team to complete the installation today but they no showed. I called in and was told I was never on the schedule. Customer service is rude and unhelpful, delivery teams are incompetent, stay away if possible.
This is the first time writing a negative review for a company. I like to focus on the positive. But when I say this is the most unprofessional company with extremely poor customer service... I cannot express it any more. Upon initial delivery day of my washing machine (home warranty replacement), it arrived damaged, so they had to reschedule. This was after 4 weeks of it being ordered. After several weeks, I was told the new washer was in and we scheduled for Friday. Thursday I was told a 2-6 delivery window. No one called and no one showed. When I called in Monday to find out what happened, I was told the washing machine was not even in the warehouse and I would get a call when it arrived. Ummm... how is it not there when I had called to schedule delivery? But I digress. After another two weeks we were told we'd have delivery on Friday.. didn't happen. Then told Monday. We expressed we needed delivery prior to 3pm. They came after 3pm and left a note. We drove to their location to talk with someone because phone calls don't get you past speaking with the first available representative or Mandy (two different people). They will put you on hold for 20 minute bouts stating they are trying to find their supervisor. Then that person is either in a meeting or out of the office. Fast forward. When driving to their location, we were told we'd have delivery on Tuesday. They showed up. (wow... they actually did something they said they'd do.). Then the younger delivery person right away says, 'Do you have hoses, we can't deliver without hoses.' I say yes. He then says, 'New hoses? they have to be new.' I reply they are new. 'Okay' he says. Then, 'I have to check your valves to make sure they aren't corroded.' Mind you this house is 3 years old..sigh. I tell him that. Then... when he attempts to turn the valves off (I can't see what he's doing). He says they can't deliver the washer because he is not able to turn off the valves. 'No problem.' I tell him. 'I'll just go turn the water off to the house.' He then tells me that's against company policy and I can't turn off the water to the house, it has to turn off at the hose. We go back and forth. He calls his supervisor. The supervisor says it's against their policy. At this time I am totally convinced there is some sort of secondary gain for them not delivering the washer (first one dented, second one didn't exist and now this one, well, you read it if you've made it this far). So I go into problem solving. I JUST NEED A WASHER! 'Can you take this one down and bring the new one up? I can install it.' They said I have to disconnect everything from the old washer. I am DONE at this point. I turn the house water off. I disconnected the old washer. Finally, the older delivery driver who's been quiet the entire time, shows some compassion and helps me. This company is contracted with my home warranty company. I had no choice but to be at their mercy. How they are in business I do not know. If you have a choice, I highly recommend finding someone else. When I came to look at reviews, it all made sense. Just bad business.
