What the hell! I have had $65.90 deducted from my account by the following merchant

When I looked this up it was dating site I have never even heard of let alone subscribed to. How the hell do they have my account details, and I want my money refunded ASAP. I also do not want to be subscribed in the first place, but when I tried to contact be2 on the oly phone number I could find it went through to a fax number.
How do I contact someone to dispute this?

unable to cancel auto subscription
On April 25, 2016 I subscribed for a promo period of 6 months but I received a collection notice on December 2016 for auto subscription. I don't remember doing an auto subscription but decided to pay because I can't cancel with an outstanding balance. I borrowed from a friend and she paid with her credit card. I have cancelled my subscription but I was told that I need to pay the renewal fee first, which I did before I can cancel. I've sent so many follow-up emails and fax messages but they keep on telling me that they haven't received the latest membership fee from me. I am therefore requesting to have my subscription cancelled as soon as possible.

auto-extension of service, refund not made
The company automatically charged me for an extension of service for 3 months, which is absolutely against my will. The company intentionally hides the membership auto-extension in T&Cs. There is no way to cancel the membership by following the websites instruction. I can finally reach the company by email at [protected]@be2.com on 25 Nov but the money was charged on 23 Nov for the auto-extension. My payment on August 23 was HKD1197, (based on monthly fee HKD399). However, HKD1497 was deducted on 23 Nov.
After dealing with the company, it promised to reduce the membership extension to one month and refund. However, the promise has not been made and no further reply has been received from the company. On the condition that only one-month extension is made, the company should return me a total of HKD1098. If possible, I request the company returns me the full charge of HKD1497.

The payment € amount is nothing, now it is question of principles.

I have discovered in my JUNKBOX a swag of emails form a debt collector representing Be2, claiming that I owe the company money, that I will be taken to court, that I will incur the cour costs as well as be forced to pay Be2.
That came as big surprise to me, because I cancelled my subscription years ago when I noticed catalogue photos of the same blokes appearing time & time again with different names ! Be2 said the photos were there to provide a 'more satisfying online experience' for the user, and that some chaps preferred not to post their photos.
I decided to leave the site because customer service & communication were appalling, needless to say, cancelling my subscription was just as complicated, unsatisfying and horrendous.

Upon joining be2, i was promised for the minimum rate of around $65 i could be a member for around 3mnths, it turned out after i entered my credit card details, they went ahead and withdrew $165 for 6 month period, i tried to contact them but got nowhere, as they have a computer generated messaging service thats absolutely useless, plus, they have a fake australian phone number, i cant believe governments allow foreign companies to scam their own people!

Unreliable and indeed operators of services that are unreliable and tend toward dishonesty need to be told of their indiscretions so they can correct such activities . Why is an overseas company able to use a .au address. This is just to con people into thinking that they are an Australian company. I have been trying for 3 days to cancel my membership. This is impossible with all online options. I try to delete my Profile. This is not possible online. I email them. They email back, computer generated rubbish about how to delete my profile online. They setup under the .nz domain here in New Zealand. I went into my bank (Westpac), and they were aware of Be2. They gave me a credit for the last auto-payment to Be2, and Be2 didn't try again. I didn't have to cancel my credit card, although I would have done so to get ride of these thieves.

I totally agree. I cancelled my membership immediately after I signed up ( instant regret). Pay Pal agreed to reverse the charge and refund. I become member since September 2013 of be2.sg because of reference from my sister who lives in singapore, but after i become member i found out that most of the members are listed as romance scam. so on November 2013 i cancel my membership, and i found out that they made it difficult to close the account, so i email my cancellation to the customer service along with phone from my sister directly to their customer service. the customer service then reply that my credit card will not be billed again. but yesterday i found out that my credit card has been billed by be2, and i'm starting to email the customer service, but customer service in singapore did not respond at all until today. the problem is my credit card is from HSBC, which has known is not customer oriented, so i decided to close the credit card, and losing my money, its better than being charged every 6 month.

I signed up for a trial and after a couple of weeks I shut down my site. I got a message that they were going to take more money from me so I tried to go into the sit to cancel my membership but couldn't access it. After a few months they took a years membership out of my account so I sent them emails complaining and asking them to shut down my membership. They kept sending me messages to go into my account and close it. I kept telling them I couldn't get in without giving them my credit card details. I said I would pay them by pay pal up to the time they wanted money just to get out of it but they insisted I give them my credit card details. I realized I had paid for a year by them taking the money out in march this year. I still can't access my account with them and they are sending me money saying they are going to get a collections company involved. I sent them an email stating that since they took money out of my account this year I actually didn't owe them anything. No the sit tells me my email isn't recognized so I can't access my account. They are frauds. I have paid for a year and can't use the site.

As have many other people I signed up for the trial membership & cancelled days later due to the terrible qualityof the website & matches etc. Emailed and faxed my cancellation as the online link to cancel wasn't working...
Then $234 was withdrawn from my account and they claim to have never received my cancellation despite my having fax transmission reports and automatic email responses...

Unfortunately, these guys are based in Luxembourg and as far as I am aware does not operate within Australian law. I was about to sign up to a premium membership when I noticed that membership renewal was automatic - that turned me off completely as I feel like I'm giving them free range to my credit card. Since then I have discovered on numerous websites about these guys and how they operate, mainly in the UK so I'm glad I didn't join up. As for your position - I would suggest you contact your bank, if you haven't done so, show them evidence that you have tried to contact be2 to cancel your membership and report the fraudulent activities of your account to your bank and contact the police and consumer affair. Some comments from the UK victims when they cancelled their credit cards - that you may get letters threatening you with legal action from debt collectors but apparently they never showed up. Im sure once you report it to the Police they will be able to advise you what to do next. Good luck and keep us posted.

I joined this dating service via Facebook last year as it was free. However on 31 March this year $234 was withdrawn from my financial institution without my permission. I emailed them as soon as I discovered this. They replied saying they had not taken any money. I replied saying they had and including the name on my account statement identifying them. I too have been caught up in the be2 deb tilting my card. I reversed the payment have contacted them on numerous time via the only avenue being email only to get the automatically generated response can't get an answer can't cancel they say I owe $294 and are threatening legal action. The same here! I am a victim of be2 too! They charged me $270 on my credit card initially for 6 months in January 2014. I tried many times to cancel the membership / unsubscribe online and also by email, but my attempts were all unsuccessful. Then, in July 2014, they charged me another $270 for renewal of further 6 months. Then, I faxed to them and finally got cancellation confirmation for membership from them. Also, I went to my bank to complain about the unauthorised payment and cancelled my credit card. Luckily, I got payment back from my bank. Last week, I also got emails from be2 and they said I owed $291 and were threatening legal action.
I hope some government agency could deal with b2, so there would not be more victims. It is a fraudulent scam!

I signed up for free trial & then tried to cancel subscription due to the contacts that were coming through. I was not feeling comfortable or safe. I sent a number of emails advising that I had followed their instructions on how to cancel and delete subscription online but it was not giving me the option. I was then being replied to advising that I needed to send back a written letter or fax to cancel and that it had to be done in a certain time frame otherwise I would have to pay the full subscription. I advised them I could not do that as I am in a third world country living at the moment & they do not have faxes & previous letters I had tried to send never reached the destination. I advised then again on a number of occasions when they came looking for money that I had cancelled and now I am receiving debt collector emails advising I owe $186 euros. This is a massive scam & I have since found the same issues from others.
