We ordered a hen house for the mallard ducks. It was just some boards in a box with some directions that could not be read. The boards were cracked and, after much work, the finished product is not anything we would buy. Very disappointed with this company.

The manufacturer has advised that the plaque is within their acceptable parameters. The manufacturer is advising the images sent show the product to be accurate and would not be manufactured any differently if remade. I sent them pictures of the address not even and they didn't care.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered a windmill spinner and the day I received it tried to put it together. The four blade pieces did not come together in order to insert a screw that held them together. I called customer service and was told to take a picture of it and they would decide if it is defective. I was told I should use pliers to bend the metal to make it work. I decided to send it back for fear that bending the metal would break it and I would not get fully refunded. I was then told I would be refunded the amount paid less the shipping charge, plus I was responsible for pay shipping for sending it back. I paid $159.99 for the windmill, had to pay for $36.00 shipping fee for them shipping it to me, and then had to pay $90.00 to ship it back to them. What a RIP OFF. Their website does not allow for reviews and I now understand why, because they would be out of business with all the negative feedback about their cheap products and horrible customer service.

PROCEED WITH CAUTION with BestNest.com! Would not refund a seriously wrong shipping charge on my order! EXTREMELY BAD customer service issues. Supervisor made me feel frustrated and helpless due to a charge that was BestNest's fault. If I could give 0 stars, I would! My charges on my order were seriously wrong. I contacted them less than two hours after placing the order and they would not refund my money. The check-out process gave me free shipping. They went ahead and charged me almost $200 to ship a bird box and an extender pole to me! SERIOUS ROBBERY! Spoke to Zach the 'supervisor' the next day - evening I may add - and he was extremely rude and spoke to me like I was a child walking me through the whole ordering process. Did not help me at all and had no intention of helping me get the shipping cost refunded. BestNest is seriously not customer friendly making you seriously feel helpless if your order is wrong and too expensive for them to fix even though THEY are the one's at fault. This business should help their customers instead they are only looking out for themselves and do not care about the people buying their products. PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION if you deal with this company which I do NOT recommend you do!

Absolutely horrible and condescending customer service! After ordering a $250 arbor, paying an additional $65 for shipping, we were missing multiple pieces. At first call, it appeared we were missing all the instructions, PVC glue, 3 caps, and all the hardware. Our landscaping company was going to build and install the arbor. The customer service representative requested I look thru all the pieces (despite our company already doing so) with him on the phone. He also snidely asked how I knew which pieces were missing if I didn't have the instructions. Well, they are on your website in PDF. One week later, we received the missing parts. Of course, we were not offered any overnight or 2-day shipping. When building it this time, it's discovered we are missing all 4 pergola beam end caps. I called Best Nest again, spoke to the same arrogant representative, and was told to call the manufacturer as outlined in the paper instructions I received. He noted the manufacturer does not like to provide duplicate requests for the same order and there was nothing he could do. I asked for supervisor when he commented "I asked you last week if other parts were missing". Yeah, thanks for that but it wasn't together and literally these pieces are the final step. He told me he was the supervisor and there was nothing else he could do. Needless to say, I won't buy from Best Nest again or the manufacturer (New England Arbors). Clearly there is no quality check and horrid customer services.

I ordered a planter on their website
I ordered a planter on their website. After putting it together it is not al all what I wanted. It is cheaply made and the dirt is going to seep out the sides. It had some snap in pieces that can not be taken apart. I am completely disappointed. When I called to try to set up a return ( I explained all my reasons for being unhappy and disappointed ) I was told that I can not return it because I put it together there is no way for them to take it back. I really just wanted this resolved I just wanted to return the item I have no use for it.

This relates to a Semi-circular Plant Support I recently purchased for $87.99. I generally try to procure items made in the USA to help American companies out. This particular item, along with many other items sold by BestNest, was clearly marked as Made in USA - see screenshot of the BestNest.com website for the item I purchased. However, the item I received, as indicated by the photo of the package label, is clearly marked as Made in Mexico. This is false advertising, and I suspect this is not the only item marked as Made in USA that is not. Also, using the Made in USA label provides an opportunity for a company to charge higher prices as items actually made in USA are generally at greater cost, but also of better quality.

I purchased a birdhouse through the company in the amount of $134.99. The birdhouse was one that needed to be assembled, and in light of Covid-19 concerns and relevant advisories about receiving packages, I left it in the box for a few days to ensure if coronavirus was present on the packaging or interior it would die off before I attempted assembly. Upon assembling the birdhouse, it soon became clear that the pieces did not fit together properly and thus the birdhouse was not only unusable as is (there are several jagged aluminum pieces which would be dangerous to any birds housing within), but it isn't even possible to fully assemble the thing. I contacted BestNest for a refund, and was told they will not refund items that are no longer in the package. This is utterly unreasonable and untenable - how could I have known the birdhouse was defective if I did not put it together and see for myself that the pieces did not fit properly?

Sat 6/13 I purchased *** GIFT at website. The screen went black when submitted order. Waited & Checked email for order confirm. None found. Tried again to place order & it submitted. Concerned about duplicate I called the co.and No answer. I went to their website & completed customer service form asking if duplicate order is found, please cancel duplicate. On Mon 6/15 I get email apologizing for web issue and states both orders shipped. Wed 6/17 called son about their gift & warned about duplicate box- told him open only 1. 6/18 I called the co. and requested they email me a UPS pickup return for the duplicate. They refused and acknowledged this over sized heavy item will be over $35 + to return to them. I ask them to reimburse me for the return shipping and again they refused. They refused to help me in any way. 6/16 they charged me back to back $149.99 and $149.99. I thought about disputing the duplicate charge with my CC co. but still need the duplicate returned. Please help me.

I placed and order (#***) for a pond filter from BestNest.com. I received the filter to realize that it had the wrong fittings. This was my mistake so I sent the filter back to them for a refund. Upon receiving the product back BestNest contacted me to tell me that (2) replacements hinges that were included with the order were not in the box. I said I must have misplaced them and they tried to contact the manufacturer to see if that was a stand alone item. They claim they cannot buy just the hinges. So I asked them to ship the filter back to me again. I paid the freight. When I received this item back from BestNest, there was an O-ring off the lid missing. This was included when I shipped it for a refund. The worst part is the hinges they claimed were missing were in fact in the box. They should have just refunded my purchase, but instead lied about the part not being in the box. No I am stuck with a $180 filter that cannot be used or sold because they failed to ship the O-ring back to me. They claim they shipped me everything I shipped them. Well my original return to them was complete and they refused to refund my money. This is horrible business. I have emailed them but they refuse to resolve this issue.
