Ridiculous amount of money for very little service - extortinate price increases at 10% per annum for no extra service and inflation barely even 3 % rip off do not take them up
Do not use BiP Solutions under any circumstances. They lure you in with a free trial and then automatically renew the service annually without telling you or giving you the option to cancel. We canceled the instant they sent us the invoice for renewal but according to their terms and conditions, which a junior in the office had accepted by default by email, we were too late! and they are demanding payment for the full service to cancel the contract! Totally unethical if just barely on the right side of legal, their customer service ethos is to screw as much out of you as possible and to harass and threaten you over payment for a service that you do not want. In addition to all this their service is rubbish - we never got any business at all from using them or even a single good opportunity.

A Sales man from BIP SOLUTIONS called my office and spoke about their free trial on tracker and tenders. i said i was not interested but he said it was free and at the end of the free trial it would be cancelled. free trial was from 18/3/2010 to 18/04/2010. I never used the service at all except when he called me to introduce how to use the service. i was away in april and i got my colleague at work to fax a cancellation of the offer to BIP on [protected], Also as soon as i returned i notice they were still sending email alerts, on the 24th of may 2010 and 1st of june 2010, i sent an email to cancel there services, i also left messages on Kenny Ralston personal and direct message box cancelling the service, .
We received a call in November 2011 stating i had an outstanding invoice with BIP Solutions. i called and spoke to Isabelle Whiteford whom i told we sent a fax to cancel on the 19/4/2010 and we have a copy of the fax, we resent and we heard nothing further.
i received a a legal notice from Darcey Quigley & Co. 14A Clydesdale Street, Hamilton, ML3 0DP
asking for payment of "Debt Amount: £1, 324.23 (Inc £172.73 Late Payment of Commercial Debts [Interest])" - i thought it must be a mistake i responded that we have no paid for legal relationship they then intimiated me that they never received my notification to cancel and as such i now owe them this amount.
I sent the lawyer email with copies of the fax dated 19th april 2010 and copies of the email and they say well it was outside the required time and now they wan to file an Liquidation Petition under Section 123 of the Insolvency Act 1986 against the company i work for.
what can i do. i never used the service, i requested it be cancelled. HELP PLEASE SOMEBODY, MY ORGANISATION IS A SMALL FIRM WE CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY FOR A SERVICE WE HAVE NOT USED OR TO BE MADE INSOLVENT. HELP

I have just managed to get BIP to stop chasing me after nearly a year of sending bits back and forth. You must rememebr that they read all these forums so dont be too specific about who you are (i.e figures, dates). I have managed to get out of it by proving that i have now money. I wont tell you how but you can imagine. Thess people are an absolute disgrace, why a tv program hasnt taken them on i have no idea.
I worked on this principle, even if you take me to court, you may win, but you wont get any money because I dont have any money. In my case I did cancel within the month however, after having asked for an extension.
They have apparently changed their terms somewhat but its still same people, tighter terms. Its a shame because I never want to have anything to do with a company from Glasgow again if I can possibly help it.
Good luck!
I am not going to disclose my name... but I worked for BIP as a Credit Controller responsibile for chasing these so called free trials... my heart goes out to you as I know truth about what goes on there. Ron & Simon Burgess should be ashamed of theirselves!
Hi, we to have been caught out, twice by Bip. Basically cancalation was not received in 2009 ? although sent via email on time? We were harassed and bullied into paying a reduced amount of £832. So this year aware of the end date we sent a letter and email before end date, again not received? A few weeks past and we were still receiving the tracker emails. So i contacted them via email over a 2 week period with 5 emails with no response so i phoned them and since then they have been harrassing me for £2050, all the same hassels as before. We were told we would have a account manager who would contact us every other week and notify us of anything that arises with the account, the minute our money was paid we had no contact untill our 2010 invoice arrived and i had made contact with them. When i explained they said this is not part of the service and to pay up or be taken to court. Then the next contact we had they said if we paid there would be a discount and they would asign an account manager for the following year and they would keep us informed when contact is ending, even though this is "not part of their service" !. Any advice would be appreciate and has anyone had any joy against them?

I would like to say that the posting by BIP Solutions Limited is definitely incorrect - they offer you a free trial and even though you say you don't want it they rely on hidden terms and conditions - and I say hidden in that they 'sign you up' over the telephone and the call takes a matter of minutes - to read their terms and conditions properly and understand the implications would take far longer and you should take some legal advice - they then don't acknowledge letters even if sent by recorded delivery, they don't rely to emails and ignore telephone conversations. IF they truly believed in their product they would offer a free trial with a log in that expires in the set time which means you can opt in if you want to continue to use the product. To us the information was useless and offered no more that what is in the public domain for free anyway (despite the assurances of their sales team when pushing their product) and they wanted £1700 too. There are so many people like us with the same story and sorry BIP - but in the UK we live with freedom of speech and no, you can't sue me for repeating my experience of dealing with your company. This company has several alias QSL being one so be very wary of dealing with them.
Everyone who has been scammed old or new must report QSL, BIP to Consumer Direct who will forward to Trading Standards...
The more people that complain, there that will be done and there strength in the issue we will have...

Unfortunately, much of what has been said in this posting is both incorrect and misleading and I would like to take this opportunity to state our position regarding the free trial for our Tracker services.
During the course of the free trial registration process the requirement for the user to give notice in writing is clearly denoted as part of the online registration journey and brought to the user’s attention on several occasions, both verbally and by email. I would ask you and anyone else reading this and who may wish to clarify their subscription to please contact customerservices@bipsolutions.com with their details in order that we provide you with the correct advice regarding any service you may have with us.
I am extremely disappointed to hear from any of our customers who are unhappy with the service they have received from BiP Solutions and we always do our utmost to work with customers in order to resolve any issues should they occur. I would ask anyone reading this and who may wish to clarify their subscription to please contact customerservices@bipsolutions.com with their details in order that we provide you with the correct advice regarding any service you may have with us as this posting is factually incorrect – our e-tendering service is free of charge to all suppliers.
