I am a professional photographer and love my website. I found out that my website had been parked, www.duaneheaton.com. I then contacted bludomain regarding it. I was informed that I had failed to pay the $15.00 domain name fee. I sent the money via paypal.
I then received an email saying stating that my domain was delinquent for 19 days and I would have to pay $85.00 more in order to have my domain and website back up and running. I was also told that I my site was parked after 18 days! So for 1 day I was going to be charged $85.00. The issue can about because the invoices that they claim they sent went to a wrong email address. I tested the email they claimed to have on file, the result was a bounced email! So their customer service department could not find me from going to my website and clicking on the contact page and this would have ended, but they did not. After 4 more emails, I agreed to the $85.00.
After I submitted the amount via paypal, I received the following email:
Duane — I am told this morning your domain is past 76 day due and the domain went back into the public pool and someone else had it on back-order.
Are you sure that is not you. If not then your domain has been secured by someone else.
Sincerely,
Aundrea
I will refund your $85.00

So now my domain name is owned by a japanese company that has nothing to do with me or duane heaton photography.
My business will be crushed by this company and their lack of the simplest thought processes.

Been with Bludomain for ten years, googled my website only to see that a scammer had the domain name, and a bogus company came up. I paid all the fees on time, yet they ruined me. Terrible customer service. Called & called & called, and they never call back, they just sent a new bill for $100 that was already paid back in Nov. and good for a year and that was only 3 months ago. (Confirmed through Paypal customer support money went through).
Going to see if I can sue them and if anyone out there would like to join me in a class action lawsuit, please let me know.

I am experiencing the same thing right now. I payed $100 this past October, and 3 days ago went to my website only to see it's not there anymore.
I know they used to have livechat, but i can't find it on the website any more. I indicated I have an Urgent emergency issue 3 days ago, but still got no reply. :( That is very upsetting! ~ annasweddings@gmail.com

I'm also experiencing the same thing. I paid for hosting and domain renewal in June. My domain doesn't renew until September 16th. My website has been down since the 16th and BluDomain will not respond to my support tickets, emails, or phone calls. (GoDaddy, the site they register domains through gave me their contact number-a cell phone.) I also found out from GoDaddy that I cannot simply purchase a new template from another company and pay a new host and domain fee because instead of BluDomain registering MY DOMAIN NAME under my name, they registered it under their own name. So BluDomain owns my domain name and it has not been renewed. They have literally taken my entire business platform hostage and refuse to respond to emails, support tickets, or phone calls. I'm all in on a class action suit.

Ive experienced ongoing issues with the company for 7-8 years and experienced uncountable lost revenue as a result of their terrible business practices. Would love to help out if I can in shutting this business down to prevent them from causing others further harm.

After being with bludomain for some 16 years they screwed me. They took my domain and had to get a new doamain and webstie These guys are great. https://www.photobiz.com/

Had same thing happen to me. Domain was stolen and not renewed by blu. Now I own it but omg, they then got rid of my site even though I paid for it and paid for hosting etc. CONTACT ME to join the suit. dineaphoto@gmail.com

Maybe it’s time for a class action lawsuit! From their reviews, MANY business owners are having similar issues. My site is currently down and all I can get from them is that the domain expired. I responded and told them that I had NEVER received an invoice and if they would send me one I would pay it, but no response. I’ve been having these issues each year for the last 4-5 years. MANY businesses are losing money because of their negligence.

The same thing happened to me. I've been with them since 2008 and now POOF ALL of my work and site are gone and my domain is now owned by some Japanese stranger that wants $4000 for it! Let's PLEASE band together on this and take down these people!

After some Internet research, I discovered that Aundrea Hasslebach, has started a new business. More about this in a minute.

I've had a beautiful site with them for almost 10 years; over the past few weeks, I am unable to get messages as my login no longer works! My site is still up, but what's the point if inquiries remain unanswered! I can't access my 'edit' URL so that I can make changes to 'Contact Us'.

Her 'new business' is called SOCIA TAP. I called the phone number and got an announcement that she prefers 'texts' over phone. I sent her a text 2 days ago asking for the status of Bludomain, and the issues I'm having. Surprise! NO RESPONSE. Fortunately, we own our domain with GoDaddy. Unfortunately, Bludomain has no system for billing for hosting. They haven't sent me an invoice for 3 YEARS! I sent in a ticket regarding this issue. How can you run a business if you don't send invoices? I see that many of you have had the same experience.

I'm having a new site created, but it won't be up for a few weeks. So frustrated by being SCAMMED.

Our site is CRITICAL to our success. If you want to flood her with phone, calls, texts and emails, maybe she will do the right thing, but I don't believe she has any ethics. Here's her phone number: [protected]. She's also on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

would give a zero if possible. I have hosted with BluDomain for a few years. Each year they "forget" to invoice for the domain name, which takes the renewal from $75 to $100. This year, it happened again, but there's more money on the line. I had just paid for a new template and the upload service. I've repeatedly emailed and submitted support tickets, but my site remains down. This has been going on since mid-January. I've reached out to the owner and received no response. One employee emailed me and said I needed to contact GoDaddy, but after two hours on the phone with GoDaddy, they confirmed that BluDomain holds my domain name. Even though I have paid my domain and late fees, BluDomain has not renewed my domain name. BluDomain has not responded about getting my domain name back since I paid $120 for them to retrieve it. They do not have a contact number to call, so customers are forced to email only.

I feel like this review is going to be VERY redundant, as most of the other reviews express my sentiments almost to a T.

BluDomain is downright scaly. I cannot fathom how they are still in business. Don't let their beautiful website fool you. Once you are a customer they couldn't care less about you! They WILL NOT respond to messages. You cannot call them. You cannot email them. You need to send your inquiries through their website, and then they proceed to ignore you.

Every. Single. Year they would shut my site down for non-payment...but they don't send invoices? How in the world is a customer supposed to pay for a service if they don't know where to send the payment or the amount due. I would message asking for an invoice (as SO MANY other reviewers have had to do!) and when they finally did respond the message back was insanely condescending stating that it must be my email provider who isn't delivering the messages. I checked my inbox and spam folders multiple times, there were no invoices.

Today I found out that my domain was SOLD and to get it back I will have to pay THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! I am a small business and I rely heavily on my website for clients. BluDomain has basically shut me down. My inquiries have slowed to almost nothing. My website has been down since the beginning of June and it is now the middle of August. I have been BEGGING them since June to help me and they just absolutely won't.

The last message that I got from them simply stated "We don't have your domain name anymore"... One line. That was LITERALLY all they wrote. Of course you don't. You sold it!

BUYER BEWARE. I have done so much research in the past couple of months and there are SO MANY GOOD companies to host with... don't make the same mistake that I, and so many others, have made. Stay FAR FAR away from BluDomain and Aundrea Hasselbach, the registered owner. What a complete joke!

I have taken this issue to the BBB and Aundrea Hasselbach hasn't responded. She won't. Most of the BBB reviews have gone unresolved. The next step will be legal action.

May 2022 I have had my email and web site with BluDomain since 2009. I suddenly was unable to receive or send emails, and my web site that I spent years creating was gone on, or around May 2nd. I have sent several emails to customer service from my personal email referencing my BluDomain account with no response whatsoever. It appears after reading other recent reviews that BluDomain is eliminating, without justification, many long time BluDomain customers. That is an unforgivable travesty. I would not recommend BluDomain to even my worst enemy! With regard to the five star rating, I doubt BluDomain would even have a one star rating if there were a zero star rating available.
