I was promised a trial period
I was promised a trial period. After I saw the program, it's complete garbage. I tried to cancel, but they kept charging me anyway, saying they won't honor the trial period promise. Don't waste your time and money!
This company is the worst we've ever dealt with
This company is the worst we've ever dealt with. Our account representative, Ryan ***, hardly ever gets back to us, and when he does, it's with wrong information. The product doesn't work right, it's too complicated, and previous work orders have been completely lost.
I recommend anyone thinking about using their service to be cautious and search for alternatives
I recommend anyone thinking about using their service to be cautious and search for alternatives. I've been in the pest control industry for over thirty years, and this company should be closed down completely. Be careful. You'll remember this warning when you sign the contract that they will deceive you with.
This company is really bad to its customers and employees
This company is really bad to its customers and employees. They discriminate against people with medical disabilities and even fight them in court. They take over businesses and make them fail. Their customer service is terrible. I suggest going somewhere else. They should be closed down because it's basically a scam.
We reached out to Workwave, LLC to try out their software for free
We reached out to Workwave, LLC to try out their software for free. The salesperson insisted that we sign an agreement for the trial. We agreed and signed the agreement, with the assurance that we could cancel anytime. However, they didn't send us the login details. We asked for them multiple times but couldn't get a clear answer. Eventually, we sent a written request to cancel the trial because we decided to go in a different direction. After two weeks, they called us and finally provided the credentials. When we explained that our project was time-sensitive and we had already chosen another option, they referred us to their accounting department. The accounting department threatened us with legal action and demanded payment for the entire year's contract. We have reported this to our credit card company and the attorney general because it seems very suspicious.
I chose this software because they bought my old software company and I thought it would be an easy transition
I chose this software because they bought my old software company and I thought it would be an easy transition. Sales and software development said it had the features I needed. But when I used it, I found out it doesn't do what I require. No commission payments, tips, or bonuses. This is software for service businesses, and it doesn't have these features! I told them I couldn't use it and my account manager helped me get out of the contract. But they're still charging me and won't let me cancel! I couldn't use this software at all because it doesn't do what they promised. I tried contacting them, but the account manager says Accounting handles it and Accounting says the account manager handles it. Now I can't reach anyone. This company is so dishonest!

We started using the software in April , and since then, they've had a lot of glitches in their software
We started using the software in April , and since then, they've had a lot of glitches in their software. Some have been fixed, but others have taken months, and a few have taken over a year with no signs of them getting addressed. I have plenty of documentation of ongoing issues that I've been having with their software. WorkWave has breached the agreement by not correcting these deficiencies in a timely manner. Therefore, I have terminated the agreement early, which is in line with their agreement terms and conditions. Now they want me to pay for the buyout because I'm canceling.
I have the same problem as everyone else!
I have the same problem as everyone else! And all the complaints on Yelp (which I don't really like, but it does show a pattern.) It was obvious that the product couldn't meet our needs within just one day of using it. We gave Workwave two chances to prove that their service could work for us. The person who helped us with onboarding acknowledged the mistakes in their product and agreed that it couldn't do what we needed it to do. I tried to cancel and get a refund right away, but they refused. They want $2000 to cancel. In my opinion, that's very unethical. I've noticed that there are many other people who have similar complaints about Workwave.
The software wasn't up to par for me
The software wasn't up to par for me. It didn't import info from my old program, so I had to manually re-enter everything. They don't seem to offer a 30-day satisfaction period. I didn't finish the training and haven't logged in since expressing my dissatisfaction with the trainer. I asked twice for a phone call to discuss canceling, but no one has called. It's been 60 days since my last login, yet they keep charging my card every month. They even emailed me saying I have to buy out the 12-month contract, even though I never used the software for my business and didn't finish the training.
Is Workwave Legit?
Workwave earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%
Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.
We found clear and detailed contact information for Workwave. The company provides a physical address, 3 phone numbers, and email, as well as 5 social media accounts. This demonstrates a commitment to customer service and transparency, which is a positive sign for building trust with customers.
Workwave.com has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.
Workwave.com has been deemed safe to visit, as it is protected by a cloud-based cybersecurity solution that uses the Domain Name System (DNS) to help protect networks from online threats.
We looked up Workwave and found that the website is receiving a high amount of traffic. This could be a sign of a popular and trustworthy website, but it is still important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of the site before sharing any personal or financial information
However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While Workwave has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 7% of 14 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
- Workwave protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
We signed up for what was explained to us as a trial from the sales team at WorkWave
We signed up for what was explained to us as a trial from the sales team at WorkWave. We started trying to learn their software. After several training attempts, we couldn't understand WorkWave/PestPac and can't use the software. We called them after just over 30 days to cancel our services. The sales tactics were abusive, pushing us to sign up and attaching a document that was really long and confusing. It would take a lawyer to understand it. We don't use this product anymore, and now they're threatening to send us to collections after the trial. We don't use the system because we simply don't understand how it works. This old-fashioned system with greedy, abusive, aggressive, and misleading sales tactics is criminal. We're looking for a resolution, but they don't want to come to one.
I contacted Workwave for a demo of their product for my landscaping business that I was starting
I contacted Workwave for a demo of their product for my landscaping business that I was starting. The salesperson told me I could try the software for three months without paying while I was setting up the company. She said I could cancel anytime. Since I couldn't set up the company, I canceled on May 18. I got several confirmations and our account was canceled. My sales rep was helpful and nice. They never mentioned any issues with us canceling. We had NEVER used the software or finished any required training. It was only today when I got an invoice that I realized something was off. I called customer service and they confirmed our cancellation. Shortly after, I got another invoice for over $1,800.00. The sales rep was tricky by offering a "FREE" trial to try to make us use the software. We canceled before using it.
I kept getting contacted by this company, Workwave, LLC, to use their software for my small business
I kept getting contacted by this company, Workwave, LLC, to use their software for my small business. I had a lot of questions because I wanted to make sure it would work for me. They told me some things that turned out to be lies, like how easy and quick it would be to make estimates and quotes. They also said there was no annual contract, but now I know that's not true. When I first got the program, I had to figure out how to use it on my own because they didn't respond to my questions and it took over a week to get it set up. Even after three weeks, I still didn't know how to write an estimate, so I asked to cancel the service before my supposed month-to-month agreement was up. They didn't process my request and the sales agent never returned my calls. Now they want me to pay for the remaining 10 months, even though I was lied to. They said I was only signing a contract to have their service on file, but I agreed to use the software and they said it wasn't an annual service contract. They're threatening to send me to collections, and despite asking multiple times, I still haven't received a call from anyone in the past two months.
This company keeps bothering me and my business, and they even got a collection agency to bother me and try to collect a debt that I don't owe
This company keeps bothering me and my business, and they even got a collection agency to bother me and try to collect a debt that I don't owe. They said they would leave me alone and get rid of any fees or charges if I took down my complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com. We already had a complaint with them on [protected]. Now they're harassing me through a collection agency for $3100. It's not okay for this company to keep harassing me. They themselves admitted that we never used their services, and they agreed to leave me and my business alone if I dropped the complaint and they got rid of any fees or charges. This can't keep happening. We never used or accessed their services. The previous complaint number is #***. I don't want any contact from this company. I want them to stop bothering me through the collection agency and end the harassment. We don't owe them anything, and I want them to stop bothering me and send me a written confirmation. Thanks for your time. You can reach me at ***.
I got this cleaning biz and we use them GPS gadgets from workwave
I got this cleaning biz and we use them GPS gadgets from workwave. These gadgets stopped workin' on June 10. Workwave can't fix 'em or give us new ones. We need 'em for our everyday ops. When I asked to cancel my account, they told me I gotta pay $1900 to "buy" myself outta the contract. My contract is for workin' gadgets, but my gadgets ain't been workin' since June 10. Ain't nobody able to help or think 'bout how this problem's messin' with my company. If they told me they could fix 'em and gave me a date, at least I'd know what's goin' on. But they can't fix 'em and still keep chargin' me. They say they'll give me a credit when the gadgets are fixed, but that ain't right. I got an email sayin' if I don't pay my bill, they gonna cut off my service. But I ain't got no service! Nobody seems to get it. All I wanna do is cancel and move on. Why should I pay for somethin' that don't work? They broke the contract with me, and I need some kinda solution. Since Workwave ain't listenin', I'm reachin' out to ComplaintsBoard.com to see if y'all can help. Thanks.
In April 2022, I wanted to meet with someone from WorkWave LLC's sales team to talk about their software and see if it would be a good fit for
In April 2022, I wanted to meet with someone from WorkWave LLC's sales team to talk about their software and see if it would be a good fit for our company. I met with a sales team member and explained that I needed software to track our clients for upcoming cleanings. The sales team assured me that their software would work for us. I asked for a trial of the software to make sure it was what I needed, but they said no. I went back and forth with the salesperson, and they kept assuring me that it was the right choice. So, we signed the contract. But later, when I met with a member of the training team, I found out that the system didn't track the way we were told. The only way to track was to have a list of all clients and go through it to schedule cleanings. This was the opposite of what we agreed upon. I contacted WorkWave multiple times to explain the situation, but they didn't listen. I spoke to the account manager and got transferred to accounting, and they told me the only way to cancel the contract was to pay a buyout fee of $3,569.00. WorkWave gave us false information, and now we're stuck with a contract that doesn't meet our needs.
This company got some weird and confusing ads and marketing
This company got some weird and confusing ads and marketing. When I checked their complaint history, it seems like this is a common thing for them. I needed routing software for my garbage business, so I called them up and they told me about a "three month trial" for the software. I thought, great! So I set up a demo with a salesperson. The demo went well and I really liked the software. But guess what? The salesperson never mentioned anything about a trial. In fact, they said there's no "free trial" at all. When I brought up what I was told before, they suddenly said it's not a trial, it's actually buy 12 months and get 3 months free. That's not a trial at all! It's like they tricked me or something. I won't do business with them because of this. It feels like they're crossing the line with their misleading ads, almost like breaking consumer protection laws. And to make it worse, the salesperson even said, "Honestly, I agree with you. It's tough having to explain this all the time." If their own salesperson is saying that, they really need to rethink their marketing.
I signed a contract to get access to a cloud-based pest control software program
I signed a contract to get access to a cloud-based pest control software program. We had a verbal agreement that I could use safe handheld devices, they would transfer data for free, and I would receive unlimited technical support. They also mentioned that I or they could modify reports to meet my customers' needs. However, things started going wrong from the beginning. They informed me that they could only retrieve partial information, and it seemed like the data tech didn't want to enter the information. Eventually, I had to do it myself.
When I reached out to support about the handheld scanner, they simply said, "we don't support them." They didn't even try to connect with the other company's support team. This caused me to lose customers because I couldn't use unsafe devices at their facilities. Moreover, the reports generated by the software were rejected by government inspectors because they lacked the necessary information to verify the inspected equipment. When I brought this up with my account rep, he seemed surprised and contacted them. However, they still refused to address the issues.
Since I couldn't use the program at my customers' facilities and support was declining to help, I informed my account rep that I wanted to cancel. This was despite their promise of "unlimited Technical Support." It took a whole week and numerous phone calls to finally receive a response. They told me that it would cost $7356.00 for a year, even though they wouldn't provide support and I couldn't use the program. To make matters worse, the billing wouldn't even start until the next month.
I could understand if they wanted me to pay for the limited trial I was able to do, even though it was supposed to be free. However, charging me for something they refused to support is just unacceptable.
I signed up with PestPac (Workwave) in August
I signed up with PestPac (Workwave) in August . I signed a 12 month contract with them, thinking they would deliver what they promised. We started onboarding in August , and by the end of November , my company was only halfway through learning how to use the software. They charged me $360 a month while my team and I were learning. Even after spending $1200, I still couldn't use the software properly.
I tried calling my account manager, Jason King, multiple times to speed up the process, but he never followed through on his promises to have someone call me. Frustrated, I decided to cut ties with this unprofessional and money-hungry company. I made four unsuccessful attempts to cancel, and on the fifth and sixth calls, I spoke to people who promised to have someone reach out, but it never happened. Finally, on my seventh call, I managed to get hold of Jason. However, he was unresponsive to my complaints and didn't offer any suggestions or a plan to resolve the issues.
This company is trying to force me to stay in a contract that I refuse to pay for. They are only interested in money and don't care about unhappy clients. After feeling upset, I went online to see if others had similar issues. I checked their Yelp reviews and found that they only have 1.5 stars and the exact complaints I have. Their software is not as advertised, and their customer service is terrible. They need to be held accountable for their actions. How can a CEO in the USA take businesses' money like this? Please investigate this matter.
We were supposed to have the Workwave software up and running by 1/17/22
We were supposed to have the Workwave software up and running by 1/17/22. However, we didn't hear anything from them until 2 days before, so we didn't have time to get trained or set up. I asked for more time, but they didn't give it to us. We decided to move forward anyway. But despite our many attempts to make the software work with our operations, it just didn't live up to what they promised. The agent from their company, ***, told us that the software would easily allow us to input our brokers' trips, but that wasn't true. We went through all the training, made countless calls and sent emails, but when I sat down with their trainer because our Logistics Manager, ***, couldn't get the software to upload our trips from Veit still didn't work. Even the trainer had a hard time with it. This should have all been sorted out before our start date, as *** had assured us. But we never got to use the software. We even paid upfront because the trainer said he was working on a solution, but it didn't work. At that point, I asked to speak to upper management. Overall, I requested a discount because the software had problems and we couldn't get it to work. We really tried to use this software to make our lives easier, but in the end, even the trainer admitted that it wouldn't work for us. The conversion from Veyo's trips to their software just doesn't work. We paid $325.00 for something that doesn't work. And now they want us to pay another $325.00 for February 2022! We asked for a discount on the initial $325.00. We tried to work with them. After all the time we spent and them not delivering what they promised the software would do, they expect us to pay more.
We inquired in November , December & January to inquiry on canceling our services entirely with work wave
We inquired in November , December & January to inquiry on canceling our services entirely with work wave. We were told on ALL phone calls that March 13 we could cancel ALL services with Work wave if we did so within 45 days of March 13. I called 45 days prior and spoke with Jason K…on all occasions. In February I called and spoke with Jason K….to confirm cancellation of all services and to get a final back up our account. After we cancelled ALL services Jason King was no longer our account manager and NOTHING was cancelled. Also, when we tried to get our Credit Card Tokens sent to our new provider (which was our original provider) we were given the run around for 3 months. Of course again we had to go through 3 different account managers. We have since been told our accounts were never cancelled and have continued to be charged. Phone calls were never returned when we tried to rectify this situation. Account mangers switch places so we are never dealing with the same person. We should not be charged for anything after March 13. When we called in November, December & January. We continually repeated our self and said "all accounts cancelled in full for verification" which was confirmed by their employee Jason K. As we heard that this is their practice to drag cancellations out and continue to charge customers.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
They never produced a working product. They charged me $1575.00 when they stated we would not be charged until the product was delivered. To make things worse they sent me collection for $2249.67.
