Bitcoin Investment Trust Charles Ray Smith - unethical business practices

Career Conman Charles Ray Smith, 50, of Elkhart Indiana Sells Fake Cancer Cures, Fraudulent Investment Ponzi Schemes, Bitcoin Investments Fraud, Fraudulently Sells Houses He Doesn't Own, and uses Fraud to Manipulate the Legal System leading to the Wrongful Incarceration of Lesley Marlin Scholl and the suspicious death of Trina R. McCreary. Chicago Investment Group, LLC. Gunman Properties, LLC. SLAPUA Entertainment, LLC.

•••ROGUE INFORMANTS MURDER FOR HIRE PLOTS FOILED

SOUTH BEND, INDIANA - CHARLES RAY SMITH, 50, of Elkhart was recently indicted on a Federal wire fraud charge. Smith had made elaborate plans to have witnesses against him murdered. Smith, a Federal informant, claims to be a professional "hit man" as well as a senior member of the Hell's Angels motorcycle club and a high-ranking member of the Outlaws motorcycle club organization.

CHARLES RAY SMITH is a predatory fraudster whom, according to sources, has recently been targeting senior citizens and churches in Elkhart, Indiana to intimidate and coerce them out of their life savings under the guise of "an investment".

ELKHART IN- Charles Ray Smith, an Elkhart man, has lived a life of luxury including a massive collection of high-end Harley Davidson motorcycles, and exotic and antique sports cars that Jay Leno would envy.
But there is a dark side to his story.

In fact, federal officials recently alleged in court that his primary residence, a North Riverside Drive mansion, was purchased with the illegal proceeds of scams Smith has perpetrated for decades.

The myriad of cons includes a particularly vile hoax in selling fake cancer cures to desperate cancer patients and their families.

Smith was arrested by the FBI after a years-long investigation. He appeared in federal court in South Bend twice this week where, on Tuesday, the facts of the case were laid out by a federal prosecutor.

In multiple recorded and victim-reported conversations, with some excerpts played in court, Smith, in his own words and in graphic chilling detail, laid out a well-calculated plan to murder approximately nine people, including an ex- girlfriend, neighbor and an A-list Hollywood celebrity who he is angry with for allegedly crossing him.

Smith included details of the planned murders of all of the current victims in his pending wire fraud cases. Smith was clearly heard planning his specific alibis and travel plans. He repeatedly noted that the murder plots were already set in motion despite the best efforts of people close to him to talk him out it.

One critical witness against Smith, was Trina R. McCreary. McCreary, turned up dead after allegedly being subjected to Smith's rage upon learning she was assisting the investigators against him. Smith was the last person with her before her body was found. Smith is not charged in this highly suspicious sudden death, though sources report that charges may be forthcoming.

The judge indicated that additional indictments will likely come soon. Smith has boasted to multiple victims that he's been a hit man with over 250 contract killings to his credit.

In a bizarre twist, Smith was also a federal informant witness who, as reported in the Goshen News, coerced Goshen doctor Lesley Marlin Scholl, M.D., into a fabricated murder-for-hire scheme after Scholl threatened to call the authorities to report that Smith had stolen approximately $800, 000 in a land swindle. The fraudulent murder-for-hire charges against Scholl were eventually dropped by prosecutors.
Still, Scholl lost a two-clinic medical practice worth $3 million along with another $800, 000, his wife and his family as he served 17 years in prison for handing a licensed silencer to Smith while Smith wore a wire for the FBI. Both Scholl and Smith had massive legal gun collections.

Before his release on a GPS-tracking house arrest bond, the judge ordered the removal of Smith's massive arsenal of firearms inside of his North Riverside Drive mansion and Beardsley Avenue business. Investigators say the inventory of weapons included Barrett .50-caliber rifles capable of shooting down airliners, street sweeper type shotguns with 100-round clips, multiple assault rifles and handguns.

Smith is now alleged to have committed perjury during his first court appearance by insisting that he's been bed-ridden for the past three years due to a partial foot amputation.
The photos from October 2021 show Smith is able to walk, perform physical labor, and drive one of his many motorcycles around town.

The following day prosecutors made it very clear to the judge that Smith, while under surveillance, was seen traveling to Florida, Tennessee, Ohio and other locations in recent weeks and months.

A steady stream of victims continues to come forward with similar stories. They gave thousands of dollars to Smith for investments that never materialized and for loans that were never repaid. When a victim threatened to go to authorities, Smith, heavily armed with several weapons, would intimidate them by claiming to be a hit man as well as a senior Hell's Angel high ranking member of the Outlaws motorcycle club organization.

This case is far from over as Smith seems to dig his hole deeper with each passing day and more victims come forward. Stay tuned.

Victims of this man are asked to contact the South Bend FBI Field Office.

Desired outcome: Desired Outcome: Convict Charles Ray Smith ! Free Lesley Marlin Scholl ! Restitution for all of Smith’s victims! Prevent additional victims by sharing this complaint widely.

I was scammed by Charles over $100,000. He planned out Bitcoin Investment scam and roped me into it.

But he wouldn't show me my portfolio or something to show for my investment.

After a while i knew i have been scammed and he became inaccessible, He wouldn't return my calls or answer one.

I requested for my money, i told him i don't care about the investment anymore.

He told me crypto is volatile and that's all he told me. So what do you mean i said, but that was what he said before i vanished.

Around July i saw a post on this website that talked about Paige Mccubbin and how she was able to recover victims money from scammers. I contacted her on Telegram.

Search for Paigecubbin on Telegram to contact her.

She was able to recover my money within 10 days. The money recovered was paid to my bank account.

U should contact her to recover your money from Charles.

Bitcoin Investment Trust What's the point of creating similar companies?

You know, I really don't care that Bitcoin Investment Trust is from Grayscale Investments Family - a bunch of funds with different names, but with same or similar goals (even though they are not even detailed).
What stopped Grayscale Investments from providing their exact address and all of their funds' addresses as well? No, not mentioned somewhere the middle of terms & conditions or whatever crap it is, but in a prominent place so everyone could find it without any problem?
What's the point of all of these endless funds sponsored by Grayscale Investments?
It doesn't matter what company they sponsor, all of them look the same and contain/or usually don't contain the same information.
