BC Ferries / British Columbia Ferry Services review: Ferry service

Monday, August 21st as a local resident who had to last minute come over for medical appointment in Vancouver is screwed over of getting home. I am sitting at the BC fairies for the last 3 hours. Waiting for a sailing to get home. I could not make reservations because as I said previously, I'd last minute cancellation for an appointment in Vancouver. As a resident being stuck on an island with a ferry service who gives no s**** about local residents is absolutely disgraceful. You should have local spaces reserved for people like myself who is not a tourist who cannot have the luxury of booking weeks if not months in advance for a space on a ferry boat that is basically funded by the BC government despite being a private company. Shame on you BC ferries. Shame on you BC government. Shame on all of you for being so short-sighted and only focused on the bottom line money.

Basically we are working with a company who screws over local residents every summer keeping us trapped on an island.
