I wouldn't give a star but had to
I wouldn't give a star but had to. We've been in our new home for a little over 2 years. It's falling apart and CA Jones hasn't even fixed any issues from our 10-day list, let alone our 1-year list of items we were supposed to provide them by a specific date. They ignore our emails and pictures and won't respond. Don't have CA Jones build your home. Our entire subdivision has problems with their homes and CA Jones won't fix them.
I had to give 1 star, but they don't deserve any
I had to give 1 star, but they don't deserve any. I signed a contract to a new build in December . I was in the process of selling my house in *** and bring my husbands (passed away 11/06) body back to be buried here. It was hard enough to do all this and keep contact with CA Jones. I was told the house would be completed the middle of February. I finally closed the first of March. While in the process of signing contracts, I paid an additional $650.00 for an insulated garage door. A non insulted door was installed. I went to ***, who is sales manager and she said this would be corrected. It was extremely hard to have her return my calls, and after we closed it was impossible I had left several messages with her to return my call with no call back. I was told they would have the garage door come out and glue styrofoam to the garage panels. After several weeks with no response and after going to the office in Fairview Heights, I explained to *** to just forget the door and give me my $650.00 back. She said this would be taken care of. After several more week I was told, by ***, I needed to call the garage door company and have them credit CA Jones and then my refund could be resolved. After talking to *** at the garage door company, I was told they do do refunds. So, I went back to the office and encountered a man who I suppose was the president. Very rudely and unprofessionally, I was told they need to talk *** and see what they can do. I have called and left a message with someone in the office to return my call with no response. This is a terrible company, if I had only known. There is not a resident out here that has not complained about something. So, as of today I do not have my refund or no call back.

We've been trying to reach out to C
We've been trying to reach out to C.A. Jones for quite some time now regarding the relocation of our kitchen island in our recently built home. According to the agreement we made during the 12-month inspection before closing on the house, the island was supposed to be fixed within a year of the home being built. We even made a note of the defect during that inspection. About 6 months ago, Eric came over to take a look at it and assured us that the necessary parts were being ordered. He then directed me to Jenny, who was supposed to coordinate the repair. However, since then, I haven't received any response to my emails or phone calls.
This company constructed our home
This company constructed our home. Our walls are bending, and they refuse to address the problem properly. The walls are bending because of a shoddy framing job. They recently responded to a comment on their Facebook page, admitting that they hire inexperienced carpenters, which explains the issues in our house. They tried to fix the problem by involving their drywall contractor, but that contractor confirmed that the issue lies with the house's framing. The salesperson from this company also deceived us during the sales process by falsely claiming that we would receive a tax credit for the solar panels. However, after the closing, we discovered that this was not true. Additionally, they relocated their office to Fairview Heights, IL.
We closed on our new house from C
We closed on our new house from C.A. Jones, Inc. on May 5. Before finalizing the deal, we did a final walkthrough and found some things that needed fixing. They assured us that they would come back within 10 days after closing to take care of these issues. However, despite our attempts to reach out to them on multiple occasions, they still haven't returned as of August 18. Here are the problems that remain unresolved:
1. There's a cracked basement window that leaks.
2. Many windows are missing screens.
3. The master bathroom vanity is lacking a toe-kick.
4. Outdoor shutters for the windows are missing.
5. The powder room wall still hasn't been repaired or painted after a leak.
6. There are large chunks of concrete missing from the front walkway.
7. The floors in the kitchen are bowing.
It's disappointing that these issues have not been addressed despite our efforts to contact them. We hope that C.A. Jones, Inc. will fulfill their promise and fix these problems soon.

We had C.A
We had C.A. Jones build our home. We gave them all warranty issues as per the contract. They say they don't receive them properly. We took our complaints to the owner who also ignores the issues. All walls were cracked. What they did fix, it cracked again. I have pics that we sent them of all our issues, lots of them. From broken cabinets to carpet. We even gave a list to the person in charge. They lie, did a poor job on our home. There might be a class action lawsuit from many homeowners in our subdivision. I just want everything fixed that I provided them multiple times and through their warranty website. We have proof of everything. Thanks, ***.
I bought a house from C
I bought a house from C.A. Jones, Inc. in 2016. In June , during a rainstorm, I noticed water on the floor near the wall and the patio door. I contacted the warranty representative, who said someone would come to check it as soon as possible. When the person arrived, they worked on the door and floor, removing the door and part of the floor, leaving only plywood flooring. They tried several times to fix the problem but eventually told us that their boss said the only solution was to buy a storm door, which they would install. We reluctantly did that, but the floor is still plywood. On March 25, we received an email saying that the flooring company would come to fix it. A representative from Ambassador Floors came, took measurements, and sent an invoice to us and the builder. On June 2, we were told that they were waiting for an invoice, which I sent again. That was the last communication we had with the company. I have sent multiple emails since then, but they have not been answered.
I bought a new house from C
I bought a new house from C.A. Jones in Waterloo, IL. I've had a few issues with the build/quality of the home, except for one thing. The spare bathroom bathtub, which has never been used, has a crack in the bottom that I didn't notice until after we moved in. I've talked to 5 different people from C.A. Jones, and they all said they would look into it and get back to me. After 4 months of no answers and being told they're still looking into it, I finally got a response today when I followed up. They say the crack isn't covered by the warranty because it looks like it was caused by an impact to the tub. I understand that might be the case, but I've told them that the tub was already damaged when I moved in, and it's their responsibility since they or their subcontractors installed it that way. Now I have a brand new house with a spare bathroom shower/tub that I can't use, and C.A. Jones won't take responsibility for the damage/installation. I've offered to accept a fiberglass repair instead of a completely new unit, which would save them money and be easier for me since I wouldn't have to go through a renovation. But they still don't think they're responsible.
CA Jones has been a terrible company to work with
CA Jones has been a terrible company to work with. We had problems right from the start when they sold us a house that hadn't even passed occupancy, and they didn't tell us about it before we closed. They've been really dishonest. Now we're having trouble getting them to follow up on our warranty claims. We closed on our home on 6/3 and right away I told them about the issues with the flooring. On 6/17, the flooring company came and found problems, including a hole in the subfloor. They said they needed to bring a carpenter from CA Jones to fix the subfloor before replacing the floor. On 8/19, two CA Jones employees and one person from the flooring company came and found major issues with the floor related to the subfloor. They called their boss to talk about it and decided to try other things before actually fixing the problem. It's crazy that someone who wasn't even in the house made that decision. Just like before, we weren't surprised that they were going to try quick fixes instead of doing the job right the first time. Anyway, CA Jones said they would call to schedule, but of course, they didn't. On 8/30/22, I emailed *** to ask if he had us on his calendar, but he didn't respond. On 9/8, I emailed *** again about the floor and some other warranty claims we were waiting on, but no response. On 9/16, I emailed *** to ask when *** would come back for the floor. Still no response, so on 9/22/22, I reached out to their marketing email address that they give out to people with issues on Google. *** got back to me on 9/23 and said she would contact the warranty department and make this a priority. On 9/23, *** emailed, "I have contacted all the subcontractors/vendors to get an update. I also contacted our internal employees to get a timeline on getting these items completed." It's now 10/10 and we still don't have anything scheduled.
My wife and I bought a house from CA Jones in February this year
My wife and I bought a house from CA Jones in February this year. The ground was still frozen, so we added finishing the yard to our Chart C addendum to be done in the spring. In the spring, we tried to contact CA Jones through the maintenance person listed, warranty personnel, email, and phone, but we were ignored for long periods of time when we wanted our yard serviced. When they finally came out, they didn't properly seed the yard and left debris like concrete chunks and nails. We tried contacting CA Jones again about the yard, but they didn't respond for a long time. I didn't mow the lawn during that time because it would have been unsafe for me, my neighbors, the lawnmower, or anyone else around. Eventually, the warranty guy sent two workers to remove the nails and debris, but they were overwhelmed and said the yard was graded incorrectly and had too much work for just the two of them. They referred my yard to their supervisor, who came out about two weeks later. He said the yard needed to be redone and promised to take care of it. Mark, the warranty specialist, emailed my wife and me to schedule the yard redo. However, the day before it was supposed to happen, we got another email from *** canceling the service because they claimed the yard was already done, despite the pictures I had sent. The next day, my wife and I called multiple times to get an explanation. *** agreed to come over with the original contractor who did the yard. When they assessed the yard, they were hesitant to admit anything was wrong, even though there were still debris and uneven grading. Eventually, they agreed to redo the yard, but they underseeded it and used the wrong type of grass. The soil they brought in washed away due to rain since there wasn't enough grass.
I've dealt with them before.
