Blue Tax Irs help on back taxes

We tried blue tax to help with our taxes. They took $1700.00 out of my account after my paperwork shows $1200.00 was to be taken out and at the END of help they would take out remaining amount to total $3200.00. I always sent what was needed. Bank statements were needed all the time and I always got pushed to a different person again and again, only to start process all over for 4 years. I was called by the rudest of people demanding more and more money and more paperwork to only tell me that they were almost finished time and time again. I refused to send anymore money and requested a refund which they denied. So I only lost $1700.00 but I have gone to my local CPA and she has done wonders for us and we also got a refund! Blue tax... I win! You are a scam!'

Blue Tax Harassment and Badgering from Todd Lewis

Blue tax offers a Workbook for $49.95 as a do it yourself tax relief plan. I ordered the workbook and received NO communication from Blue Tax other than my paypal receipt showing I had purchased it. I waited 2 weeks and did not receive the book. I reported the issue to Paypal, requested a refund or confirmation of shipping and got an email from Todd Lewis (owner of bluetax) with an apology and "here's your e-book". I escalated my issue to a claim with Paypal and got a rude email from Todd who said he emailed me the book 3 days earlier. Sorry, Todd, I still don't have the book!

I was also working with 2 other reps., John and then David, who quoted $4000 for tax services. Wondering if the tax preparation was equally as dubious as the mysterious Workbook /Ebook I never received, I told them that I thought Todd was a jerk and I had decided not to use their services.

Todd Lewis got a copy of the email I sent to John and David and called me THREE TIMES in less than 10 minutes to agrue, yell and badger me for expressing my opinion of him. I told him not to call me again on the 2nd phone call or I would report the harassment. He called a third time to continue his harassment, so here I am. They still have not refunded my $49.95 for the Workbook that isn't, and I don't feel comfortable paying them $4K to do my taxes. Shame on you Todd Lewis, bad Business all the way around.

Blue Tax False representation

I requested Blue Tax to represent me in dealing with the IRS. I sent them $ 3, 000 and they were able to stop the garnishments but well after they promised. After the garnishments stopped they ignored all my contacts for over a month. I called several times to talk to them and all I received was the constant changes in my case manager. Changed every time just so they could avoid me. After months of trying to get them to submit information to the IRS they dropped the ball on everything. They never filed any of my information on back taxes. At one point they told me the guy that was taking charge of my account was just a secretary and not an attorney. I couldn't believe it. Different departments called me and said I wasn't cooperating with them and of course I had every attempt I made recorded and they said they would get back to me. Well they obviously dropped the ball on everything because they ended up sending me a letter saying they were done representing me. I have all the info against them and will not stop until I am reimbursed one way or another!

Blue tax's owner, David "justin" urbas has personally had liens filed on him by the state and IRS back in 04, AND he was ordered to pay a 1.3million restitution judgement in 06.

HIs company, blue tax/blue tax consulting corp has CA EDD employment tax liens for all quarters of 2012/2013. Can't even pay his own taxes, probably shouldn't handle other peoples tax problems

he is starting to operate the company under his wife's name, as well: http://www.corporationwiki.com/California/Los-Angeles/angelica-urbas/107770662.aspx

all information in this email is from public records search: http://losangeles.netronline.com/la-index.php search for justin urbas and blue tax and select option "search by grantor"

These resources may help taxpayers faced with an unscrupulous "tax relief" company :

1) Contact the IRS Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) and file a complaint. They oversee, and can sanction, Attorneys, CPAs, Enrolled Agents, Registered Tax Return Preparers (RTRP) and others: http://1.usa.gov/18tXSWN

2) Use IRS Form 14157 to file a written complaint against your tax return preparer: http://1.usa.gov/Qm1rSC

In all cases, always search the Web in the name of the person AND company you're thinking about hiring. Websites (such as this one) provide invaluable feedback to taxpayers and expose those organizations that don't have their client's best interest in mind. Good luck.

Is Blue Tax Legit?

Blue Tax earns a trustworthiness rating of 58%

Think twice and be always careful when sharing sensitive information.

Our conclusion: ComplaintsBoard’s research finds Blue Tax trustworthy, but it’s still important to be cautious. If you are considering dealing with Blue Tax, ensure you understand the risks involved before deciding.

By resolving 71% of 7 negative reviews, Blue Tax is demonstrating its dedication to customer satisfaction and effectively addressing customer issues. While there may still be some practical problems that need to be addressed, such as long wait times or unhelpful responses.

Bluetax.com has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.

Bluetax.com has been deemed safe to visit, as it is protected by a cloud-based cybersecurity solution that uses the Domain Name System (DNS) to help protect networks from online threats.

Bluetax.com you are considering visiting, which is associated with Blue Tax, is very old. Longevity often suggests that a website has consistently provided valuable content, products, or services over the years and has maintained a stable user base and a sustained online presence. This could be an indication of a very positive reputation.

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:

  • You should not trust a website that appears to be parked, especially if you have already paid money to the website. A parked website may be a sign that the website owner is no longer actively maintaining or developing the site, and there is a risk that the site could be a scam.
  • Website's registrar is popular among scammers, it means that a significant number of scammers have used that registrar to register domain names for their fraudulent websites. This can indicate that the registrar has lax verification processes, making it easier for scammers to register domains without providing accurate information.
  • Blue Tax protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
  • We conducted a search on social media and found several negative reviews related to Blue Tax. These reviews may indicate issues with the company's products, services, or customer support. It is important to thoroughly research the company and its offerings before making any purchases to avoid any potential risks.

Blue Tax fraudulent and lack of professionalism

BEWARE of this company! They take peoples money claiming to help them in their tax situation but never do any work. They have no attorneys on staff and lie to their clients claiming they do, They took over $11 from us to help our tax situation yet never filed a return nor did anything with our case other than claim that we owed them yet more money. They have written several rude and untrue comments about me and my husband and our business claiming we owe over $250 in back taxes which is untrue and a flat out lie. I have been in business for over 10 years and never had one complaint about the way we do business or any work ethics. I guess they are trying to make themselves feel better by lying but these lies will not be tolerated. Please be aware and do not let these scammers take your money from you or any loved ones!

Don't fall prey to the new company brought to you by the wonderful Todd Lewis and Justin Urbas [Of the quickly declining Blue Tax scam]

You'll notice the similar childish animated poorly designed website FireFinancial.com that immediately reminds you of bluetax.com

They're not even trying to hide the relation, if you look at public WHOIS records of firefinancial, it's registered to Blue Tax VP Todd Lewis, and blue tax mailing address:

Registry Registrant ID:
Registrant Name: Todd Lewis
Registrant Organization:
Registrant Street: 8236 Remmet Ave.
Registrant City: Canoga Park
Registrant State/Province: California
Registrant Postal Code: 91304
Registrant Country: United States
Registrant Phone: [protected]

In case you didn't know, Todd Lewis is the malicious, degrading, demeaning vp of Blue Tax that will tell you that you are going to hell, or must prey on little animals.

He'll promise you the world on the phone, or if he does agree to a refund check, it will bounce, because Blue Tax doesn't have any new money. That's why their starting "Fire Financial" out of the same office. You'll see the domain is only 2 months old, so any claims of 'prior customers' or 'prior performance' are complete FRAUD.

If you want a little more backgrond on the owner of blue tax, that would be Justin & angelica Urbas, aka David Justin Urbas.

Look him up on http://losangeles.netronline.com/la-index.php, you'll see he has a nice track record of starting a company, defrauding the CA EDD [ca employment tax], and the IRS. It leaves his employees high and dry when they file their tax returns or file for unemployment, because according to the state, justin never sends any records to them.

Youll see he has tax liens against him by the state, by the IRS, under both Blue Tax, and XTS global, his prior companies.

He's now had to resort to using his poor wife's name [angelica urbas] to try to escape the public's eye. His wife is now listed as the president of blue tax consulting corp [http://www.corporationwiki.com/California/Los-Angeles/angelica-urbas/107770662.aspx ]

Think twice before putitng your financial and family's future in the hands of the Lewis and Urbas family who scam for a living, with no remorse.

I hired Blue tax THREE years ago and still NOTHING done by them, except steal my Money and close my case, (see below) I asked them to put me on paperwork and they promised by a certain date, and failed. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they sent me false paperwork that they really hadnt sent to the IRS, . Spoke with the IRS agent today, and performed Blue taxes Obligation myself.
. Although Blue Tax claims that they put me on the paperwork as requested on 7/30/12 the IRS advised that they did NOT submit this paperwork, period., and I completed this task via telephone with them personally (another job Blue Tax was required to perform on my account). Blue Tax, again, has lied about taking care of the job to which they said that they will do, in order to "TRICK" me to remove my complaint with the BBB In the meantime my phone is being blown up by TL, VP of Blue Tax, demanding and threatening me to remove my complaint against the company with the BBB.
I knew he lied about filing with the IRS so I asked him this:
As promised from you, I want the IRS agents name and ID number to which confirmed that I am PLACED on a Hardship. You promised via telephone to produce this information . As you said it would be included with the Hardship document sent to me via email, but again, it was not. We will talk after I obtain this information, to which you promised.

The following is his response, (this kind of mentality is what you constantly deal with regarding this egregious company:)
TL VP of Blue tax responded by saying:
That there was no such promise. He expressed that my fabrication of events and deceit continue to cloud my judgement of events and time lines. He expressed that I lied to us about being married and about the piece of property He expressed Blue Tax will no longer be held hostage to lies, bi polar personality, and verbal assaults laced with blasphemy and profanity. He said I may want to seek a small animal or child to whom may be defenseless against your attacks to pick on, but Blue Tax will no longer take your abuse. Then he closed my case and stated No refund will be issued.
He closed by stating to me that he knows that I mentioned that you don't believe in god, ( false) but as a god fearing company, we pray for your soul. It may be time to seek him and turn your life around

To TL VP of Blue Tax
I have asked your company not to have you contact me due to your unprofessionalism. You have not called me four times. You have attempted to bombard my phone with your calls, which are only continual rantings, along with personal jabs, to which I find harassing. Currently, you do not have the opportunity to conduct yourself in this manner on my voicemail.as I have had it turned off, to alleviate myself from your harassment. ... but now, after speaking with the IRS, I see there is attempted deception put into play concerning my account, in addition all of the above concerning your psyche.
My husband has nothing to do with this, and I see you searched out his cell phone number and contacted him and also attempted to contact him on two occasions. I did not sign a statement with your company stating that you could contact or involve him in my tax matter. We were not married at the (LONG) time ago that I employed your company, although you insist that I was.
You, personally, are not to contact me or any person in relation to me via telephone. ...
I contacted the IRS, the paperwork that you sent me is a complete lie.. I personally took care of the job with The IRS to which you said was put IN PLACE on the 30th of July, by your company, which in reality... was not. I want a full refund from your company for noncompliance to the services to which you advertise, which to date have remained services not rendered. My complaint to the BBB justly stands, after notification from the IRS that you have not fulfilled ANY of your duties, although you claimed differently, which I see is an outright lie to me, the client

Blue Tax is a fraudulent, irresponsible company which will lie to you for years and years. They never perform the duties to which they describe what they will do in regards to tax relief, and in the end if you are suckered into their bogus "A" rating by the BBB, you will eventually be in litigation for noncompliance to their advertised bull, seeking punitive damages and so on and so forth.File a complaint with the FTC, and sue them. Businesses like this need to be barred from this country. If you are a VICTIM of Blue Tax it is time that you file an extensive report of your dealings with them to the Los Angeles BBB and make sure their rating goes to what it should be "C' for Criminals or "F " for Fraudulent Failures. Do your part... and save people from this pathetic outfit and save them from dealing with the VP.

Blue Tax Praise

Thank you Blue Tax

My experience with Blue Tax has been very good.I had multiple missing returns and a complicated case.Jeff Kim stayed on top of every little thing and pushed through my case.Even when I probably called and pressured them too much, Jeff and blue tax worked through the details and delivered.I had tried another tax team out of Denver, Omni Financial, they let me down miserably.3000.00 down the drain, they simply came to me and said the did not have the people that could handle my case.Blue Tax took my case and worked through the issues and got the results I needed.Yes it takes time, usually more than planned. But do what they ask of you and respond quickly to everything, and they will get you through the process. Thanks again to Jeff Kim, and Blue Tax for all their help.

Blue Tax Blue Tax is a Fraud

I was in serious trouble with the IRS and went to Blue Tax due to their Better Business Bureau rating. I was aware of the scams artists out there but I trusted Blue Tax because I trusted the Better Business Bureau. After speaking with them on the phone, they assured me the could half my IRS debts and stop them from collecting from me. So I paid them. And then I waited, and waited, and nothing ever happened! The IRS continued collections and said nobody had been in touch with them on my behalf. I called and wanted my money back and was treated like I was the crazy one. I went into this situation with very bad finances and came out even worse. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Blue Tax IRS tax problems

They convence customers that their company is the best at getting IRS problems resolved, and then lead you along, They out right lie to customers about what the IRS wants, what forms need to filed and also as with myself mix up information, such as reversing sss#'s i could go on and on. I was foolish enough to give them $2800 18 months ago, and since then have had no results, I have contacted the IRS personally to verify forms and information blue tax was telling me I needed and the IRS stated differant. Pure scam business..the possitive reports you read online when you search for reviews and or complaints are put out on the internet by their own employees not actual customers...Please beware of this business

On Feb 22, 2012 I posted a complaint against Blue Tax. This was a mistake! I wrongly confused Blue tax Inc., of California, with the company I was having trouble with. There is more than one blue tax company out there and I got the wrong place and person!
Blue Tax Inc, of California, is NOT to be confused with the other tax places out there.
I regret my mistake and hope I have not caused any future problems.

I have also been scammed by Blue Tax Inc. They got me for over $19, 000. on my credit card up front and never did anything for me. They took MY money BEFORE they sent me a contract to sign. Then They say, NO REFUNDS. Good timing . Now Todd Lewis says he MAY refund 2000. WOW They even convinced my wife to sign her name to my CC knowing she wasnt even on it. I did contact the BBB but they have not responded to me. Is there anything else I can do ? speakergb@cbpu.com
