They tried to scam me out of 2 months rent by signing a lease before possession for 2 months before my rental date
They tried to scam me out of 2 months rent by signing a lease before possession for 2 months before my rental date. I tried to get into a lease for an apartment in September 21st and not ready to rent until November 4th. It is fraud, a scam and glad I caught it before signing any legal document.
I worked at Bluestone for 7 years and it was a great experience
I worked at Bluestone for 7 years and it was a great experience. Unfortunately, my property got sold due to an acquisition. Bluestone's tech policies made our job easier and I'm sad to go back to manual processes with our new company. If I get a chance to work for them again, I'd do it in a heartbeat!
Bluestone Properties is a bunch of greedy people
Bluestone Properties is a bunch of greedy people. My rent went up $14/mo the second year I lived here, then another $14/mo the next year. The following year, it went up $92/mo. Now they want to increase it $335/mo. I've never been late with rent or had any "misconduct" notifications. I'm 80 years old and live on a fixed income. No stars from me at all (I had to give it one star to submit this review).
Moved in 'bout 3 years ago, *** properties owned it
Moved in 'bout 3 years ago, *** properties owned it. It was kept up real nice, and they had a bunch of socials to help us know our neighbors. Then Bluestone properties took over. Ain't nothin' to blame on covid 19 now. The plants and trees in the quad area are all almost dead, and weeds are everywhere. The sprinkler system's been broken since June. I done asked for maintenance from the company, management staff, and custodians. Ain't nobody done nothin'. It looks like a slum and nobody here gives a damn.
So, we got a guy who almost got his car jacked by two dudes with a shotgun in our complex
So, we got a guy who almost got his car jacked by two dudes with a shotgun in our complex. He told the cops and the office people, but the office people didn't do jack squat. When me and my old man found out, I called the office to ask why they didn't send an email to let everyone know what happened. The Assistant Manager told me it ain't their job to tell people about crime. Are you kidding me? That's like, super important, especially if it happens on their turf! They can't stop crime, but they should at least tell people about it! I'm giving them one star, but only 'cause I gotta.
Bluestone Properties, LLC took over *** in May
Bluestone Properties, LLC took over *** in May . Since then, the management company has made some mistakes. The property is not in the best condition, with trash and animal waste covering the area. The dumpster is overflowing, and the animal refuse containers have not been emptied in weeks. They advertised a year-round, heated, saltwater pool, but it's not heated, not open, and full of debris. They even raised our rent by 10% when they took over. They charge less for 1-year leases and more for long-term leases. When I asked why, the office staff member, *** said, "We don't want people staying for more than a year, so we can raise the rent." It's not a good situation. I had to give a star rating to leave the review, but it should be zero!
I lived at Bluestone Properties, LLC in ***, ** and was so disappointed with the management and staff
I lived at Bluestone Properties, LLC in ***, *** and was so disappointed with the management and staff. I put in a work order for my window to be fixed three times because it kept falling in on me and I got hurt because of it! But they never fixed it. I paid a monthly pest fee and always had problems with ants and roaches. I sent an email on July 6 saying I wouldn't renew my lease that was up on September 7, but they say I didn't. When I showed them proof, they said I came into the office on July 8 to sign paperwork. I was told that writing my 60-day notice was enough. And now they charged me one day's rent. I work in property management and can't believe how unprofessional and dishonest they are!
I aint lived at this place for like a year and then I get a call from collections sayin' I owe them money for damages and cleaning
I aint lived at this place for like a year and then I get a call from collections sayin' I owe them money for damages and cleaning. They even kept my $1000 deposit. I never got no communication from them through phone, email, or mail. This company has all my info, but they didn't bother to reach out. I went to the office of my old place to get answers, but they done sold all their properties, including this one. I tried to contact them by phone and email, but nothin' went through. It's a joke and a shame for them and anyone in charge. I hope they get what's comin' to them for tryin' to scam people out of money. If I could give them zero stars, I would. They need to be stopped from doin' this to people in the future.
I was so let down by my stay at Bluestone Properties, LLC starting on August 15th
I was so let down by my stay at Bluestone Properties, LLC starting on August 15th. I moved in on the 15th, and the area outside my apartment is so gross, as you can see from the pics. They stopped cleaning it a couple of years ago to save money. I cleaned it up a bit, but it's still nasty. You gotta pay rent before moving in, plus the $400 deposit, $150 moving fees, and renters insurance. After spending all that, I left for work and came back to the door unlocked with some of my stuff thrown away (a suit, work overalls, and some groceries). The maintenance people had to do more work on the apartment but didn't know I was moving in. (Poor communication). I'll get a rental credit, but that's not a good first impression. Once I moved in, I saw hair in the bathtub and paint all over the sink, painted tape still on everything, and the kitchen and bathroom sinks leaking. (See pics/video screenshots). I still haven't gotten my washer and dryer, and it's been two weeks. I talked to the manager, and she handled it well, but it's still on me. I then saw the window filters were damaged, so if you want fresh air, bugs will come in. Always check everything. There's no vanity; the bathroom closet has the water heater ruining the inside, and the other closet has the ac unit. The trash valet is $40 a month, and they say they take it out every day except Sunday. They didn't take the trash out for a week, so I rebagged everything. But they still haven't taken it out. It's now August 30th, and I saw maggots in my trashcan and rat droppings on the ground. I'm on the third floor. I rinsed it down with water/bleach, full of maggots. I can't imagine what else could go wrong with their limited maintenance staff. It's a shame because the apartments are great. I'd look somewhere else; they're a false promise.
Bluestone Properties, LLC is a company that has some minor issues that can become more than small annoyances
Bluestone Properties, LLC is a company that has some minor issues that can become more than small annoyances. There are some positive aspects of the company, such as the availability of information to teach yourself how to run the day-to-day business of the property. Slack is also used by Bluestone, allowing you to communicate with anyone in the entire company for support, advice, or any other sort of help that you may need. However, the company culture has changed from one that encourages managers to make their own decisions to one of severe micromanagement. The turnover rate is high, which leads to an unstable work environment. Personal growth within the company is difficult because everyone above is always new. If you are planning to get pregnant, ensure that you understand that you will be essentially unemployed during the most difficult and vulnerable parts of your pregnancy. Bluestone does not have maternity leave, and they denied short term disability as well as refusing to sign FMLA paperwork from the doctor. You are also at the mercy of management to even keep your job after a pregnancy. Women have the right to have a career and a family and not be punished for it.

Bluestone Properties, LLC is a total nightmare!
Bluestone Properties, LLC is a total nightmare! The apartment manager is always on my case, making up lies and trying to charge me extra money. They won't even tell me who their boss is! They keep threatening to kick me out for no reason, and the place is a dump anyway. Don't even think about renting from these guys!
I complained on May 14 'bout my AC not workin' right
I complained on May 14 'bout my AC not workin' right. It don't cool good and runs all day. It's been over a month and my health and peace of mind is sufferin' 'cause it ain't fixed yet. I had to hire my own AC company to check it out and gave the report to the manager. They replaced my AC, but I'm still havin' the same problems.
We put in a work order for our unit #**** back in April 'cause there was a leak and the drywall needed fixin'
We put in a work order for our unit #*** back in April 'cause there was a leak and the drywall needed fixin'. They said they finished the job, but when we talked to the tenant, turns out it ain't done yet. We've been emailin' and callin' every day, but nobody ever picks up the phone and they don't respond to our emails. The work order was supposed to be done by May, but it's already July and it's still not done. ***/ Owner

We lived in the apartment for 3.5 years at *** in *** and we're getting charged for carpet and paint
We lived in the apartment for 3.5 years at *** in *** and we're getting charged for carpet and paint. I requested for that to be taken off as that's normal wear and tear. Per *** state code, you can't be charged for normal wear and tear on paint or carpet. The manager won't speak with me over the phone to resolve the issue. The manager of the property won't escalate my issue to anyone. They're charging us $50 for pet treatment on the carpet they replaced, carpet replacement for *** and full paint for ***. We also paid a 30 a month pet rent through our entire stay at the ***.
I moved into *** in ***, about 6-7 years ago
I moved into *** in ***, about 6-7 years ago. It was owned by *** Properties at the time. Somewhere along the way, they sold to Bluestone Properties. Well, recently they sold to ***, I think. I recently moved out of the complex and have asked about my security deposit. I'm struggling to get anything as *** stated they gave it to Bluestone when they sold, and I was able to talk to someone at ***. *** is telling me Bluestone says they don't have anything. I haven't been able to speak with anyone as they only have forms to fill out. I've done so, but it seems to fall on deaf ears. It's frustrating, and I hope they can resolve this soon.
I wanna talk about Bluestone Properties, LLC
I wanna talk about Bluestone Properties, LLC. So, I had to give up my apartment on August 4th because of the pandemic and being 8 months pregnant, I couldn't pay my rent. I gave up my apartment because I couldn't find a job because no one was hiring due to the pandemic. Two days later, they sent out an email saying they would help tenants who had trouble paying their rent and get assistance, but they didn't offer that to me. A month later, I found out that I owe $2600 to that apartment complex, and now it's on my credit report. I can work now, and the pandemic is coming to an end, but I can't get an apartment because of this. Can you please help me get this removed? Thanks.
I had a bad experience with Bluestone Properties, LLC
I had a bad experience with Bluestone Properties, LLC. I lived in The Ivy and my downstairs neighbor was bought out. I asked my apartment manager if I could leave my lease and she said yes. I gave written notice and got a response that said "received." Two weeks later, I asked for my charges for my last month and paid them. I left the apartment clean and gave it back early. The Asst. *** asked for my forwarding address and then I heard nothing. Two weeks later, I got a call saying I owed over $1,000. I was never shown proof or told about this. I tried calling and emailing corporate and the property manager, but got no response.
I've been waitin' 3 months for the *** in ***, ** to mail us a refund check for **** minus the last water **** fee
I've been waitin' 3 months for the *** in ***, *** to mail us a refund check for *** minus the last water *** fee. They've been givin' us the runaround since April about gettin' our deposit back. My wife and I have been told a bunch of different stories, like it takes 90 days from when they get our paperwork to their corporate office in ***, or they mailed the check on May 1 and we shoulda gotten it in 10 days. *** ain't answerin' our calls or returnin' our messages. We sent a letter on June 26 and *** signed for it a week ago, but still ain't contacted us. This is our last chance to get our deposit back before we gotta drive from *** to *** and take 'em to small claims court. We've been real patient and understandin', but enough is enough.
I been renting from Blue Stone Properties LLC at *** since January
I been renting from Blue Stone Properties LLC at *** since January . My lease ends January 10, 2022. 'Bout a year and a half after renting there 'round June , I started having some bad health issues. I won't go into the deets, but I had tumors pop up on my liver, constant vomiting, and such. I had to move closer to my fam 'cause of my health. I begged them to work somethin' out and let me outta the lease, but no dice. I couldn't afford to live anywhere else 'cause I was payin' rent. So I been storin' my stuff there and crashin' on my fam's couches. I been checkin' on the place every so often. On September 27, I found black mold growin' all over the walls and ceilin'. I told the property management, but it's been a week and they ain't cut out all the mold yet. I'm startin' to wonder if my health problems were 'cause of this. I need outta this lease for my health and safety. Please help.
I left this apartment building on April 30
I left this apartment building on April 30. I did my move out with Cassie Pargas and we both signed and released all keys/gate cards. On May 5, I got a move out ledger which had a balance of $80 for deep clean, $200 for paint fees to repaint the whole unit, and also a remaining utility bill of $35. The ledger said I would get the security deposit of $100. I saw the errors for the move out date and $100 credit not deducted. I called Summercrest Apartments and spoke with Jessica Freeman who said that since Cassie is new, she made errors on my ledger but if I didn't pay the balance, she would send it to collections. I just got the ledger on May 5. So I asked Ms. Freeman how this can be fixed. I kept getting cut off, Ms. Pargas got on the call and said that since I questioned the errors, I would now have to pay a $2500 fee. I can provide info about this conversation. I am asking that the added fees be removed and the move out date be corrected.
I gave Bluestone Properties, LLC a try on 7/29
I gave Bluestone Properties, LLC a try on 7/29. They charged my credit card $150 to process my rental application with my 2 roommates for an apartment that they said we had priority over as the first applicants. I talked to a representative named *** before submitting the applications and confirmed that the proof of income we had (copies of checks) was acceptable. We are students and run our own small street food business contract. We submitted the application on 7/29 and were told on 7/30 that the apartment was rented to someone else overnight. They offered us another apartment that was more expensive, but later told us that our proof of income was not good enough to rent another apartment. The office manager *** agreed to refund the full application fee of $150 on 8/3, but also threatened to sue me if I disputed the charge on my credit card. I called to follow up and left 2 messages, but they didn't call me back. They are screening the calls and know my number. The staff is very rude and dishonest!
I live at Bluestone Properties' *** pad (Apt 117) in ***, ***
I live at Bluestone Properties' *** pad (Apt 117) in ***, ***. They told me to pay $681.11 for my last month's rent and to give them a money order before 4PM on February 1st of 2022. I gave them the money order on January 31st at 4:45 PM and they said everything was good. But today (February 1st, 2022), they charged me $1057.63 to *** and now I only have $90 left in my bank account. I called and emailed them a lot today, but they only gave me back the money order for $681.11 and said they'll give me the rest with my deposit. They said I was supposed to cancel my autopay, but I don't have any proof of that. I paid in advance like they said and they said everything was good. I'm leaving on February 18, 2022, and they said they'll send me the refund by mail in 3 to 4 weeks. That's not cool. I want my money back now.
I had a big problem with bugs in my apartment at Bluestone Properties, LLC on March 6, 2022
I had a big problem with bugs in my apartment at Bluestone Properties, LLC on March 6, 2022. These beetles were flying around and laying eggs everywhere. It was so bad that I had to leave and stay in a hotel. The bugs were all over the hallway too, and other residents were having the same issue. I lost a lot of money staying in a hotel and still had to pay rent. This situation was so stressful that I got physically sick and had to take time off work. I asked management to let me out of my lease, but they wouldn't do it without making me sign another 12-month lease for a different building. I only had two and a half months left on my lease, but they still made me pay luxury apartment rent for a place that was unlivable. They wouldn't let me out of my lease without paying a lot of money, so I had to keep paying them. I am shocked that Bluestone Properties, LLC expects people to pay so much money for a place that is infested with bugs. Other residents have seen the bugs too, and they are just as appalled as I am. I think my request was reasonable, but they wouldn't let me out of my lease. I didn't even ask for any money back, just to be let out of my lease or to stop paying for a place that was unlivable.
I had a bad experience with Bluestone Properties, LLC
I had a bad experience with Bluestone Properties, LLC. There was a big storm in Texas in February and my apartment flooded twice. It smelled bad and the maintenance guys came and took pictures. But on March 4th, I came home and saw that my walls were torn out. There were wires and pipes and nails sticking out. I told Chris at the rent office that I work from home and need privacy and quiet. I have bipolar disorder, PTSD, and depression, so it's important for me to have a safe and healthy place to live. Chris said he would try to help me move, but then I went to Alabama for a month and nothing was fixed. I called and emailed but didn't get a response. When I finally got in touch with Chris, he didn't care about my health and safety and charged me late fees and a termination fee. I had to contact the City of Austin to get help. This whole situation has been really stressful and made my mental health worse.
