Deceptive Business Practices: My Experience with Bliss Skincare
So, I was looking for a new skincare product and stumbled upon Bliss (blissworld.com). I decided to give it a try and ordered what I thought was one bottle of their product. The customer service at Bliss is not up to par. I had some issues with the gift cards I received and decided to call the 888 number on the gift card folder. Unfortunately, I was put on hold for about 15 minutes and then got a recording that my call could not be completed. It was frustrating, to say the least. I tried calling again and left a "call back" number. I did get a call back in about 10 minutes, but when I picked up, it was a recording saying to "Press 1 for..." etc. etc. It was like going in circles. I never actually got connected to a live person. So, the 888 number on the Gift Card brochure was essentially useless.
After more than an hour, I decided to call again and went to the "place a new order" section. Eventually, a person answered the phone. Once I got a real person on the phone, she was very helpful. However, the phone system was a cluster and a waste of customers' time. It was a horrendous experience.
I hope Bliss can improve their customer service, especially their phone system. It's frustrating to spend so much time trying to get help. I would recommend Bliss to my friends and family if they improve their customer service.
Blissworld Gift Card Review: Terrible Customer Service and a Waste of Money
So, I was pretty excited when I got a $200 gift card for Blissworld. I went online to place an order and everything seemed to be going smoothly. But then, a few days later, I got an email saying that one of the products I had ordered was out of stock and my entire order was cancelled. I was pretty frustrated with this, so I called customer service to see if I could get a refund for the gift card.
The customer service rep I spoke to was nice enough and said that I could get a refund, but I would need to fill out a W9 form and a Bliss New Vendor form. I did this and submitted them to the rep, but then I didn't hear anything back from Bliss for over a week. I called the rep several times and left messages, but no one ever got back to me.
Finally, after two weeks, I was able to get in touch with the rep again. She told me that the forms had been submitted to corporate, but she didn't know how long it would take for them to approve my refund. I was pretty disappointed with this response, but I didn't want to deal with Blissworld anymore, so I agreed to just use the gift card.
But when I tried to use it, the card was declined. I couldn't believe it! After all the trouble I had gone through, I couldn't even use the gift card. Needless to say, I won't be shopping at Blissworld again. Their customer service is terrible and their gift cards are a waste of money.
Bliss Products are Great, But Ordering Online is a Nightmare!
I gotta say, I'm a huge fan of Bliss products. They always leave my skin feeling so soft and refreshed. But let me tell you, ordering from their website is a real pain in the butt! They've got this promotion going on where you can buy two items and get one free, which is a pretty sweet deal. So I picked out three things I wanted and went to check out. I was stoked to see that the promotion had applied and I was getting all three items for the price of two. But then, after I entered my credit card info and got the order confirmation, I noticed that it said I had only ordered two items! What the heck, man?
I tried emailing customer service to see if they could fix it, but I never got a response. So I went back to the website and tried to find a phone number to call. Let me tell you, that was a real challenge. It was buried deep in the website and took me forever to find. When I finally got through to someone, they told me that orders couldn't be modified once they were placed and that I must have forgotten to add the third item to my cart. Um, no. I definitely added it. Your website screwed up, lady!
Anyway, they told me that I could either wait five weeks for a refund and then place a new order, or I could wait for the claim to be escalated and maybe hear back from someone next week. By that point, the promotion would be over and I wouldn't get the free item that I had been counting on. It's so frustrating! I only ordered online because of the promotion. If I had known it was going to be this much of a hassle, I would have just gone to Kohls or Target.
So yeah, I would definitely recommend Bliss products, but I would NOT recommend buying them online. Their customer service is seriously lacking.

They couldn't give me a tracking number because UPS was sending the package through USPS. I was told to wait until I received a tracking number from USPS.
Unfortunately, I never received an email with a tracking number. When I checked the Blissworld website, I noticed that there was a different order number from my original order. This left me feeling even more confused. I called Blissworld again and was told that they didn't have the sandals I had ordered. They claimed that the sandals had been sent back to the warehouse. I was shocked and confused. How could something be sent back from the warehouse to the warehouse? It made no sense.
To make matters worse, Blissworld never let me know that my order was not going to be shipped. They had already told me that my order had been shipped and even gave me a tracking number. I had no idea when or if they were going to let me know that my order was not going to be fulfilled. I spoke with a representative and requested a refund for the charge on my credit card. The representative assured me that the refund was being processed. However, when I checked my account, the refund had not been credited back to my account.
Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience with Blissworld. I would not recommend doing business with this company. Their customer service was confusing and unhelpful. I hope that they can improve their processes and communication in the future.
Mixed feelings about Bliss skincare: website issues and non-vegan samples
I gotta say, I really like Bliss's stuff. But if you're a vegan, you might wanna stay away from their website. I ordered some things and they give you samples based on how much you order. Well, one of the samples was made from animals. I sent them an email asking them not to include it, but they said they couldn't control the samples and that they were in limited quantity. I mean, if they can't control their own samples, who can? I just didn't want the animal product, but they acted like I was asking for something else.
Their website also messed up after I ordered and I couldn't click on anything. I told them about it, but they just told me to check my spam folder. Like, what? The whole page was broken, I couldn't even create an account.
It's kinda frustrating that Bliss doesn't seem to have control over their own website, accounts, or products. Like, who did I even order from? What website was I on?
Overall, I'm feeling pretty put off by the whole experience. But seriously, what's with all the reviews about shoes and stuff? This is a skincare company, they don't sell clothes!
This company does not even deserve a one star. Bought item from Wayfair. Paid the install fee. Wayfair uses Angie/Handy for install in my area. Many dates scheduled for install. Night before the scheduled install Angie would cancel as no one available to do the install. They eventually cancelled the install booking and said they would refund the amount paid for the install within 3-5 business days. Month and a half later still no refund. I had to pay someone else to install the gazebo. I have called and emailed them many times and all they say is.the panel will have to make a decision regarding a refund. I have called Wayfair. They are of no assistance whatsoever.

DO NOT USE ANGI (HomeAdvisor). I booked a lawn mowing service through Angi for 4/26/23. The "professional" (2 men with a push mower) showed up late, cut only 10% to 15% of the lawn, then left saying "We'll try and come back tomorrow." I then spent over an hour on the Angi chat service explaining the situation. I was charged the full price plus the membership fee. They rescheduled a second professional, supposedly for free, for 4/28/23. They were a no show. I got charged full price again. I called (20 minutes) to cancel the service all together, but they had already schedule a third professional and said I'd have to pay a cancellation fee, so I kept the service. The lawn finally got mowed on 4/29/23. On 5/1/23, I cancelled the contract using the Angi app. This morning, 5/6/23, I received a text that a professional would be coming tomorrow. The app was no longer showing I had a service contract so I called (10 minutes) and was able to finally cancel, but was charged the $25 cancellation fee because it was less than 24-hours. They then gave me a separate number to call to contest 3 of the 4 charges to my credit card. After being on hold for 5 minutes, I chose the option to save my place in line and get a call back. I got a call back in less than a minute, but it only rang once and hung up. I called back again and this time stayed on the line for 12 minutes. In the end I was able to get refunded 2 of the charges but had to pay the $25 cancellation charge and the $30 membership fee. This is the worst service I've ever been involved with. A $55 *** to always check a business out before using.

Weeks later, UPS contacted Bliss to get my house number, but Bliss did not inform me of the situation or try to contact me to get the missing information. So, let me tell you what happened. I purchased a jacket online from Bliss because the prices were lower than other retailers. But when I received the jacket, I didn't like it. So, I returned it for a refund on December 5, 2013. And get this, I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND AS OF DECEMBER 19, 2013! Can you believe it? I mean, it's been two weeks and I still haven't received my money back.
I tried to contact Bliss the week of December 9th, but I experienced very long hold times and my calls were even disconnected before I could speak to an agent. Finally, when I did get through to an agent, I gave them the tracking number of my return and they said they would process a refund after confirming that the warehouse had received my item. According to the tracking information, the warehouse had received my item. But guess what? No refund was posted to my credit card as promised.
I tried several days after that to reach someone at Bliss, but I was on hold again for long periods of time. And when I finally got someone to speak to, it was an "overflow" center that was answering the calls and taking messages. I mean, seriously? Is this how you treat your customers? I get it, it's the Holiday Season, but that's no excuse for not returning phone calls.
Throughout all of this, I left a review about the jacket on Bliss's website. And guess what? Someone from Bliss emailed me about how sorry they were that I didn't like the jacket. In desperation, I told this person (via email) about my futile attempts to get my money back. She told me she would look into it and process a refund for me. But guess what? The refund still hasn't credited to my credit card.
So, here I sit, still waiting for my refund. And let me tell you, I am warning other consumers out there. Don't waste your time with Bliss. They don't even answer their own phones and they don't return customer's calls. It's just not worth it. I for one will be spending my hard-earned money elsewhere.

I've had a couple of issues with Bliss in the past 6 months and I must say, I'm not impressed with their customer service. In June, I placed an order that I later decided to cancel. I was told that the order was cancelled, but to my surprise, my card was charged and I received an email indicating that my order had shipped. I was not happy about this and I had to mail it back for a refund which took them 2.5 weeks to process. This was not my bank's fault, it was on them.
Then, on 11/20, I placed an order for a gift card. I never received shipment confirmation by 11/25, so I called to inquire about it. I was told that it takes them 5-7 business days to process an order, which I found to be quite unusual. Shipping transit time is usually 5-7 business days, not processing time. When I called back on Friday 11/27, I was told that the order had shipped on 11/23, but they didn't have the tracking number yet because they ship via UPS Innovation Mail Services. This was unheard of! Many other retailers use this service and the tracking number usually comes immediately.
When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that she had left for the day and that I would receive a call back on Monday. However, she called back on Sunday to inform me that the gift card hadn't shipped and that they were supposed to send a new gift card out to me. Unfortunately, that never happened. On Tuesday, I was told that a gift card for $125 would be overnighted to me and that I would receive tracking information. However, by Wednesday, I still hadn't received tracking or the gift card.
I called again and the customer service manager I was working with wasn't available, so I was going around in circles with a regular representative. Finally, I demanded to speak with a manager and someone got on the phone to let me know that the wrong gift card for $125 was issued (Remede instead of Bliss) and that they now needed to cancel that order and issue a new gift card for Bliss. When I said that the gift card was supposed to be for $125, the new manager I was working with didn't believe me and there were no notes in the system. He had to confirm it with the person from the previous day.
Now, I'm supposed to get a call tomorrow and the gift card by Friday. We'll see how that turns out, but I can assure you that I will never be ordering from the Bliss website ever again. Their customer service is essentially non-existent and no one seems to know what they are talking about there. Every time I called, I got a different answer.
UPDATE: I finally had to call the corporate office and they were very helpful. They couldn't believe what I had gone through and apologized for the inconvenience. The person I spoke with said that they should have let me pick up the gift card at the spa due to the circumstances. Additionally, she called her Gift Card manager who confirmed that what one customer service manager told me was a Remede GC was in fact a Bliss GC. All is okay now and hopefully, the gift card is usable!

Bliss is not a good company to order from. They will sign you up for reoccurring charges on products that you did not order and then refuse to refund the money. I have spent hours on the phone and with customer service, but half the time they disconnect the call. Even after all that, I only ended up with a partial refund. It's a waste of time and money to order from them. If you do, don't bother returning the product or asking for your money back. Just report the charge as fraud immediately and close your card.

Disappointing Experience with Blissworld.com: Glitchy Website and Terrible Customer Service
So, I was trying to buy some stuff from Blissworld.com using a gift certificate. But, the purchase didn't go through. I was like, what the heck? My gift card was in my cart and it said I had $200, but when I tried to complete the purchase, it was like, "error, error, error." So, I called customer service and let me tell you, she was clueless. She had no idea what was going on. She said she couldn't complete the purchase and that the "WEBSITE" would release my money in 24 hours. That was like 10 days ago and I still haven't gotten my money or been able to purchase my item.
I mean, seriously, what kind of customer service is that? They're useless and not competent. And where is their technical support? If they can't fix it, they should just send me my $200 and I'll go to another company who actually has their stuff together.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with Blissworld.com. Their website is glitchy and their customer service is terrible. I wouldn't recommend shopping here unless you want to waste your time and money. Yaks!
