I recently met with and got quotes for replacement windows from 4 companies. The price difference between each company was unbelievable. After I interviewed each company, I compared their reviews on the ComplaintsBoard.com, Good Contractor's List, Angie's List, etc. I finally decided to go with Best Buy Windows & Siding. The quality of their windows is way better than the original windows on my house. Dax helped me redesign a few big windows I had and gave me options to choose from. Shelly kept me updated on the status of the windows. The crew that came for the installation was really professional. I can't say enough good things about this company, their product, and their employees. I definitely recommend Best Buy Windows and Siding and will use them again soon!

This here's a complaint 'bout Best Buy Windows and Siding. I hired 'em to put in new windows on April 1st. But guess what? Half them windows don't even open like they said they would. I done asked 'em 'bout 25 times to fix it, but ain't nobody bothered to do nothin'. They sent some folks over twice, but all they did was look around and make empty promises. It's been almost a whole dang year now, and I ain't waitin' no more. I ain't lettin' 'em lie to me no longer. This work happened at my place, the address I mentioned earlier.

I signed a contract for the windows, and the employee mentioned that the job would be completed within 6 to 8 weeks. However, they never showed up to do the work, and I didn't receive any email or phone call to provide an update. I patiently waited for 12 weeks, assuming they weren't coming. Frustrated, I decided to take matters into my own hands and purchased the windows from Home Depot, installing them myself. I called Best Buy Windows & Siding to inform them about the situation and canceled my contract. To my surprise, they now insist that I must pay 50%. How can they ask for payment when they didn't provide the service within the promised timeframe? This shows a great deal of irresponsibility on the part of the company.

I ordered 34 windows on 7/21. In November 21, the windows were installed. Two came broken, a 3-unit was the wrong size, and one window that was installed was found faulty - they agreed to replace it. It's now 5/24/22 and I'm still waiting for the six windows. I've called the office many times and the owner's cell phone. No reply! The windows seem good and the installation of 29 windows went well but their customer service is terrible. I'm probably gonna buy the remaining 6 windows from another seller since I can't get a response from this company. It's a good thing I only paid a small downpayment on this project. This could be a really good company if they learned how to provide customer service and keep customers updated on their orders.

In October , Best Buy Windows and Siding put in new windows at our house. My wife noticed a cracked window and debris in some of the new windows on January 02. They never called her back with any updates. My wife kept calling every month after that, but they always gave the same excuses: COVID, waiting for the manufacturer, supply chain problems, no sorry, and so on. They eventually stopped responding to her attempts to reach out. So, in early 2022, I called (from an unknown number), and they told me the same old story. It will be 1-1/2 years since we reported the window issues in July. We're still waiting for them to honor the warranty and replace our windows. No apologies, no effort, no follow-up, no estimated resolution date, no solutions.

But, when we bought the windows, our salesman Jerry told us that if we referred customers to them, we would get a Referral Fee of $50 for double pane windows (per window bought) or $75 for triple pane windows (per window bought). I referred a customer, someone I went to school with, and she and her husband got 30 windows replaced! Best Buy Windows & Siding started their job in April and finished it in November . My husband and I have called Best Buy Windows & Siding many times to find out where our Referral Fee is. Right now, we think they are lying to us! They keep giving us the runaround. They owe me a big Referral Fee and it's about time they paid up!

Unfortunately, one window was missing, and there was also a screen missing, along with a damaged screen. The installation crew made a note of these issues on the work order, which I signed.
I was aware in advance that the sliding glass door would not be delivered at the same time as the windows, so that wasn't a surprise. However, what did surprise me was the lack of communication from Best Buy Windows & Siding regarding the remaining issues. Despite making multiple calls to their office, all I got was voicemail. I left messages each time, but I never received a call back.
Finally, on August 27 at 12:45 PM, I decided to give them another call. I spoke to a person named Shelly, who unfortunately couldn't assist me with my concerns. She mentioned that Eric, who was currently on another call, would call me back once he was available. However, it has been thirty-one days since that conversation, and I have yet to hear from Eric or anyone else from Best Buy Windows & Siding.
At this point, all I want is for them to fulfill their promises. I want my missing window and screens to be delivered as soon as possible. Additionally, I believe it's only fair to request a full refund of $1750 for the sliding glass door that was never provided.

I'm really disappointed! We ordered 23 windows from Best Buy Windows & Siding in June . We had them all measured and then patiently waited for over 22 weeks to receive our windows. Finally, we got the call that our windows were ready to be installed. The installers came early in the morning and did a great job installing 21 of the 23 windows we ordered. However, it turns out that the last 2 windows needed to be re-measured and new glass had to be ordered. We were okay with that and paid in full for all 23 windows, thinking that the final 2 would be replaced soon or that someone would at least keep us updated.
Since the 21 windows were installed in January 2022, I have been calling, emailing, and texting to find out the status of the last 2 windows. I only received one text response back in January, saying that they needed to find another glass person. But since then, there has been complete silence and no one is responding to my messages.
Just a few weeks ago, Best Buy Windows & Siding cashed our full payment check without any issues, so I know they are still in business. However, I am still waiting for them to do the right thing and complete the installation of our last 2 windows. I had hoped for a great outcome, but it seems like my hopes have been dashed.

The installer said they would replace the broken tiles, but couldn't do it on the same day. After a few weeks, their manager Eric came to my house to assess the damage and said he would get back to me. He mentioned that due to Covid, they might struggle to find someone to fix the tiles. I've called Eric more than 35 times in the past year and left messages, but he only called me back when I threatened to contact the ComplaintsBoard.com. I've called 5 times in the last 4 weeks, asking for him to call me and even requesting to speak with the owner, but I haven't received any response. My master bath window still doesn't have the tiles that were broken. This complaint is not about the windows they installed, but the damage they caused to my home. I don't know what else to do except file this complaint. It's been a little over a year now. I'm a 75-year-old woman who just wants the tiles repaired and installed.

The total price was $2,115 and we paid $710 (25%) upfront. *** told us it would take 2-4 weeks for the measuring person to contact us for an appointment. He also mentioned that due to supply chain issues, the windows might take 60-90 days to arrive after the measurements. I appreciated *** being upfront about the timeline. However, 2-4 weeks passed and we didn't hear anything. On the 5th week, I contacted the company and they said the measuring guy would be in touch soon. Another week went by, then another, and still no contact. I reached out to the office again and they said *** would get back to me. A few days later, he left a voicemail apologizing and saying our paperwork had fallen through the cracks. He promised to have the measurement guy contact me. But again, weeks went by and no call from the measurement guy. Last week, I called the office once more and they said *** would contact me. After a few days, I contacted the office again and they said *** would be in touch. After a few more days, I texted *** asking if we could schedule the measurements or get a discount since this process had been dragging on. *** texted me this past Wednesday asking me to call him, which I did the same day and left a voicemail. As of now, it has been 63 days since I signed the contract and no measurements have been taken, and no windows have been ordered. It seems like I'm out $710 and still without windows, while BBW & S hasn't lost anything.

During the installation, the lead worker informed me that one screen was damaged and another was missing. He said he would report the issue to headquarters and they would take care of it. It's been almost a year now, and despite sending many texts to different people, I still haven't received the screens. I paid for the job in full at the time of installation, and I'm disappointed that I haven't received the complete service. On 9/30, I texted Shelley to let her know that the screens never arrived. She replied saying she would handle it. On 10/11, I texted Shelley again asking for an update. On 10/13, Shelley replied asking for a suitable day to install the new screens, which was set for 10/18. However, when the crew arrived, they brought two new windows instead of screens. They said they would inform headquarters about the mistake. On 12/16, I texted Shelley again asking for an update on the missing screens. Erik replied saying the office was closed and he would handle it after 1/1/22. On 1/11/22, I texted Erik and Shelley asking for an update. Shelley replied saying Erik would call me. On 1/13/22, I texted Shelley again asking for an update. She sent me Erik's number and informed me that my grandson had fallen out of a second-floor window without a screen but luckily landed on the patio cover and was unharmed. On the same day, I texted Mark, the sales representative, and explained the problem once again. He said he would do his best to resolve it. On 1/14/22, Erik called me and explained that there was a shortage of materials. He assured me that the job would be completed within a few days. On 3/7/22, I texted Shelley and Erik but received no response. On 4/5/22, since Erik and Shelley were no longer responding, I texted Mark and told him that I would be willing to place a new order for more windows for the rest of the house as soon as the screens were installed (prioritize the previous order first). As per Mark's request, I emailed him a detailed timeline of all the events since the installation. On 4/26/22, I texted Mark again for an update on the screens. He left me a voicemail saying he would handle it and get it done. Today, on 7/1/22, I texted Mark for an update, but I haven't received a response yet.

We hired Best Buy Windows on 9/15 for our windows to be installed on 4/22/2022. Shelly told us twice that a "big crew" would come between X:XX-X:XXam. But only 2 installers showed up late (after 10am) and started installing the windows. They didn't use saws or try to remove the 2-inch screws holding our window frames. Instead, they just pried the windows out, causing the wood frames to splinter. They say this is how windows are removed, but we've heard conflicting information.
Halfway through, we heard a loud crash and a stack of bricks between a back window and a screen door fell to the ground. The installers admitted fault and said they had a relative who was a mason and would fix it. They resumed window installation a few hours later at the front of our house, but more bricks fell. The installers didn't want to continue, but it was getting dark (and it was almost the weekend), and we had 2 windows removed and 2 partially removed and cracked. They refused to continue unless we agreed to take responsibility for any masonry work in the front. It was unfair to put us in that position.
After much discussion, they only took responsibility for the back brick. However, they still haven't made the repair. They agreed to come on May 6th or 7th, but they never showed up. We spoke to Eric at Best Buy twice on Monday, May 9th, and he said he would find out what was happening and call us back, but he hasn't. They also owe us 2 window screens (1 ripped and 1 missing). They promised to replace them within 1-2 weeks, but it's been much longer.
Furthermore, Best Buy didn't even get the necessary permit to work on our home, which our city and the contract require. Very unprofessional.
