I recently placed an order with Bedbathandbeyond on Monday, Nov 14, 2023 and before I completed my order, I was given a two day delivery date of Wednesday, Nov 16, 2023. Yesterday I received a text from BB&B and was advised that my order was now delayed until Dec 31, 2023. I immediately contacted their office at [protected] and was told I could not cancel my order because it just shipped. I would then have to wait for it to be delivered and then I could request to return and receive a refund.

I am 72 y/o and on a very tight budget and the only reason I was looking for a new floor lamp was my existing floor lamp shorted out and I had to discard it. I went with BB&B because of quick delivery and free returns.

In addition to contacting them via 800 number I also began a chat however it was ALL robotic and never offered me any assistance.

Lastly, I submitted an email to their customer service department yesterday as well and so far no acknowledgement that they even received this email and are working on my behalf.

I would very much like to cancel this order ASAP and get refunded so I have the ability to purchase another lamp at a different company.

Any assistance provided would be greatly appreciated.
