I am currently in recovery from losing my fianc? and having postpartum depression along with the baby fat that goes along with having a newborn. Needless to say I put on a few pounds and have never been so upset about my weight.

As I was scrolling thru Pinterest looking for new workout routines for new moms and meal planning I came across the 28-day wall Pilates challenge and I was intrigued right away. I clicked on the link and I filled out the BetterMe questionnaire and it came up with a workout regimen customized to me and my needs as a new full time mom. I don't have to go out and buy any equipment or yoga mats. All I have to do is take time for myself each day and click on the routine set up for me in the comfort of my own home. Along with eating healthy and the reminders sent to my phone to log in my meals and water intake, BetterMe also recommends to take time each night, if I have the chance, to read to keep up with my brain health as well! If I need a little motivation to stay on track they give you the option to pay for a 1-on1 coach to help me with my fitness journey.

BetterMe is exactly what I needed to get my butt off of the couch and onto the floor with their wall Pilates. It's easy and convenient, not to mention there's zero threat and intimidation that goes along with going to the gym.

I am 76 years old and have more important issues to focus on than monitoring this company's behavior. I have reported to paypal, Discover and my bank. I've also unsubscribed, emailed BetterMe to stop the emails of solicits and they continue to flood me with coaches and sales pitches. I got duped upfront by telling me to respond with this number above the line in an effort to get a response. I did that and they started to charge me for something I haven't a clue I purchased. PLEASE REMOVE ME FROM ANY CONTACTS.

I have tried contacting everyone regarding this. No one is replying. I installed Better me app to try out and subscribed for a small subscription. After authorizing the payment i got few more confusing questions and then all of a sudden i got an alert from my bank saying a big amount got deducted. To see they have subscribed me to a coach. immediately i unsubscribed and requested for a refund. Then i got a mail saying i should unsure from everything in order to process. So i did. And mailed them so many times.

i signed up to this app from an advert off Instagram.

Paid for the trial period but when i came to use the app I encountered a glitch where it said it did not recognise my account.

I contacted support they said they couldn't find my account on the email address I was using. When I replied they did not answer. This happened twice.

I then got busy with work and forgot to follow up. Now a new charge has gone off my card for $50. i've contacted support again and there is no answer.

it's clearly a scam

BetterMe is ABSOLUTELY disgusting! They scam people! After cancelation of the auto-payment process/subscription, they continue to charge and refuses to give a refund. When you message them, they give nonsense responses blaming users, when their system is the problem.

We started the trial period on October 2nd. On October 28th we were charged full cost. However, when we canceled on November 11th, they charge us again on November 25th.

Dealing with their customer service is horrible and they're refusing to refund the payment.

They have not replied to my support ticket in a week. I am adamant that I cancelled my "auto-renew" subscription but apparently it looks like it continued. They have taken over £60 from my card and will not respond to multiple support tickets raised. I am unsure of the next step as they seem to be one of those companies that just hide behind an inbox and have no actual way to speak to a human over the phone (to resolve it in less than a minute)

I have on numerous occasions cancelled my program with this company,on the 7th of October 2023, the same day that I,by accident paid 2 amounts, verified by my bank, paid money to the wrong company.

I have send numerous emails to them, explaining my mistake and they just don't care.

It's the one excuse after another without any solutions or refund,for which I am entitled to.

I signed up for a free trial of a BetterMe app and canceled before the trial date. I received a confirmation email stating my account and subscription had been canceled. My debit card has since been charged 4 months in a row and every time I have emailed the company and been told the subscription is no longer active. Each month, I’ve had to jump through hoops to get the unauthorized charges refunded. This company should be shut down.

Earlier this year I wanted to give this app a shot after seeing it for months pop up in my feed a on social media. So I downloaded the app and made and account set up with Apple. A few days later I got charged which I figured was just the end of the trial. But I remembered that I downloaded because there was a special going on (on instagram) one year for $29.99. I thought that was great considering it’s normally $53 every 3 months. Well, 3 months later I got charged the $53. I emailed them and they told me I had two accounts to uninstall and reinstall the app and it should be fixed. I didn’t worry about it until 3 months after that I got the same charge.. this has been going on for almost a year. I have cancelled it on my Apple end but even that states I don’t own anything until Jan 2024. I have emailed asking for refunds and for my account(s) to be cancelled with zero response at all. I have even called my bank to report the payments as fraud. My next course of action is going to be the BBB and then legal recourse. BetterMe has taken a little over $150 of my funds that was not agreed upon and refuses to even acknowledge any of my emails about my concerns. I never pay for stuff like this and this is why. It will NOT ever happen again!

I bought the subscription of BetterMe Pilates app in Feb 2023 as follows. My cancellation was made in late March, so I was told that it should be cancelled in May. However, AUD49.99 is still charged this month again.

I deleted the app from my phone as soon as I made the cancellation so that the system could see that I never used it again after that.

Please stop charging asap. I will send a dispute to AMEX for this month's charge if the company is not going to amend and erase it.

As several of you are reporting I also signed up to the BetterMe program thinking it was a months trial at a discounted rated and ended up with it automatically renewing and not realising and I didn't use it even once.

As soon as I signed up I tried to download the App but couldn't due to a phone issue, following which I tried to find how to cancel the subscription to get a refund and could figure it out so basically just gave up and though, hey, it was cheap for one month I can live with losing that money.

Anyhow, 2 month renewal later I realise that I am being charged monthly.

I contacted them via [protected]@betterme.world. I very politely requested that they cancel my subscription and provide me with a full refund, and explained the situation. They responded with an automated looking message within an hour stating that I had exceeded the refund period etc and that was it. I responded straight away with the following:

"Thank you for your fast response.

The process to cancel this subscription (although confirmed as completed now) is unnecessarily complicated. Plus there is no notification prior to the automatic renewal or payment is taken. The whole thing feels very much like a scam. If you are not prepared to issue me with a full refund I will be raising this as a fraudulent transaction with my bank and also be taking other legal advice.

I await your response."

Again they responded within an hour GRANTING ME A FULL REFUND which should be with me in 5 - 10 days.

Yes in august I signed up for 7 day trial. I cancelled with in time frame, then this month I got charged again. Reached out to your customer support, ice 25 times with all my information, such as my email: [protected]@yahoo.com - how you charged me thru PayPal and sent copies of invoice that you people charge me! I got charged $43.88 from this company today, and they advised they will not be refunding me as they're saying my account is still active which it is not. They told me the steps to take in order to cancel the subscription is by putting my email address into the account section on their site which I could not do because it says it does not recognize my email, because clearly it is not an active account.

All I want is for this account to be closed on their end and to be refunded this amount back into my account.

This was an accidental purchase on Tuesday, 9/26/23. I’ve tried to contact them twice asking for a refund. I inquired about this exactly 6 mins after it was accidental purchase. I got an automated email with this ID 6549303 and they stated they would do their best to get back with me. In my opinion they are a scam because once you pay you can’t get pass anything without them trying and to make you purchase other programs, etc.

I approached your customer support on the 22.8.23 as I saw you had charged me twice for Pilates and also I wanted to make sure that I had canceled all subscriptions. I sent 4 reminders on this and only on the 12.9.23 did I get a reply - but only a partial reply where support stated "we can confirm that it has already been canceled. Moving forward, there will not be any renewal fees associated with it." but did not respond at all regarding the double charge. The same date I answered your support asking what about the double charge, but no response has been made - in addition on the 18.9.23 I saw that I had been charged again for a subscription that was cancelled and confirmed by support that it was cancelled and sent support an email regarding this and regarding the previous double payment that was made in August but have still not received any response!
